Hello Hello! I’ve just realized that I didn’t make an introduction post!

I’m Jay, just a queer dude in their mid 20s, who likes to write a variety of things! I post on kindle vella, mostly because I can get the motivation to work on the next chapter. My writing and reading tastes are all over the place, and I’ve tried dipping my toes into a variety of different genres!

My favorite to write has to be horror, mostly because I find it cathartic, but I also like romance and the way intimacy can build! I have so many notes on my stories of what happens behind the scenes, and I might post some of those along with wips. Extra insight to my characters, and such.

I currently have one serial novel that’s being published, called Pruning Shears and Spades which is available on both Kindle Vella and Fictionate.me! The first three chapters are free to read, so you can see if it’s something you’d like to read to completion!

There is probably going to be an update 1-2 times a month, since I have to pay my editor, but I think that makes it worth it, so my writing is cleaned up and easier to get through!

Here it is: The Aftermath Before The End

After alot of deliberation, I think I’m ready to share my book again - though this time, there have been some changes.

About three years ago I first published my science fiction book ‘Aftermath’ on Amazon/Kindle. However at the time I was incredibly naive and inexperienced - I was in a rush to become an author I didn’t have a proof-reader or anything. So a year later I took it down because I felt genuinely embarrassed. I have been agonising over it since; trying to get it right. I am incredibly grateful for those who took the time to read the original, as it gave me the inspiration I needed to better myself as a writer, and finish this story for good.

So here it is:

The Aftermath Before The End: WATTPAD

Summary: In the corner of his eye was a shadow. Staring as it always did. Silent. It hid on the fringes of his vision, as though just a pattern in the fabric of the universe; ghastly and out of place. He'd seen it enough times now to generate familiarity, like an old friend checking in or an underlying illness prepared to strike. But Mitchell Locke wasn’t one for pre-determinism, nor was he one for change.

Yet when the universe decided to place him on a pedestal for all to seek, he became a central piece to the puzzle Xander Hall needed to save the universe from Prosperity.

As always, it’s easier said than done when the puzzle piece is lost within himself; fallen between the cracks of the Fabric and his mind.

The first six chapters are available on Wattpad, and I aim to get the rest out in the coming weeks.
