Bombalurina/Mistoffelees/Rum Tum Tugger Whump Prompts

- Bomba gets sick, which is a rare occurrence, and Misto and Tugger take care of her. Surprisingly, she's not stubborn and does everything they tell her to- staying in bed, eating what they bring, taking medicine, etc.

- Misto gets hurt, Tugger panicks a lot, and Bomba, having learned things from Jennyanydots, takes over and starts to bandage him up, even though she's terrified too

- Bomba and Tugger convince Misto to stop practicing, and when they get to the den, they see bruises and blisters from dancing

- Bomba gets attacked by Macavity, and Tugger, terrified, brings her to Misto to heal her. He does, then brings her to Jennyanydots

- Misto gets hurt protecting Bomba, and she carries him back to the junkyard, begging him to hold on for a bit longer. As Misto is being taken care of by Jenny, Bomba and Tugger sit outside the den, holding hands as Tugger consoles Bomba. She feels guilty for not protecting Misto first, but Tugger comforts her, saying he's stubborn as hell and would do anything to protect them. Tugger's really worried, but he tries not to show it. Misto pulls through, and there's lots of emotions when he wakes up.

- Misto gets stuck in the cold, Bomba and Tugger warm him up

- Tugger gets attacked by a pollicle, and Misto expends his magic teleporting him to Jennyanydots. Jenny calls in Bomba, who is immediately told, by Tugger, that Misto teleported him here and needs help. She goes to find Misto (the pollicle is gone), and eventually finds him nearly unconscious in a pool of Tugger's blood. Misto is slightly scratched up, but the main issue is that he's about to pass out. She gets him to wake up, and helps him walk back to the yard.

Reaction: Bomba/Misto/Tugger

Basically, Bomba gets hurt, and she guides Misto through treating her wound. Tugger panics, but also helps. I think it came out pretty well!

The pollicle ran away, whimpering and stumbling, with a burned patch of fur on its hind leg. Mistoffelees turned around quickly as it ran off, switching his attention over to Bombalurina, who was currently laying on the ground with a deep gash on her leg. Tugger was sitting next to her, his hands hovering over the wound as he panicked.

“Alright. Tugger, move. Bomba, tell me what to do.” Mistoffelees’s voice was more serious than either Tugger or Bombalurina had ever heard. Tugger moved off to the side and Mistoffelees sat next to her injured leg, studying the wound.

Bombalurina groaned and laid her head back on the ground, speaking as she did so. “Okay, Misto. The first thing you need to do, if you can, is clean the wound. Can you conjure water and a cloth?”

“Well, I can certainly try.” Mistoffelees closed his eyes, and his body started to glow and sparkle faintly. He focused on Jenny’s den, where he knew such items were kept. Similar to his trick at the previous ball, he reached behind a nearby sheet of metal and pulled out a cloth and small container of water. “There.” He sounded satisfied with his work.

“Good. Now, I need you to clean the wound. Don’t just clean the surface, you need to make sure it’s as thorough as you can get. Tugger will need to hold my leg down, it’s going to be painful.”

Tugger’s face paled at this, and he started shaking slightly. “Are-are you sure? What if I do it wrong? Maybe I can just stay here, right? That would probably be more, uh, more helpful.”

“Tugger, you can do this. I just need you to hold my leg down. Dealing with this is gonna hurt, and I can’t kick Misto in the face. I might scream, I might make noise, but you need to ignore it.” Her tone softened when she saw how nervous he looked. “I love you. It’s going to be okay, I just need you to do this for me, alright?” Tugger nodded, and while he was still slightly shaking, he looked a tad less nervous.

Tugger scooted over to Bombalurina’s side, hesitantly placing one hand on her hip and the other right under her knee. Mistoffelees sat opposite of him and dipped the cloth in the container of water. He then started to clean the injury out. As expected, Bombalurina tensed and groaned. And as instructed, Tugger held steady, although he looked terrified.

Mistoffelees was shaking slightly as he cleaned the wound. He wouldn’t outwardly display it, but he was scared. He didn’t quite know how to do this, but he trusted that listening to Bomba’s instructions would prove successful. It was a deep wound, and he knew he had to be more thorough. Taking a deep breath, he pushed a bit harder, reaching the smaller crevices of gash. Bombalurina screamed, pushing against Tugger’s grip. Tugger was crying now, and his hands were shaking badly, but he maintained his hold on her leg.

Mistoffelees finished cleaning the wound, setting the bloodied rag next to Bombalurina’s leg and leaning back. Bombalurina laid her head back and closed her eyes, breathing deeply in relief.

“Good-good job, Misto. Now, we need a bandage so you can wrap it up. Then we can go home.” Mistoffelees nodded in response, conjuring up some bandages and leaning back over Bombalurina’s leg. As he wrapped the bandages around her leg, she groaned softly. He worked efficiently, and soon the wound was tightly wrapped, which slowed the bleeding.

“Okay. Tugger, you can let go now.” Tugger nodded, releasing Bomba’s leg and wiping the tears from his eyes. “Help me up. We need to get to Jenny’s, so she can do the rest.”

Tugger and Mistoffelees sat outside of Jennyanydots’s den, holding hands. Tugger still looked like he was on the verge of tears. Mistoffelees turned to him.

“Hey. You did great, Tugger. I’m proud of you.” He smiled up at him comfortingly.

“You did all the work, Misto. I could barely hold her leg down, I was so nervous, and-I just froze!” He started shaking and bouncing his leg, and tears began rolling down his face.

Mistoffelees turned Tugger to face him. He wiped the tears from Tugger’s cheeks and spoke softly. “I was scared and nervous too, Tugger. We all respond differently to stressful situations. And you did help. I likely wouldn’t have been able to clean the wound without you. I love you, and I’m very proud of you.”

Tugger looked down at his hand, which Mistoffelees was still holding. More tears built up in his eyes, and he hugged Mistoffelees tightly and began sobbing into his mate’s shoulder. Tears pricked Misto’s eyes at hearing his mate like this, but he simply stroked Tugger’s back as the larger tom broke down. They stayed like this until Tugger stopped crying, and Mistoffelees leaned back and kissed him softly.

“It’s okay, Tugs. It’s okay.” Tugger rested his head on Mistoffelees’s shoulder, and they stayed like that until Jenny called them into her den. Bombalurina was laying down, and her eyes lit up when Tugger and Misto walked in. Tugger sat by her side, and she cupped his face in her hands and gave him a kiss. She continued to console him as Mistoffelees sat next to them, one hand holding Tugger’s and the other holding Bomba’s. Mistoffelees guided Tugger to lay down, and he soon fell asleep. Bombalurina and Mistoffelees watched him sleep, petting his fur and running their fingers through his hair, until Bombalurina fell asleep. Satisfied that they were both resting, Mistoffelees fell asleep soon after.

Who sings loudly and off-key in the shower, and who joins in from the other room?: Tugger sings in the shower, Bomba sings along, and Misto records it 

Who’s the Slytherin, and who’s the Hufflepuff? (Bonus: who is the Gryffindor?): Misto is the slytherin, Tugger is the hufflepuff, Bomba is the gryffindoor

Who snorts when they laugh and who thinks it’s the most beautiful sound in the world?: Bomba snorts when she laughs, and Tugger and Misto thinks it’s adorable, especially as it contradicts her cool, collected demeanor and reputation. 

Who is grumpy when teased, and who kisses them to make it better?: Misto is very grumpy when teased, and Tugger and Bomba shower him in kisses to make it better 💖💖

Who can’t cook to save their life?: Neither Misto or Bomba can cook. Surprisingly, Tugger can cook very well. He’s tried to teach them, and it went okay at best. Lots of burnt and overcooked things resulted from these lessons, however. 

Who always finds the best presents?: Mistoffelees, since he can conjure up whatever he wants. However, Bombalurina is really good at finding shiny, high quality gifts lying around town.

Who wakes the other up to look at the stars?: Tugger loves stargazing, and he wakes Misto up to go with him. Bombalurina prefers to sleep, but occasionally she joins them. 

Who would knit a scarf to give the other(s) because they noticed them shiver?: None of them can knit, but Misto would conjure up scarves and blankets and other things to keep his partners warm. 💖💖

Who buys things on a whim and who makes them return it?: Tugger and Bomba both do this, but Tugger is so much worse. He buys so many unnecessary things on a whim. Mistoffelees makes them return whatever they got. 

Who is the big spoon?: Tugger, as he’s the largest. Misto is usually in the middle, as he’s the smallest and gets cold easily. 

One headcanon: Bomba is really strong, and right up next to Jennyanydots with healing skills. This is beneficial, as Tugger is the ultimate dumbass who gets hurt at essentially every opportunity, and Misto regularly pushes himself too far with his dancing and magic. She can easily drag Tugger’s full weight around. 

How I feel about this ship: I LOVE IT SO MUCH, FAVORITE OT3

Let's make this angsty

I think I'd make Bomba the werewolf

My first thought was to make tugger one(and I suppose I could do both) but I feel like focusing on bomba today

So bomba's the werewolf

I imagine the transformation is tiring and painful, and the person afflicted, when transformed, goes into a trance-like state, making them a temporary destructive force.

In this au, Bomba and Tugger were together before Misto entered the situation. They dealt with the trance thing by keeping her locked in a room with things to break and throw around

This was mentally straining for both of them, as it hurt Tugger to see his girlfriend go through this every month, and Bomba felt like a monster and like she was undeserving of love

Then they heard about The Magical Mister Mistoffelees, and decided to see if he could help them.

Misto agreed, and in the process of figuring out a solution to help them, they fell in love.

Now let's make it extra whumpy :)

The first time Misto attempts this, he goes for both the non-violent trance AND the painless transformation. However, this is way too much power, and he nearly dies. Like is unconscious for a week, barely clinging to life thing. This is when Bomba and Tugger fully realize their feelings. When Misto finally wakes up, emotional confessions ensue 💖

Now, Misto uses his magic to make the trance non-violent. So Bomba still transforms, but her personality is the same. The transformation is slightly less painful, but that plus the non-violent trance is the most Misto can do.

After she transforms back, both she and Misto are exhausted, so Tugger takes care of them for the next day.

Another Headcanon!

This one is about Bombalurina, Mistoffelees, and Rum Tum Tugger. It could be interpreted as platonic or romantic. Both interpretations are awesome. Bombalurina has to watch over Tugger and Misto, as they both have the tendency to over exert themselves. She's learned a lot from Jennyanydots from the many times they had to visit because Tugger and/or Misto did something stupid. Bomba's amused, but also exasperated.

This could be many things: Misto pulling something while dancing, Tugger crashing into something, both of them competing over something, maybe Tugger falls off something, or maybe they stay out too long in summer because they're stubborn as hell

Whether it be friendship or romance, their dynamic gives me a "Me and my two idiots" vibe.

I sort of came up with two ideas for this, but to kinda give what I post some more variety, I went with the more fluffy domestic idea. But let me know if you wanna see the other one! also i had a bit of trouble with the ending but i think its okay lol

“Ah, shit.” Tugger cursed quietly as he pulled his arm away quickly. He had spilled some boiling water making tea, and -just his luck- it had spilled on his arm rather than the floor or counter.

Mistoffelees walked into the kitchen upon hearing Tugger curse. He saw the kettle and spilled water and immediately knew what happened.

“Oh, did you burn yourself? Come over here.” Tugger shuffled over to Misto, who kissed his cheek and led him over to the sink. He put Tugger’s arm under the faucet and turned on the cold water. Tugger winced at the initial contact, but visibly relaxed after a second. 

“You know, I could’ve done this myself.” Tugger pouted a bit, but he was smiling.

Mistoffelees flicked his side. “I know that.” Tugger stuck his tongue out at Misto, and Misto chuckled at him.

“Keep your arm under there for a bit.” He pointed at the sink, then turned around and shouted. “Hey, Bomba?”

“Yeah?” Bomba’s slightly muffled voice came from the other room.

“Tugger burned himself, can you bring the first aid stuff?”

“Yeah, hold on.” A minute later, Bombalurina walked into the kitchen with the first aid kit. “Was it the tea kettle?”

“Yep.” Misto chuckled, then grabbed a towel and turned off the faucet. He patted the burn dry, then maneuvered him and Tugger over to the table. Bombalurina placed the first aid kit down, then went into the kitchen to clean up the water. 

 Mistoffelees put some ointment on the burn, then bandaged it up. He gathered up the kit and put it away. “Alright, you’re done.” Tugger hummed in response and gave Mistoffelees a peck on the lips. 

Bombalurina walked back over to the table, giving each of them a kiss on the cheek and then walking back to the living room. Tugger followed her, and they both sat down on the couch, with Bomba leaning on Tugger. Mistoffelees returned to the kitchen, refilling the kettle and bringing them tea.
