Eric doesn't know how to tell him. So he talks in Japanese and stabs himself in the stomach dramatically falling dead onto the couch and imitating Seppuku, which is the Samurai practice of voluntarily dying with honor rather than falling into the hands of your enemies. -Danielle

I cried... One of the things that does make me so emotional about it is that like, again, talking about the other layers of this relationship and what it means to Shawn... is Shawn being able to step in and make the right choice to protect her has to have in some way healed something there. There's gotta be something for him that's like, something I'm able to do for somebody else, that... he wasn't able to do for himself, or he wasn't able to do for his mother or...
I think all Shawn wants is somebody like him in this episode standing up for him.

I think this is the Episode this is the episode that, that, that, that launches the commitment. Right? We are going to commit as a show, as a couple at all. You know, we're all in. And the audience is coming with us. And, and it feels a little, I feel in these first scenes, it, it feels like we're we're being pushed into that direction, right? -Rider
