learned something about myself lately

#i dont think its even the fact almost all my characters are somewhat beasts in one way or another. i just #really like tails and wish i had one myself #and then my oc designs are a little tame theyre mostly human shaped with animal features. but they always have tails #my eyes have recently been opened to the appeal of long whiplike unicorn tails.. so flowy and curly #something about the tuft at the end being long and swirly just does something for me.. #maybe it would make sense to change auggies tail shape so it looks like a meteor. her design is mainly pink with hot pink accent #so it would be cool to use that and orange to make it look like a fire meteor.. maybe itll help complement the blue/green in her design #head full of ocs today so expect a ramble later #if i had a tail i think it would be long with a kink. so it kind of folds over once but not in a curl #when it wags its kind of a swaying motion. i have thought about this a normal amount #yapping

So there's one Astarion debate I haven't put my two cents in yet, and that's changing today guys. Buckle up.

Astarion's eyes are either green with golden flecks or blue with golden flecks. I'll tell you why.

Astarion is a high elf. High elves have 4 subraces. Of the 4 subraces, 2 have the possibility to have silver hair like his. Those two races are moon elf and star elf. From there we can narrow by personality.

Moon elf personality description: Impulsive, with a strong distaste for complacency.

Star elf personality description: Aloof and cautious.

Now, I love Astarion, but he's not aloof. That man cares too much. So personality wise that narrows to moon elf.

Moon elves have one of two eye colors: green with golden flecks or blue with golden flecks. So Astarion's eyes looked like one of these two:

Can we just take a moment to appreciate how good Blue Eye Samurai is at avoiding cliches? I 100% - no, 1000% expected Fowler to find out Mizu is a woman through the classic expedient of him ripping her clothes and exposing her breasts - especially since this show doesn’t shy away from nudity. Instead, he pointed out how “his” bones break like a woman’s, and that line was so unexpected and powerful because of course Fowler would know something about women’s bones and the way they break. He’s been doing that for the past 10 years
