I was listening to KPFA radio out of Berkeley California today and heard parts of a Betty Reid Soskin documentary.. She is now 102 years old, but retired as a national park ranger at age 100.
She was a pioneering blogger who started a blog about her life in 2006 when she was 85. She told the story of her life from memory. She said that remembering depends on who in the room is doing the remembering.. She blogged about her life and the black struggle in America through the years of her life. She was also a singer.
I like what she said about remembering. It depends who is in the room doing the remembering. A straight person and a gay person may remember the same situation in different ways. Same for a black person and a white person. The important thing in a blog or in a journal is to document the situation from your perspective. Don’t be bullied into writing only what flys as cultural norm. Your past experience will stain and color your take on the present. Write from that place.
A friend of mine in the gym this morning asked me how my blog was going? I told him it was going well. I’ve told him in the past that the blog includes some hard truths about my life. He said that a mess without a message is just a mess. He said it’s good that I’m vulnerable on the page, and that I let the mess of my life howl out some inherent resulting truths. I try to use the dark side of life to gain insight when I can.
Tumblr said yesterday that I have now posted 500 blogs. I’ve been blogging for 13 months today. The daily blogs seem to roll out and evolve and take on a life of their own.
Hey just a crazy little PSA that I thought about writing a couple of months ago, decided against it, and am finally forced to write now (due to feeling self-conscious). My, let’s just say, sports injuries have been preventing me from drawing pain-free for nearly a year now so if you notice a lower rate of output or lower quality of art on this blog that will be the cause of it. I made another post similar to this one earlier but I want to reiterate it more clearly.
I am the first to be, uh, disappointed with my inability to draw the way I used to at the start of 2021 (to speak in very diplomatic terms) and that right at a moment in my life when I both need to and feel capable of getting better at it. Well, out with ‘capability’ I guess. I’ve pretty much had it. I’ve already been taking it very easy for one (1) whole month and I plan to continue doing so until I can draw again without making my situation worse.
This is all to say I still plan on posting but it will be more of, just, irreverent jokes and anti-comedy rather than, well, the same but with artistic effort attached to it. I’ve been a successful e-clown on parts of the internet other than my personal blog for a long time now, so I’m not looking to impress you with originality here. Been there, done that. The thing is, mental health breaks don’t work for me. I would much rather Post, even if it’s something that’s lower effort, than not Post and go insane. I hope you’re fine with the slight alteration of the type of content. It’s still an art blog, it’s just gonna be a little more of my Webbed Site, too. It won’t be a permanent thing. The one thing that will remain the same is me. More or less anyway, as all things go.
I have made many campaign settings for my games, they usually run for max a couple year but i still find the act of creating them really fun, i made a small list of tips for making TTRPG Fantasy campaign settings, focusing open world sandbox style gameplay using a bullseye approach for the creation of the world (working from a small center location into larger and larger region expanding from that center location as necessary) my current project is low fantasy, sword and sorcery, historical fiction setting place on a iron age type world, on future post i should keep fleshing out this region and the larger world around it
There’s no doubt that artificial intelligence (AI) is taking over many aspects of our lives. From your daily commute to the way you shop and even the food you eat, AI is becoming more and more prevalent. So it’s no surprise that AI is also changing the way we write.
With the help of AI, you can now get your blog posts written for you. That’s right, you can now sit back and relax while AI takes care of the writing for you. But how does it work and what are the benefits? Let’s take a look.
What is AI?
The term “AI” stands for artificial intelligence. AI is the result of applying cognitive science techniques to artificially create something that performs tasks that only humans can perform, like reasoning, natural communication, and problem solving.
How can AI be used to write blog posts?
AI can be used to write blog posts in a few different ways. Firstly, AI can be used to generate ideas for blog posts. For example, if you input a keyword or topic, the AI can come up with a list of potential blog post ideas based on that keyword or topic. Secondly, AI can be used to help research and gather data for blog posts. And thirdly, AI can be used to actually write the blog post itself.
What are the benefits of using AI to write blog posts?
There are several benefits of using AI to write blog posts. Firstly, it can help to improve the quality of writing. This is because AI can edit and proofread your blog post for you, catching any errors or typos that you may have missed. Secondly, using AI to write blog posts can save you a lot of time.

I was talking to an art major today that works at the Smithsonian and I was talking about how van Gogh is my favorite painter. I was talking about how " skull of a skeleton with burning cigarette" is my favorite painting of his and he said that i must be mistaken and that he doesn't know of any painting like that by van Gogh. Then I showed him a picture of it with the words "by van Gogh" in the caption and i am now realizing that I, a noncollege gradate had to correct a guy mansplaining to me about something he should know a lot about.
My girlfriend and best friend Ojas had a stunning idea in between a conversation we were having. What I was speaking about at the time, eludes me now, but Ojas interrupted me and said
I have an amazing idea for you that you can try.
She suggested that I could document my journey as a writer, towards the time my first book gets published. Could write about a bunch of things, as shown in the surroundings of an animated caricature of me. She suggested the title 'Day 1 to Book 1' – each day a day one, a newer day, a new day, a day closer to the day when I'd publish my first book. I immediately gave the idea 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟, and exclaimed, 'what an idea!'
