this is going to very different from my usual content, but it needs to be said now, loud and clear.

while I'm not going to get up on some soapbox and talk politics, cause they are quite frankly not my thing, it makes my head spin and I would surely misspeak like an idiot and make a fool of myself, if not do harm with my lack of political knowledge.

what I will do is say I stand with Palestine with no if's and's but's or exceptions of any kind, and if you don't stand with Palestine in that manner do us both a favor and block me now.

no one, not a single soul on this earth, deserves what Palestine has gone through in the last few decades, much less the last few weeks.

what Israel has been doing in just the last few weeks alone goes so far beyond sickening I don't have words to describe it. they're bombing innocent people, civilian homes, schools, hospitals, and ambulances of all things. targeting people fleeing on the route they told them to take, forging 'evidence' of heinous crimes that never took place, spreading horrific propaganda, the lot of it. not to mention this has been going on for decades, that barely scratches the surface of it all.

they are calling Palestinian's animals, cutting off food and water and power, cutting off the internet to silence them and it is sickening.

Palestine deserves to be free, they deserve peace and prosperity, they deserve to live and if you disagree with that, you are a monster. Palestine has done nothing to deserve this, nothing to deserve decades of apartheid, mass bombings and violence, having the world turned on them in their greatest time of need, it is sick.

this isn't some fancy speech, I know, this is just the thoughts and feelings of some stupid young (white) american who is for all intents and purposes unaffected by this genocide outside of how its tearing my heart to shreds. I don't know everything, hell I don't know anything, but my feelings stand, no one deserves to be genocided, especially not Palestine, and they need every ounce of our support.

As far as I'm concerned, when I'm tagging Tumblr search results don't exist. Tags are for me to organize as I prefer and to communicate things to my friends. "Dont tag _ as _" is invasive enough as to be actively offensive and it will be ignored always with impunity. You don't have to endorse my tags but you cannot tell me what to say or how to run my blog. This is relevant to everything

Something that is standing out to me so much is that people who support Johnny Depp and have talked about it... seem fairly level-headed in it. I have not seen many Depp supporters throwing out every accusation under the sun against people who support Amber Heard. (The closest I see is people saying that anyone who supports her supports is an abuser, which is just the truth.)

On the contrary, people still supporting Amber Heard call Depp supporters every possible insult under the sun. Homophobe, biphobe, transphobe, misogynist, rape-apologist, etc. Pretty much everything that most people would not want to be called. But I doubt I, a woman who has been a victim of a man before (not going into details here), am a misogynist. I doubt the many other women who have been victims of violence at the hands of men but still support Johnny Depp are misogynists. I doubt my friends, most of whom are gay or bisexual or transgender/nonbinary, are phobic against themselves.

The statements released by both parties after the verdict also indicate a lot about their characters. Someone else made a post that summed it up better, but Johnny talked about the people involved, including his children, lawyers, and the jury. Amber... talked about how she apparently lost her freedom of speech.

Why the fuck did 5 pro-anorexia blogs follow my main overnight? Like? I'm blocking all of you, obviously. Had a friend die from starving herself in middle school. I don't fuck with that shit. One of the blogs literally had a post like, "My mom is concerned about how much weight I've lost recently, but she's just jealous that I'm not the fat kid anymore and she still is. Skinny girls don't think about recovery." Like... Please listen to your mother. Holy shit. This is self harm and she's concerned. Your mother is not jealous that she's fat and you aren't. Stop. People literally die from this shit, and promoting an extremely unhealthy lifestyle isn't cute in the slightest.
