This was probably just a me thing...but when I first saw the Great Dragon flying through the sky in Etrian Odyssey 4, I thought it looked like the goofiest thing in the world. I mean, under normal circumstances it's not that weird-looking, just a big red dragon, but, like...

Look at it! It's not just me, right? This thing looks funny when it's flying like this! Barney-looking motherfucker, it's built like someone wanted to make Dragonite more badass but with the same proportions.

Although Frost somewhat regretted that she did not insist on taking Shining's place, or at the very least to join him thither, she thought fondly about their friends in the Dragon Lands, who were now as complete of a group as they would be allowed to bring; and in response to Nox's promise, Shining swore to be as quiet and cautious as possible while with the group, and asked them all to continue.

Before they set off again, however, both Light and Nox insisted on making sure that Shining was all right, to which he politely replied that he was thankful for their concern, but he sweetly promised them that he was fine, since the cold had not hurt him; and while he had indeed fallen unconscious, and he was unaware of Light dragging him back through the gate, this would have no lasting effects.

Speaking of the gateway, Shining cheerfully added, as he gestured to the group to head East, he did not know what it looked like, nor who the one was that had created this unique method of crossing a distance as great as between the Empire and the Dragon Lands; but as he looked around the group, he counted only six others, and he solemnly told them that he would like to know whom he had to thank.

But to his confusion, Nox and Light also started looking around, and after they counted themselves, Inferno and Ember, who were standing in front of Summer, and Courage, who was lonelily playing with a ball, they groaned in annoyance; for they realised that Shining was correct in his count, so they instantly asked the others if they had missed anything while they were busy taking care of Shining.

Unfortunately, neither of the two Dragonesses saw anything after the gateway was opened, and Summer solely watched Light as they turned into a being of Shadow and Flame, and leapt through the gateway to save Shining; but he did notice that the gate closed very quickly after they and Shining made it back, so wherever he had gone in such a brief time, he could not have gone far to be that accurate.

At that moment, Shining quietly asked Light and Nox if they could tell him what was going on, as it was clear that one of their company was missing, and he wanted to help them find him, to which they kindly thanked Shining, before they gave him a description of the Pony that had vanished; a coat as green as the densest forests, mane as black as night, and eyes of two different, yet fiery colours.

As Shining turned away to look around for the Unicorn they were looking for, Light and Nox admitted that they should have gotten used to such trickery from their friend, and they did not know whether they would ever find out how he managed to disappear so suddenly; but they had hope they would find him soon, especially since in such a barren place, his green coat would stick out like a sore hoof.

Even with her enhanced Sight, however, Nox told the others that she could not find a trace of their friend, so she told them that she would fly around for a little while, and let them know if she saw anything; but just as Nox flew into the air, Courage started barking at her, and she went back with a quiet sigh to promise the little Pup that he did not need to worry, and that they would find him.

But while she had hoped that her calming presence and sincere promise would ease Courage's mind, it appeared to have no effect, as the Pink Pup worriedly started sniffing around on the ground, trying to find a semblance of a trail to follow; but when Courage stopped next to the ball with which they had been playing, though the scent was mixed with his own, he flew off to find out whither it lead.

Despite his small size, the Pink Pup ran across the ground with such incredible speed that even Nox struggled to keep up with him, while behind her, Light knowingly looked at Shining, and said enough without uttering a single word; so Light called back to Inferno and Ember, and asked Summer to join them as well, before they ran off after Nox and Courage, hoping that the Pup was on the right path.

As they chased the two distant specks East, Light sighed deeply, and exhaustedly whispered:

"Come on, Boom… Why do you feel the need to do this to us…"

This is Al'Diabolos aka Diablo the lord of terror the titular character of the video game series diablo. He was the third and youngest of the prime evils but the older brother of the lesser evils. He was by far the most powerful and dangerous of his three brothers. He embodies terror and spreads across the sancutary and wants to take over all of creaton and defeat the angels. He is also the father of leah.

When Light whispered the name of their mysterious and mischievous friend, Shining pensively glanced aside, away from them, and his pace slowed down as he spoke to himself, trying to work out where he had last heard that name; but before he could come to a complete stop, Light quickly rushed back to Shining to make sure he could not get lost, knowing that they were separated more than ever before.

Regrettably, yet understandably, neither the two Dragonesses nor the strange Kirin that accompanied them stopped to wait for them, so when Light asked Shining to come along, they repeated the promise they had made to him and Cadance back in the Empire the previous night; but before Light could give Shining the answers he sought, they told him they first had to rejoin the rest of the group, again.

Luckily, despite their rocky start just a few weeks ago, Shining accepted their promise with a firm nod, and after Light nodded in return, and the two smiled at each other, they ran after the trio as quickly as they could; but just as they realised they would not catch up to the two Dragonesses and the Kirin, a strong wind picked up behind the two, who effortlessly started to sprint ever quicker.

Meanwhile, while she was glad that the Pink Pup was running the right way, and she was impressed at his nigh tireless speed, Nox feared that the others might lose track of them, or that she would not be able to find them when she headed back to them; so after she managed to catch up to Courage, she asked him to slow down, and to let her and the group help him by showing them where he was heading.

But in response, Courage only briefly looked at Nox flying overhead before he sharply turned to the side, causing her to overshoot, when he barked at her twice, which she remembered was a way for him to agree to what she said; and after she came to a halt by digging her paws into the ground to slow herself down, Nox sighed deeply in frustration and exhaustion, before she flew after Courage again.

Fortunately, she caught a glimpse of him not long thereafter, but as she got closer, she found that the Pink Pup had drastically slowed his pace, and he was merely walking across the coarse ground in front of her; but when she landed just behind him, she softly asked Courage if something was wrong, to which the Pup did not bark, to her relief, as he slowly continued sniffing around on the ground.

When Nox looked in every direction around them, however, though she was able to see the faintest of figures in the distance running and flying their way, she could not see a sign of anybody anywhere, and she sweetly asked Courage if he was certain that he was nearby; and the Pink Pup turned to bark twice at her yet again, when his tail started to wag, and he searched around the area more quickly.

With a quiet and mournful sigh, Nox humoured the Pink Pup, and helped Courage to look around, until she noticed that he was about to fall down the edge of the cliff along which they were walking, and she swiftly dove in to stop him; but a moment before Courage unknowingly wandered off the cliff, he was suddenly grabbed by his neck by something she did not see, which instantly caused him to whine.

Hearing the heartbreaking cries of the little Pup, Nox conjured a weapon from the Unseen, almost by reflex, and charged towards the invisible force that was holding on to Courage, yelling at whatever it was to let go of him; but to her surprise, when the Pink Pup was gently placed on the ground, he did not run back to her, and instead, Courage started to jump at a figure as he whined more loudly.

The sight of Courage clearly being overjoyed to be standing next to the thing for which he had been searching greatly confused Nox, and she narrowly managed to stop herself before she slew the figure with the blade she pulled from the Unseen; but since she did not know how she failed to see what or who was in front of her, she pointed her sword to the figure, and ordered it to show itself to her.

When the figure turned towards her, Nox almost dropped her sword, and whispered with a stutter:

"What…? How… Why?"

So as the audience we know that Gandalf probably has a good reason to not want to go to Moria, but to Gimli it was probably sooo confusing. He’s just like, “hey so I know this really cool path that will take us right we’re trying to go, it’s super safe and full of friendly people! Don’t you think we should go? :)” And then Gandalf’s like, “god no. we should never do that. why would you ever say something like that. what’s wrong with you.”
