Also reminder that regardless of where you are, especially if you’re not in a supportive environment, things in your life can change for the better: “I grew up thinking everything was an opportunity to justify existing, but there are people out there who won’t make you feel worthless, you just have to let yourself meet them.”
i like the idea of the blight-deamonne kids having a bit where they make alador really lame shirts every so often and leave them in places for him to discover, usually his lab. i mentioned this in my massive blight-deamonne family hc post already but i am thinking abt it again.
catch him wearing a shirt that says "i used to be worse" or "world's first transmasc absent father" or "im not the stepdad im the dad that stepped up" or even one of those . oddly specific shirts which uses 40 different fonts and is like "I am PUSHING FIFTY and am a Proud DIVORCED FATHER of 4 KIDS and my New HUSBAND and I are ABOMINATION SPECIALISTS who have Known Each OTHER since HIGH SCHOOL and have been Obnoxiously VAGUING EACH OTHER on PENSTAGRAM since its Release"
out of all of them alador's favorite shirt is the one which just says "autism" on the front and has like 50 bug facts on the back in tiny print. every time he wears it he has to take at least 5 minutes to look at the bug facts first even if it means he's late for something
darius finds this bit extremely funny and contributes by gifting alador booty shorts with similar (though slightly less sfw) captions on the ass
I gotta say, one of the many reasons I love The Owl House is just how well they do sibling dynamics. Like,
These two. On their own they each could be considered functioning adults (generously speaking), but put them in the same room together and they immediately revert back to teenagers.
Then of course, the Blight siblings,
On top of being comedy gold, these three are the most relatable and accurate portrayal of siblings I've recently seen in media.
Look at this, pretty sure this could be an exact photo of me and my own sister on any given day.
TLDR The Owl House has great siblings and is great in general. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.
