no because i haven’t stopped thinking about that ask that said oskar didn’t deserve the masterson trophy and it seemed “forced” he won. “the bill masterton memorial trophy is awarded annually to the national hockey league player who best exemplifies the qualities of perseverance, sportsmanship, and dedication to ice hockey. it is named after bill masterton, the only player in nhl history to die as a direct result of injuries suffered during a game.” i don’t know about you all but that seems to me like oskar absolutely deserved that award. he’s a professional athlete who went through one of the biggest fights of his life and came back to play the sport he loves. you don’t know what his body went through or what he went through mentally, emotionally and physically. saying his win seemed forced or saying he didn’t deserve it because it’s just cancer is so fucked up.
