ohhhh boy i hope i have enough brain juice to articulate this cuz i am SO exhausted. but i LOVE this topic hopefully i will remember to elaborate late

but here’s somethin about the software is halosoft android personalities develop naturally over time like human personalities do based on their experiences and what they learn n go through, BUT brand-new androids are given a very simple base personality that makes them work better for their job, like for instance customer service android base personality might be something like “friendly n cooperative” but that could develop into “constant forced stepford smile grimace sqying deadpan sqrcqstic mean shit ith q cheerful friendly tone”. qnd becquse of this brand-new androids who just have the base personality are all very samey and one-dimensional and boring By Design until they develop a unique personality

and some androids, custom models especially, have blocks programmed into them to make sure their personality doesn’t develop in an undesirable way. for example, hibiki is a custom model built to be a child, so he is programmed to never be able to emotionally mature past ten years old, so he literally doesn’t age in any way whqtsoever. which is kinda fucked up!!

i know there is other shit about hqlosoft software n hardware i am just too fucked to elaborate further or get mor etechnical right now. but here is a little snippet of one of the things i think is most interesting/important^_^

OH WAIT ALSO A HARDWARE THING: androiid Faces are randomly generated by like a “this person does not exist” type algorithm and then 3D printed in order to give every android a unique look Specifically to avoid the uncanny valley and how creepy it would be if like all the employees in a walmart were exact clones of each other. so no two androids look exactly the same unless A) manufacturing defect that prints the sqme face twice [IE castor & pollux] or B) custom model android with a specific intentional requested face design that someone else already has [IE forzie]

Exactly what it sounds like: Locus and the Scooby Gang (read: the Rangers and possibly the villains) get a nice tour through the haunted house that is Aisling's mindscape that is currently infecting everyone's perceptions of the world around them. Biiig snippet after the cut, warning for suicidal behavior a la Heartbreak.

It was Sidestep. The mask was rolled up, covering her hair like a cap but the rest of the uniform was identical to the day she had met Heartbreak. Moonstruck stood beside her, facing her, the armor’s eerie opalescent lighting playing off its own mirrored surface and the surrounding fog to turn the villain into a mirage. It looked like they were speaking, but there were no words to be heard. She turned her head to look at the group of heroes and villains that had come charging through the rooftop door and smiled sadly before turning her back to them, stepping up to the edge of the rooftop.

Charge lunged forward, the almost-cry stifled on his lips. Moonstruck moved and made herself a barrier between the group and Sidestep. They found themselves unable to move, unable to speak, pinned by the weight of the mist around them as the armored figure crossed her arms. Sidestep said nothing, keeping her gaze straight ahead as she hurled herself off of the edge of the rooftop.

The moment of horrified silence was broken by the feeling of impact.

Herald looked like he was going to be sick. Charge and Steel maintained their grim expressions as they exchanged a glance before Ricardo lunged, reaching for Moonstruck’s helmet. The armored figure didn’t react as he yanked it roughly from the figure’s shoulders, revealing nothing but fog. The helmet itself dissolved into mist, the rest of the armor collapsing in its wake, causing an expanding shock wave of air that thinned the fog as it went and left the group momentarily off-guard.

Im gonna share my idea for my zombie au since it's for you. Basically Alex is found being a badass alone and they take him in and immediately Michael is into him because of course he is. The two of them spend a lot of time together because they're the best at not getting attacked while looking for food. I don't want to share after that because spoilers, but lots of bonding during an apocalypse
