The War On Free Speech: From Facebook Silencing Conservative Voices to the President’s War On The First Amendment.
Freedom of speech is one of the most important rights we have in this country and the cornerstone of our democracy. Despite this, we are seeing a disturbing trend in the United States. Liberal voices are being censored from social media. Conservative voices like Tucker Carlson’s are being silenced by Facebook. This is a very real problem that needs to be addressed. It was only a couple years ago that our Former President Donald Trump signed an executive order that allowed the government to crack down on social media companies who were censoring conservative voices. But as soon as President Joe Biden took office he vetoed this as well as many other executive orders, which is not only childish its just plain wrong.
The war on free speech has been going on for decades. It has become an issue in today’s society due to the fact that many people believe it to be a right that should not be restricted by anyone. However, some people believe that free speech should be limited in order to prevent hate speech and the spread of false information. This is a controversial subject that many people have strong opinions about. The truth is that free speech is never going to be completely free. There will always be some kind of restrictions.
Freedom of speech has been under attack for many years now. You can see it in the way people are silenced and attacked on Facebook, Twitter, and other social media platforms. And then if you dont comply they completely erase your profile all together, and when you attempt to make a new profile you arent able to do so because of your ip address..
The latest in this war on free speech is the president’s attempt to silence the press. In the past, they tried to silence the press by limiting their access to the White House and not allowing them to film and cover events. But the latest in this war on free speech is the president’s attempt to silence the press by trying to shut down their press credentials. This is a dangerous precedent for a president to set. Bidens attempt at keeping the press silent has only made matters worse for him, because the press is fighting back with everything they got on him. Ever since Elon Musk took control of Twitter the amount of ammo the press has on him has skyrocketed and since elon musk is completely against everything biden stands for he had no problem releasing all the information from the hunter biden laptop to the public and i firmly believe that if the American people knew what they know now Biden would Never have been elected. I firmly believe that Joe Biden should be impeached for all the lies and corruption his family has always been involved in, and this war on the first ammendment needs to immediately come to a screeching halt .
It's a fact that the world has changed & it's becoming harder to express your opinion in public. It's hard to believe that this is the result of "free speech". The sad truth is we are all affraid, fear is a dangerous weapon. parents are affraid of losing their jobs, the fear of not having the money to put food on the table is a fear that every parent in the middle class has felt, & since the rate of inflation is only increasing its only gettinh worse. then there are people who are afraid of being labelled as a racist, being harassed, or being sued. The world is becoming really polarized and it's hard to find a middle ground. There have been many cases where people have been completely silenced for political views. For example, Facebook has recently been censoring conservative voices. It is also important to note that President Joe Biden has been attacking the first amendment but is also trying to silence journalists. & it is a known fact that during the 2020 election the people who work at facebook did censor the hunter biden laptop so that the fbi would have nothing to find. & if they can do that, what else have they done to not only give us false information but to completely eradicate the true information. what information have they erased and did they just erase the information or did they permanently silence the people who wrote the information as well? we may never know; what we do know is you cant believe everything you read on the internet and facebook has completely censored our speech, its only free if we agree and if you dont youll be quickly deleted.
