Huh, I see a lot of lit-fic fans insisting that the stereotype of lit-fic as "college prof/writer having affairs and people being miserable in a stylistic way" is just a defensive genre fan take that took off.

I wouldn't know, myself, because nearly all my literary reading these days is in the periods I study, ending at around 1815. But my best friend is getting an MFA in creative writing and damn if every lit piece he gets assigned isn't "people being miserable in a stylistic way, especially writers having affairs."

This may not be representative of modern lit fic as a whole! Like I said, I wouldn't know. But the idea that the stereotype is completely manufactured by defensive genre fans seems ... maybe not quite fair.

idk if this is a hot take or not but sumire's pt attire really should have changed with her second awakening. ive been saying it for a while but i get they didnt wanna use the budget to give her a whole new model yap yap but i still think its a shame her first awakening attire is straight up just bc of joker's influence, not even a true awakening because she's still hiding behind a mask

I also have a heeseung fic that may or may not become a series debating how good it does that’s in my drafts as well. I plan to finish “won’t give up on us” first, make the WIP post for jay’s spin-off and then also drop the WIP post for heeseung’s fic as well. so look forward to that 🫶🏻

I am also still figuring out the outline for part three of my vamp!enha series and still taking tags for that as well! once I have a clear view of what I want the series as a whole to contain, I will drop the poll for which member will be first for the series and go from there.

One thing I love about Mikami is that he had one (1) vivid experience of wishing that someone were dead when he was a child and it came true, and he developed a miniature god complex because of it. He wished death on hundreds of people throughout his life, a handful of them just so happened to die, and he was like (Final Pam voice), "/I/ DO THIS."

this is not usually the normal stuff i post, but may moonbin's soul finally find peace in the afterlife. he was such a kind and pure-hearted person, and i'm devastated and extremely shocked by the news. i'm upset that the world's so unfair to those who didn't deserve it at all.

sending much love and condolences to his friends, family, and fans. i can't imagine the pain you're all going through. i hope you all find comfort in the fact that he no longer has to suffer and he can now rest among the stars.
