I got Venus today at my local Target!!! They had her in the back ^^ she is just the prettiest doll!

Also, I got a betta earlier :) his name is Dragon. My parents surprised me with him earlier today. They got him off Marketplace for a few bucks with the previous owner’s fish tank and supplies included. I moved him into my already cycled 5gal instead. I’ve just had a nerite snail in it for close to a year now; she gets a new roommate lol. His old tank’s only good for aquatic plants or fake fish. My parents got him knowing that I had the perfect tank for him :) he gets a lot more space now, and cleaner water

I wonder if he was an unwanted gift or something? I’m not sure how long the previous owners had him, but they had some stuff that expired late last year that I also got along with the small tank and him. Doesn’t really matter now, though. He gets to be here now :)

Hello :) This is my first post! meet Mars, named after pretty guardian Sailor Mars.

He’s a happy and beautiful boy, very curious and playful. Loves the attention so I’ve gotten some great pictures so far. I’ve only had him for about a month and I’ve already seen 3 bubble nests. I’m excited to see how his personality develops from here.

4/? Low quality pictures of my Betta boii

Found algae growing on ALL his Betta bulbs so that solves the mystery of why Buddy wasn't eating at ALL. I caught him eating the algae. Removed the bulbs and they were ALL spoiled inside.. yuck. It had started to grow on the rocks and on his heater. Poor Buddy still swims to every spot I planted a bulb and noses the rocks looking for algae. He's very confused where his apparently tasty snack went. Thankfully he's eating normally now. Still won't touch or acknowledge blood worms, though... Probably because he's still finding strands of the algae around the tank. Spoiled boy.
