asking a bunch for grant bc im NOSY : 🌾 [RICE SHEAF] How picky is your OC with food? What will and won't they eat? 🍔 [BURGER] What would your OC put on their burger? 🥕 [CARROT] How tough is your OC against certain situations? How weak are they against others?🧅 [ONION] What is surefire to make your OC cry? Who knows of this information?
omg hi nectar 🤭 thanks for sending me some questions!!
🌾 [RICE SHEAF] how picky is your OC with food? what will and won't they eat?
grant is, like, negative picky. the only thing he doesn't really like is any kind of tea but he'll drink it if you give it to him and every once in a while, for a very special flavor, he'll approve of it. maybeeeee not like it but at least tolerate it more than usual.
so yeah!! he'll eat anything, he does not care. he enjoys cooking and baking, it's all very relaxing for him, and he likes trying new things.
however, probably large in part because he never got to eat anything fun as a child unless he was far, far away from his mother (who only ever served "rabbit food"), he does gravitate to classic american comfort cuisine as his favorite foods! stuff like macaroni and cheese, pizza, etc. he might be the #1 mac and cheese stan worldwide tbh
🍔 [BURGER] what would your OC put on their burger?
the absolute dream combo for him would probably be like standard burger patty and bread with sauerkraut and swiss cheese, maybe a fried egg for funsies, too
can you tell he's from the midwest
🥕 [CARROT] how tough is your OC against certain situations? how weak are they against others?
i truly believe grant is much, much tougher than people would at first give him credit for (or even than he would give himself credit for...)
he's been through a lot in his lifetime and he can be very critical of himself for having developed mental illness, a chronic physical illness, and for struggling with addiction in the past because he feels like it's all his fault and he wasn't strong enough to make it out "normally" (there is no normal, i just think he would use that terminology against himself). but the reality is that survival AT ALL is a huge deal and is worth celebrating, and he's very resilient to have gotten to the place he's at in life now. was it fair that he had to be resilient? no, not even remotely, but in a way, he had no choice.
so that said, i think as he's gotten a better handle on healing throughout his 20s and now 30s (yay!! we just had his birthday last update in the story!!), he's become much more unshakable. social situations are his weakest area - for example, it took him a long time to stand up to his ex and tell her to get out of his life, and it is going to take even longer for him to work out the situation with his father and confront him one way or another.
NOW what is he really good at?! handling emergencies! if you're in a car accident, he's the guy you want to be in the car with you at the time because he won't break a sweat dealing with it. he's very mechanically-minded and good with logic and problem solving, so any emergency is not even slightly going to bother him because he does know he's good at those things. he trusts himself completely as long as he can use those skills. plus, he has many years of experience in compartmentalization lol.
we could also think about his previous job (that he's attempting to get back now) here. aviation is very safe for the most part, but you have to be chill about any kind of crazy ass events happening as a pilot because the stakes are ridiculously high. grant has an advantage in the chill factor, though, because on any day of the week, he'd 100% choose flying an airplane that's on fire or literally falling apart over being in the same building, not even the same room, as his mother. in his mind, he's dealt with much worse.
🧅 [ONION] what is surefire to make your OC cry? who knows of this information?
remember the not as good with social stuff thing?
yeahhhh, it's raising your voice at him. you don't even have to yell, you can just barelyyyyyy raise it and his eyes will at least get watery. he can handle honesty, he can handle bluntness, but not anything with a tone or yelling 😥
and i think everyone knows because his emotions always show on his face. in this case, he'll get that kind of twitchy look and his face will look like it's just been completely drained of life

You had a pretty normal taste in men. It wasn’t extraordinary, like he had to be super talented at one thing or had to come from loads of old money. What you envisioned for yourself was a nice man with a humble heart, great taste in food–if he could help it–be fit and find you just as attractive as you find him.
Kim Mingyu, your college friend’s biological father, could not be this man. He could never be this man. Not for the fact that he is unattractive–good heavenly gods and goddesses, how does a man like this exist–because he is just that, incredibly gorgeous and big and tall and hot.
The point is, you’re still looking, and this summer was the perfect time to do that. The problem was that Minhee–the trustworthy underclassmen/good friend/daughter of the infamously hot dad that somehow surfaced all over campus–invited, well insisted, that you stay with her for the remainder of summer break.
You had gotten close with her over the school year as a mentor, working her though pre-med to prepare her for actual medical school, yours specifically since it was best in the whole ding dang country. You just happen to mention your parents lived out of the way and you couldn’t visit them this year, so summer break had been a fleeting thought in your mind. Minhee, irrevocably delightful and considerate, wanted to show thanks for all the time you put into helping her and mention the spare room at her home half an hour away from campus.
The same home with the incredibly gorgeous father of hers that you had the pleasure of meeting once at a college picnic. It was a hot day, and he wore a sleeveless tank top that was transparent from the sweat of several rounds of volleyball, clinging on to him like a thin additional layer of skin. Attention was on him like a single acorn in a field of squirrels, gnawing at the sight of such a specimen with abs and pecs so taut and round you could mistake them for the brioche buns for the grilled burgers you were all having. And now, you are going to have the pleasure of living in close quarters with him. Only God knows how this would go.
“Good seeing you again, Y/n. Need help getting that upstairs?”
Mr. Kim, who urges you to call him Mingyu instead, is pointing out the duffle bag the size of a human being loaded on your back that you physically struggled to carry in. You remember your mom once pointing out how it looked ridiculous strapped to you like that. That was the point mother. It eliminated any potential advances.
You grin back at him with wide, platonically amicable smile, “Nope, all good,” then made your first steps over to the stairs and you can practically feel his presence lingering behind you as you walked up, probably waiting for you to fall so he could catch you in his stupidly large arms.
“Are you sure? I’m all for being a feminist, independence and what not, but I don’t know if I can let a bag that big potentially get you to trip fall down these stairs. Just had them remodeled.” God, his smile was dazzling, and those pretty canines could mark you like a badge you’d wear proudly.
“I’m good, Mr. Kim. Your glossy wood boards are safe under my feet, I promise.”
He scoffs, following you back up the stairs. “What did I tell you about calling me Mingyu, hmm? Plus you’re a guest. Since I’m the one that’s paid off this house, that means something.”
Please. He’s so witty, funny, and charming in addition to being so, so hot. This was going to be a long summer.
You toss the bag on the bed in the room Mingyu had claimed would be your ‘home away from home,’ and you smile at him in gratitude for keeping the peace.
“While I appreciate it, it’s all good. Thank you, though.” You were painfully aware of your hair sticking out in the most unflattering angles, your cheeks warm and face sweaty from climbing up a flight of stairs, and your loud obnoxious pants that could compete with your old neighbor’s golden retriever that had breathing problems. Nope, not even giving him an opportunity to think about any potential of being in bed with him. The question was, were you trying to convince him or yourself?
“Well then, Minhee is with her mom for another hour, so you won’t see her until then. If you’re hungry I could always whip you something up in the meantime. Save you some lunch money.”
Before you could protest, the eruption of thunder in your stomach interrupts you, earning Mingyu your sheepish grin and you one of Mingyu’s know-it-all smiles. “I guess a sandwich or something couldn’t hurt.”
He beckons you with a head tilt. “Come on down, you can help me. We can make something for Minhee before she gets here, too.”
Let’s make things clear. When Kim “DILF” Mingyu asks you to follow him to hell, you follow him to hell. When he offers to make you food, you happily devour it. And when he asks you for help in the kitchen, you tell him “yes, chef,” like you’re his doting little follower. You convince yourself it’s because you grew up with manners in your household. Helping elders was the least you could do. Mingyu, being much older, just naturally fell into that category.
“So, Minhee has only good things to say about you. I can’t thank you enough for helping her.”
He shoves the fabric of his button up to his elbows and proceeds to grab things from top sleeves you wouldn’t otherwise reach, handing you a grater and block of cheese to conjure up some of his famous Kimchi pasta. You’re carefully holding the grater steady by the handle, taking the block from the tip and spreading. “Well, Minhee’s awesome, I can’t thank her enough for being amazing. Getting into medical school was insane for me and she’s just breezing through. You have a very intelligent daughter, Mr. Kim.”
“Mingyu.” He repeats, as if telling you once wasn’t enough.
You shake your head while scrunching your nose. “Doesn’t roll off the tongue for me, sorry.”
Pouting, he glances at you in a light-hearted glare. “Fine. Treat me like a stranger. Eat my food like I’m a personal chef. I'm just Minhee’s old man after all.”
You roll your eyes with a smile on your lips. “Fine. Mingyu. Happy?”
“Much.”
His tone is happy, playfully, yet effortlessly alluring. Especially as he strides your way, standing mere inches away from you to retrieve a bountiful cheese nestling inside the grater, which he scoops up into a bowl to put in his decadent red sauce simmering over the stove. He meets your eyes in a soft gaze, the one that makes you hear music in your head, politely asking, “more please,” and tossing bowel’s contents to the pan.
He wants more cheese, you’d grate more cheese. What you did not intend was a piece of your palm to get caught in the metal. You wince, causing you to drop the cheese grater and hold up your hand to examine the damage.
“What’s wrong?” He immediately comes back to your side and takes your hand in his large grasp, seeing the cut for the first time, fresh with red. “Be more careful, please.”
His eyes crinkle in concern, thumbing over the sensitive layer skin, and releasing a sigh from his lips. Your eyes flutter, startled at his quick return, feeling the tension of his forearms as it brushed against yours. He could’ve not looked more attractive than this very moment and now you were wondering how many accidents you can get yourself into before he starts suspecting they’re intentional.
“I’m okay. Just a bit of a scratch.”
The way his eyes flit back at you in disbelief, almost as if there’s anger in them, and that simple look makes something in your chest do somersaults. “Are you kidding me? You’re bleeding. I’m getting first aid.”
“Mingyu–”
“Sit down, Y/n.”
Why, yes, sir.
You take the seat on the bar stool, watching as Mingyu momentarily turns off the stove and grabs a little red box. He pulls it apart, setting most of the contents on the counter. He treats the cut delicately, quietly, gracefully. Making sure it’s properly clean from infection, he places a bandaid, trapping in the sensitivity.
“Thank you.” You squeak out.
He gives you a soft grin. “Not a problem. Didn’t expect to be babying two girls this weekend.”
Babying. That word lingered in your mind longer than it should have. It invades your brain, crawling into the inner workings of thoughts pushed aside and echoed in your head. It bothered you and you have the faintest idea why.
You snicker humorously. “I’m definitely not a baby.”
He shrugs, smoothing out the adhesive. “Of course not. Not many babies are accomplished enough to graduate cum laude to get into medical school with 4.0 GPA, while building a philanthropy for families that suffered from loss due to the worldwide pandemic.”
You shyly shield away hearing that. You hadn’t expressed that part of your life often with other people. Most of the time, you are found out, having people commend you when the topic is brought up. But you didn’t do it for attention, including Mingyu’s. “Minhee told you that?” You watch for his response, seeing his lips curl up in a foreign method.
“No, she didn’t.”
You shake your head, bemused. “How did you hear that then?”
“I did my own research on you. Making sure you weren’t some kid making Minhee out for a quick buck.”
“And?” You had a feeling there was more to it.
His posture has shifted, expression somewhat twisted, and eyes fixated on you. Like he is undressing you in his head as we speak.
“I wasn’t disappointed.”
A gust of wind expels from your lungs and despite the vagueness in both your words, it’s as if you were speaking your own language. He lets go of your hand, but visibly craves being closer. Cursing his better judgment, he doesn’t take the risk, and instead takes a step back instead. Your arm lunges forward, off your seat and towards Mingyu, and your hand wraps around his forearm. You trail over his expression, cautious and hesitation, and you let a digit impulsively run down his arms, now pebbling in goosebumps under your touch.
“Why do you look scared of me?” you ask, now grinning.
He looks as if he wants to brush off the comment, but his defense fails to let him. “Why would I be scared of you?”
“You tell me, Mr. Kim,” You raise a brow. “Or I’m sorry, Mingyu. Since that is what you like me calling you. Mingyu.”
He scoffs, feeling backed into a corner. The image was funny since he had the very build to do that same, but here he was. Trapped. Being interrogated. None other than a college student only a few years older than his daughter. “Can you blame a guy for wanting to make things less awkward?”
“What is there to be awkward about–I’m not awkward,” you lie through your teeth, pressing a palm to your chest, “Is there something you feel awkward about? Mingyu.”
His name burns on your tongue differently, stark in contrast to its original purpose of dropping formalities. Maybe it could drop pants instead.
“You’re playing a very dangerous game, Y/n.”
Looks like you’ve hit a nerve.
“I’m simply trying to get to know you better, considering that’s what it sounded like you wanted. Are you trying to get to know me, Mingyu? What things do you want to know?”
His bottom lip drops from the corner of his mouth, blinking back at your taunts in intrigue, and shifts the weight on his legs. He takes the moment to scan you from head to toe, deliberating your question, leaning closer against you until you find your back digging into the marble of the counter. His hands plant on either side of you. His warm breath fans your cheeks, spicy cologne  surrounding you at all angles, and he ponders at you from the dark wisps of hairs that fell at his eyes.
“Are you ready for that answer? Truly?”
You swallow a lump in your throat, already caught in those eyes that now trailed over your body shamelessly. He looks at you as if he held back this whole time and has finally let loose of the reins. His hands smoothed over the marble, meeting each other, locking fingers, and trapping you in his careful embrace.
Your hand falls to his first chest, feeling the pure stone beneath the thin layer of fabric on top of him. You let out a shallow breath, eyes roaming over the man you so desperately wished wasn’t constantly in your mind. God, did he feel utterly exquisite.
Your hands trail up the nape of his neck, lifting yourself from your toes, and let your lips ghost over his. Your hot, anxious breath fans his face, and the pulse you feel under your palm heightens. “I think I have a right to know a lot of what you’re not telling me.”
‘Fuck me. Fuck me right now against this counter. I promise I’ll be good. Please lord, give it to me.’
Your wishes aren’t granted when you hear a car pull up and Mingyu immediately backs off, shaking his head like falling out of a trace.
‘No! No! Minhee. What the fuck? What the fuck? I was this close to fucking your dad and I was willing to do so much.’
You internally sob, hearing the beep of the vehicle go off, and a few seconds after a jangle of keys, the door swings open. “The prophetic child had arrived!”
You settle into the marble in defeat. Trying to muster up anything other than disappointment on your face as you watch Mingyu retreat from you and wrap his arms around his daughter. “Took you long enough, kid. Was thinking you forgot about me.”
“How could I even think about leaving the two of you alone in one place? You are embarrassing enough.”
His arm slings over her shoulders, planting an old fashioned noogie on the crown of her head. “Take that back. Say I’m the coolest.”
“Dad, what the heck? You’re so annoying!”
Minhee talks a lot of smack, but she smiles the brightest around her dad. Their smiles couldn’t be any more different, considering she got that from her mom, but you could see a lot of Mingyu in Minhee. Your stomach is now bubbling up in guilt, momentarily grim, before pushing yourself to meet her halfway. “Hi, Minhee.”
“Y/n!” She shoves Mingyu out of the way and grips you with so much force and warmth. “You really came! Gosh, this summer is gonna be so great.”
Minhee takes you aside, switches eyes back and forth from me and her father, chipper like an elf the day after Christmas. “My two favorite people in one summer. Don’t tell mom.”
“Why not,” he joins your embrace, fingers brushing against your bicep making your micro hairs stand stiff on your arm. “It could really bother her with this. I have every mind to.”
“Don’t you dare! Anyway, what's for lunch?”
Mingyu doesn’t pay the slightest attention to you during the meal after what almost transpired in the very place you prepared it. You fork over your food door in contempt, watching their animated conversation long enough to analyze their relationship. Minhee is as easy going as her dad, all smiles and radiance, and while Mingyu was well into his age, it doesn't appear so as he emits this natural youth that seems to combat age better than that of the most expensive, luxurious cream on the market. He aged incredibly. Even the smell of fermented cabbage couldn’t bring disdain to his presence.
“Hope dad’s been nice. He can be a lot.”
You’re pulled away from your thoughts and you smile back at the younger girl, not letting it reach near your eyes. “Oh, he’s been…inviting.”
Mingyu clears his throat at that, hands giving out in a slight tremble as he reaches over to retrieve his beverage.
“Probably overly inviting. He has a habit of that, but that is usually what scares the bad ones away. He’s always given my ex-boyfriends this illusion of comfort and hospitality, but then rips them apart when they say anything remotely critical about me.” She playfully shudders, “he can go psycho.”
“I am right here, darling daughter.”
“Good, because you needed to hear it.”
You chuckle in amusement, feeling honored you get to witness such a wholesome relationship. Their familial interactions eventually come to an end and dishes are gathered to get washed. You volunteer yourself to help, reasoning with the Kims that you were a grateful guest living here for free, and that this was the least you could do.
“Not with your cut.” Mingyu points out.
Minhee’s eyes shoot open at you. “You got a cut?”
“It’s fine,” you reassure, “I’ll wear gloves. Why don’t you get the movie ready that you’ve been wanting to watch?”
“I actually thought of taking us out, if that’s okay. We should spend the first night out, not at home. Silly.”
“Oh?”
You hadn’t thought about leaving the house much, only expecting a few dinners out when the night prompted, but it was a Thursday afternoon. What much was there to do on a hot summer weekday? What was even open?
“There's just this place I wanted to check out since getting back into town and I just know you would love it. Please?”
You were actually really hoping to finish that moment again with Mingyu, calling in a bathroom break when you’re really having him rail you down the stairs with his hand clamped over your mouth. “Sure. Why not? We deserve it.”
Minhee claps with joy. “Great! I’m gonna get ready.”
The girl makes her excited steps up the stairs, the thumps of her feet distancing from earshot as you come up over the sink. You pull the gloves over your forearm as warm water runs down the rubber. “I guess I should hurry up and get ready too.”
You peer at Mingyu from the corner of your eyes. For the first time, an unreadable expression is on his face, and he’s taken over in silence. He thinks to walk over, hovering his footing, and gradually approaching you in a smooth stride. “You girls have fun.”
That was a strange response considering your moment together. You direct your body to him, “Um, Mingyu, are you acting strange becau–”
“We should let what happened not come between us. Just a fleeting moment. Natural with two adults. You understand.”
With that he walks away from you, only having his back into view as tracks his way back to his room, leaving you abandoned, horny, ashamed.
Fuck it. You will have a good time.
As soon as you and Minhee were both ready, you’d have a great time out, and you’d make sure of it. You leave the house together, punching the thought of Mingyu away and enjoy drinks at the new bar located a short drive from her place. The atmosphere is lively and well and the drinks, although pricey, were delicious nonetheless.
The occasional image of Mingyu mere centimeters away from you would appear in your head and with that, you immediately swallow down your drink, drowning him until it’s a blur. It helps that Minhee liked talking, and you dind’t mind in the slightest. She was good company, one of the many reasons you like being around Minhee. It seems that you weren’t the only one to agree as you swarmed by company.
They introduced themselves as Jeonghan and Joshua, two gentlemen that planned on scoping out the location to see how it competes with theirs, evidently poaching new clientele. They urge both you and Minhee to visit their place another time, persuading you with a few free drinks and perks they were willing to give. You looked back at Minhee, seeing the same temptation in her eyes you felt in yourself, and you accepted, letting them know you’d be coming.
The rest of the time is a blur–enjoying the presence of the music, eating, drinking, enjoying your first night out in a long time–and you feel a body against yours. You turn your head to see Joshua, finding the warmth of his strong, thick body lost in yours. You indulge, feeling the sweet release of liquor on your tongue and allowing him to roam your body with no protest.
You let a few moans slip, his hand automatically creeping over your waist. He grins angelically, but him on you feels like a constant devil on your shoulder. “You’ll make it, right? I’ll only come into work that night for you.”
You giggle like he said the funniest thing in the world, turning to face him and putting your hands over his shoulders, staring into his big eyes. “I promise.”
He holds you close that night, like Mingyu should’ve, but it does not breach the point of dancing. You appreciated that. When the night came to a close, you and Minhee got your UBER home. You wave away that kept you both company tonight and come back to Kim's residence a little lighter. Mingyu was nowhere in sight when you got home, so you drag Minhee up the stairs before that happens.
It takes a minute to wash her up, but eventually she gets into bed, and falls into a peaceful slumber. You were ready to have your turn. Peeling off your clothes, washing your face, and showering everything off was going to feel like a reset. You weren’t going to let the disappointment from today dictate the rest of your summer. Kim Mingyu was not why you came here. You were here to have the time of your life with your closest friend.
Walking out in the hallway to retrieve toiletries and extra clothes, there he stood. Shirtless–of course, he was–tan, taut, large. This man was a fucking mountain. He drags himself over to you in his gray sweats. “You’re both home late.”
“Night got away, sorry.” You weren’t sorry.
“As long as you’re both safe,” he grins kindly, “How's your hand?”
You bring it up in the air for him to see. “Perfectly fine. Didn't even feel it.”
Doubtful, he gets to grab it, ignoring your feeble protest. He turns it from front to back, stepping closer to you, shooting electricity throughout your body. The longer he lingers in your proximity, another one of his senses takes over. Nose stifling breaths, he’s leaning in, inhaling the scent on your body. You feel heat running up to your cheeks, flustered by his sudden urgency. “Do you always wear men’s cologne?”
Confusion displays on your face. You pick up the top hem of your blouse for a quick sniff and there it was, the scent he was referring to. Some concoction of sea breeze and sage lightly coated your clothes. Must’ve been Joshua. “Probably caught it from someone from the bar we went to.”
“You met someone?” He asks plainly.
You shrug, an unsure smile on your face. “I don’t know.”
There’s an unreadable look on his face you catch until it turns solemn, dropping your hand. “Get some rest.”
He trots off to his own room, his dark figure shrinking as he gets further away. You take a long sigh the moment he’s gone from sight, wallowing in that sinking sensation of knowing what had happened this afternoon. The position you place yourself in, the position he placed himself, was over.
After showering, you went to bed hoping the next day would be better. You shouldn’t have been sad. You had a decent night. Drank loads, danced all night long, mingled with people you don't feel guilty about. And tomorrow will be a new day.
Morning is spent with a Kim’s style breakfast, which means an abundance of anything they can make with leftover ingredients from the kitchen. Mingyu was bright and early along with Minhee, and she didn’t look like she lost one hour of sleep that night. She greets you as friendly as always and Mingyu follows.
You join the meal in silence, playing off as recovering from the night before–which wasn’t wrong–and eat your portion, feeling it fuel the unruly mood you were in. Damn, he was a good cook.
“You girls have anything fun to do today?”
Minhee answers with utter delight. “I’m taking Y/n to this other bar we were recommended last night.”
You nod in compliance with that.
“Well, if that’s all, why don’t we go grocery shopping? I’ve been setting all kinds of guest stuff at the house but forgot to stock up the fridge. You and Y/n can pick out whatever you need. I’ll pay.”
You look up, stopping him. “You don’t have to do that.”
He shares that kind of look he gives when he’s in front of his daughter, but a ghost of the lusty gaze was still fresh in your mind. “I’m not forcing myself to do anything. Just hoping to be a welcoming host. Think of it as a family outing. You get to be one of us.”
Minhee snorts at that. “Could you be anymore of a dad?”
“So what I’m hearing is you don’t want free snacks and sodas to have at the house?” He reiterates in hopes of tempting her.
“Well, I didn't say that.”
Mingyu laughs, turning back to you. “So?”
“Sure.” You respond with a forced smile.
Minhee made no concern about making a dent in Mingyu’s wallet and if he minded, he didn’t show it. You figured with the big house they have that this would be no different from a kid in a candy store seeing her spring everywhere and excited to show you local products only sold at this specific market. You would giggle at anything and all comments she’s made coming across something out of the ordinary and Mingyu would trail behind with his full cart like the dad he is.
“Oh my god, I think I just saw someone! You and dad, wait here. I’ll be right back.”
Minhee trots off by herself, leaving you and Mingyu alone again in your awkward silence. Having nothing to say, you didn’t, and you assumed he wouldn’t either.
“I don’t want things to be weird,” he starts, “it was a lapse of judgment on my part.”
“Mingyu, please,” you whisper, “she’s ten feet away from us.”
“And I just wanted to make sure you’re okay,” he leads the cart so he’s walking beside you, towering over you like the skyscraper he was, “Coming on to you wasn’t the plan. Minhee respects you, cares about you. And why wouldn’t she? You’re amazing.”
You shirt under his words, dismissing it when you throw a family size bag of ruffle chips in the car. “Been wanting these.”
“I’m just sorry. I’ve clearly bothered you, disrespected you, and I didn’t intend for any of that.”
“Why are you saying this now,” you ask in a hushed tone, causing him to stop the wheels, “what are you even doing?”
He sighs, dropping his head in embarrassment, unsure either, but it seems as if he wanted to clear the tense air. You appreciated it. Most men that have done way more than what he did would’ve flat out ignored you regardless of the situation. Ghosting became a globalized norm. Mingyu’s confrontation, although stress-inducing, was somewhat refreshing. Different from previous men you’ve had relations with, platonic or not.
“Minhee is the most important thing in my life and you are someone very special to her, more than you know.”
You nod in agreement, understanding his sentiment. “She’s special to me. My best friend even.”
Mingyu sighs in relief. “So, we’ll forget what we had happened?”
“Forget what happened?” You grin in the end.
He smiles back, looking up as Minhee reunites with you and you feel as if things are back to normal. Minhee is still your closest friend. Mingyu is just her hot dad. And that’s it. That was that. You were fine thinking that for the rest of the summer.
The rest of the day was all leisure right up until the evening. As the light outside dimmed,  You and Minhee were getting ready to go out again. The attire was slightly more done up than the previous night, boosting your confidence. You added a dark shadow paired with tighter clothes and Minhee couldn’t help but gush at your appearance. Loving this girl was too easy. You trade her the same excitement and bounced together in the anticipation of another exciting night.
You followed her downstairs, ready to leave, and Mingyu the last thing you see before you make your way to the door. “Have fun! Be safe.”
Leaving with a new life on lease, that seems to change when catch a glimpse at his face shutting the door. The darkness in his eyes, how they scan from up and down your body in a swift lick, burned in your memory. And you once again feel that feeting excitement he graced you once with.
You made good on your promise to the guys from the other night, and they were one of the first few faces you see as you enter. You join them, getting the free drinks they swore to give and experience more of the night life. Compared to the previous bar, this had been much more lively, rowdy, touchy. You made sure to be careful, carrying both your and Minhee’s drinks with hands hovering over their open lips. Minhee gathers her less than sober self to go to the restroom, insisting there's no need for you to come and that’d she’d be fine.
“Are you sure?” you ask in concern, and she repeats herself, pointedly shifting her eyes to the man behind you in mischief as she makes her escape.
Joshua meets your side similarly to last night, grinning that gorgeous grin, looking back at you with those pretty brown eyes, and large hands traveling over your body in a practiced-movement. “I was happy to see you came.”
“Oh?” you smile back, hands over his neck.
The small distance between you both leaves so little to the imagination and feeds some of that intimacy you’ve craved since coming to this part of town. You don’t look at him to know he wants you. From the way he cradles your sides, coming down‌ your shape, to how his hips lightly dip back to yours sensually, generously. You press up to his body in need, believing you want it too, but when you test your limits, you’re faced with reality.
The moment your lips meet, you hope to feel something–anything–but in the back of your mind a voice taunts you. It laughs back at you. Pressing the big red X button like it was broadcasted talent show.
It was a nice kiss. Somewhat decent, with nothing inherently wrong with it. But it didn't leave you wanting more.
‘He could never be him.’
You part from him abruptly and‌ in a few words of apology he understood, stepping back with a small smile. How you wish it could’ve been him. It would’ve been so much easier if it were him.
You go off to find Minhee, searching for her up and down. Going to the restroom couldn’t have taken that long, then there she was, dancing on the small stage right by the DJ. Everyone cheered for her as she did her performance, as did you, but it all came to a close as she tumbled right off, hitting the ground and landing on her side.
“Minhee!”
No limps were broken, no twisted ankle, or broken ribs, but drunk off her rocker, and it's proven true as you hear her slurring her words. You lightly slap sides of her face to gain back her consciousness. Not even seeing her flinch, you knew she was long gone.
“You probably get her back home safe in bed,” Jeonghan says stepping in.
You conceded, apologizing another time this night for things that should’ve been in your control. Mingyu was going to hate you for this, but you needed her home safe.
You wave at the male duo and a few other friends you made from the cab and tend to Minhee as she loses to sleep. You amble on to carry her weight back to the house, shuffling through her keys to reach past the door. Making too much noise and taking too long to find the right key, it open from teh other side, meeting Mingyu who stares back at you with startled eyes.
“What happened to her?”
There’s a calm fury in his voice, and guilt festers in the pit of your stomach. “Help, please. I’m sorry.”
He comes to Minhee’s other side, grumbling to himself as he helps guide her upstairs. She drops on her bed in heavy plop, her snores following. You both tiptoe towards the door and shut it quietly, not wanting to disturb her.
“Now, I repeat, what the hell happened?”
He had every right to be angry. You did this, you could’ve prevented this.
He lets you a deep exhale, quietly shouting his daughter's name in anguish. “Minhee, what the fuck?”
“She drank too much,” you admit, “She left to go to the restroom. I should’ve gone with her.”
“You think? You both could’ve gotten severely hurt, or worse.”
“Mingyu, I'm so sorry.”
He takes a moment of silence. “It’s not entirely your fault. Minhee overexerts herself sometimes. forces her to let loose twice as hard to make up for it. I wonder if I taught her that.”
“No, of course not. I'm her best friend. I should’ve kept an eye on her.”
“You were there to have fun, not babysit. Look, Minhee may be that right now but it’s because I couldn’t support her properly, because of me she has developed these unhealthy habits.” he sighs. “Though, after the divorce, I wonder if I was ever a good father.”
You tug at him in disbelief. “You’re a great dad! Minhee loves you so much. She talks about you all the time. “
His gaze softens, pulling lightly at his t-shirt, “She does?”
“Yes, like how you cook for her on sick days so that she recovers twice as fast. Or when she was little, she made a scrapbook out of the little lunch notes you made her. Or when you confronted her boyfriend at that picnic, getting in his face and yelling at him. Yeah, she was embarrassed, but she was more relieved that it got out there at all. You are the person she loves the most. You’re so amazing and sweet and kind…Mingyu, I don’t want to forget about yesterday.”
His eyes harden at your shift of tone. “Y/n, you promised–”
“Yeah, well, that was before yesterday when I didn’t think I had a chance with someone like you.”
You draw yourself closer to him, closing the gap, feeling him fall weak for a moment, reciprocating. His lips were plush and sweet as you hoped, stark in contrast to his firm torso you felt through his shirt. He pulls away, holding you at a distance.
“Y/n, we can’t—“
“I kissed someone tonight.”
He immediately tenses up, his hand overlapping around your wrist, speaking in a lethally soft voice. “What?”
“We danced, got super close, and we kissed.”
The moment you mention it, Mingyu immediately smells it. The dreaded cologne. He takes it in once again and grits his teeth in anger. Jealously quickly become a evil on his shoulder. “Same bastard?”
“Yes,” you breathe out, “but I wanted him to be you. I can't stop thinking ab—“
His lips fits over yours, his hand pressing into the arch of your back. He kisses you with so much carnal rage you can taste blood on your tongue and he launches you from the ground and around his waist. You dig your fingers into his scalp, kissing him deep, whimpers leaving your lips like a needy puppy.
“Not here,” he quickly states, before carrying you off to a room at the end of the hall. Fuck, was this a large house.
Once the door locks behind him, not bothering to turn on the lights in the almost pitch black of night, he takes your lips to feel his unadulterated power as he pins you to a wall. “Mingyu—“
“I’m not speaking to you, so you can forget about hearing a response.”
With much struggle, he pulls your panties out, or should you say tears it off of you as it drops tattered to the ground. That was fine. You can buy a million pieces of underwear, but there was only one Kim Mingyu. His pants fall abandoned on the ground, revealing his cock gloriously rock hard below you, looking even aesthetically beautiful with the moonlight peeking out from the window.
“You can speak now. Do you want me to fuck you, Y/n?” he asks menacingly, almost daring you to answer.
“Yes, Mingyu, please fuck me.”
He leverages you on the wall, fishing a condom out of a nearby drawer. Rolling it on, he lines it against your slit before he makes himself known. Your eyes roll back at the stretch, fingers digging into his shoulder as he bounces you on his cock.
“Oh, fuck,” you moan.
“You’re so wet, s-shit.”
Mingyu throws back his head, immersed in the warmth radiating off your walls and he lets your moans take him to another world. In a haste decision, he slips your dress over your head before tossing it. He mouths at your tits, plump and stiff between his lips, and he hurdles a deeper round of thrusts inside you.
When you get a little too loud, his hand comes over to clamp your mouth, wolf like eyes staring back at you, “Shut it. You don’t deserve to speak.”
His thin white tee that stays a barrier between you and him does not hide the rippling body underneath that seemed to be sculpted by gods. He presses into you, grunting, using you like his personal sex doll and you embrace it, thrived from it, came to it. Your hips contract, slewing in perfect circles, before having your legs fall gradually lifeless as you arousal drip down your thighs.
He pays your climax no mind, pushing you off the wall and pushing you into the sheets face down. You could muffle your screams of pleasure easier here. Turning your head back to face him, you notice now he’s shirtless–taut and shiny from sweat like a large set of Hawaiian rolls–before seeing how quick he is to fit back inside you.
“You can look, but remember. Stay quiet. Got it?”
You nod back, obeying, biting into the duvet.
“Good girl.” His husky voice resonates and pushes you back into the sheets.
His grunts and sounds of skins slapping are all you hear as he pounds you back into the bed. It feels like heaven beneath his weight. You were feeling flushed to the touch, but making contact with his skin was like an inferno. He was the embodiment of heat and as suffocating as that could've been, it melts you like it’s how it always should’ve been.
His pace eventually falters, followed by a hushed “fuck,” and he empties out into the rubber. The moment he pulls out, it’s over. It’s truly over. You knew it’d happen that way but the pain didn’t feel any less real.
“Wash up and get to bed before Minhee sees.”
The door shuts and once again, you’re all alone.
In that shower, you sob, washing away the remaining grime, filth, guilt. And after everything that’s happened, you still hoped he’d fuck you like that again.
The next few days goes by and you don’t get that opportunity again. Instead, Minhee took up most of your days. You’d go to the market, watch movies, meet her friends and make them your own, grabbing take out and dinner reservations until you’ve scoured every part of town. And Mingyu, well, he’s staying on the sidelines, observing, never mentioning the your night of intimacy.
You hide it through smiles, good food, good company, but you dying on the inside, thinking to yourself how things got this way.
You missed his body, his warmth, his cock fucking you recklessly, not caring if he breaks you. The guilt you had once for betraying Minhee deteriorated over time, replaced with Mingyu, and just Mingyu.
That’s then you made an opportunity. You just need Minhee out. Calling up the friends you made in the area, you arranged a time and place she'd be for an extended time without you. Your reason for staying in: medical program information. You expected her to understand, and once you told her, you were proven right.
She left as soon as your mutual friend had arrived, waving you off as she entered the car. An unsuspecting smile on her face before she closes the car door. What she won’t know won’t hurt her.
Now was the moment to put it to action. You’d have it that Mingyu couldn’t run, couldn’t avoid you, couldn’t ignore you. And you only had a few minutes until he got back from his run.
Hastily, you slip out of your modest clothes before getting into a skimpy one, deliberately showing off your assets. You take your place on the couch to wait, using channel surfing as a way to pass time.
Hearing the sound footsteps coming up the front door made your heart race, immediately going to position yourself at the entrance. When Mingyu opens to see you on the other side, he could hear his heart drop at your ensemble. His eyes fell immediately at every tiny piece of clothing barely covering you body, feeling his member harder quickly. He quickly shuts the door before anyone else can see what he’s forced to and glares at you. “What is this?”
“Welcome home, Mr. Kim.” you answer cheekily.
“Ming—where’s Minhee?” He shoulders past you, getting to the kitchen to get a drink.
“Out,” you answer, bouncing behind him shamelessly, “I told her I had something to do while she’s gone so I could stay behind.”
“Do what,” he grits, slamming the plastic bottle on the counter, “lie to her, do something that might hurt her behind her back?”
It stings, it really did, but you lacked more morals than you realized.
“It was the only way I could get you alone.” you step in front of him, twiddling your fingers.
“What is it you want, Y/n? Haven’t you done enough to me?”
You blink at him knowingly, thinking how dare he could play a victim. “You know better than anyone that it was a two-person job. We both wanted it.”
He rolls his eyes, annoyed, “Well, it was a mistake, and I should’ve quit while I was ahead.”
“I want more, Mingyu.”
He squeezed his eyes tight, slamming the empty bottle to the floor before responding, “Why are you being like this? What is wrong with you?”
He’s angry and rightfully so, but you wanted him, so badly you’d fight for it. No one–not even Minhee–at this point could stop you.
You latch on to him, not missing his lips. You pull yourself against his sweaty, musky form until you can feel the outline of his body on yours. He forces himself to pull away with a rough tug. There’s a moment of bizarreness on his face before giving in and reconnecting your lips, furiously kissing you as he places you on the kitchen counter. His tongue is quick to find yours and pulling your top over your breasts to play with them, squeezing them harshly in his hand before tweaking your stiff peaks between his fingers.
“Mmh, daddy…please, please fuck me.”
Mingyu pauses, returning twice as rough, pressing into the sopping core that seeps out your shorts, eliciting a whine from your end. The waistband of his sweats grinds into you like he’s a machine: starved, automated, merciless.
“You want me to fuck that bad? Hmm?” He tucks your legs around him, digging in you deeper, slapping the skin of your thigh that reached your ass. “You’re gonna be a good‌ for me to use? Let me fill you up with my cock?”
“Yes, I want your cock fucking me, please,” you plead in a high-pitched voice.
“Fine. This time and never again.” he lifts you off the counter and takes you to his room. Dumping you in bed, he pulls his muscle tank off and rips off your shorts from your body.
Right then and there, he claims the heat between your legs after spitting right into the center. He devours you, jaw gripping from the underside of your folds as his tongue runs rampant in your core. His face is damp in the matter of seconds, but your nectar is all he can think about as he fists his erection through his sweatpants.
“Daddy, your mouth is so good…you’re eating me so good.”
A hand comes on the skin of your thigh again, coming as both a warning and encouragement. He gets lost in you, inhaling you, falling weak at you. He swore he never would again. He’s already done enough thinking about you from that one picnic. The way your hair bounces in the light or how your clothes hug your body as a gust of wind blows past you. You radiated such light in stark contrast to the weak, needy beauty before him. It was on so many levels wrong, but he pointed it to all factors of being sex deprived. Of course, it was normal to find a younger attractive woman sexy. She was an adult, but wasted on him finding out how closely you work with his kid, the kids he loves so much and would kill for.
But you. God, damn it, you. He wanted you just for a second and he took it, only for you to come back wanting more. A mirror image of himself. Unlike his initial findings, he has more in common with you than he thought.
“I’m close daddy!”
His tongue runs faster, harder, feeling the taste of your core go from one taste to another, feeling the cum coat his mouth like liquid gold. With a last jerk to your legs, he moves over to tower at you, prying your mouth open and dropping your fluid in your mouth, seeing it seep out of the corner of your lips before kissing you. He drags the taste around, gripping you by the chin, grunting in your mouth.
He kicks off his sweats, pulling you up by the arm, and allows you to straddle his lap. His cock prods at your stomach, flicking back at the soft section of your stomach. You run your fingers through hair, hovering on top of him, mere atoms away from putting him in you. You had the mind to ask breathlessly, “Condom?”
“I’d have to get up.”
A quick moment of panic runs through your mind. “I’m clean, but–”
“I’ll pull out. And cum anywhere else.”
You take a hard gulp, but give a definite nod. Not letting go of his embrace, allow the round tip to slide over your wet slit–sweet mewls leaving your lips–before you let your walls hug around his raw girth. Initially frightening, given that you weren’t willing to take this kind of risk before–you were a med student and staying safe and clean was rule one–but every inch cover around your walls stretches euphorically.
You let out an anguished moan adjusting to his size, but with how wet you are, it wouldn’t be a problem for long. You roll your hips down, taking him all of him, incomprehensive mumbles leaving your lips while taking strikes against your ass, stinging with every touch. “Being such a good girl for me, letting me fuck you…”
He squeezes the flesh of your cheek, teeth pulling on the bottom of your lip. “It’s my pleasure, daddy…”
God, you loved it, every second.
Minutes passed and he’s only pushed harder, plunge deeper, filling in that crevice of yours until you’re spent all over his bed. He bruises you, bites you, swelling your skin. He finally let go of all the inhibitions that once held him back. That’s when he gets close, cursing under his breath. You fall back on the bed as he pulls out, thick white ribbons shooting thin in the air to cascade over your face and chest, even on your tongue. He pants hard, unable to tear away from the decadent view he’s witnessing. You are usually lovely beyond compare, but you were absolutely breath-taking adorned by his cum.
He had to have more of you.
Although he told himself it’d be the last, that was far from the truth. Since that day, he took every opportunity to have you and without a word of defiance against you. You had your days with Minhee: breakfast, brunch, lunch, sometimes dinner. But he had you at nights, or at days the house was empty. He made it last. All of it. All of you.
Eventually, as school started up again, you’d have to leave, and he gave you one last moment in the shower to commemorate it, putting an end to this summer fling.
Despite missing Mingyu, you were excited to get back on track. You set your back in your newly leased apartment, smiling back at the memories you’ve made in the time you were away. As you were putting away the last of the things from your disgustingly big sack, your phone goes off, Minhee’s name brightly lit on the screen.
“Hey, Minhee. I just got in,” you greet grinning.
“Aw, that’s good. I think you left something behind, though.”
“Shoot,” You shuffle through your belongings, trying to think what that thing could be. “What did I leave?”
“Hard to tell, I think it’s…the truth?”
Your eyes shoot open at the sudden hostility in her voice. “Minhee, I—“
“Are you fucking my dad, you bitch?”

COOK OUT - c. sturniolo
chris x black !fem reader
in which chris is invited to the reader’s yearly family cook out
warnings: none, just fluff
Tumblr media
-
“okay, how do i look?” your focus shifted from your phone, to your boyfriend standing in front of you. he did a little spin to show off his outfit which made you laugh.
“babe you look fine, i told you this like five times now.” you sighed before getting up from the couch, while adjusting your dress.
“i know…i just,” chris sighed before continuing. “i just want everyone to like me.”
you frowned as you saw how anxious your boyfriend seemed. you cupped his face with both of your hands before smushing them together, eliciting a smile from the brunette.
“they’ll love you babe, now lets go.”
-
as you chris drew nearer to the entrance to the backyard, the music got louder, and chris’ nerves seemed to increase as well.
you took his hand in yours and intertwined your fingers. “we can always go home, i’ll say you’re sick or something.” you say worried your boyfriend will be uncomfortable but chris quickly shook his head to the idea.
“no baby, i want to meet everyone, and i want to see you around the people that make you happy.” you softly smiled, before leaning up to give chris a big ol smooch on the cheek. he knew how family oriented you could be, and how these barbecues were a chance to bring everyone you loved together.
you two made your way through the gate of your parents house. you began to introduce chris to a lot of your aunties and uncles that were scattered across the lawn. each of them were dying to see the boy you brought back home.
after all the introductions, you made your way inside to the kitchen, where your parents were cooking up some more delicious food.
chris had already met your parents, from various holidays and vacations, so to say the least they were more than comfortable with each other.
“my y/n, chris!” your mom exclaimed as she put a spoon down before making her way to the both of you. giving you both hugs and a few pecks on your faces.
your dad was next to greet you two as he embraced you both in a tight hug. “oh, chris, come help me flip these burgers while you’re here!” your dad said while passing chris a spatula and some paper plates.
you roll your eyes playfully. “dad, we just got here!” you laugh as your dad began to lead chris out the kitchen.
your dad simply shoo’d you off before reassuring you. “oh he’ll be fine, cmon boy.”
you gave chris an apologetic smile and he could only laugh before giving you a kiss goodbye. he followed your dad outback to help him prepare more food to serve to the guests. truthfully, he loved this. he felt like this was the best way to bond with everyone around him.
you could already see from the kitchen window the amount of uncles surrounding him at the grill. probably asking him a bunch of questions, and popping a few jokes here and there.
you also made your way outback but instead, you went to go rest at the lounge chairs where your cousins were hanging out.
you all caught up and a few of them even asked about chris here and there. complimenting him and his burger making skills which you were amused to hear.
after a while, you excused yourself to get a burger for yourself to eat. you made your way over to chris with a paper plate in hand. chris seemed to be having a conversation with one of your guy cousins but he excused himself when he saw you making your way towards him.
“you okay, baby?” he asks while adding more stuff to the grill.
“yeah, i just wanted to try a burger ‘cus everyone is talking about them.” you say while smiling and holding your plate out.
“like good talk, or bad talk?” chris asks playfully while placing a burger on your plate, before grabbing two buns to assemble your burger with.
“if it was bad talk you wouldn’t even be here anymore.” you laugh while taking back your plate.
“well i’ll be done in a few, i’ll come join you over there okay?” you nodded before turning around to make your way back to your seat.
-
about 2 hours went by with you and chris at the party. your dad finally let the poor boy go from the grill and you could finally spend sometime with each other.
chris was amazing from talking to the elderly, to even bonding with the little kids. even the grumpy teenagers were intrigued by him.
you yawned as you rose from your seat. “well, i think its time for us to go guys.” your little cousins groaned at this, not ready to say goodbye to their newfound best friend, chris.
after they bid their goodbyes, you two made way to say goodbye to everyone else. you got a lot of aunties telling you that you made a good choice with chris and hopefully he’s here to say to which you respond with a chuckle and a ‘definitely.” while chris got a lot of uncles dapping him up and bringing him into a hug as well.
your parents walked you two to your car and gave you both a goodbye hug.
“he’s coming next year right?” your dad asks almost immediately the hug ended. you and chris could only laugh and nod.
your parents waved goodbye as they watched your car drive off.
you couldn’t stop yourself from smiling in the passenger seat (yes chris can drive in this), which chris notices.
he takes one hand off the steering wheel and rests it on your thigh. you looked at him as you held his hand in yours. chris could feel your eyes lingering for a second more than usual.
“what?” he questions, not being able to hide the smile that was tugging at his lips.
“oh nothing..i just really love you.”

hi! i don’t know if you take requests/fic suggestions (if not feel free to ignore), but i love your writing (where the heart is ruined me in the best way!!) and thought you would write this idea super well. basically i saw this instagram reel (and watched it on repeat like 10 times) where a dad tells a waiter that his daughter thinks he’s cute and i thought it could be a cute meet-cute-scenario for eddie (or steve if you write for him)! that’s pretty much it lol, i hope you’re having a good day!
https://www.instagram.com/reel/CmXJ1_zL9F7/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=
This may just be the cutest request I've ever gotten. I enjoyed writing this so so so much. I have to thank @munson-blurbs for suggesting I make the reader Hopper's daughter and adding another layer of hilarity to it for me. Fun fact, this scenario happened to my brother once. Only he was like, 11, so nothing was going to come from it and it was just purely my dad trying to embarrass him lol. Anyway, I really hope you enjoy this!

Tumblr media
“Hey, welcome to Breadstix. My name is Eddie and I’ll be your waiter.”
You look up from your menu and do a double take at the beautiful man standing there. He’s tall and thin, his black t-shirt showing off his tiny waist and the light jeans showcasing the length of his legs. He has brown curly hair tucked in a bun at the nape of his neck, with a few loose frizzy pieces framing his face. The tattoos that are scattered along his arms catch your attention; your eyes being particularly drawn to the colony of bats taking flight on his forearm. But it’s when you look into his eyes that you get lightheaded and forget your own name, let alone what you were going to order for dinner.
Going out for a family dinner with your dad and sister was never something that was particularly exciting, but it just got a hell of a whole lot better.
“The special today is the brown sugar pork chops with a sweet potato on the side.”
“Huh,” your dad hums, eyes scanning over the menu once more. “That sounds good. I’ll take the special and a coke.”
Eddie takes down the pen that’s tucked behind his ear and scribbles down on the pad in his hand. He looks at your sister next and she gives him a sweet smile.
“For you?” Eddie asks.
“I’ll have the mushroom and Swiss burger, please,” El says. “And a water.”
He jots that down as well then turns to you. When his eyes land on you, your mouth goes dry. Eddie shoots you a smile and you swear your stomach is too full of butterflies to eat any food.
“And what can I get for you?” Eddie asks.
A cold shower? A date? An orgasm?
“Um, I’ll have the spaghetti and meatballs. A-And a Diet Coke,” you manage to get out.
“Ah, my favorite,” Eddie says with a wink that nearly kills you as he writes your order down. “I’ll put those right in for you.”
He walks away from the table, and you feel your body deflate, letting out a breath and finally relaxing. You drop your head down on the table to hide the smile spread across your lips.
“What’s with you?” your dad asks.
“Hmm?” You lift your head up and look at him. El is giggling in her seat next to you, clearly knowing why you’re acting strange and bubbly.
“What’s with this sudden…mood change?” Your dad waves his hand around in front of your face, gesturing to your dopey expression.
“I know,” El snickers and you reach over to playfully shove her. Your dad leans back in his chair, crossing his arms over his chest as he watches the two of you. He raises his eyebrows at you girls as you nudge one another back and forth with your elbows.
“Well shit, someone slipped something into your Wheaties this morning,” he says.
But your dad isn’t dumb. As chief of police, things rarely escaped his notice. He’s just waiting to see if you’ll cop to it or not.
“No, it’s just…” You trail off, shaking your head.
“It’s what?”
A red flush comes to your face and El covers her mouth as she lets out another giggle.
“He’s so cute.”
“Who?” Hopper asks, just flat out playing dumb now.
“The waiter!” you say in exasperation.
“Eddie.” El says his name, leaning in towards you and wiggling her eyebrows.
“Ah,” your dad says with a laugh. “That’s your type, huh?”
“Dad!” you admonish, face becoming even redder.
He lifts his hands in surrender as El dissolves into laughter. Before, you wouldn’t have described yourself as having a “type” but after seeing Eddie, you can’t imagine having a type that didn’t look like him. It was hard to pick out one thing that turned you on about him the most. The package of Eddie as a whole was so overwhelming that you could practically feel the sharp stab of Cupid’s arrow jammed in your back.
You spot Eddie approaching with the drinks, so you swat at El to get her to behave. She bites her lip and stares down at the scuffed wooden table in front of her, so she doesn’t lose it again.
“Here we go. Water, coke, and a Diet Coke. Your dinner should be coming out soon,” Eddie says. “Everything okay here?”
You’re praying your dad keeps his mouth shut as you smile and nod your head at Eddie. When he gives you a smile in return, El covers a laugh by pretending to cough into her hand. You’d throttle her when you got home. Hopper seems to pay Eddie no more mind than he would any other waitstaff that his oldest daughter didn’t find absolutely beautiful.
After Eddie leaves again, conversation thankfully steers away from your romantic inclinations and into the topic of ridiculous calls that came in at the station today. El also tells you about a school project that’s coming up and tells your dad she needs to get a book for her next book report at the library. It’d be easy to think that your father forgot all about your attraction to your waiter, but when Eddie comes to deliver your meals, it’s obvious he didn’t. Sometimes the universe just liked to pull the rug out from underneath you.
“Alright,” Eddie says. He’s balancing the large tray carrying your plates on one hand, muscles rippling under the skin of his arm as he holds it up. The only thing that tears your eyes away from his bicep is when he places your dish down in front of you. “Anything else I can get you guys?”
“I think we’re all set,” your dad says. Eddie nods and tucks the tray under his arm. As he goes to turn away from the table, Hopper lifts his hand and swivels towards Eddie. “Oh, one thing.”
Eddie licks his lips as he spins back towards the table, a friendly smile on his face. “What can I get you?”
“Oh no, nothing,” your dad says with a shake of his head. “It’s just that my daughter here thinks you’re very cute.” He reaches over and pats you on the back so there’s no mistaking which one of his children he’s talking about.
“Dad!”
El bursts out into laughter as you raise your hands to cover your face, wanting to die on the spot. The heat in your cheeks is enough to make sweat break out along your hairline, only made worse by how fast your heart is pounding. The adrenaline rush flooding your veins is real. Being a high school student, you’ve been embarrassed plenty of times before in your life, but you think this takes the cake. Having the police chief as a father also came with its own moments of teasing and joking, but this seemed extreme even for him. Somewhere deep inside, you find the courage to peek at Eddie from between your fingers. There’s a shy smile on his face as he looks at you, his own cheeks dusted in a light bit of pink.
“Well, that’s very sweet,” Eddie finally says, resting his hand over his heart. He opens his mouth again, but nothing comes out and you realize that not only did your dad put you on the spot, but Eddie as well. “I’m flattered.”
Slowly your hands fall from your face and into your lap. Peering up at Eddie from under your eyelashes, he dips his gaze quickly before meeting yours again. The smile on his pretty mouth makes you feel as if there’s an animal jumping and banging around inside your heart, trying to break free.
“Let me know if there’s anything else I can get for you,” Eddie says before walking away.
Part of you feels a bit disheartened. But what did you expect? Eddie to ask you on a date because your father told him you’re attracted to him? Right in the middle of his shift? God, your dad better give him a big tip on the check.
“You’re the worst,” you mumble as you twirl some spaghetti onto your fork. But there’s a fond smile on your face as you shoot a glare at the chief.
Eddie comes by twice more while you’re eating to see if everything is okay, and both times you can barely meet his gaze. El thinks it’s all hilarious and has a grin on her face for the rest of dinner.
Once everyone is finished and your and El’s leftovers are boxed up, Eddie comes over with the bill. You expect him to put it down on the table right in front of your father, but he walks around him to come up behind you and reaches over our shoulder to lay the check down right in front of you.
“I figured you’d be taking care of this,” he says. You can’t see him from where he’s standing behind you, but El catches sight of the smirk on his face and her expression lights up in glee.
It’s hard to concentrate on anything with Eddie standing so close to you that you can smell the trace of cigarettes under a spicy cologne wafting over you. When he speaks, the scent of mint is added into the mix, so you assume he’s chewing a stick of gum and you’ve never been more jealous of a piece of candy in your life.
When Eddie walks away, you have to fight the urge to reach out and grab onto him and make him stay. El moving the check in front of you snaps your attention back to the task staring you in the face. You give El’s hand a light smack so she drops the slip of paper. You’re able to snatch it up and hold it up to your face so El can’t read it from where she’s sitting.
I hope your dad is currently unarmed since I’d like to say that I think his older daughter is very beautiful. And inquire if she might like to go on a date with me? 555-0527 xoxo - Eddie
Your wide eyes can’t believe what you’re reading. It takes a minute for it to click in your brain what you’re actually looking at. The smile spreads across your lips next, making your cheeks ache from the intensity of your grin.
When the paper gets plucked from your fingers you whine and furrow your brow at your father.
“What, you going to pay?” he asks as he digs for his money in his wallet.
“No. But I was reading that,” you say.
“Well hang on, I gotta know how much to leave don’t I? You can kiss his phone number once I’m done.”
The blush flares up on your face at his words. You weren’t going to actually kiss the paper. But the fact that said paper could lead to a kiss is what’s got you so wound up. Hopper slaps some bills down on the table and hands you the precious check back. You securely fold it and clutch it in your hands, afraid to let it out of your sight for even a moment. El grabs the takeaway boxes and the three of you head towards the door. As you take one last look over your shoulder into the restaurant, you see Eddie coming out of the kitchen. His eyes lock with yours and he gives you that smile you swear could stop time.
“Maybe I should embarrass you more often, huh?” Hopper says from behind you.
“No!” you and El answer in unison.
“I’ll be right back,” you say, glancing back at your family.
“We’ll be outside,” your dad says.
“Have fun,” El adds with a smirk before she follows your dad out the door.
Taking a deep breath to relax your system, you start to walk over towards Eddie.
“Hey,” he says once you’re standing in front of him.
“Hi. Look, I’m sorry if you felt embarrassed or put on the spot. He can be a bit much sometimes.”
“No, no,” Eddie assures you with a shake of his head. “First thing I thought when I walked over to your table tonight was how beautiful you are. The Chief kind of did me a favor, actually.”
“Oh. Well, I’m glad then,” you say, face glowing from his compliment.
“I take it you got my note?” Eddie asks, reaching up to scratch the back of his head.
“I did,” you say, still clutching it in your hands. “And I, uh, would like to go on a date with you. So, I’ll definitely call.”
“I get off work at nine,” he tells you.
“You’ll hear from me soon after that then,” you say with a shy shrug of the shoulders.
“I’m really looking forward to it, uh…”
He trails off and you realize it’s because he doesn’t know your name. You introduce yourself to him and extend your hand. Instead of shaking it, like you expected, he takes your hand in his and leans in to press his lips against your knuckles. You’re pretty sure you’re going to spontaneously combust. Or have an aneurysm. Or just flat out melt into a puddle on the floor.
“I’ll talk to you tonight then,” Eddie says.
“Tonight,” you repeat, slowly backing away from him. You don’t want to go, but you know your dad will come in and say something even more embarrassing than he already did if you make him wait too long.
“Bye, Eddie.”
“Bye, beautiful.”

Nick Jonas Fattening Holiday
Nick had just finished a huge world tour with his brothers and was extremely exhausted. He knew he needed a long break from it all, and so he planned to get away on a boat, just for him to relax on.
Before he went, he was clearing out his dressing room. When he stumbled across a box that was on his dresser. He hadn't seen this box before so he was very intrigued as to what it was. He saw their was a note on the box so read it. The note read "These are to help you relax on your break. Hope it fills your needs - J" How odd Nick thought. But still interested he opened the box. In the box was a perfectly round, pink, shiny and sweet doughnut. The sweet smell hit him in the face and his mouth instantly started watering. He thought how nice it was to whoever gave him this to leave it for him. He picked up the doughnut and took a huge bite of it. The sweet icing and the pillowing pastry just melted in his mouth. It was the best thing he ever tasted in his life. Without even realising he had already finished the doughnut. He licked his fingers and then binned the box, very satisfied with the sweet treat left for him. After cleaning and getting home, Nick undressed ready for bed as he had a lot of travelling to do the next day. As he slipped off his shirt and noticed how bloated his belly looked.
Tumblr media
He rubbed his belly with his hand feeling the hairs along its bloated surface. He shrugged off the extended gut as him just over eating today and he relaxed into his bed. He wasn't put off by his bigger stomach at all, in fact it felt nice and warm, but he knew it would go down by the morning.
However by the morning his stomach had in fact not gone down. As he groaned and stretched getting out of bed, he felt a warm feeling on his belly. As he got up and stumbled to the mirror, he noticed his belly did not go down over night, but had grown. His gut was bigger now, bigger than a bloat. It even stuck out from the sides now. He placed his hands on the big belly and felt that it wasn't hard but was soft like fat. Yet again though he didn't feel distressed but he felt warm and comfortable with it. And he had no time to stress about it. He had to get ready for his holiday.
Tumblr media
As Nick arrived on his big boat, he couldn't wait to get into his swimming trunks and go out and lay on the boat deck, maybe go for a swim. Nick dumped his bags into his bedroom and stripped off into nothing. He stood there naked, going through his stuff looking for a pair of trunks. He then pulled out a pair of navy speedos. He didn't realise he had packed these but he couldn't be bothered to find anything else to get changed to so he settled for these. As he pulled them over this feet and up his legs, there was some resistance as he got to his thighs. They were very tight and hard to pull up. He began jumping, yanking them higher. It got tighter when he reached his thick cheeks, having to really pull hard as to get them in. Once he finally squeezed his body into the small speedos, he was out of breath and now hungry. He went to the kitchen on the boat and saw some take out on the side. He grabbed the bag and sat down out on the deck.
Tumblr media
He felt his belly turn to rolls and roll over the top of his speedos. As he was eating his burger he looked at his hairy jelly belly and felt that warm sensation once again. He wasn't mad about it at all. And plus he was on a break, he can let him self go a little bit.
But it was becoming more then just a little bit.
Over the next few days, Nick's unexplained expansion was becoming more apparent. His body was pushing further outwards, his legs and arms, once muscle clad now looked like sausages, His chest, thick and soft like two burger buns, his arse becoming thicker and harder to squeeze into clothes. The main event, his belly, was growing the fastest. There was no way to hide his softening frame now, his belly had become too apparent.
Tumblr media
All around the boat was unexplained bags of fast food too. Every morning there would be a family sized order of food that he just could't resist. By lunch the same would happen and by dinner time the same again. How could he complain though? Getting free take out food for every meal? Who would complain about that.
His body was struggling to be contained however. He was already expanding at an alarming rate, but with the mix of stuffing himself with fast food, the lazy hog couldn't stop growing. He had to spend most of his days in skin tight speedos as they were the only thing he could squeeze over his huge body.
One morning as he was gorging on a large burger, he noticed a paparazzi van on the shore. Nick, unaware of how drastic his changes were, went onto the boat deck to flex his desired body. He was used to paparazzi showing up whilst he was on holiday to snap a pic of his hot bod. However they weren't taking pictures of his hot body, instead documenting his hog body.
Tumblr media
It became big news seeing how big Nick Jonas had gotten. Just a few days ago at his last show he was in such good shape, and now the only shape he resembled was a circle. But Nick was blissfully unaware of his situation. All he wanted to do was enjoy his holiday and enjoy all the food left for him.
It wasn't long before the first week of his holiday was over. He woke up on his final day and rolled out of bed, his belly making it impossible to sit up. Nick picked up the only thing that fit him now, his navy speedos, and made his way to the top deck of the boat. As he barely fit into the speedos, he looked out at the view on the boat. Just then he smelt the delicious scent of take out food. He turned around and saw that his brother Joe was standing there with his food. "Joe what are you doing here?" Nick asked smiling but confused.
"I've been here the whole time Nick. I've been feeding you all this fast food all week." Joe took a few steps closer to Nick. "Remember that doughnut Nick?" How could Nick forget, it was the best doughnut he's ever had. "Well you see, I gave you that doughnut. And it was laced with rapid weight gain powder and so is all the food I've been giving you. That's why you now look like a whale."
Nick looked confused. He looked down at his body and indeed he was huge. How had he not realised. "But why?"
"Everyone thinks you're the hot Jonas Brother. I'm jealous of you Nick so I made you fat so people would like me more."
"But I don't care Joe. I don't mind this" he jiggled his belly. "Now can I have the fast food I'm starving"
Joe was shocked. What had he turned his brother into? He was a greedy expanding hog now, mindlessly eating and growing huge. Nick couldn't care less. He just wanted to eat and relax. If that led to him becoming a huge whale of a man then so be it. Bring on the fat.
Tumblr media
As by request, here is a story about Nick Jonas weight gain. I hope you enjoy this story, its nothing crazy but enjoy! Thinking of doing a part 2 with his brother possibly following his footsteps. Let me know what you think of that idea!

🐻‍❄️ cooking with vernon
vernon x gn! reader | fluff | 200 words | warnings: food
Tumblr media
“NONIE! PLEASE. I NEED THE BUTTER. STOP TRYING TO EAT IT WITH THE TOMATOES!”
Your shrill voice stopped Vernon right in his tracks just as he was about to swipe the tomato in the softened butter. Giving you a deadpan look, he slowly puts the tomato back down.
Both of you had been trying to decide what to eat for dinner. Vernon wanted burgers, and you wanted doughnuts. Hence, the best date night idea was born. You decided that since brioche burger buns and doughnuts had similar ingredients, why not try to make both within the comfort of your own home.
It sounded like a great idea at first. However, you underestimated your boyfriend’s love of weird food combinations. So far, as you were preparing the dough, Vernon had eaten tomatoes covered in jam, lettuce covered in jam, onions covered in ketchup, and cheese covered in ketchup. If he continued, you wouldn’t have any ingredients left.
Deciding that enough was enough, you put him to work preparing the burger patties. (You did make sure to keep a close eye on him in case he decided to try the raw meat). Regardless, the rest of the preparation went off without a hitch. Watching Vernon intensely concentrate on frying the patties with flour and weird food combinations smeared all over his apron was definitely one of your new favourite sights. And the cute small smiles he sent over your way every time he flipped the patties made your heart do flips.
Soon, your dinner had been prepared. Burgers (some lacking tomatoes and lettuce), and jelly filled doughnuts lined your dining table. After taking some mandatory photos, you looked up. To your horror, Vernon had deconstructed a burger and was putting the ingredients in a doughnut that he had cut in half.
Noticing your horrified gaze, Vernon just gave you a cheeky grin before shoving the doughnut burger in his mouth. He chewed for a while and nodded, giving you a thumbs up. Shaking your head, you laughed, resigned to your fate of having a boyfriend who loved weird food combinations. Afterall, if he didn’t try these weird food combinations, was he really your Vernon?

Miguel being depressed and picking up an anomaly who notices and is sweet and understanding with him.
Okay I'll write some feelings just this once because I like this. Reader is the anomaly in question. SFW angst/feelings under the cut
And it arrived in the unlikely form of a hulking figure in red and blue. He leaped through the darkness in near silence, binding you up with neon red webs as you struggled to break free. Was this Spider-Man? He didn't look like the Spidey from your dimension. And you, apparently, didn't look like any anomaly he'd ever seen. You looked so scared, so confused. Utterly helpless. When he finally realized that something was amiss, his mask retracted into his suit, revealing his face. It was angular and strong, but there was such weakness in his eyes. It struck you, and you stopped struggling.
-
You didn't know what an anomaly was until you became one, falling out of your dimension and into another. The experience was far more painful than you ever would have been able to predict. You looked out of place, you felt it, your body knew it. The longer you were there, the more it hurt. Until help arrived.
He approached you slowly, his hands up, showing you he didn't mean any harm. "I don't know what's going on," he said, his voice low and level. "But I do know that we need to get you out of here." Apologetically, he released you from his webbing and lifted you up into his capable arms. He carried you through a new portal that he created, bringing you to his headquarters.
There, he placed you in an orange containment device of some kind, and the light of it made you squint. "To keep you from glitching," he had said. "Wish I could give you a day pass, but I don't want to set a bad example. At the very least, I'm expediting the process to get you home. But there are some dangerous characters that need to be prioritized." You nodded. You understood as best you could. He asked you about yourself. And you both learned that there was a version of you from a different dimension that became some kind of villain. Your matching DNA confused whatever presence or influence transported you, and so there you had been, traveling through space and time without a single inkling as to why. A completely regular person in your own world, but a villain in another.
You were in a line, now, a line to eventually go home. The man who saved you seemed to feel terrible about you being there. It wasn't your fault that your interdimensional counterpart was evil. He brought you food and drink from the cafeteria. Empanadas, burgers, all sorts of things. One day, he sheepishly brought you a burger with a bun that looked like his mask. It made you laugh, and that seemed to soften him like nothing else had.
"What about you?" You eventually asked him from inside of your cage. He told you his name, Miguel, but not much else. "It's just that... you look so sad." You admitted.
"I know what it's like to feel so out of place."
"No," you said. "It's more than that." He picked his head up at that, suddenly on guard. "You don't have to tell me anything. I'm sorry. You do so much good. Surely, it outweighs whatever is hanging over you."
"Nothing will ever outweigh it...." He finally said, his expression tortured. "I do all of this because I know what happens when someone doesn't do it. I've made that mistake, and I can never take it back."
You shared a moment of silence with him before saying, "I hope you can at least rest knowing that you saved me. You're my hero because of that. Your past and your mistakes don't matter to me. You'll always be the man that saved my life."
He actually smiled at that. It was small but genuine.
The day came when it was finally your turn to go home. He brought you another burger with his mask on it. A goodbye gift. The sentiment tasted better than the burger ever could. He watched from the platform below as the machine detected your DNA signature and started to weave an enclosure around you. When the portal opened, Miguel's face was the last thing you saw before finally going home.

🌇 chapter four <-
(older!eddie manip by @eddiemunsons-missingnipple )
The Masterlist / The Playlist / The Tune:
This is the chapter that sparked it all 🧡 So in honor of that, a snippet below the cut. (Enjoy the little easter egg of older!eddie from @carolmunson ‘s Orange Colored Sky 😉)
Tumblr media
The string lights of his front porch catch in your sight while the sounds of Eddie Money echo down the quiet hitting your ears. He was home, but he wasn’t alone.
You slow your pace when you get close enough to smell the smoke of his cigar, and hear the deep baritone of his full belly laugh. Another voice chimes in, it’s raspier, darker and definitely not a woman’s. The unruly pang of jealousy that hits your gut subsides when you reach your apartment and he finally comes into view.
His hair is messier than you’ve ever seen it, the gray and honey highlights sticking out at the ends like he’s spent the whole night running those big hands through it. His cheeks are flushed with what looks like the end of a fun day with friends, a half smoked cigar tucked between his teeth that show themselves in a wide grin for the man sitting on his porch steps next to him.
He leans on the top step by his elbows, your thighs pressing together when the silver chain that’s usually hidden under his shirt swings over the soft blue tee that fits tight across chest when he laughs again. His cream jeans are loose fitting, stretching at his thighs with dark gray house slippers on his feet.
The guy next to him is not who you’d expect to find, he looks around the same age, gray streaks shining under the porch light in the dark curls that rest tied back in a loose low hanging bun. His chocolate eyes shine with excitement while ring and tattoo covered hands gesture wildly with his story, the ash at the end of his cigar is dangerously close to falling onto the wood of the porch.
Steve picks up the ashtray between the two glasses of a dark liquor like it’s second nature, lifting it up for his friend, making you notice the silver chain that dangles around his wrist when he takes the offering. He’s dressed in all black, a contrast to the light colors of Steve’s wardrobe with a pressed Judas Priest band tee that sits half tucked into the tops of his Chino shorts that fall right above his knee. Black socks and black slides covering his feet.
Bandit’s the first to notice you from his spot on the giant rug by the front door when you reach the gate. His ears perk as he sits up, paws dropping one after the other in excitement. A high pitch whine escapes him catching Steve’s attention. He plucks the cigar from his mouth looking at Bandit before finally following the dog’s line of sight to you. There was no getting out of this now.
You feel like you won some kind of prize at the size of Steve’s smile, lopsided with rosy cheeks pushed up and eyes crinkling in the corners. He sets his cigar down, ignoring the confused look his friend is giving him before sitting up running a hand through his hair making it stand on end.
“She’s alive!” He does his best impression of Dr. Frankenstein sticking his arms out in front of him and you see the man next to him grimace before taking a puff and turning his attention on to you. Curious dark eyes watch Steve and Bandit go to meet you at the gate.
“Yes, I somehow survived.” You can’t help but giggle making the man on the porch shoot his eyebrows up. All the nerve you worked up on the way here is gone when your neighbor gets close enough to see the stubble you liked so much is back.
“I hope the Au Cheval burger helped with that.” He breaths with a smirk, his eyes landing on the to go box that’s threatening to succumb to the iron grip in your hand. “Is that what I think it is?”
Too caught up in how his eyes seem to light up when he asks, it takes you a minute to register that he’s talking about the fish tacos in your hand.
“Oh!! - Sorry - Yes, I didn’t know you had company tonight. I have cannolis in my bag too, I don’t wanna interrupt anything - I can, I can just leave them with you.” Bandit jumps onto the gate while you stutter your words suddenly feeling sixteen again, the feeling of his friend's stare making you shuffle around in place.
Steve opens his mouth ready to protest but he’s interrupted before he gets a chance to say anything.
“Harrington! You gonna invite the pretty girl up for a drink or what?”
The heat rises to your cheeks as you busy yourself with scratching Bandit behind the ear with a free hand. Steve lets out a breath through his nose before pinching the bridge of it. His ears turning red like the cherries on the ends of the cannoli’s in your bag.
“Sorry about my friend,” He takes another beat before he looks up, his eyes smoldering against yours, hope hidden inside the golden specks. “I was going to actually ask you if you’d like to come up for a drink, I promise he’s harmless. He met his wife shopping at Trader Joe’s.”

open here for a sneak peek:
"A what for what?" Donghyuck asks, mouth as full of burger as Renjun's own, hence why he couldn't understand him the first time. Renjun holds up his hand, chews aggressively, then swallows hard.
"An experiment for finding love," he explains a second time, and the crease in between Donghyuck's eyebrows only seems to be getting deeper with every word that leaves Renjun's lips.
"What the fuck is that?" Donghyuck asks (assumingely, Renjun still can't understand him over the huge bite of patty and bun inside of his mouth).
"You give a whole bunch of information about yourself to the scientists, and they use some software to find your ideal partner," Renjun explains briefly. There's a bit more to it than just that, but he doesn't want to overwhelm Donghyuck's brain while he's eating.
"Pff, okay?" Donghyuck says, a few crumbs of- whatever that had been only mere seconds ago flying out of his mouth and directly onto Renjun's forearm. The older contorts his face in utter disgust, shaking the sticky pieces of food off of his skin.
"You're a pig, Donghyuck," Renjun states, wiping the spot with his napkin because he can still feel Donghyuck's saliva on himself.
"I might be a pig, but at least I got game." Donghyuck finally swallows, grinning proudly with a small piece of lettuce stuck in between his teeth which Renjun has yet to decide telling him about after that insult.
"You don't have 'game'," Renjun spits, fingers motioning quotation marks, "you just have low standards. You'd fuck everything that bends over in front of you."
"That is not true!"
"Need I remind you of what happened with Chenle's mom?"
"She is a milf!" Donghyuck whines, letting his hands weakly fall down onto the table.
"Whatever." Renjun sighs. "Point is: I'm not lacking game, I just want to wait for the right person."

Wieght gain tip number 2: what should i eat 🤷‍♀️
Now that we talked about the best nutritional intakes to gain weight, both healthy and unhealthy, next next question to ask yourself is: what do I eat?
Now, let's start with you unhealthy piggies first. Good news for yall! You get to have all the fatty and delicious food you want 😋. Now, what is a good meal plan that will last you a week and won't hurt your wallet 🤔
Well any American knows the magnificent super store called Walmart 😌. Now what if I told you this bad boy can get you so fucking fat with only 40-50$ a week?
At 35-50$ a week: you can get around 3k calories per day for 1 whole week
Let's get the fun stuff out of the way. For your morning snack should be light compared to your afternoon snack, I recommend getting fritters. You can scarf down 720 calories with 2 fritters. A whole box of 6 fritters is merely 4 dollars, sooooo you should pick up 1-2 boxes. Your breakfast should be your lightest of your meals. If you want to go the extra mile and be lazy, I highly recommend Jimmy Dean Sausage, Egg & Cheese Croissant Sandwiches, each sandwich is 400 calories and one box has 4 sandwiches in it, so once more get 1-2 boxes for the week at this point you've spent between $10-$20 and eaten around 700-1.2k calories so far. It's not bad for a start, but im sure that tummy is still very hungry 😋. So let's move on to some lunch, and I know just the meal that will fill that gut! Starting off with your sides, you should pick up some Great Value Seasoned French Fries. 11 servings per bag with 140 calories per serving and only $3.75. As always, I recommend getting 1-2 bags like usual, of course, the more the merrier 😁. For your main meal, I recommend eating some nice and healthy American made burgers 😋, so grab some patties (recommend 20% fat 80% lean). The All Natural brand sells 12 patties per pack at $10! And if course you can eat a burger without buns, sooooo let's grab some big carb filled buns 😌. Great Value Jumbo Hamburger Buns should be the cheapest and most carb heavy buns you can get at only $2 (although you have to pick up 2 for all 12 patties). So let's have the final snack before bedtime, I think something light like walmart's famous Freshness Guaranteed Frosted Sugar Cookies should do, hehe 😉
In total, this should set you around 2.7-3k calories worth of food, which is more than enough to fatten up anyone under 200lbs
(The second part of this post will be about healthy gain, which I will post later today)

⟡˙⋆ One: So Anxious ⋆˙⟡
Lakeview was your sanctuary, a tranquil haven where you sought refuge from the bustling city and embraced the company of friends and family every summer.
Luckily for you, you only lived a 3 hour drive from your home in the city to your cabin in Lakeview; while people from across the country travelled even further distances to their cabins for the summer. The unique community you grew up in at Lakeview held a special place in your heart. Spending your days outdoors, engrossed in adventures with friends who you eagerly anticipated seeing each summer.
You were 15 when you met her.
⋆˙⟡☾𖤓☽ ⟡˙⋆
"Did you see you got new neighbours across the street?" Liv asked as she grabbed a piece of watermelon from the bowl on the coffee table to the left of you. You and Liv were sitting on the couch in the sunroom at the front of your cabin, facing each other, you were engrossed in a game of battleship, the boards resting on your laps.
Liv was your best "cabin friend," she was from a different town so you only saw her during the summer but the two of you would pick up like no time had passed since you last saw each other.
Concentrating on plotting your next hit, you briefly glanced out the window across the street.
"Yeah, I heard. I only saw a scruffy man with a beard unloading the truck, guessing no girls around to hang with," you shrugged, "D-7."
"Miss," Liv smirked.
"Fuck," you huffed before taking another glance out the window, "wait, who's that?"
You watched as the scruffy man walked from behind the cabin carrying a stack of firewood, and a short auburn haired girl sauntered closely behind him reading something from a book. She smiled widely as she spoke before slapping her knee breaking out into laughter. The man rolling his eyes.
"Hey, she looks about our age doesn't she?" Liv craned her neck to get a better look at the girl.
"Yeah," you nodded, your gaze locked on the smiling girl.
"Hey girls, I see you've spotted the new girl across the street" your mom interrupts as she walks into the sunroom. "Her name is Ellie and that's Joel. She's about your age, I think you'd get along great, she's a sweet girl."
You and Liv look at each other excitedly. You loved making new friends.
"I've invited them over for a barbecue, around six when your dad gets back from buying some burger buns. Ellie seemed excited to meet you guys." Your mom announced.
"Awesome," Liv smiled, turning to you, "how about we finish this game and then go get ready for our guests? I can do your hair."
"Sounds like a plan." You agree.

"Why can’t a bike stand on its own?" Ellie gleamed as she followed Joel around the back of the cabin.
"Why?" Joel huffed as he rolled his eyes, his arms full of firewood he just finished chopping.
"Because it’s two tired." Ellie laughed, smacking her pun book on her knee.
"Fuck, that was a good one," she wiped a laughter tear from the corner of her eye.
"Ha ha," Joel faked a laugh, "good one kiddo, hey. Cool it on the swearing when we go over to the neighbours, I don't want you scarin' her kids... or bein' a bad influence, alright?"
Ellie rolled her eyes, "yeah, yeah."
Ellie made her way into her and Joel's cabin, setting her pun book down on the dresser in her bedroom. She walked over to her window and looked across the street where she could see the silhouettes of you and your friend in the sunroom through the front window of your cabin.
Nervousness welled up in her stomach as the prospect of making new friends, especially girls, made her uneasy.
"Calm down Ellie." she whispered taking a seat on her bed, "they're just.... girls."
She couldn't comprehend why other girls made her so anxious. Back home, all her friends were guys who never made her feel this... apprehensive.
-
"Ready to go, kiddo?" Joel poked his head into Ellie's room, finding her immersed in a new comic book she had picked up before leaving her city.
"Yeah, I guess so," Ellie shrugged as she swung her feet off of her bed and lacing up her converse sneakers.
"Here, you carry the fruit platter, and I'll handle the firewood I chopped for the neighbors, alright?" Joel handed Ellie the tray of fruit.
Ellie sighed, feeling her nerves resurfacing. "Yeah, yeah," she mumbled, taking the tray and following Joel out of the cabin and across the street.
The pair approached the front door of your cabin and Joel placed down the firewood near the front steps before walking up and knocking on the door.
"Hey, neighbors!" your mom exclaimed, opening the door. "Oh, Joel, thanks for the firewood. My husband is out back cooking. Would you mind taking it along the side of the cabin and setting it down by the fire pit for later?" your mom requested. "And Ellie! The girls are thrilled to meet you. They're just up in y/n's room. Come in, and I'll fetch them."
"Of course ma'am," Joel smiled before turning to make his way back down the stairs.
Ellie shot him an anxious look as your mom pivoted to lead her into the cabin.
"You'll be fine," Joel mouthed before continuing down the stairs.
"Fuck me," Ellie sighed under her breath before following your mom inside.
"Ladies! Your new friend is here!" Your mom called up the the staircase that led to the lofted bedrooms before she grabbed the burger buns and made her way out to the backyard.
Ellie's hands became instantly clammy as she watched the two girls excitedly make their way down the stairs. You were leading down the steps.
Ellie first noticed your hair, how it bounced as you giggled and nervously kept turning to look at your friend behind you.
Then her gaze shifted to your eyes, captivated by their warmth. She felt herself getting lost in them.
And lastly she noticed your smile, how it welcomed her in and how it remained bright as you spoke.
Oh fuck, she's saying something.
"Sorry, w-what?" Ellie's hearing returned as she jolted herself out of her thoughts, fumbling the fruit platter in the process.
Fuck.
"Oh shit!" you attempted to catch the platter, but you weren't fast enough.
"Fuck, I'm so sorry," Ellie knelt down to the floor, both of you hurriedly picking up the fallen fruit and placing them back onto the tray.
"No, don't worry," you smiled, placing a piece of pineapple onto the plate, "I said my name is y/n... and this is Liv," you smiled as you turned to look at Liv who was dying of laughter.
"Fuck, this is so embarrassing," Ellie said under he breath as she avoided eye contact with you.
"Hey, no, it's not!" You tried to assure her, turning to Liv. "Liv, shut the fuck up," you playfully scolded, your smile still intact.
You got up and put the platter on the kitchen counter as Ellie and Liv awkwardly hung back in the living room area.
"So, what was your name?" You asked as you walked towards them.
"Oh, uh. Sorry. I'm Ellie." Ellie said nervously as she twiddled with her fingers.
You looked Ellie up and down, taking in her unique style. She didn't dress like a typical teenage girl, exuding a tomboyish charm with her baggy shorts and oversized t-shirt. Her auburn hair was pulled back into a ponytail, and she sported a pair of Converse shoes.
"Nice to meet you Ellie," you smiled. "Yeah nice to meet you," Liv followed up.
"You from far away?" you asked, trying to gauge whether Ellie would only be a summer friend or if she hailed from your city.
"Sort of… about a 7 hour drive. Joel just wanted a place to escape the city." She shrugged.
“Ah that far.” You sighed.
Ellie just nodded as she nervously chewed on the inside of her lip.
-
As the days went on, Ellie gradually warmed up to you and Liv. You even introduced her to your other friends, Gabe, Dennis, and Julia. The six of you would spend your days on the beach, boating with your parents, hiking at nearby trails, and having bonfires almost every night.
A couple of weeks into summer, you and Ellie had become really close. You spent a lot of time hanging out together, taking advantage of the fact that you lived right across the street from each other.
Ellie would stay over late playing Mario Kart on the Nintendo 64 with you. Her favourite character being Bowser and yours Princess Peach. She'd joke about your characters being the Nintendo versions of Beauty and the Beast. You could tell she'd let you win sometimes, especially on the racetrack set outside Princess Peach's castle.
⋆˙⟡☾𖤓☽ ⟡˙⋆
One day you were walking on a trail through the nearby forest with Ellie. You wanted to show her this lookout spot off of the trail that overlooked the lake. At the lookout you could see a giant rock that stuck out of the water. Legend has it that people would often get stranded on that rock, their boats being overtaken by turbulent waters.
The sun shined through the trees casting an soft glow on the forest surrounding you. Ellie was wearing black cargo shorts and an oversized maroon t-shirt and she had a tie dye bucket hat atop her head.
You were walking ahead of Ellie on the narrow trail.
"How much further?" she whined, her mischievous smirk evident as you glanced back at her.
"You just love to annoy me, don't you?" you quipped.
Ellie chuckled, "Yeah, I do."
"Almost there." you rolled your eyes.
You continued up the trail as Ellie slowed, falling behind as she got distracted by an old looking brick sticking out of the ground. “Woah is there a house under the ground or somethin?” she whispered to herself.
Your eyes were admiring the foliage as you passed by. When your gaze landed on a cluster of white, bell-shaped flowers, excitement surged through you.
"Oh my god!" you squealed.
"What!" Ellie came running from behind. "Are you okay?" She found you on your knees, kneeling over something she couldn't quite get a good look at yet.
You turned to her, your face gleaming with delight as you moved aside to show Ellie what you were looking at.
"Lily of the Valley!" you smiled.
A smile tugged at the corner of Ellie's lips as her eyes examined the pretty flower.
"Lily of the Valley?" Ellie repeated quietly as she bent down on her knee beside you, "it's pretty." she watched as you felt the delicate flowers with the tips of your fingers.
The sun was hitting your eyes just right and your hair swayed gracefully in the gentle breeze, captivating Ellie's attention. Lost in the moment, she uttered words she hadn't planned to say.
"Can I call you that?" Ellie's voice was soft, her question laced with a hint of vulnerability.
Your eyes met hers as you both were knelt by the flower. "Call me what?" you were a bit confused.
"Lily." Ellie shrugged as she stood. "Sorry that was stupid, you have a name for a reason." she self-consciously berated herself and began slowly walking up the trail.
"Hey Ellie, wait." you picked up your pace, placing your hand on her shoulder so she would turn around and face you, "not stupid... that's kinda cute." you smiled.
Ellie's cheeks were flushed when she turned around, she saw the smile you had on your face and the embarrassment subsided.
And that's how Ellie gave you your affectionate nickname, Lily.
-
A couple days later you were at the arcade with Liv, Julia, Dennis, Gabe, and of course Ellie. You'd decided to play some games while you waited for the movie showing to start at the community centre down the street at 9PM.
You were watching Ellie play a Star Wars themed pinball machine.
"I'm really fuckin this game up aren't I?" Ellie announced confidently as she launched a ball up one of the special ramps that made the machine flash its bright lights, "look I've got the high score."
"Yeah, Els and you're the only one who plays this game." you teased.
"Whatever Lily." she rolled her eyes, the silver ball slipping between the pinball machine's flippers. "Fuck," she whispered under her breath.
You chuckled as you heard Gabe call your name from behind you.
"Yeah?" you turned to look at the boy who was leaning against a pool table. "Wanna play?" he smirked.
You nodded and approached the table. Ellie watched you leave her side from the corner of her eye as she launched a new silver ball into the game.
"Ready to get your ass kicked?" you teased, a sly grin forming on your lips.
Gabe responded by rolling his eyes and feigning fear, with a touch of theatrics.
Ellie finished her pinball game, eventually losing her last little silver ball to the machine. "Damn it." she whispered under her breath, reaching into her pocket, realizing she was out of quarters.
She turned to face the pool table where she saw Gabe helping you line up your cue for a shot. A jealous pang hit her stomach, though she didn't completely recognize the unfamiliar feeling as jealousy.
Ellie passed the feeling in her stomach off as hunger as she walked over to Liv who was sitting at a high table with a plate of nachos in front of her.
"You know what they're playing at the community centre?" Ellie asked as she boosted herself up onto the barstool beside Liv and took a cheesy nacho chip, shoving it into her mouth.
"I heard it's something scary, since it's the later movie time." Liv replied, "I hope it's Scream."
Ellie shrugged and took another chip, glancing over at you and Gabe as you hit one of your balls into a corner pocket.
"He likes her, hey?" Liv whispered, nudging Ellie's arm, her words spoken with a hushed tone.
Caught off guard, Ellie's gaze remained fixed on you, a hint of surprise flickering in her eyes as the revelation sank in. "Really?"
"Yeah it's so cute because she liked him last summer, but you know boys. Sooo immature that he didn't notice." Liv explained.
Oh. Ellie's gaze returned to the nachos, but she didn't take one this time. She didn't reply to Liv either.
"She didn't tell you that?" Liv asked, in response to the flat look on Ellie's face.
"Oh, uh no." Ellie snapped herself out of her thoughts.
"Shit, don't tell her I told you. Okay?"
Ellie nodded her head, "yeah sure."
It was now 8:40PM and you and your friends decided to start walking to the community centre for the movie.
"TONIGHTS SHOWING: SINISTER 9PM"
Read a paper posted on the front door of the community centre.
"Ooooo spoooooky," Dennis chuckled, waving his fingers in Julia's face like a ghoul. Julia hit his arm, "cut it out!" she laughed.
"Have you seen this one Ellie?" You asked as she opened the door, letting you step in first.
"Yeah, it's pretty good. Try not to shit your pants." she teased.
You gently slapped her arm, “you’re gross.”
"Can I sit beside you?" you asked, a smile playing on your lips.
"Of course." she replied, you watched as a pink blush crept across her cheeks. Why was she blushing?
"Y/n! Beside me!" Gabe called from where he was already sitting, patting the seat next to him.
You glanced at Ellie briefly before hooking your arm into hers and leading her to the two empty seats to the right of Gabe where you sat down. Gabe on your left and Ellie on your right.
The lights went off and the movie began. Gabe made you nervous, which felt normal. You did have a crush on him last summer and you could see how he was pursuing you this summer but... It was like a switch turned off and your crush was gone. Maybe it was the time that'd passed between last summer and this one. Or maybe it was something else.
The creepy music from the movie grew louder and louder as a scene of a family being murdered played across the screen. Your right hand moved to cover your eyes as your left wrapped itself across your stomach, comfortingly hugging yourself.
You sat like this for a couple moments when you felt someone grab onto your left hand that you had tucked underneath your right arm. Drawing your attention to your right as you slightly moved your hand away from your face. Ellie's eyes were glued to the screen, her arms were crossed but her right hand was covertly latched to your left.
She noticed you looking at her, meeting your eyes she smiled softly before returning her focus to the screen, your hand still in hers.
Before you could fully process the moment, Gabe stretched his arm and draped it casually around your shoulder.
Ellie let go of your hand.
-
"Can I walk you home?" Gabe asked quietly as you and your friends exited the community centre.
"Oh, it's alright, I have Ellie to protect me from any spooky demons or monsters." you smiled in her direction as she chatted with Julia and Liv.
"Oh... alright then." Gabe replied his face reading dissappointment.
You and Ellie said goodbye to the group and walked in the direction of your cabins.
There was a minute or two of silence between the two of you. A sense of tension you couldn't quite put your finger on. The sound of trees rustling in the breeze hung over your heads.
"That movie was kinda fucked hey?" Your memory flashed to one of the more disturbing scenes from the film.
"Yeah," Ellie agreed, "good thing you had Gabe there," she spoke quietly as she shoved her hands in her pockets.
Ellie didn't know where that came from and she didn't intend for it to come out so mean.
You were taken aback slightly. Did Ellie like Gabe?
It took you a moment to find your words. "I could've done without his arm around my shoulder to be honest... it was kind of heavy and annoying." you smiled attempting to lighten the conversation.
You looked at Ellie as she simply hummed in response, kicking a couple rocks on the side of the road.
Ellie must like Gabe, you discerned.
The two of you turned the corner onto your street silently, the tension thick in the air as you turned to face her.
"You can have him you know? I know Liv told you I have a crush on Gabe but I don't anymore, okay? I just don't want things to be weird between us." Liv had such a big mouth, you thought to yourself.
Ellie looked at you with furrowed brows as he mouth hung slightly open, "Ah fuck no! What's wrong with you?" she snarked. You've never seen Ellie angry like this before.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to-"
"Just stop, please, y/n," Ellie's words halted your apology in its tracks.
The absence of your nickname caught your attention, and a sense of confusion washed over you, furrowing your brow as you searched for an understanding of what you might have done wrong.
Ellie saw the look on your face and averted her eyes to the ground.
"I'm sorry." she whispered, "I don't know what's wrong with me."
Ellie turned away from you and hurried into her cabin. You watched as the door shut behind her.
-
You woke up the next morning with a sunken feeling in your gut. The sun was shining through the front windows of your cabin as you sat in the sunroom, sipping your coffee that had too much cream and sugar in it. Your gaze was set on Ellie's bedroom window, you hoped she was alright.
You'd promised to meet Liv at the beach around noon. You changed into your bathing suit and a pair of shorts, packed your beach bag and blanket and began your walk to the beach.
"So how're you and Gabe?" Liv gleamed as you laid back on your beach blanket.
"Ugh Liv," you groaned, "I'm over him. Can you let it go? And I know you told Ellie."
Liv rolled her eyes, "she told you I told her?"
"No! But I saw you two whispering and looking at us while we played pool so I took a wild guess." you replied in an almost snarky tone.
Liv went silent.
"Ellie got all weird last night after she saw his arm around me, she barely talked on the way home.... I think she likes him." you explained as you ran your fingers through the sand and laidd your head back to look up at the clear blue sky.
You still weren't certain why Ellie got so upset with you last night. It felt like you ran through all the possibilities in your head a dozen times over, none making complete sense. If she liked Gabe, you already said she can have him. Was she mad because you knew Liv told her about your crush on Gabe? Was she mad you had a crush on Gabe? Who knows. You shook the thoughts from your head before closing your eyes and drifting off to sleep.
⋆˙⟡☾𖤓☽ ⟡˙⋆
What you didn't know was that Ellie's lash out had nothing to do with you.... well sort of. Ellie figured out that the emotion she felt was jealousy. But she was struggling to understand why.
When she got into her bedroom the night before, she left her light off and peeked out her window, watching you stand in the street for a moment before walking into your cabin and slamming the door behind you.
"Fuck," she whispered to herself out of frustration. Tears threatening to spill over onto her cheeks. She wasn't mad at you, she was mad at herself.
There's something wrong with me. This isn't right. She told herself.
Ellie couldn't understand why she felt so compelled to grab your hand when she saw how scared you were during the movie, something just came over her. And she couldn't understand why she felt like she was set on fire when she watched Gabe wrap his arm around you either.
“Friends don’t give a shit about that stuff.” Ellie whispered to herself, “what the fuck is wrong with you?” She pinched the bridge of her nose with two fingers.
Ellie paced around her room for awhile, wishing she held her emotions better in front of you. She kicked off her chucks and flopped down on her bed, forcing her eyes closed.
-
When she woke the next day the clock read 12PM. She groaned as she stretched her limbs out across her bed, the sun peeking through the window shades.
"Mornin Kiddo." Joel poked his head into her room after he heard her stirring in bed. "Or should I say, good afternoon." he raised his brow as he checked his watch.
"Hey." Ellie said quietly as she sat up in bed.
"Plans for today?" Joel inquired.
"Uhhh." Ellie thought for a moment, trying to recall what you had told her you were doing today, "I think I'll head to the beach." She said as she swung her legs off of the bed, getting up to get ready for the day.
"You alright? Seem a bit off." Joel asked as Ellie walked passed him towards the bathroom.
"I'm fine, just." Ellie paused in the doorway of the bathroom, taking a moment to think if Joel would even be capable of understanding the internal battle she is experiencing at the moment.
Ellie turned to Joel, as he looked at her expectantly. "Don't worry." she attempted to assure him before she shut the bathroom door.
⋆˙⟡☾𖤓☽ ⟡˙⋆
You were awoken by the sound of Julia's laughter in the distance. Your eyes fluttered open and you were met with the sight of Julia, Gabe, Dennis, and Ellie walking in the sand towards you and Liv.
"Took you fuckers long enough, I said noon, not 1:30!" Liv yelled with a teasing smirk across her face as she sat up on her blanket.
"Not everyone can rise at the ass crack of dawn like you, Liv" Ellie cracked back playfully as the four of them joined you and Liv, Ellie sitting down next to you on your blanket.
"Oh shit, you and your sweet Lily have a late night last night or what?" Dennis teased, a mischievous grin spreading across his face. Your brows furrowed as your eyes flicked from him to Ellie, her face was a deep shade of crimson and you felt your own heating up.
"The fuck's that supposed to mean?" Ellie replied, defensively.
"Hey, I'm just joking around," Dennis put his hands up in the air apologetically, though he sounded almost sarcastic. "I saw you guys holdin' hands at the movie though." the mischievous smile returning to his lips.
You felt Gabe's eyes burn into you.
"What? Friends can't hold hands? I was scared." You shrugged, attempting to dismiss his subtle confrontation as your hands fiddled with your hair.
"You had Gabe though." Dennis replied, you could see what he was doing. Confronting you for not being interested in his friend, Gabe.
"Well, I didn't need Gabe." you said under your breath before turning to Ellie, "can we talk?" you asked in a hushed tone.
She nodded in response and the two of you stood and began folding up your beach blanket.
"Ohp, there they go again," Dennis remarked as he watched you and Ellie stand up. "Hey Dennis, lay the fuck off." Gabe snapped.
“Come on guys don’t leave, we just got here!” Julia exclaimed as she watched you begin to fold up your blanket.
You looked at Liv and Julia “I’ll see you guys later, I don’t really feel like being around this asshole right now.” your head nodded towards Dennis.
“Hey I was just kidding around!” Dennis attempted to defuse the situation.
You just glared at him before turning with Ellie and walking towards the boardwalk.
You had an idea of what Dennis was insinuating but wrote it off as nasty guy stuff, fantasies he was making up in his head.
As you and Ellie left the beach behind, silence settled between you, leaving you grasping for words to cut the tension. Your mind searched for something to say, desperate to fill the void that hung in the air.
"I'm sorry if I did something to make you mad last night." you finally said.
Ellie’s gaze remained on the ground as she thought of what to say.
"You didn't do anything wrong." Ellie said, her eyes wouldn't meet yours so you kept your gaze forward, “I’m sorry I freaked out.”
“What made you so upset?” you decided to just bite the bullet and ask.
Silence settled once again. Ellie’s mind raced, unable to put together a response to your question that would make any sense. She barely even understand why she was upset.
Ellie shrugged.
You examined her body language, she was tense.
"Do you wanna talk about it?" you asked, without even knowing what 'it' was.
"No." she replied flatly, shoving her hands into the pockets of her shorts.
That's all you needed to hear to push no further. You just wanted to cheer your friend up.
"Wanna go back to mine and play Mario Kart?" you suggested softly. Ellie smiled as she nodded, her eyes finally meeting yours for the first time today, her green orbs shimmering in the sun.
-
You and Ellie began spending even more time alone after what happened on the beach. You didn't mind though. Ellie seemed to get you and you got her. The two of you would spend a lot of time reading her comic books and listening to music off of your iPod.
Ellie even brought out her art supplies a couple times and you painted portraits of each other. Yours wasn't executed very well but her portrait of you was amazing.
"Why did you make me look like Carrot Top?" Ellie teased as she held your painting of her up, craning her neck at different angles dramatically.
"Shut up!" you exclaimed as you tried to grab the painting from her, "I'm never painting in front of you again!"
"I'm kidding Lily, it's great” she chuckled. “I just look a little goofy is all but that’s not your fault. Maybe I’m goofy lookin" she smiled, setting the painting down.
You each signed your respective paintings and insisted your mom let you display them in your cabin's sunroom.
"Here look good?" Ellie asked as she held a nail up to the wall. You nodded before she began to hit the nail head with a hammer.
You bit your lip as you adjusted your painting of Ellie next to her painting of you on the wall. "Does that look straight?" you asked Ellie who was standing behind you, with a hand on her chin.
"Perfect." she smiled, "definitely art gallery worthy, but your sunroom will do."
You took a step back so that you were beside her, admiring your paintings together.
-
One night nearing the end of summer the sky was exceptionally clear. Ellie walked over and knocked on your door to ask if you wanted to go stargazing on the beach.
She brought "The Book of Constellations: Discover the Secrets in the Stars," a flashlight to read the book, and a blanket for the two of you to lay on.
"Aren't you afraid of the dark?" You asked as the two of you walked down the darkened boardwalk. It was almost pitch black as you approached the sandy beach, the surface of the water glistened slightly from the reflection of the half moon. Ellie pointed her flashlight at the ground so you wouldn't trip.
"Not really," she said nonchalantly, "are you?"
"Well, sort of," you admitted, looking towards the water. The darkness made it difficult to see anything, and a playful fear emerged. "What if a crocodile comes out of the water and eats me?" you joked, but deep down, there was a tinge of real fear.
Ellie chuckled, "there aren't crocodiles here and if there were I'd beat some crocodile ass," she smiled as the two of you slowed down, stopping at a spot in the sand, not too far from the boardwalk.
Together, you laid out the blanket. Ellie settled down first, and you followed suit, both of you looking up at the starry sky.
Ellie opened her book and pointed her flashlight at one of the pictures and then looking up into the sky.
"You see those seven stars there?" she asked, tracing the constellation with her pointer finger. You moved closer, aligning your perspective with hers to follow her movements.
Ellie's stomach fluttered, and her hands grew clammy as her eyes briefly darted to how close your faces were. She quickly refocused on the stars.
"Those ones there?" You pointed your finger up, tracing what you believed to be the stars Ellie was looking at.
"Uh," Ellie leaned in closer to you to see where your finger was pointing, "yeah," she moved her cheek away from yours, redirecting her attention to her book.
"Camelopardalis or, The Giraffe," she said before looking back at the sky.
"Pretty," you smiled as the shape of a giraffe emerged within the stars. For a moment, your eyes unintentionally wandered to Ellie.
The moon gently illuminated Ellie's face as she looked up, and you couldn't help but notice the freckles scattered across her cheeks. They resembled stars in their own right, and you could almost trace constellations on her skin.
Ellie's eyes left the sky and met yours as you quickly glanced away.
"Sorry," you whispered, refocusing on the giraffe in the sky.
Ellie's heart began to thump louder after she caught you staring. She didn't know what to make of it. Maybe there's something on my face.
"It's okay," Ellie whispered back, as she closed her book deciding to lay back on the blanket so she could look straight up into the sky. You sat, twiddling your fingers for a moment, still embarrassed for being caught staring at your friend.
"I won't bite you know?" Ellie chuckled softly as she lay with both of her arms folded behind her head, making a make-shift pillow. You looked at her and rolled your eyes, "I know," you smiled as you scooted to lay back beside her.
You'd been coming out to Lakeview every summer since you were 5 but you swore the stars never looked as bright as they did tonight.
You and Ellie remained silent, accompanied only by the distant rustling of trees in the wind and the gentle waves meeting the shore.
"Can I ask you something?" You broke the silence, your eyes remaining up at the sky.
"Sure," Ellie replied.
You went silent for a couple moments, staring at the giraffe in the sky.
You took a deep breath.
"Have you ever liked anoth- another….. gi-" You stuttered then stopped yourself. Taking some more time to contemplate whether you wanted to say this out loud.
You see, the last few days you've been very confused. You weren't stupid. You saw how nervous Ellie got around you and you couldn't deny Ellie made you nervous too. You've had dozens of girl friends in your life, but none that made you feel like you do when you're around Ellie. I shouldn't be feeling this way about my friend... who is a girl....
"Never mind," you spit out as you snapped yourself out of your thoughts.
"Hey!" Ellie said in an annoyed but teasing tone as she propped herself up on her elbows to look at you, "not fair, you started your sentence, now you've got to finish it."
"It's nothing Ellie," you smiled as you looked at her, your eyes lazily returning to the sky as she looked down at you.
"Lay back down," you nudged her elbow, "what if there's a shooting star and you miss it, you won't get a wish!" You smiled.
Ellie rolled her eyes and rested her head back on the blanket, sighing loudly in an attempt to make you feel bad for not finishing what you were going to say.
You laughed at the dramatics.
And as if you summoned the star yourself, a bright light shot across the sky.
"Holy shit!" Ellie exclaimed before shutting her eyes, "quick make a wish!"
You watched the star dash across the sky but instead of shutting your eyes, your head turned towards Ellie. Her eyes were shut and she had a smile plastered across her face.
Somewhere in the back of your mind you knew exactly what you wanted to wish for. But you refused to admit it to yourself in your head. So you didn’t make a wish.
-
After the two of you walked home and went into your respective cabins for the night, Ellie lay wide awake in her bed going over all the possibilities of what you may have wanted to ask her.
She cursed herself for not pressing further on the manner but you really seemed like you wanted to change the subject and she wanted to respect that.
What you didn't know was that Ellie was confused too. She likes you a lot as a friend but something feels.... different. Deep down she knew what this meant, but she too refused to admit it to herself.

Before you knew it, summer was coming to a close. You were sitting with Ellie on her porch, watching Joel load up the last of their things.
"You gonna be able to survive 10 months without me?" You teased.
Ellie laughed, "I don't know man, if I'm not here next summer it's because I died from Lily withdrawal."
You let out a short laugh, as you felt a sinking feeling in your stomach.
"Don't forget about me, alright?" Ellie could sense your sadness.
"I won't, as long as you don't forget about me," You replied as you looked at her.
Ellie smirked as she shook her head, her eyes finding yours,
"I couldn't," she whispered as her eyes bore into you.
The sound of Joel shutting the tailgate of his truck broke the eye contact between you an Ellie.
You felt a lump form in your throat as you and Ellie stood, turning towards each other.
"Promise you’ll be here next summer?" She asked.
You just nodded your head as a tears threatened to spill from your eyes.
"Aw, don't do that," Ellie groaned as she pulled you in for a hug.
Joel watched from the driveway as the two girls locked into each other's embrace. He smiled.
"Ready to go Kiddo?" He called out.
You pulled away from Ellie, your tears leaving wet marks on the chest of her grey t-shirt. "Fuck sorry," you laughed as you wiped your nose, "I don't know why this is so dramatic."
Ellie chuckled, "I know, it's not like one of us is leaving forever, I think Joel and your mom exchanged phone numbers so you can call me whenever okay? Maybe we should beg them for cell phones so we can text." she suggested with a smile.
"Yeah I'll work on that," you tried to be optimistic.
You walked Ellie down the steps of her porch and shut the door for her after she climbed into the passenger seat of the truck.
She rolled down her window, her cheeks still wet with tears.
"See you next summer." She smiled.
You waved as you watched Joel slowly pull out from the driveway. Ellie stuck her head out the window, smiling and waving as you watched the truck turn the corner, and that'd be the last time you would see your Ellie until next summer.

Chapter 2
A/N:
Whew, this was really fun to write! I pulled a lot of inspo from my experiences growing up and realizing that I was into girls. Struggling with differentiating the emotions I was feeling, how I had dramatic fights with girl friends for seemingly no reason, trying to figure out wtf was wrong with me and if other girls felt these things too. Hopefully some of y’all can relate to my attempt at writing teenage angst. I think it was important to flesh out some significant moments for reader and Ellie to really set the foundation for future summers.
Let me know what y’all think <3

A Hard Worker! e. munson

Description: Eddie feels jealous, so he fucks his best friend on top of the car he's fixing.
Warnings: mechanic eddie, dom!eddie, cheerleader!reader, oral sex, spanking, PiV, doggystyle, protective!eddie, degrading/praising.
You felt your feet throbbing the more steps you took. Returning from afternoon cheer practice was always harder than mornings. Carrying the entire day's tiredness, you had to get dressed, arrive at school, practice, and then, with painful limbs, walk back home.
Today's practice, though, was quite surprising.
As you paced, your mind wandered around the events that had taken place. Chance Peterson passed down a message to you through Linda Richards about his feelings as well as a sealed letter, which the girl delivered to you with a smirk on her face.
You were informed that it hadn't been opened by her or anyone else, but chances were she knew about what it contained since her boyfriend was best friends with the jock himself.
You kept on walking, holding it in your grip before the sign you were looking for eventually appeared in your eyesight.
"Thatcher Tires"
It was 9pm. The sun had completely gone down and the only light on the street you found yourself in was occasionally flickering. You tightly gripped the garage door before sliding it, revealing Eddie's half-worn overall, and half of his tank top-clothed torso covered in greases and stains.
Iron Maiden was blasting on the speakers, making Eddie unable to hear you enter. You swore this boy would get murdered one day.
He was the only one inside the store, and since his boss was missing, he had stayed overtime for whatever reason. Maybe he was too interested in the car he was working on or had gotten into an argument with his uncle back home, but either way, you were glad you did not walk here all the way for nothing.
Your friendship with Eddie wasn't considered weird or confusing to the surrounding people until high school. By the time you were a freshman, he was already a senior. It didn't take long until you became well-liked and even quite popular.
Everyone liked you. You were kind, polite and sweet so when everyone saw how close you were with your best friend who, while you were in middle school, had created a pretty scandalous impression, they assumed the worst for him and even tried talking you out of spending time with him.
Eventually, you had reached your senior year, which he had failed twice due to his low grades despite you trying to help him out of his D's and C's.
You walked towards the black Mercedes he was under, placing a paper bag of food on its hood before making your way to the speakers, turning the record off.
Eddie immediately wiggled out of his position, his hand over his heart as he panted, "Jesus!" he groaned, causing you to lightly smile, "Did I scare you, poor thing?" you innocently glanced at him, "Spare me."
He looked at the hood of the car, sending a glare at you, "You're not allowed to place stuff up here, y/n" you rolled your eyes at his words, approaching him, "You should be thankful I walked after practice just to bring my best friend something to eat," you punched his arm.
"Righ blessing us with your appearance after going M.I.A for a week," he scoffed, opening the bag, "I'm sorry, but you know we're preparing for the match this weekend." you sat next to him.
You did feel slightly bad because you knew he was right.
"Why did you stay overtime?" you questioned, stroking the boy's hair before putting them in a bun as he unwrapped his burger. Eddie always relaxed when you touched his hair, leaning against your hands. "I had nothing better to do." he took a bite.
"Plus, it's a nice car, isn't it?" he glanced at the vehicle with admiration. Ever since he was little, he fancied expensive and nice-looking rides. You hummed in agreement, watching his bangs slightly sticking on his glistening forehead as he ate.
"What's this?" he asked, his gaze traveling down on the envelope you had inside your grip. You glanced down, shaking your head with an awkward smile. "Nothing important."
His eyes narrowed, yet he said nothing to you, "Just... foolish boys," you pressed your lips into a thin line, striding around the garage in your cheer uniform.
"Ah, did you get a love letter, sweetheart?" he spoke with fake awe, before throwing away the wraper in his hands. You nodded in response, making your way to him.
"What does it say?" Eddie asked, but you simply shrugged, "You haven't opened it yet?" he questioned, "No,"
"What are you waiting for?" he encouraged, placing some of his tools inside a box next to the car. You gave the envelope another glance before carefully opening it, taking the letter it contained out.
You began reading it, Eddie's eyes fixated on you, but once the words on it sunk in, your eyes had gone wide, your cheeks beginning to heat up. "What? What's wrong?" the curlyhead asked, getting no reply from you.
"Sweetheart?" he called again, this time approaching you before his hand attempted to take the paper. You quickly shifted away, making him look at you with confusion, "y/n," he chased after you as you quickly paced away, taking your waist in his hands before slamming your back on his chest, "Eddie no!" you tried to escape his grip in vain before the boy successfully took the letter.
"You are so stunning. I'm losing my mind every time I come across you at school," he read out, your fighting not preventing him the slightest from continuing, "You make me feel like a fucking pervert whenever I touch myself to the thoughts of your beautiful body in my hands," he paused for a second, visible disturbance in his eyes, "Eddie!"
"I want you to be mine. I want to touch every single part of you. Meet me at the benches at eleven o'clock tomorrow, Chance."
He expressionlessly folded the paper, about to place it beside him when you reached to grab it out of his hand. "I told you to stop!" you glared at him. "So what are you going to do?" he avoided your eyes with a stiff look on his.
"What?"
"Will you meet him? Your jock friend, who wants to touch your beautiful body?" he moved his head to the direction of the letter, his hands crossed over his chest, "Maybe I will," you were unsure about this, you just wanted to piss him off and cut the protective act he always tried to sell you.
"Let me guess... Your other princess friends encouraged you? Hm?" you rolled your eyes at his choice of words, walking close to him, "If I want to meet him, I won't listen to them, or you," you looked up, defending yourself, but he only chuckled.
"So defensive, and for what? A fucking brainless douchebag who just wants to take your panties off?" you raised your eyebrows, slightly pushing him, "Because that's why a dude would only approach me right? To fuck me." you gritted your teeth.
"I didn't say that," he did not break eye contact once, his head moving closer to you, "You know damn well what kind of guy Chance Peterson is and what he has said about me, you just want to act all defensive because you're pissed that I'm looking after you," he spoke.
"Whether I decide to go out with him, I know what he wants. You're not my dad to tell me what you feel about anyone that is interested in me, Eddie!"
"Oh, so you just want to get fucked, don't you?"
Your eyes widened before your palm met the skin of his face, slapping him out of frustration, immediately bringing your hands in front of your mouth after the realization hit you.
Eddie hissed, his palm patting the soreness on his face, "I'm so sorry Eds!" you touched his cheek with worry, your spare hand on his chest, "God, I'm so sorry!"
He did not respond, something that worried you even more than the redness on his face. "I don't want his hands anywhere near you," he clenched his jaw when your eyes locked contact with his. You frowned your brows, your hand letting go of his cheek, "You don't have to prote-"
"No,"
Before you could question him, he spoke. "I'm not-" he paused, hitting the table next to him when his hand reached your waist, pulling you closer for his lips to touch yours.
Your eyes remained open, surprise making you unable to move, "I'm just fucking pissed," his head moved next to yours, lips near your ear, "Pissed that someone like him wants to touch my little girl," he whispered, your cheeks heating up.
His little girl...
You would have never believed neither that such words would come out of his mouth nor that they would have such an effect on you. His arms remained on your waist, "I almost lost it when you told me Mark Peron took your virginity last year," he sighed, "I'm not proud about it, it's just..." his forehead was placed on your shoulder, "I wanted to be the one that-" he stopped himself, moving away from you.
You were finally able to look to his entire figure walking away, the sweet taste he had left on your lips making your fingers brush over them.
"Let's go, I'll drive you home," he said, grabbing his van keys off the floor before you ran and took them out of his hand, "You wanted to take my virginity?" you eyed him, but he avoided contact, "I just wanted to make sure it felt good," he mumbled.
"Oh, I should be thanking you then!" you smiled sarcastically making him shake his head, "Let's just go, y/n," he's about to slide the door but you stay behind.
"Thank you for fantasizing about jumping me Eddie! You're the best!" you slide the door back close, giving him a judging glare as you stood in front of him, "Don't look at me like that," he swallowed, "Why? Does it make your dick hard?" you scoffed.
"Yes,"
His hand took your wrist, minimizing the distance when he once again kissed you, but this time you did not hold back. Your hands were instantly wrapped around your best friend's neck, pulling him even closer before you found yourself pushed against the cold wall, his knee managing to make it's way between your soft thighs.
He kept restraining himself from shifting his hands lower to your ass, but a loud groan left his lips once you guided them there yourself, keeping yours over his, encouraging to squeeze you tightly.
You threw your head back in pleasure, giving him the perfect chance to kiss and bite your warm neck, "So you did just want to get fucked, hm?" he smiled against you, making you whine in pleasure, "Because deep down, my little girl always happened to be a secret little slut,"
You returned your lips on his, the skin of your belly feeling his hard cock against you, "Eds," you moaned, causing him to sigh deeply, "Just tell me yes and I'll take you right here if that's what you want." he spoke firmly, his hand beginning to play with your panties under your skirt, pulling the elastic and letting it snap back against your skin.
"Yes, ye-"
He forced his tongue inside your mouth, pushing you back inside the workplace before his hand reached beneath your thighs, the boy pulling you on him.
Quickly, you felt the quick movement of spinning before you found yourself laying face down on the cold surface of the freshly fixed Mercedes.
He stood between your spread legs, lifting your skirt slightly before a groan escaped his lips, "What an ass..." you whined, trying to support yourself on the hood.
"Next time we argue you won't act like a deprived little whore," he leaned down, "Got it?" his left hand tapped your back. You kept your mouth shut, slight curiosity keeping you from agreeing when a scream escaped your mouth, his hand harshly spanking your ass.
"Answer Ms. 'beautiful body'," he rubbed your freshly red flesh, "Got it," you bit your lip, slightly arching. You felt ashamed, but you wanted more. His dominance made your cunt ache, a wet stain becoming visible on your pink panties.
"You like that don't you? Having your best friend call you a slut, his slut. I just can't wait to see how well you take my fucking cock," another spank followed.
"Eddie," your feet found his thighs, pulling him closer. The boy lost his balance, slightly falling over you before chuckling. His lips began kissing your ass. He licked and kissed hungrily, unable to get enough of it.
"See baby, how could I let any asshole kiss my little girl's beautiful ass? I'm so selfish, I want it all to myself," he lifted the bottom of your panties, licking a good strand of your exposed pussy.
You moaned loudly, holding back from hitting the car's hood. You needed to grip onto something desperately.
Maybe he was right. You felt like such a slut letting Eddie do this to you but it felt so damn good.
Spanks came one after the other, your ass feeling sore and painful, "Eds please, it hurts so good," you whined, a satisfied smile on his lips.
"Get on all fours for me, my beautiful," he dragged you lower on the car by your thighs, "Please fuck me," you cried out arching like a cat in front of him.
His dick ached as he watched you in your tiny skirt. You looked adorable, offering all your body to him. The boy pulled your underwear on the side wiggling his tongue against your folds. "Tastes like heaven," he moaned against you, caressing your back.
You loudly groaned, taking your shirt and bra off with out his call. He obviously hadn't noticed...
He kissed and sucked your pussy, the absence of fabric on your soft back making him look up, eyes secretly widening. He didn't hesitate, immediately reaching to touch one of your tits before continuing to suck you off.
You placed your hand over his larger one as he massaged you. Eventually, he managed to put yours under his, palming your own chest with you.
"Eddie- feels' so damn good!" you cried.
"Cum. Cum on my face, please goddess," he groaned, sloppy sounds of him eating your cunt filling the entire garage.
"Give me your sweet cum, please baby," he practically whined, his hand lightly slapping your tit.
You couldn't help it anymore. You let it all out, your body started to shake yet his tongue remained attached to you, patiently waiting for your leaks to reach his mouth.
"Mm, good girl," he praised, caressing your ass.
"I thought..." you swallowed, trying to catch your breath, "I thought you weren't allowed to place anything on the hood," you sighed, listening to his soft chuckle, "Stuff on the hood can cause damage. Your naked body is a blessing." he bit you softly, making you giggle.
The metalhead didn't waste any time before gently lifting you to place you on your back, finally watching your blushed face.
"Who's my naughty little girl?" he spoke softly, caressing your cheek, "Me," you grinned, bitting your lower lip.
"I'm your..." your confidence died down when you realized the position you were in, and acknowledged the way he was staring into your eyes, "Yes?" he hummed.
"Your naughty girl..." you whispered shyly, avoiding his eyes, "Excatly. See how easy you learn things?" your knee brushed his erection, making the boy moan.
He pulled down his overalls, palming himself over his tight boxers to ease some of the pressure. You took the chance to sit up and carefully begin undressing him off his tank top.
His tattoos came in display in front of your face before you started placing sloppy kisses on his belly, "Beg," he made you look at him.
"Beg me to fuck you," he spoke with a baby voice to you, your eyes looking at him with desire, "Eddie, I need you," you kissed him, "I need you inside of me, please." you moaned, "Please baby," you formed a hickey under his tattoo, one that he visibly appreciated.
"Spread those thighs for me, goddess," he smiled, softly pushing them apart, "I haven't done this in a while Eds," you nervously spoke when his lips found your forehead, "I'll take good care of you, don't worry,"
His tip started, rubbing your wet entrance, making sure every inch of you was wet and ready for him. Eddie slapped his dick against you a couple of times before slowly and steadily pushing the head inside of you.
You moaned, feeling your body being lowered down back on the cars cold surface, your best friend's body coming down with you. His lips played with your neck, a few hickeys being left.
Your hands moved on the back of his head, releasing his hair from your hair tie before running your hands through them, "More?" he bit your jaw, "More." you breathed feeling his dick sliding all the way in, "Oh shit!"
He began thrusting inside of you, at first softly before his pace fastened up, the sounds of your skins contacting each other feeling the room, "Eddie!" you pulled his hair, earning a loud grunt from him, "Want to cum again don't you?" he huskily spoke, when you nodded.
"Cum you fucking cockslut," he whined, "Come around my dick," he went slow but hard, making sure you took every inch of him.
You cried out loudly, your nails digging his entire back as your legs wrapped around his waist, "Let's see if that little cunt, Chance, can pound you like this," he moaned, his face buried in your neck.
The knot in your stomach finally released, warm cum running down your legs. Eddie immediately pulled out, beginning to pump himself over your belly, "Can I?" he questioned, and you nodded when you felt him leaking on your skin.
"Ho- holy shit," he cried, kissing your thighs individually, a few minutes passing by in silence for you both to catch your breaths.
"We should get going," he then broke the comfortable silence, a smirk plastered on his stupid face, "What? Why?" you frowned, worried that someone was here, "You have a date tomorrow," he winked when you hit his back, a chuckle escaping his gorgeous lips.
