It seems my disappearance from the LiMerge building has finally been noted. It was... expected. How long did it take, between my master noticing and eventually deciding to send assassins after me?

I find myself flattered. Two score mercenaries, a quarter of them force sensitive, and a handful of them mandalorian, beskaryc. If he had come in person, I would have felt it and fled, but that he sent such a strong showing is... oddly touching.

I feel that it’s not outside the Creed for outsiders to have beskar (jewelry, art, gifts, etc) but it would be outside the Creed for non-Mandalorians to have beskar armor. The armor is sacred and the vow and the helmet are one 👍

I like to imagine there's so many other, more subtle ways to use beskar in Mandalorian culture that doesn't involve armor or weapons. Such as artisans turning beskar into nearly weightless, hair-thin silver thread, used only for the most treasured clothing. Imagine a Mandalorian ceremonial cape with beskar thread embroidery forming a shimmering sprawl of embellishment along the hem, a garment so precious it's been passed down carefully for generations.

or perhaps a wedding gown, with the thread tracing and forming flowers from long ago that used to bloom on Mandalore's surface, before war desecrated the landscape and erased them from memory. Maybe a tapestry, belonging to a noble house, that has been so well maintained over the years that it mysteriously vanishes right before the Night of a Thousand Tears.

We know from canon that beskar used to be much more widely available, and of better quality than even Din's armor. Imagine all the amazing uses so many craftsfolk could have used it for in ways that were so integral and precious to Mandalorian culture.

This is just me, but also I feel like the big battle in mando chapter 21 is robbed of any tension because they spent so much time going "beskar is super invulnerable space metal that not even lightsabers can cut uwu" despite no works prior to mando making the armor out to be such, like am I supposed to feel worried that the mandos will lose or die? (come to think of it, I'm not sure any of them die) We know that beskar can survive starship grade cannons shot from orbit, why should I be worried here
