Finally getting this piece into a wood kiln. While I was working on my body cast pieces I realized that those pregnancy casts people charge an arm and a leg for are nothing but plaster wrap and really aren’t a casting. They are the mold and don’t show the true beauty of the body. I decided I wanted to do a pregnancy belly cast right, really do it justice. Only took a couple of years to find a willing pregnant friend. Today’s mission is to clean up my 40 week bump casting. I can’t believe I’ve put it off for nearly 9 months! (Photo of my bump casting straight out of the mould)

I’m literally so excited to display this casting in my renovated studio space 🤗

I will be adding the finishing touches to my at-home studio over the weekend so hopefully next week I can share some photos of the renovations 🤞🏼
