{Haruki and Z are about to use Beliarok, when the sword suddenly flies off on them.]
Beliarok: Ohh! I smell something nice!~
Haruki: Hey! Beliarok, come back! Where’d he go?
Z, looking around: There on that building!
[Sure enough they see the talking blade hovering on a rooftop, talking to a startled woman.]
Beliarok, sniffing R/n: I knew I smelled something good!~
R/n, who got yeeted to Z’s Earth: y-You look like Belial but you’re not, are you?
Beliarok, huskily: For you, I could be.~
Haruki: what the?
Z: I-...Is, Is Beliarok hitting on that woman?
[Long story short, Beliarok refused to leave R/n’s side threatening to bite or slice anyone who so much as looked at her funny. That was until her Belial found a way to retrieve her from Z’s world. Beliarok tried to follow them but R/n’s Belial sneered and was like “Sorry, but I don’t share.” and threw the sword back to Haruki and Z.]
Haruki: Aw... That sucks Rok.
Beliarok:...
Z: Don’t worry. Perhaps you’ll find your own R/n someday...
Beliarok, whose totally not crying *he is*: I don’t need your pity..... Just find me something to slice dammit!

Do you think all of the other Ultra's are weirded out by Beliarok? Cause like, that's Belial, who did almost kill all of them, and was once part of their ranks, but it's a sword. And it's not Belial, it's just based on him, but he talks like Belial and is an asshole like him, but he's friends(?) with Z and generally just does whatever.

" Well? All you have to do is try me out... "
Tumblr media
Koishi seemed hesitant at first but the fact this weapon is even willing to let her try him out the hard way seems a bit off but she is not gonna hold back. The dragon king now grabs him gripping tightly around the arm guard under his head. She examines him closely and sees how incredibly sharp he is as he reminded her of her knife.
" Soo, what now beliarok? "
Tumblr media
" Go outside and fight some bad guys. I wanna see the REAL dragon in you... "
Tumblr media
With beliarok now at her disposal she now walks towards the door only to pass by her wife who's now reading a book.
" Gods I'm gonna regret this... "
Tumblr media
" Koishi? Honey? You're up a bit late where are you going? "
Tumblr media
" I'm going out for a bit do you want anything? "
Tumblr media
" Bring me some ingredients for your favorite raspberry tea I would like to spend our time together... "
Tumblr media
" That'll be lovely...! I'll bring what you need. Love you.. "
Tumblr media
Right before she walks out Yukari opened the gap next to her where she pops out of it and plants a kiss on her cheek. Blushing out of her mind she chuckles and walked out of her home where now her smile fades as she felt awful for lying towards her but maybe after satisfying Beliarok she'll buy some tea over by neoxus city. The weapon in her hand is chuckling.
" You really love her do you? You never stop mentioning her... "
Tumblr media
" Listen here, leave my wife out of your mouth the reason why we're only outside cause you told me to just to kill enemies of gensokyo my home. "

Figure-Rise Standard Ultraman Z Original announced
For their next entry into the recent Figure-Rise Standard line of Ultraman model kits, Bandai have announced that they are to continue releasing New Generation Ultras with the popular Ultraman Z in his base Original form.
The first New Gen Ultraman kit to not be of a currently-airing series, the self-proclaimed student of Zero continues the characteristics of the line by reproducing his colours and details purely through parts separation; with no stickers required to recreate his body patterns. A new reflection cut process is used for the light behind Z's eyes and colour timer, and the movement in the neck and shoulders is expanded through sinking parts.
For accessories, Z Original comes with not just a Zestium Beam effect but also his signature Beliarok sword, which can be held either way up and recreates the DX toy's opening mouth gimmick with hinged parts. An alternate red colour timer is included, and rounding out the accessories are a large selection of expressive alternate hands such as pointing and gesturing to recreate Z's expressiveness in both the show and the voice dramas.
Figure-Rise Standard Ultraman Z Original releases at general retail in August 2023 for 3,520 Yen.

words cannot explain how much i love the zett haruki beliarok travelling trio. even if i don't zettpost nearly as much these days i never don't think about him. like they're so stupendously stupid and endearing and also very very funny and unique as a trio. they also have a ton of flexibility which ive never seen in other host-ultra duos (where they're either permanently together like ginga & victory or mostly separated post canon like daichi & x or hiroyuki & trisquad) haruki can be there or not meaning there's a lot of options for how zett in post canon material can handle things, who he can talk to ect. ect. and also it changes how beliarok interacts which i always enjoy. beliarok both being a fickle Pet?? and also the only person with braincells (who does not want to use it for anything but FUN) is a nice inversion of the typical rational person of the group. they're just chaotic and capable of intense power but also mostly harmless silly guys

A-Class Despair
Hagane wo Tsugu Mono: Ron and Obi train, when asked about Souma being alone, Ron explains Souma chose it, Ryuga spots Souma training alone, while Igusu tries to convince Mutsugi to have Ron take over duties in CREACITY, feeling Souma doesn't have the proper pride of a Makai Knight, as he is more concerned with waiting for Godou than protection, Mutsugi sympathises with Souma being unable to accept Godou is gone, which is why she also isn't going to ask Ryuga to take over, but Igusu stresses he feels the same way. Souma recalls once waking from a failed attempt to use the Flashing Cut, Godou encouraging him despite his own injury, but now Souma is still unable to use it, and stressed out over Ryuga's ability to, Ryuga and Koyori leave him for now. They find Mutsugi at a memorial to the Gate of Destruction's opening, when Inga first materialised in humans it opened, causing tragedy before it was sealed, Ryuga, respectful of the sacrifice those early Priests made, proposes they destroy the Gate so it cannot open ever again, Mutsugi seeing he is exactly the man Godou told her about, expressing that if Ryuga learnt the flashing sword so easily, he could be the world's hope. The three of them spot the man Koyori protected the other day being cruel to others, a little sickened, and while they sympathise, they reiterate what humanity does is not their business. Isuzu stops his pupil's training, and seeing Souma, Obi requests a bout and is ignored, when Ron asks he is rudely refused. Ryuga on the other hand, despite Ron's attempt to temper him, accepts Obi's request for a bout, and wins handily, but rebukes the young Knight for believing as a HAGANE he stood no chance. Ron fairs far better, a close match until Ryuga wins, and on hearing Ryuga's approval of him Isuzu intends to press the issue regarding the absence in CREACITY, Souma insists he is enough, challenging Obi and Ron together to prove it, and matching them pretty well even after Ron helps Obi get his tactics sorted. In the end Obi twists his angle, and Souma doesn't stop his "killing blow" until Ron blocks, at which point Ryuga insists the bout stop, angry at Souma for not stopping on his own, when Souma tries to argue he couldn't against a Horror Ryuga doesn't accept it. Isuzu decides to add Ron to CREACITY, and then Souma objects, Isuzu tries to get him to face reality, Gouda disappeared at the same time the Gate of Destruction became active, they must consider the possibility he had something to do with it. Souma is angry enough to draw his sword and demand he take that back.
New Generation All Stars: STORAGE's Ohta Yuka is stressed out from the order to submit and upgrade plan for SAA-1 Sevenger, feeling it is already perfect. She decides to review battle records, seeing an early battle against Demigra, and then battling Genegarg with Z, before recalling Haruki's eventual departure with Z, and wonders what he may be doing, before refocusing, and checking the record ls of Haruki's requested addition, the Rigid Core Iron Fist Rocket, and concludes there's potential for further fist based enhancement, like the Rigid Core Iron Drill Fist. She then considers swapping the legs for treads, making a Sevenger Tank, but realises that will impact mobility. Looking at the model of SAA-3, she considers external equipment, recalling how Yoko piloting Sevenger once made use of Beliarok and rode on the King Joe Carrier to defeat Barossa Seijin III. She considers a range of portable weapons, like the 40mm General-Purpose Autocannon, but then feels like they've done everything they could with Sevenger. She reviews Space Sevenger's attempt to help recover King Joe CUSTOM from Barossa Seijin IV with Z, and it being left behind while everyone else wound up in a different universe, but has a flash of inspiration and takes out the items Haruk brought back from that universe, the GUTS Sparklence and 5 Hyper Keys for Ultraman Z, but she hasn't been able to understand it. Her musing further is interrupted by the appearance of a mysterious robot.
Gotchard: Atropos presents Greyon with the newly captured Angelead, and he uses it to create a Malgam with power over life and death, inspiring him to resume a 10-year old experiment. The currently closed Kitchen Ichinose is visited by one Edami Kyouka, while Spanner, still trying to understand why he can't be Kamen Rider, is visited by two unexpected people. His parents. Kyuka explains to the kids that she has been replicating the Gotchardriver for Spanner, but there are two major problems. One is the fact that it's tuned to use MadWheel and DaiOhni, the other is she fears Spanner will be consumed by dark flames. She explains what she knows, the Associafion branded Kudoh Fuga a traitor, even though it was Greyon who tried to open the Door of Darkness, and when Spanner's parents, expert combat alchemists confronted him, they should have been able to defeat him. Kyouka's explanation is halted by a message from Spanner informing her his parents are back. Which is bad given they died 10 years ago. Indeed the Malgam intrudes in the families happiness, reveals the parents are dead, then severely injures Spanner so he can watch his parents die again. Before that is finished, as Lachesis mourns her mutt has become boring, Ichinose and Kudoh arrive on GoldDash. They fight the Malgam, and Spanner tries to escape with his parents, only for Greyon to appear, alongside Minato, and seize the two and bind Spanner, who now remembers witnessing their death at Greyon's hands, forcing him to watch, even preventing Fire Gotchard from assisting when Spanner discards his pride and asks for help, and even begging Minato for help until his parents aphave crumbled to dust. Spanner's grief materialises as a bitter rage and literal black flames, the same power Greyon saw from him that day, and Greyon uses MadWheel to turn Spanner into a Valvarade Malgam, wildly trying to hit Greyon, who celebrates his completed experiment and leaves, as Spanner attacks everyone, Minato watches a moment before leaving. After the Angel Malgam is gone, Spanner, calms, but claims the man he was is gone. The team discusses the situation, and on learning Spanner is probably going after Kyouka, Ichinose wants to go to save him. Spanner arrives at at Kyouka, angrily demanding to know why she erased his memory and if everything was a lie, but she insists it was to protect him, 10 years ago Greyon took note of the dark flame but had other things to do at Clotho's prompting, and when Kyouka grabbed Spanner to protect him, his power going wild caused a bad scar on her arm. She wanted him safe from Greyon's manipulations. She taught him to not rely on emotion and comforted him whenever the memories returned, but he believes her getting him to shackle his powers why he's unable to match Kudoh and Ichinose. As the Angel Malgam attacks the arriving Gotchard and Majade, Spanner believes this power of the abyss will allow him to win, tells Kyouka they're done, and rejects her offer of the Driver, instead intruding on the battle and returning to Malgam form, determined to destroy Greyon.
Kingohger: Grodie, still seeking death, rampages in Ishabana with his zombie Bugnarok, Himeno attempts to use her Royal Power, the power of death on him, which reverts him to human form and causes him to spill a load of corrupted Shugod Souls from his body, he angrily goes after Dugded, who encourages him to remember. Himeno runs analysis on one Shugod Soul they recovered, and they discuss that Grodie must be the same as Gira, only he has consumed far more Souls and forgotten everything. Now aware of his inability to die, Grodie decides he can only find peace by killing everyone. Jeramie has Racles help him dig graves as part of his efforts to teach the Bugnarok to value life, and Racles explains he believes Jeramie should also have inherited a royal symbol, suspecting Ryneol may have deliberately allowed his parents to escape to hide that power, noting Jeramie has maintained his youth for so long. Jeramie shows a gem implanted in his chest, realising this must be it. Himeno wants to test her power on Gira, getting angry when he suggests he doesn't want to be immortal, feeling that an end to death should be what she aspires to, and after telling Gira he is human save for his healing, on learning Jeramie's secret, hopes she could not only end death but bring the dead like her parents back. Himeno tells her parents' grave she may see them soon, while Jeramie discusses with Gerojim death, and while the long centuries of losses and new friendships, ups and downs haven't been terrible, he finds himself wishing he could age and die with his friends. Jeramie and Himeno agree to a plan after the analysis is finished. When Grodie next attacks, the two unite to face him, as the others start wishing they didn't have to keep putting down the endless horde. The pair string Grodie up, and Himeno reveals the result of her analysis, Grodie is already dead, a victim of his own power. This their solution is to use the Venomix Shooter to fire the gem, extracted using Himeno's power earlier, to restore him to life. It succeeds, but before they can do more with their plan Grodie resurrects more Bugnarok, and reanimates the legions of Semishugods, bringing about a new Fury of the Gods.
555 Murder Case: I would say I have a pretty good knowledge on the post-2000 toku, at least from the big three. That said though, there are still a few of those series from the early 2000s I haven't watched yet. On the Sentai side those 4 series are not ones that are ever going to have full reunions (if there really is a Boukenger one in 2 years don't @ me), and the same is true for Rider...now that as of writing this I have 4 episodes left of 555 (I'm not starting the special until I'be finished). Still I knew enough that as soon as I saw they were doing this, without checking the cast release, I knew the returning cast were going to be Handa Kento, Haga Yuria, Murakami Kohei and Karahashi Mitsuru, all of whom have reprised their roles relatively recently. Fujita Ray was more surprising, but only because he hasn't reprised his 555 role since the show. 555 has also had one of the most consistent post-series presences, with cast returning in Decade, GP and Outsiders, and being central to the plots of Taisen, 4 and The Mystery, not to mention Inoue's infamous novelisation (which both has things I hate, like Kusaka's actions against Mari and somethings I wish had made it to the show, like the irony of Kusaka becoming and Orphenoch, and at least on a conceptual level Yusuke), and the ongoing 913 manga. But forget all that, because the only thing relevant to these 20th anniversary specials is the show itself (and maybe, given the title choice, Paradise Lost. All of this has been said without watching this special, which I will now get to. Also, just in case anyone's confused why the second part is coming out in like 3 months, that's just before when the V-Cinext releases, whilst this one was promote the theatrical run.
For the first time, Kikuchi Jotaro is able to witness the double henshin of his uncle's friends into Next Faiz and Next Kaixa, and recalls how this started. At Kikuchi Cleaners, while Kusaka spied on the youths, Kei told Kouta, Jotaro, Hisao, Jotaro and Reina how the horoscopes definitely says she and Kouta will marry, Jotaro enquires about himself and Reina, while Hisao points out horoscopes aren't real. Reina instead asks about herself and Takumi, at which point Kusaka intervenes, wakes Takumi up, and the two tell Jotaro that if there's no work for his friends to do he needs to lay them off, regardless of what Keitaro says. Mari returns home with a goldfish she found in the street. While Takumi objects to keeping it as a pet, everyone else follows Kusaka's lead in agreeing with Mari they'll keep it, and in the end Takumi can't help feeding it. As Mari deals with a "friendly" customer, Takumi discovers "Kin" is gone, and then Reina finds the customer dead, and then before everyone's eyes he crumbles to dust, meaning an Orphenoch must be responsible. Kusaka challenges us to find the culprit, I'll give you a clue, it's Kin.
Of course Kusaka's alive, why wouldn't he be?

hullo have you watched Z yet and what do you think of my best boi
Yes! Z was actually kind of part of my experience getting into Ultraman -- it wasn't my first, but it was the show that was coming up at the time and we were slowly getting information about it; and as someone who started with Orb that made the whole question over Aoyagi's casting VERY entertaining. I watched the first like 5 New Gen shows and the Zero movies before it aired but it was always there, hovering in my mind.
And then when it hit it HIT, boy! One of my top 3 Ultraman shows which also puts it in my top 10 Tokusatsu shows, really really liked it. Fantastic synthetisation of everything good about Ultraman while also challenging it in a seriously meaningful way, all strung along by really entertaining shit between Juggler and Beliarok and everything to do with STORAGE. Absolutely amazing memories as well due to it being the first simultaneous broadcast; so I was right there screaming with SO many friends alongside me which isn't an experience I get to have often with Toku!
tl;dr -- kind-of one of my first Ultra series that's stayed with me as an incredible experience and an all-around amazing show

Z: As long as nothing really bad happens between now and then, you'll be fine.
[Beliarok and Haruki groan}
Haruki: Are you crazy? What did you say that for? Now something bad is gonna happen.
Z: What do you mean? Nothing's gonna happen.
Beliarok: Not until some dummy says, "As long as nothing bad happens."; It's the ultimate jinx!
Haruki:What were you thinking?! Or were you even thinking at all?
Z: You don't know... Maybe this time it'll be different...
{It was not different and not even a minute after this conversation they're ambushed by a group of aliens.]

Guess what's ready for digital order! It's @ultra-zine!!!
Tumblr media
Okay look I know that my very first post said that I wasn't a figure person. That has obviously changed and I have officially fallen into the SH Figuarts rabbit hole. I preordered Blazar plus I want to get Zero and all of Z's forms. Send help, lmao
Full disclosure: I did contribute something to this zine, which is one reason why I haven't done many liveblogs lately. (I'm still a little emotional about seeing something I've written in print.) I wrote Chill Out, It's Snow Problem, though that was before I saw the dub for Z. Watching that notably changed how I write Z's verbal tics.
I had a hard time with this story because my first draft was like 4500 words. I had to cut out a lot and that was a painful experience! Granted, for me editing is always a painful process, but I'm of the opinion that if it doesn't hurt in one way or another, I'm not editing enough. I'll probably toss up the longer version on AO3 eventually though. It actually really, really hurt to cut as much as I did and I want those parts to see the light of day in one way or another.
There were some scenes that I wanted to write but didn't even make it into the first draft. There was originally going to be a scene with Z taking control of Haruki's body with his permission and skating at an ice rink because my headcanon is that Z would be really good at it. Yes, that scene from episode 7 has been living rent-free in my head for way too long. I also thought Z skating in Haruki's body would be a fun scene for the artist (in this case the amazing @chacerider, though I didn't know that at the time) to use for the illustration if they wanted. Beliarok was going to appear too, but I couldn't think of a way to get him in there in a way that I was happy with.
Originally the story started in Haruki's apartment before going to STORAGE, which actually did make it into the first draft. I had to choose between scrapping that whole intro or paring down the emotional beats that came later. The choice was obvious. Oh yeah and I had Haruki nearly get hit by a truck in the first draft. Fun! Still had to cut it, though.
Haruki and Z being able to tell how the other is feeling or emotions bleeding from one to the other isn't exactly something that happens in canon, I know. It's pretty much me taking the idea of Haruki's emotional state having a big effect on Z in episode 12 and then dialing it up to 11. I like the idea of there being side effects (for lack of a better word) to merging, and I wanted to explore how the friendship between Z and Haruki might develop if there was a lot more unintentional emotional openness. I'll also fully admit that I stole some things from Geed. Leito and Zero's conversations when they're out and around regular people was the big one, and while Z does take control of Haruki's body in episode 7 for a second, I was really more thinking of Geed's early episodes and how Zero would take control of Leito's body basically whenever he felt he needed to.
If you made it to the end, thanks! The link to read my story on AO3 is below. If you didn't manage to grab a physical edition of the zine, you can get a digital version of it and the previous volumes here!

So, you know how the Beliarok is basically a weapon themed after Belial and all? Well, what kind of weapon that was the same as the Beliarok be if it were Ultraman Tregear instead? Like what kind of weapon would it be and what could it do? Also how do you think it would behave and all?
I think this boils back down to the very convenient weaknesses that Greeza has that I talked about extensively back when Z was airing that it all has to do with Reiblood's Reionyx genes (and by extension, the Belial Virus) having some very, very unique properties to merge with a spacetime anomaly's failsafe device to form the Beliarok
I cant comment beyond this since we just simply dk enough about Reiblood at this point
For Toregia, your implicit assumption is that Grimude's power would even interact with the key in the same way the reionyx genes would
Again, no idea as all we know is that Grimude predates the M78 Universe, and the reason for his seal is curiously enough the same reason why Greeza manifested back in Z when Bullton was defeated, to "maintain balance in the universe". Note the similar choice of words used here. In the broader context, we can interpret that both Greeza and Grimude probably live in the space in between universes, which we know exists in the Revenge of Belial Movie
So there would probably be some reaction between Grimude's power and Greeza's key
Tho i highly doubt itll result in something like the Belialrok
But tbh, even the Belialrok's existence is highly ambiguous at this point, since it has free will and we've seen that it is attracted to its progenitors like Geed and Belial, but its inevitably a Reionyx. Why am I saying this is because we know from the leaks that the Regulus special episode (essentially the prelude for UGF4), Reiblood has returned and theoretically, even as a small soul fragment, he should be able to assert enough influence on it same with Geed actually (which is why I said that Geed is actually a ticking time bomb since Reiblood is such a legendary existence)
So I suppose the same logic would apply with this hypothetical Toregiarok. However, Ill have to bring up another point about Grimude thatll differ from Reiblood's circumstance, is that based on the Toregia novel (that is canon), its said that after absorbing some of Grimude's power, Toregia literally gained the ability to be unkillable,
Since every time he dies, another version of him in the multiverse would take his place in whatever universe hes in. So I suspect that this is the same as Grimude. However, for his ability to be this ridiculously overpowered, I suspect that the Grimude we saw itself in the Taiga movie was also but a fragment of something even more grander, similar to the Reiblood soul fragment logic
Tbh, whatever this being is would have to be stronger than Reiblood since we know just how powerful a soul fragment of Reiblood is based on the feats and durability of the one we saw back in NEO and obviously we can see that fragment Grimude is far stronger than fragment Reiblood (assuming each soul fragment is equally powerful of course)
Another point ill have to bring up is that Reiblood is stated dead (as ambiguous and suspicious as that canon statement is since no one knows how he died), but the whereabouts of the being that Grimude is a fragment of is unknown.
So how does all this really translate to your question?
It inevitably comes down to whether it can really have its own free will or nah.
Since for the Beliarok's case, Reiblood is dead, and it was made from Geed's Reionyx genes (Without any of Reiblood's soul fragments) so Reiblood's influence is so diluted by the time it gets to the formation of the Belialrok
For the hypothetical Toregiarok's case, Grimude is obviously far more powerful than Reiblood's soul fragment (im NOT saying Reiblood himself btw) and the true progenitor of Grimude is unknown at this point, but since a fragment is alr so ridiculously powerful, I suspect its still somewhere cruising in the gaps between universes.
By extension, Im scaling this "True Grimude" above Reiblood, especially since the latter was scaled as a Universal Threat whilst Grimude himself predated the universe, so it wont be far fetched to say that Grimude himself was a universal threat, especially since his sealing was neccessary to "maintain the balance of the universe", by extrapolation, True Grimude would probably be a multi-universal threat at least if we go off the scaling of Reiblood's soul fragment to Reiblood's stated feats
Thus, imo itll be far more powerful than the Belialrok, with far more influence over spacetime such as what we saw with Grimude and Toregia, but on a lesser scale. But as said, assuming the progenitor is still alive, no idea to what extent itll have a will of its own, or simply another Grimude
Ye this answer got off the rails real quick since all this is very much deep-cut, bottom-of-the-iceberg stuff, especially since we're talking about something even older than universes, potentially even older than the DoL which I scaled approximately 10^9000x stronger than an average New Gen so inevitably we're talking about existences that are far, far beyond the Legendary Ultras
Thanks for the question!
