(this is really unedited) hmmmmmmm i think that it might have been like- Seokjin and the reader who first started to get sexually involved. since he was like the oldest one he probably felt more than a little conflicted about it. maybe during their etiquette lessons or just before, when she likes- forgets they’re supposed to have one and he walks in on her pleasuring herself. 

and he knows it’s wrong- knows he could get killed for looking at the future queen like this but. “show me how to be good Seokjin- I don't want my wedding night to be my first time- I don't want him to be my first time, I want to know what it's supposed to feel like when someone cares about me” and Seokjin- Seokjin might not love you yet- but he definitely understands your desperation. hell- Seokjin is in love with 6 other people and he’s just desperate for them to all get along most days. Seokjin is definitely the one whose the most poly out of all of them. 

so he shows her how it’s supposed to happen, and they both cum but no penetration happens (because Seokjin’s still a proper man down to his core), and then after I think she realizes like “fuck- I love sex? sex actually feels really good?” and she starts to slowly explore other things. Decides she actually does want to lose her virginity, not to her husband and probably has kind of a mutual virginity loss moment with Hoseok. Who regrets it a little afterward. 

Only because he’s not really sure that he should have- worried that he pressured her or something and only after they talk about it do they both realize that yeah- they both wanted it and there isn’t a problem with what they did as long as her fiance Doesn't find out. and honestly, the king is often visiting his cities and out on hunting trips (where he often kills more people than game). he’s so rarely at the castle and Hoseok is more than happy to help you explore your sexuality when it mutually benefits him. 

I think that Hoseok used to be a child Theif- and he had a certain amount of years that he needs to serve to not become a fugitive. and he only has a few more years before he gets his freedom. no matter the kind of bullshit that Namjoon totes about wanting to serve the crown and stay together- no. Hoseok just wants his freedom back. i think maybe namjoon confessed to hoseok recently- and hoseok didn’t take it well. before that hoseok would always try to convince namjoon to run away with him and namjoon would always try to convince hoseok to stay but the fact that namjoon’s in love with him- would feel alot like betrayl to hoseok because namjoon hadn’t been honest. 

 then he realizes- even after you get married- if you still want him the same way you do now he might have it in him to be something of a courtesan if he so desired. Not that the king would like that very much- it might be beneficial to him to be in your favor in the courts. maybe he could make a name for himself. 

of course, he eventually grows to love you- but it complicates his whole situation with Namjoon. because Namjoon’s been in love with him since they where children and while they all fool around (because they all have sex drives and urges that need to be fufilled and long since had the agreemend of helping each other out) making ties isn’t apart of the plan. i picture namojoon peppering kisses and “im sorry’s” down hoseoks chest one night and hoseok kind of melting. 

but slowly- when Hoseok starts to see the way you look at each other- when Namjoon’s hand touches yours he starts to get jealous and he’s not sure who of- he finds himself going harder with Namjoon at night, and then fucking you equally as hard and passionately with you in the morning. even when he and Jungkook fool around, trading mouths and hands in a way that seasoned lovers only do. 

maybe thats a bit of an i’m sorry in its self- jungkook knows it’s not hoseoks fault- hoseok is beautiful and charming and like sunshine- anyone could fall in love with him. jungook gets why namjoon loves him- he really does- hoseok’s so easy to love. and the affection in jungkook’s eyes weighs on hoseok. he’s not used to strings keeping him places but something in all of you keeps him here. there is somethings squirming under hoseok’s skin and he doesn't realize it until one evening when you talk with Seokjin, Hoseok standing at the door.

“he’s coming home tomorrow night to help with the wedding, I guess we’ll have to postpone our usual etiquette lesson as he’s already written he’s coming to my chambers that night” and Hoseok- Hoseok is just enraged- sitting by the door- at the thought of your husband touching you the way the 7 of them do- enraged at all of it being outside of his control and suddenly- hoseok gets it. he dosent want you to marry your husband. he doesn't want you to have to go through any of it. he wants to preserve the balance you’re starting to have. he’s in love with you and he’s staying- he’ll see this through.  

i think the sex with the others kind of starts in a different way, more of a sensual way. maybe one day they go for a horseback ride and she convinces them to swim in a secluded part of the river and though she keeps her underdress on they can still see all of her body through the thin fabric. and tae wishes for once that he wasn’t so obviously large. because he’s Poking out of his pants and he knows you see his errection, jimin licking his lips as he looks at it across the stream. cocking his eyebrows at him in question.

 you catch him staring. and i think maybe you tease all like “are you alright officer Taehyung? your uniform looks hot in this heat- are you sure you don’t want to cool off with me?” and he does- even under the watchful eyes of the others. and it's only because it’s Jimin and Seokjin that they watch- that tae feels brazen enough to touch you, finding your wetness under the water and pressing with the pads of his rough fingers in a way that he knows feels good. the same way he fingered jimin open this morning, a look says that seokjin and jimin are staring and squirming. and maybe jimin’s hand slowly comes down between her legs a little, rubbing slow teasing circles through her clothes to tease her. enough that by the time she’s getting off the horse she’s stumbling into Jungkook’s chest by the stables. “come kookie- our lady is tired and must return to her rooms” no one bothers to mention that Jimin’s shift is over. 

i think the last one to bed the reader is yoongi- probably soon after her wedding and the first time she and him are alone together without any of the others. yoongi is particularly reserved and i picture him kissing the Backs of her hands and then each of her fingers in the candlelight and slowly grabbing at the ribbons on her dress. and he’s angry- angry that he couldn’t taste her before the king had a chance.  though he’s gone away and left her here again. left her to be lonely and left her all for them. and yoongi won’t miss his chance this time. 

“its time for you to get ready for bed my queen- let me help you” and he undresses her so so slowly and carefully and then sits her back and slowly enters her. treats her like a husband should on her wedding night, gentle and at her pace. so loving and slow and full of needy breaths and aching touches.  thats the first time it’s making love with any of you- because yoongi loved her right from the begining.

 i imagine him kissing down her stomach murmuring against her skin “he dosent deserve you”

and yoongi means it when he looks up at her “least of all me” but thats something that she can fix. the way he dosent feel deserving of it all or any of it at all. ive got like- maybe a whole idea for yoongi’s chareter arc in this.

What if the Potters heard about the prophecy before Lily even gotten pregnant. Which Lily and James potter seach the whole Potter library a ritual that would send them to another workd since they wanted a child of their own but they aren't willing to have one when their a possible prophecy on her/his head. Sirius Black help and found a ancient dimension travel ritual.

Sirius Black decided to fallow them melt all their fortune into a magical trunks they know this ritual is a one time thing they could never return in this world again and that their's a possible they could lose their magic and de-age but they are willing to take the risk just so they could one day have a child of their own.

Lily & James Potter and Sirius Black are all de-age to 10 years old again so they have actual grow up again since physically their 10 years old again and Lily and James can't be married when their just kids. They also adopt to their new world learning about their new home and what are those odd creatues are called Pokemon. They learn everything they need in a year and all three of them are registered as orphans.

The next year, they got their trainig licence, James Potter got his first partner which is a Charmender, Lily has Bulbasaur and Sirius has squirtle before traveling different region for 8 years that James Potter & Sirius Black became well known Pokemon Master, and Lily became one of the top Pokemon Coordinator along side Johanna Berlitz of Twinleaf Town.

After turning 18 years old James and Lily got married again started their own business in Pallet town buying 25 arce of lands for the pokemon run around ptotecting the fruit trees they grew and sales each year, which their pokemon protect from any theifs. They also had their own brand jams and honey along with sales Milktank's milk in capsules. While Sirius became a police in Twinleaf Town.

All three of them has long accepted the lost of their magic they know the risk when they did the ritual to travel dimension but in exchange of lossing their magic they gain psychic abilities so their not completely powerless. And all three of them are powerful psychic.

It wasn't long before Lily & James Potter final started their own family, they have a beautiful daughter by the name Diantha Potter. Their beloved daughter look nothing like them both but that dosen't mean that they love her anyless than they do she has pink lock instead of raven or red lock like her parents but it most likely the side effect of using the ancient dimension travel ritual to move in this dimension leaving their old one to make a family which they have no regret using. Even if James and Sirius miss Remus but if they have told him the plan he would most likely told Dumbledor and they couldn't have done the ritual and they most likely dead so they have no regret what's so ever they had the chance to rise their daughter. Even if it took a while grow up again.

Diantha Potter grow up with the son of Red Satoshi and Blue Oak, Ash Ketchum and Blue Oak who are like her brothers she never had, even when the boys became rivals they still treated her the same but they try not to fight when she's with them.

Ash Ketchum is born in one night stand between Delia Ketchum and Red Satoshi before he got together with Yellow, while Gary Oak is the only son of Leaf Green and Blue Oak. So it was rare for Ash to see his father Red Satoshi since he kept avoiding Delia Ketchum. So visit ash is rare, and being the Champion of Kanto also kept him busy and it dosen't help anything that his married to Yellow now. And with Ash being a Mama's boy didn't help anything at all.

Leaf and Blue Oak never like Delia at all when they were kids especially now that they are adult not even Lily and James Potter like her very much. They don't want their children around Delia at all to pick up any of her habit of control she is of her own son's life. That she verly even agree to allow Ash to have his Pokemon Journey at all. If it weren't for Red Satoshi, Leaf and Blue Oak convincing her otherwise.

3 years later...

Diana Potter is now 10 years old starting her Pokemon Journey, and she knows that Professor Oak would forget that 6 trainers would begin our journey so I called my godfather to have one of Sinnoh starter, Piplup the Penguin Pokémon, which is a water type pokemon as her starter and he promise that he would catch her one and sent it to Professor Oak's lab.

She got her traing licence from Professor Oak along with Piplup as her starter and she also register the Pokemon Egg that her mother's Togekiss gaved her. Before leave on her journey at the same time as Gary while Ash was running as fast as he can to get to the lab to have a start that proffesor Oak might still have with him but I didn't stay long enough to see what start he gotten.

When I check my Pokédex to see the moves Piplup already knows are:

Diana decided to catch a few water pokemon if she is going stand a chance against Brock when she gose to Pewter Gym Which is a rock type specialist. I went fish and unexpectedly catch a

Finneon the Winged Fish which came from Sinnoh but never the less I catch it with the help of Piplup and it was male. And the next pokemon I catch is a

Seadra the Dragon Pokémon which Piplup has a little hard time but they catch him before they end up catching a dratini of all things since it's rare to see one in the wild and a shiny Dratini at that.

tI also catch him Piplup berly won her battle with dratini but in the end she catch her is now one of her pokemon. I check on what moves Finneon already know and they are:

Which her three new water pokemon are all powerful so I should be able to get the boulder badge from Pewter Gym, but I shouldn't under underestimate him at all no matter what. After all Brock is a Gym leader so he should be powerful in his own right.

After arriving at Viridian City, I quickly went to have my pokemons and togepi egg check I waited for an hour before check out and enter the viridian forest, while I was their train my four pokemon while I was their my Pokemon egg finally hatch into a togepi

I also caught few more pokemon while I was their and they are:

A male and Famale combee, a shiny caterpie which the three addition of their team quickly join traing except for Togepi since she's still a baby she would start her traing until 3 weeks from now. It only took a week before her combee evolved into Vespiking and Vespiquen and caterpie evolved into a pink butterfree.

3 weeks later, I start traing Togepi in a short of a week she master moves set

Before I finally arrive at Pewter City but I didn't challenge Brock right away I train my Pokemon some more before Challenge him and his onix, which Piplup berly won his battle his is powerful.

Ash Ketchum finally catch of Diana and challenge Brock but the first time he challage brock he lost that he tried again 3 days later and evenutally manged to get the boulder badge. And Diana decided to travel with Ash, Brock and the Girl name Misty.

In order for both Ash and Diana to get to Cerulean Gym to get the Cascade Badge they all need to past Mt. Moon where they encounter Team Rocket try to steal the Moon stones from the clefairy and they manged tostop them and return the moon stone evolving Clefairy to Clefable that also the time Togepi evolved to Togetic (Flying/Fairy Type).

But Togepi wasn't the only one of Diana's pokemon to evolved but so did her starter Piplup who evolved into Prinplup.

It wasn't long before Diana taught Prinplup (water Type) new moves and they are:

Diana think the reason she found pokemon from other region in Safari zone was thanks to her Potter luck her father was always telling her growing up. after saving the safari zone master from Team Rocket and preventing them the Dratini that's in Safari Zone. Diana decided to travel with Ash for a while.

Diana train all her pokemon even harder that it was no suprise to her that alot of them full Evolved into a powerful pokemon even then they didn't stop training until 3 days before Indigo League happen by then her Start is already a powerful Empoleon a water/steel type pokemon and with her pokemon mostly come from other region other trainer has it harder to counter her pokemon since they have no idea who they are dealing with. So it was no suprise to Gary that Diana Potter became the indigo league champion with no problem with how strong her pokemons are.

This was not the particular brainworm I was planning on having today, but here it is, I guess...

So, the Beauty and the Beast 2017 remake, right?  The barely-there subplot about Belle’s mother dying from the plague that they felt the need to shove in for some reason (my theory is they needed to give her and the Beast some common ground because God knows they have zero chemistry in this version)?  I figured out another reason it doesn’t work.  

Because Belle’s mother has almost nothing to do with the woman she grew up to be.  Everything we’re told about her is through informed character traits everyone tells us about secondhand, and she died before she had a chance to even raise her daughter.  From strictly a storytelling standpoint, her role in Belle’s character is extremely minimal.  Instead, Belle is very much her father’s daughter, especially the version we see in 2017 played by Kevin Kline.  They’re both highly sensitive and resourceful people who stand against the small-minded townspeople (giving Maurice a chance to tell Gaston what for was just... *chef’s kiss*), and Maurice encourages Belle’s creativity and curiosity.  Belle’s also shown to be very intuitive to her father’s needs, helping him with his music boxes before he even knows what tool he needs to grab.  We see their relationship being built up in a subtle, but genuinely heartwarming way even before she risks her life to save him, and we see how much they have in common.

This is what sets Belle up as a better foil to the Beast.  There’s a line in this version where it’s revealed that the Beast’s father was emotionally abusive and tried to “twist” his son into becoming more like him.  He didn’t completely succeed--at least, the movie wants us to believe he didn’t--but those scars and shards of a twisted worldview are there.  The relationships both of the protagonists have with their fathers shapes who they became: they’re both lonely people who feel isolated and misunderstood, but while Belle had Maurice... the Beast had no one.  Not even the servants, who would have been fired or worse for trying to speak out against their old master; they became much more involved in his life later, but that was presumably after the Beast’s father had died and left him without any guiding figures.  If we could see Belle and the Beast commiserating over this aspect of their lives, rather than their relationships to dead mothers who had very little impact on them, it would feel so much less forced, and it would make the Beast’s apology for calling Maurice a theif more heartfelt.  Through exposure to Belle, a kind and intelligent woman raised by a kind and intelligent father, the Beast starts to see some of his own potential in her--that there are better outlooks on life than the one his own father instilled in him.  He learns from her, and he becomes like family to Belle, even before they realize their love.  To me, that feels like a more organic arc for the characters.

(It also eliminates the need for the Magic Teleportation Book plothole, but that’s a minor point.)

Unpopular Opinions: Fandom Edition

Hey none of you asked but I’m here to deliver so here are some unpopular opinions for the fandoms I’m in. Spoilers, duh.

Marvel:

I don’t like Natasha. Or Steve.

Pepper Potts is a top.

As much as I love Loki, his death was nessicary in Infinity War.

Steve should have killed Bucky in Civil War. He was a threat, plain and simple.

I ship Ironstrange/Supremefamily.

Clint should have died in Infinity War.

I love Tony Stark with my whole heart. (Not an unpopular opinion but you needed to know that)

I’m not happy with the end of Endgame.

10 years in the making....for you to do Thor like that?

Not because he’s fat or because he’s dealing with trauma, that’s totally acceptable.

What’s not acceptable is them making Thor into the butt of the joke because he’s fat.

I love the Antman movies.

I’m totally not biased because I loved lost.

Shuri is the best Marvel character and would beat Tony Stark in a battle of wits.

With as many years as Marvel has had the MCU, I am disgusted at the lack of diversity within the movies.

I think that, as much as I hate Natasha and Steve, they should have been the ones that Bruce first sees in Infinity War. I know it set up the whole “earth is closed today” sequence but it didn’t make sense and was OOC.

I love Stephen Strange and he’s never done a single thing wrong ever in his life I would die for this man.

I like MCU Peter Parker over the origional movie Spider-Man.

I don’t ship Bellarke that hard.

Like yes, I think they’re obviously being groomed to end up together. I know the show runners will make them official before the end of the series. I’m not mad about that, I just don’t really care to be honest. It’s like, too obvious.

What they did to Monty was bullshit but what they did to Jasper was worse.

I feel no guilt whatsoever in saying that I think that killing all of Mount Weather was what they should have done from the beginning.

Yes, even the kids. Because if you kill their leaders, the men and women will fight back. The colony would have been left with a handful of adults, and a bunch of kids if the origional plan had worked. This is doomed to fail and honestly just killing them all would be better than seeing them kill eachother for food, power, whatever. If that makes sense.

I think that Finn deserved to die.

I think that Murphey deserves the world.

Charlotte fucking killed Wells. Yes she’s young but she knows better than to kill someone. Maybe not kill her, but we all know that Clarke wouldn’t have banished her like she did Murphey. Clarke has a gender bias because Murphey didn’t do anything and she wouldn’t have punished Charlotte as hard because she’s a young girl. I rest my case

Even though what he did was bad and wrong, I don’t think Murphey should have been banished. He’s right. They were all compliant and even excited when he was being hung, but when it’s a little girl all bets are off.

Like Bellamy brought the whole hostage thing upon himself because he fucking tied a noose around Murphey’s throat.

Again, not that what Murphey did was right. He didn’t have to act like that. Jasper didn’t do anything to him.

Also this segment is getting long but the show writers and everyone else just casually forgot that Murphey was TORTURED? Hello? Are we not going to acknowledge that?

Another actually popular opinion: what they’ve done to Raven’s character this season is bullshit. Her only role is Abby’s moral compass. This is the same girl who shuttled to earth in a Tin Can. She’s better than this.

Like they set up his character to be really important this season.

The opening of season three is so weak that I actually stopped watching the show around that time (I’d been watching since the beginning of season two) because there’s just nothing there in the first like 10 minutes and I couldn’t do it.

Maybe I’m just impatient but it’s bad.

I think that Octavia did the best that she could with what she had available and I think that’s she’s not a bad person for what she did with the fighting pits/cannabalism. And I know that if Bellamy had been in her place, he would have eventually done the same.

Kane was a whiny bitch in season 5.

Why’d the kill Diyoza(I can’t spell) like that?

I liked Joesephine. It was really fun to see Eliza Taylor be able to get a new character in the show. Also props to her for that last episode with pretending to be Joesephine and being Clarke at the same time.

Octavia’s redemption arc this season is beautiful.

Many people haven’t watched it

It’s like if The Walking Dead and Zombieland had a baby....and then the baby did a line of cocaine.

It’s wild.

Watching Garnet die ruined every sliver of hope I had in humanity.

I have a special place in my heart for this show because it’s the first show that me and my mom would stay up and watch the new episodes air every Friday. It brought us closer and I can’t thank the cast and show runners enough for this.

So maybe I’m biased, but you should watch it.

Having Murphey switch from being an anti-hero to a villain back to an anti-hero and then to a regular hero, amazing. Astonishing. The peak of human existence.

Even though he’s not entirely human.

What color is Murphey today? Is he pale, discolored, grey, blue, red? We don’t know!

Roberta Warren is the Black Goddess main protagonist that we deserve.

Addison Carver is a functional Bi.

10k is tragic backstory central but other than that, his character development is pretty lacking other than him persuing love interests.

None of these are really unpopular opinions but I doubt any of you have watched the show. It’s on Netflix. Watch it.

Also if you name a character Murphey I will love them with my whole soul.

I’m so mad they cancelled the show.

I’m infinitely more mad that they named that disgrace of a show Black Summer and claimed that it was a prequel....but it didn’t follow the same cast and had they not advertised it as a prequel I would never have guessed.

Black Summer gives totally opposite vibes than Z Nation does. I get that black summer is supposed to be the worst time that the zombie apocalypse ever had, with cannibals and no food, but it feels like s completely different show.

It’s like if The Walking Dead claimed that it is a prequel/occurs during Shaun of the Dead.

Detroit: Become Human

Connor isn’t the best character.

This is an unpopular opinion post deal with it.

Markus has to be my favorite.

Honestly this game is so good and not even just graphics-wise.

It’s the same robotic sentience story we’ve been fed for years, but this time it’s from the Android’s perspective and this time all they want is to be free. That’s it.

I fucking hate North.

Hank is literally if Rick from Rick and Morty were serious.

The only correct way to play Connor is to walk the thin line between deviant and regular A.I. Without leaving out Hank. The correct thing to do is make Conner deviant at Jericho.

The only correct way to play Kara is to protect Alice with every fiber of your being. Meanwhile, get close to her. Do not get caught, even if that means dissappointing her.

The only correct way to play Markus is to lead a peaceful revolution. Also tell North to fuck off.

The border patrol guy who either gets Kara and Alice caught or knowingly lets Androids cross the border is the best character. Forget about Markus, this guy sees either “oh fuck androids are killing people, maybe we shouldn’t let this one cross the border” or “Androids just want to be free and are peacefully fighting for this. Let this one and her daughter through.” I love him.

Let Out The Bear He Just Wants To Say Hi :)

Even though I think Conner is overrated by the fandom, I do like him.

But he’s not a pure innocent cinnamon roll either.

It depends on how you play, but he has really violent options so stop the “He wouldn’t harm a fly” attitude.

But he is cute.

The home screen for the game is revolutionary (no pun intended) and I hope future game follow suit in making the first impression of the game something cool.

Stealing clothes/money/the fence cutters is literally okay.

Also if you put Kara in white hair you can die.

If in your first actual play through you got the Kara lives at the recycling plant ending but Alice dies, you can die too.

I’ve never actually seen the steal money and go to motel option play out because it’s stupid, especially if you don’t steal clothes. Like that’s begging to be caught.

Stranger things

Billy Hargrove is bad and just because he’s abused does not make what he does okay.

Harringrove is gross and I’m gay so my opinion counts as double.

That being said, there are some really cute fics about Harringrove and I can see the appeal of “good boy falls for mysterious bad boy with a dark past and trauma”

I’ve said I’m gay this whole post because I say it a lot, but I don’t like actually labeling myself but I like girls and boys and everything in between and I say I’m gay kinda as a joke when girls are hot.

That being said...

Steve Harrington calling himself Daddy made me feel things.

Strange things.

Haha get it I’m making a joke to distract you from the daddy part.

Steve Harrington is a good person now, but he was still an asshole before and he can still be criticized for his past.

I used to be hardcore Jancy but after season three I feel like Nancy needs and deserves a break from boys so she can figure out herself and who she is now and what she wants to do without the weight of boys and boyfriends constantly around her.

That being said i still don’t like Nancy because she was flirting/slept in the same bed with Jonathan whilst obviously having feelings for him while she and Steve were still a thing. It’s not cheating but to me it’s close enough to raise red flags.

Robin is perfect in every way.

I don’t like Jonathan. He’s creepy in s1, fine in s2, but then is s3 he doesn’t do anything to or about his male bosses when Nancy is being made fun of because she’s a woman.

Seeing Nancy’s class priveledge/Jonathan’s male priveledge clashing was so cool tbh

Mrs. Wheeler shouldn’t sleep with billy (not that she can now) because it’s wrong, but the reason she wanted to is because her husband is so boring and she gave up on her dreams to be his perfect housewife. She wanted a challenge with Billy. Instead, she should leave her pushover of a husband and find someone better.

Anyway Steve Harrington deserves the world.

NON-SPOILER REVIEW Overall: My expectations for ASSH are always high and they ALWAYS met! They always make such amazing stages that are pleasing in so many ways! This stage was just as high quality as their previous ones; great in-depth amazing story with characters that you just want to know personally and in-depth - seriously, every single one of them I got very attached and/or interested in ! -, the darkness and the themes of the story was great, they always have a message that leaves you thinking, the costumes were well made and the theme was super interesting; and as per usual I was left wanting more, wanting another installment! I loved the messaged for this play which was very much 'how do we decide whether a character is good or bad?' because every character in this stage is flawed, every character in this has their reasons as to why their actions are justified, each character has a charming point that makes you believe their motives are the right ones. I just love that ASSH always poses such questions in their stages and has these types of characters. In true ASSH style, it is not a happy ending. They keep it partially raw and real and dark! The characters that stood out to me the most were obviously Zigomar and Mikasa, but I also got super invested in Hanasaki, Hirosuke, Naoki, Gonda and Kitamiko! I wanted to know so much more about them and their character scenes and arcs are great. Espeically for Gonda and Hirosuke; their arcs were GOLD. I was so invested and so affected by their storylines. I really hope we get a next installment, especially with the random mind-blowing reveal we get at the end of the play, and I am sure they'll find a way to kind of 'undo' what happens at the end so they can make a second stage out of this. It seriously deserves one and I seriously want one! Thank you ASSH for consistently producing and giving me great, solid stages! Rating: 9/10

SPOILER REVIEW

I have no idea where to start with this, as per bloody usual, but I shall try!

Aesthetics 

First I loved the visuals of this stage; I love how the stage looked, I loved the costumes (and how all of them except Zigoma had words on parts of their costumes which were lines from the script); I loved the ending where letters dropped from the ceiling and onto the floor; it was very visually appealing. Although ONE actress did have boots on and at the beginning they were not equal length and OCD me found it very annoying xD but she soon fixed them by the next time she came back on stage.

Story

The Main Plot is: A guy who calls himself Zigoma is running around killing politicians and the police force want to know why and want to stop him before he kills anymore. Also during his first political kill, the kidnaps the wife of the politician and a private detective has been hired to find and save this now-widow. But what is unveiled is so much more...

This show actually had two versions; the Detectives Side and the Bad Guys Side which means there should be a scene change or two between the two shows.

I really enjoyed the story; I loved the discussion and themes of ‘who is right?’ and ‘Is everyone’s individual motive justifiable?’. And we had the mystery of ‘who is Zigoma?’ and ‘why is he doing it?’ and ‘why does he do it?’ which gave some really great punches and revelations. Also the plot twists and the shocker ending were just perfect! I did not see some of them coming and that ending really was a great cherry on the top of the cake! But I won’t spoil it too much right now.

One question/theme that runs throughout the play is whether Zigoma’s motives are justifiable or not. And we get to one part of the play where Mikasa comments ‘I think he’s just doing it for fun. Just because he can.’ but later one Zigoma expresses his desire to change the political climate, to change those in power, almost like a Guy Fawkes (info here) type of character. But then right at the end, when all hope for Zigoma escaping is gone, he cracks. He starts to laugh insanely and then yells at Mikasa ‘you were right! You saw right through me! All along I was doing it just because it’s fun!’. This somewhat internally breaks Mikasa because he didn’t want to be right; he wanted a more logical reason as to why Zigoma did what he did. It’s such a good moment and it really makes the audience think: was Zigoma lying in this moment of insanity? Was he killing off politicians because they were simply shitty, corrupt politicians? Or was he really just doing it because he could? Also, it makes you think, if he was doing it because those in power were corrupt, doesn’t that then make him a hero and not a villain? This theme really messed with my brain and really made me think and I LOVED IT!

There is another scene in the play, that also makes you question Zigoma’s motives. Right at the beginning there is the very first murder of a politician (Mifune Saburo) which everyone thinks Zigoma did because the body discovered was covered in a towel that had the mark ‘Z’ on it. But then at about the mid-point of the story, we learn that in fact the maid of the house had killed the politician because he was not only abusing his wife but was also raping the maid, and she has finally had enough and killed him. However, that night Zigoma had actually come with the intention of killing him anyway so he tells the maid to tell everyone ‘this was my kill!’ and so left the flag on the body. We also find out later that the reason why Zigoma kidnapped Mifune’s wife (Mutou Yuuko) after the murder, is because they actually were original betrothed to each other before she got forced into her marriage with Mifune, which is just like ‘he saved her?! he protected her?! He still loves her?!’ so again, it creates all these questions and such in your brain that you just have to think through and make a decision on. Also once Yuuko realises who Zigoma is, she takes his side completely and helps him out, so she too still has feelings for him! Just waaaahhh?! But then in another twist of fate, right at the end he kills her anyway!! To which I was like ‘waaaahhh?!’ even more!

I adore the ending so much; not the fact that everyone dies at the end, but how it’s visually shown. They die due to a bomb going off, destroying the building they’re in (again, very Guy Fawkes like!), and just as they all drop dead, letters from the ceiling fall down onto their bodies, and the flags at the back of the stage drop down too. I absolutely loved this visual touch! It was amazing and beautiful.

Another plot twist that had me like ‘HOLY HELL! WHAT?!’ was at the very last scene. But first, some back story: the very first scene of the stage is the actor for Hira Tarou, explaining the backstory and setting of the story. Then IN the story, we meet Tarou who is a very good journalist who just happens to know that Mikasa and co. are trying to stop Zigoma. Because Tarou has some inside sources, they let him join their adventure and story. So we don’t really suspect him for the most part, but we do have one moment in the play where Mikasa asks ‘how do you know all this (secret) stuff?’ and Tarou simply replies ‘well I have informants in the police’ and they just brush it off. But right at the very end, when everyone else is dead, on the floor, on the stage, Tarou comes to the center to finish the narration of the story; he reveals (right at the end!!) that he is in fact Edogawa Ranpo, shuts the book in his hand, black out, stage finishes. I was like ‘wait... he’s.... EDOGAWA RANPO!?!?’ again, MIND BLOWN! I did not see that coming at all! And it was such a good, juicy and powerful reveal! It was so good!

Characters

I really liked how everyone got involved in the main story, and I loved all the different ‘factions’ within the story too! We had about six different groups within the story. We had the Detective and his sidekick alongside the police; Zigoma and his posse of followers; bystanders who get super nosey in the Detective’s business; A trio friendship between Meiko, Hirosuke and Naoki; An ambitious opera singer and a Phantom Thief who somehow get caught up in it all without meaning to; Kiyoshi and his clan of servants. I think those are the six main groups. So you can see the big dynamic difference between some and the similarities between others.

The richness and depth of these characters you get from them even though we barely spend two hours with them on stage is just amazing. I fell for some characters so quickly and so hard! I was completely invested in every single one of them! I seriously don’t understand how ASSH consistently makes big casts, but still manages to make every character so rich and different! I don’t understand how we haven’t had a mass crossover of character traits yet in any of their stages! It is just amazing! Characters that I automatically loved just because I love the actors were: Zigoma and Arata. Characters who completely won my heart over throughout the play were: Tokage, Hirosuke, Mikasa, Kitamiko and Hanasaki! I loved all the characters to be honest but the MVP, the one who I ended up completely loving and rooting for and took a lot of my attention was Hirosuke! I don’t know why; maybe because he was visually pleasing, but also his character development was so great! I also loved his relationship with some of the characters! Just... I need to go into spoilers to flail about this boy! So are you ready?

So the main story with Hirosuke is that he and his two close/best friends (Meiko and Naoki) decided to work for Fukiya so that they could have a better and less poor life. But it turns out Fukiya is the worst, and Fukiya orders Meiko and Hirosuke to murder Naoki because he discovers that Naoki is trying to trick and betray him. So while Meiko begs him not to kill Naoki, Hirosuke does it anyway. This obviously breaks his heart and tears him apart. Later on we see Meiko asking Hirosuke to stop following Fukiya, to leave with her and it get away from all this but Hirosuke follows orders, ‘this is for the better’ and shoots her dead. This obviously destroys him too and after killing her. I loved seeing the internal struggle that he had within himself; does he follow his boss? does he follow his heart? does he follow his friends? does he put power over friendship first. I love how we see it eat him from the inside! And that is why he is my favourite! I also love the little scene he has with Tokage at the beginning; she’s the phantom thief who’s being stealing things for Fukiya, but she has never shown her face - she always has him at gun point or knife point, forcing him to look the other way and never see her face. And the beginning of this play, he says ‘just once, could I see your face?’, but it’s not until right at the very end when all the characters have gathered together, that he finally gets to see her, and you can see how happy he is! I love the friendship/slight-romance we have between these two.

Relating to those three, there is a butler, Gondawara, who works alongside Hirosuke and Meiko, and also tries to protect them (and others) many times. I absolutely adored him. He had such a short role but I love how he protected Saito Kanoko and then persuades her to eventually tell the truth about Mifune’s death. He was also the one who stood in the way of Hirosuke and Tei, trying to get Hirosuke to come to his senses and giving him a chance to run away but this ultimately leads to Gonda’s death. He was such a sweet character and I’m so sad he died, and so quickly too!

Gonda’s death is thanks to Tei who has a short but very interesting story line! The girl is addicted to Opium. And once on the opium, she becomes absolutely obsessed with killing. So much so that she attacked and killed Gonda. The cops also try to stop her by shooting her in the leg but because of the drugs, she doesn’t feel it and instead just starts dragging herself across the floor. She finally drags herself back to Zigoma and her crew, but Zigoma deems her insane and that she has lost the real reason why they are killing people, so Zigoma kills her.

Of course, I can’t talk about the characters without talking about our young, new detective Arata, who also goes by the nickname of ‘Suspender-kun’ because he always wears suspenders! He was adorable! He was a fresh, raring to go new detective and I absolutely loved his relationship with his boss, Saburo! They were such a hilarious comedy duo! And Hiroki/Arata on his own did a damn good job being funny and hilarious too! Also Saburo himself was hilarious as a solo artist!

Let me tell you about their ridiculousness: In the very first scene where they introduce themselves, Saburo is completely over the top and takes off his jacket and just drops it on the floor, then later on Arata throws it back to him but he lets it drop. The timing was absolutely perfect and was absolutely hilarious! Another scene is when Arata decides he’s going to seriously help and Saburo finally calls him ‘Arata’ instead of ‘suspender-kun’, so he gets really happy and really dramatic and holds himself against a wall, and Saburo comes over and comments ‘you idiot’ before slapping him on the butt xD

Another character I enjoyed was the Tantei’s assistant: Hanasaki Mayuko. She  was an adorable dork!! I absolutely adored her! And she really shone during her adlibbed comedy scenes! Not only did she get the crowd laughing, but even Mikasa’s actor Hattori was having a hard time keeping a straight face at times xD She was so cute and funny and sweet and adorable! I really liked her! One scene that stood out to me for her: Hanasaki and the Youkan (a thick, jellied Japanese dessert made of red bean paste, agar, and sugar)! Kanoko brings Youkan to the detective as a thanks for saving her and for all their hard work on trying to find Yuuko. But turns out Hanasaki LOVES youkan so she tries to eat all of it through various ways, either offering to Mikasa (who she knows will say no), and quickly trying to eat another piece straight after. But because of this, natural comedy came out where she was trying to say her lines while her mouth was full of food xD also trying to be like ‘oh Mikasa doesn’t like youkan. DO YOU? No you don’t! Didn’t think so! More for me!!’ which was so cute.

Speaking of Mikasa, about part-way through the play, there’s a flashback-slash-fever dream where Mikasa is talking to Zigoma, and Zigoma is like ‘what’s the real reason you became a private detective instead of a policemen? You know deep down the real reason why!’ so that makes me think maybe his father had died on the job and that’s why he became a mysterious private detective instead? Or was his father corrupt as well as the police force at the time? So many questions!

One plot twist that I really enjoyed was the reveal that Tokage and Ando Ayako were actually sisters!! When Ayako starts yelling ‘Onee-san // Big Sister’ at one point, I was like “OMG THEY ARE SISTERS?!?!?!’. I totally didn’t see it coming! Especially because, for most of the play Ayako is horrible towards Tokage and is very cold, almost as if they had never met and just got off on the wrong foot straight away! But later on we learn that they do care for each other and they had to pretend not to know each other, in case Tokage ever got caught because she didn’t want to endanger her little sister. I was MIND BLOWN.

There is another twist where Aikawa actually betrays everyone and was working for Zigoma the whole time. Unfortunately I had already cottoned on a few scenes before hand that she was secretly in on it. I don’t know how I knew but I just felt like ‘there must be some other reason why this family of three are in the story’ and there are scenes where she’s left to protect Shioro at time, and Shiori is DUMB AS FUCK, so I wouldn’t put it past Shiori to not notice what Aikawa was up to and too dumb to realise when Aikawa had gone off to plot or make something. So I naturally figured either Shiori was pretending to be this dumb, stupid sister, or Aikawa was a secret mastermind or Tesujiro was pretending to admire Mikasa so he could set him up. I knew something was going on with those three.

Other Notable Moments/Scenes

In true ASSH style we had the whole cast dancing during the opening song. Luckily, Hiroki on the far left when the dance opening song starts.

There is a slow motion fighting scene which I thought was so cool!!! I really enjoyed the slow-mo moment. Also we got live singing! Ando Ayako’s actress Sawada Maria actually sang the opera songs live to us and she also sings the ending song live which is amazing! Her voice is very, very good!!

I really loved how Saburo and Mikasa decide to team up at the end even though they had some differences throughout the play, but for the greater good (!) they team up in the finale!

Some things that specifically happened during my First Show (Detective Version):

I was first row and on the very last seat to the left. The gap between my feet and the stage was practically 0.1cm! So I was super duper close to all the actors! Which was for the most part absolutely terrifying (especially during the fight scenes). However, it did have it’s good moment which I will list right here: towards the end of the show, Hiroki gets into a fight which causes him to get thrown and pinned against a wall. That wall was RIGHT in front of me and my head was at the perfect level for Hiroki’s waist, which means that his butt was right in front of me!!!! Also he smelt really nice xD another moment was the final showdown between Tantei Mikasa and Zigoma, they were fighting and again, they slammed against the wall right next to me!! I was parts freaking out and parts overwhelmed and overjoyed xD

We had a double curtain call, and the ending aisatsu was by Hanasaki who was totally cute and she got very shy and couldn’t remember what she wanted to say. But everyone was giggling at her adorableness xD She was stood next to Hiroki and they were both so cute alongside each other!

Of course it was filming day!! When do I never go on filming day?! xD I am ALWAYS at filming day!!! xD

Second Show (Bad Guy Version):

I went to the senshuuraku (the finale) of this show! They really went all out on the comedy in this final show! Hiroki got hit so hard by Saburo that he started laughing to the side of the stage. Then later Saburo went to pull and release his suspenders and pretended to it the first time, but on the second time he actually let go and it was really hard. Hiroki was rubbing his chest in pain.

Maybe I just didn’t notice in the first show but I feel like in this show, the three people working for Zigoma got their moment of explaining what they wanted and why they joined Zigoma. Maybe this was the scene especially created for this version of the show, or maybe I just missed it the first time round. But I loved getting to know where they came from, their backgrounds and why they joined him.

Another Higawari (daily change) was Gonda saying an Acrostic Poem for Ji-Go-Ma. In the second show, he got a huge round of applause after his Ji-Go-Ma poem because it was just too funny and very good. Unfortunately, I do no remember it *cries*

I also noticed in this second show that there is a moment where Arata and Hanasaki fall in love for a moment after she accidentally touches his arm and that motivates him to help Mikasa on his case some more xD

While in the first show we had Saburo just complete miss catching his jacket through his own lack of calculations, this time it was through Hiroki’s fault; Saburo couldn’t reach far enough to grab his jacket from Hiroki’s throw, it was hilarious.

Another higawari is when Saburo is trying to talk to Arata but Arata get’s super angry straight away: Saburo: Let’s go brat. Arata: *super angry* What did you say?!?! Saburo: Let��s go you brat! Arata: *calms down* Ohh I didn’t hear you! Saburo: *shock* IS THAT WHY YOU GOT MAD?! The scene ends with Hiroki asking Saburo to slap his arm, and they did this wave with their arms before walking off stage xD

In both shows, when Zigoma first appears in front of Yuuko in her house before kidnapping her, he walks in with brandy in a brandy glass and drinks it. In every other show the glass has been half full so it was easy for him to drink. BUT, in this final show Zigoma walked on stage with a GLASS FULL of brandy, and it took him a while to finish it. It was obvious who’d seen the show before because we were the ones cracking up as soon as he walked on stage! So as you can tell, they really went all out on the comedy in this final show! It wasn’t being filmed, they might as well do ridiculous shit and have fun xD

Just before the youkan scene, Hanasaki is in the kitchen making a mess, but then walks on stage and she uses a crashing noise to her advantage. She kept replaying the crash music as Mikasa tried to talk. She tried so hard to get Mikasa’s actor to burst out in laughter but didn’t work; we (the audience) were all dying though.

It was a triple curtain call where we got an announcement for the next stage (the next installment of KimiSaga - review here)!! In March!!! I was (and am!) so excited!!

Perspective: Vaughn

“THEIF!”

The quick footed rogue certainly fell so far from grace. Of course, he started at the bottom of the dirtiest ditch, but fate had been kind. Fate had landed him in the Court of King Kane. Fate had given him a life. But of course, Fate also took all of that away, and kicked him off the cliff, landing him back into the muck in which he started with.

Vaughn scrambled back onto his feet and kept running, the jewelry safely in his pocket. With muscle memory agility, he raced across the roof of the mansion, an unfortunate blood trail following far too close behind him. The arrow in his shoulder certainly wasn’t making his escape any easier.

Two more arrows arced overhead, missing him entirely. He snickered. Guards never had any good aim. Sometimes they just got lucky. Ten feet.

“STOP!”

Yeah, like that would work.

“Good day, lads!” Vaughn shouted to the guards, who clumsily stumbled across the roof.

The thief swan dived off the roof. The guards stumbled to a stop and watched as Vaughn fell to his supposed death, only to blink out of existence right before impact.

“Where did he go?”

“Search the perimeter!”

Vaughn, on the outside of the wall that protected the mansion, sighed with relief. He waited ten minutes before running off into the forest, the moonlight bright enough to cast shadows.

At dawn, he returned to the ratty old tavern in the slums of the city. The windows were boarded up and inside, there was a bartender and a few odd patrons nursing tankards as per usual.

“How did it go?” the bartender asked, pouring him a drink.

Vaughn took it and smiled politely, “Oh lass, did you ever doubt me?”

He set the purse on the bar, and she took it. She left the bar for a moment and returned with a box of gold.

“How do you do it?” she asked, tilting her head in curiosity. “You’ve never failed a single one.”

“A thief never reveals his secrets,” he said with a wink. “Just trust me to get the job done.”

“Aye,” she said, handing him a piece of paper. “This lad wanted my best. You’re to meet him here at midnight-thirty.”

“Airell the Brave,” Vaughn chuckled, “How pretentious. Who is he?”

The bartender shrugged her shoulders. “Claimed himself a bastard prince to the Vir Na’al Crown. Don’t know if it’s true or not.”

Vaughn blinked. “A what? That’s not possible.”

“I didn’t say it was,” she said.

“I don’t know if I’ll take it. Pretentious liars aren’t my style, but I’ll inquire.”

At midnight-thirty, he returned to the tavern, dressed in his leathers. Emptied of all but a single elf at the bar, he hesitantly crossed the threshold.

“You must be Vaughn,” the elf said.

“You’re Airell the Brave,” he replied.

“Rightly so. Have a drink.”

“Not thirsty. What’s you’re pitch? I don’t have time.”

Airell laughed. “I like you. Right down to business. I understand why King Kane liked you.”

Vaughn raised an eyebrow but acted coy. “He’d want me dead if he wasn’t hanging. I’ve stolen from more people that he can count.”

“I’m not a fool. You were his trusted royal adviser of the Under City. You got his daughters out of the castle when Empress Juliet sieged it with her army,” Airell said.

He took a deep breath.

“What do you want?” Vaughn asked quietly.

“You must know that castle inside and out,” he said, “And you must want that Empress to hang as much as I do.”

“And if I don’t want to help you? You’re going to turn me in for the bounty, I bet.”

“No,” he said, “Look, you’re special. I’ve been keeping an eye on you. You blink, and I’m not going to pretend that I understand that, but it’s fantastic and I need power like that.”

“I don’t play with fire,” Vaughn said, “The Empress and Skivine is in control.”

“But Lambert is in her control.”

When Airell said that, Vaughn inhaled sharply. He’d known Lambert, the young prophetic prince, was a prisoner to the Empress, but he kept telling himself that if he didn’t think about it, it didn’t matter. He couldn’t help Lambert.

“You want to save him. See, I knew it. You got a little ‘save the world’ in you and think that’s cute. You’ll never be able to though, with the resources you have. Lambert isn’t going anywhere unless you work with me. You can save Lambert. You can save the whole damned country.”

“Oh, and I bet you’re here to offer me those resources, huh?” Vaughn said, standing up, “Out of the goodness of your heart? You claimed yourself a bastard prince. How do I know that you’re not working with Empress Juliet, and want Lambert dead?”

The elf grinned, revealing two rows of sharp, elven teeth.

“You don’t,” he said, “But you’re desperate. Now, I need you to find me a lass.”

“What kind of lass?” he asked.

He placed a picture of a red-haired woman’s wanted poster on the bar. Vaughn held it next to the light to get a better look.

“Aodha Winery of Cynbel, the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen, and only up to standard with her twin sister, who’s currently missing,” Airell explained, “She’s an ex-soldier. Dawn Company. Heard of them?”

Dawn Company was infamous. The Vir Na’al army had one thing going for them: spirit and patriotism. It didn’t garner the country many wins. But Dawn Company was something else. Very seldom did they ever lose a battle, thanks to their genius tactical leader. When Vir Na’al fell, they were the last soldiers to officially surrender, but like the rest of the army, they were granted amnesty and citizenship.

“Yeah, I heard of them,” he muttered. “I’m not fetching you a girlfriend.”

“Please,” the elf scoffed. “Don’t assume things. She’s beautiful, true, but I carry no infatuation. I’ve never met her, only made a speculation based off the wanted poster. And I know she has a twin.”

“So, where is she?” Vaughn asked.

“The Desert Guard Prison,” he said, “She’s being hanged two weeks from now for treason after attempting to take Lambert out of the castle. Break in, get her, break out, and return to me. She’s a piece we need in order to take out the Empress.”

“And in return?”

“You start the journey of bringing Vir Na’al back into power. Isn’t that enough?”

For Vaughn, it was.

Spring Break pt. 2

March 12

Started the late morning at the La Rambla Street Markets. I basically got a $5 footlong but better cause it was on an actual baguette. With food in our bellies, we wandered through the city. Actually wandered. Not running on any set schedule. We used a paper map and followed street signs and our guts- only using Google Maps when absolutely necessary. We found pigeon central in La Plaza de Catalunya. This is where all the government pigeons go when they are retired, striking, or on vacation. Next, we came across the Cathedral. We visited the inside and rode the elevator to the rooftop view of the city.

I had no idea where Pat was going, so I was just along for the ride. We strolled through random alleyways and small streets which took us to the Arc de Triomf - a beautiful work of architecture. We continued walking down the strip towards the park. I love all these public spaces and invitations to chill and be part of the community.

We tried to find the zoo, but it was expensive so we went to the Picasso Museum instead to kill time. Picasso is probably one of my favorite artists. His work is so diverse and I admire his creativity and fearlessness for trying new concepts. Before entering La Sagrada Familia, we grabbed an early dinner at La Taqueria. Oh my, these street tacos were fire. Pile on that carne asada fam.

WOW. My mouth nearly dropped as hard as it did when I saw Michelangelo’s David for the first time. La Sagrada Familia is absolutely breathtaking. Photos and videos will never do this place justice. Feels like you just walked into a 4th dimension or into Heaven. 10/10 highly recommend to anyone who’s in Barcelona. And it’s amazing that it’s still under construction till 2026ish. Gaudí, you are my architectural hero.

Took the metro back to the hostel (instead of walking 70 years to get there) to rest for a bit. Later, we walked towards the beach and crossed this beautiful bridge over the pier only to realize that it wouldn’t actually take us to the beach. We ended up walking a very long back way to a street area in the hopes of finding a bar so that Pat could watch his futball game. It was pretty quiet - not what I was expecting for Barcelona. Luckily, we happened to find a cozy little bar (Bonita Bar) lit up and playing the game on a small tv. Had a chill time hanging out, watching the game, and trying some delicious Sangrias.

March 13

Amy met up with us at our hostel and from there we took the metro to Park Guell, rode an elevator to the top of the hill, and continued walking to a point near the top. Wow, we are literally on top of the world in this beautiful park overlooking the whole city. The clouds started parting their ways too, so we got some sun shining through. We took our time strolling around the top and listening to some street musicians performing. I also fell in love with the green parrots flying around.

Amy is an actual student who takes normal classes, so she took us to a little cafe near IES so we could scarf down a quick meal before she went to her afternoon class. Meanwhile, Pat and I went to the train station to reserve seats to Paris. After Amy’s class, we popped by La Rambla market to pick up food for the Bunkers (but ended up eating it even before we arrived there). We ended up being the last ones on the bus, and got off at the very last stop near the top of the mountain. We hiked up the hillside to the Bunkers (saw many signs telling us tourists to go home) and once again we were on top of the world. This time it was cooler out since the wind was intense and the sun was setting.

Amy was craving churros so we went to a little cafe. We distracted ourselves by making up our own game and rules with a board game, some dice, and markers. I swear, we played for a solid hour or so. Our food still wasn't out so we asked for it to go and hurried to catch the bus to Camp Nou. We took turns trying to juggle and balance a cup of thicc HOT chocolate and dipping our fried churros into it. So rich and yummy. Definitely for sweet tooths. On the bus some girl got her phone snatched and didn't even realize it till after the theifs left the bus. The whole debacle drastically changed the moods on the bus and I could feel a lot of tensions among the crowd. Sucks because Pat just got his phone stolen and sucks because theifs here are good at what they do. Mission “make sure Olivia doesn't get her phone snatched” is in hyperdrive.

The Barcelona v. Olympic Leon game was amazing! Such a cool experience and our seats were pretty good in my opinion. I can't believe I saw the goalie from Olympic Leon get a foot smashed into his face AND his stomach all in one move. Rip this man. He was brave for trying to play but eventually tapped out for the rest of the game. Barcelona stole the show and took home the win (and I took home a scarf for a souvenir).

We all metroed back to drop our stuff off and then Pat and I went back out to meet Amy at L’Ovella Negra. Turns out we went to the wrong one but at this point the metro was closed so we had to wait FOREVER for a bus to show up. I swear it took us another hour just to arrive. We met a bunch of Amy's friends from IES and Victoria had me salivate on my wrist and rub it on her friend’s wrist to try and get the stamp for the club to transfer. Didn't really work out but there was a faint blue stamp outline there?

At the club we skrrrted through the front line so that we could get in before 2am for cheaper/free admission. Victoria made it through and Amy barely passed. The bouncer took a look at my wrist and pulled me out of the line. And Pat's licked on stamp was basically non-existent so he got booted too. We stood next to Amy and Victoria on the other side of the fence as they made their way to the entrance. Amy and Victoria tried convincing me to sneak under the railing when the security weren't looking, but I wasn't about to risk it. After they got in, Pat and I went and stood in the actual line cause we weren't sure if Amy wanted to stay for a long time. The line moved pretty quickly though- we made friends with Ana from France. She and I did a handshake thing and she declared that we were best friends. I have no knowledge of French so we were trying our best to communicate with Spanish. But she somehow knew what Pat and I were trying to say??

Finally, we got in to this dang club and paid the ridiculously high price for entry. But yolo I'm only in Barcelona once. I had such a fun time dancing and singing the night away with Amy and Victoria!! Pat made a girl friend and Amy also made out with this one guy at some point in the night. The DJ was LIT with his music choice and I know he's a real homie cause he played Breaking Free from High School Musical. It was like 4:45am by time we left, and then we waited forever at the bus stop for the night bus to come. Google lied and said it arrived but it definitely left us abandoned at the stop. We called a taxi instead and got dropped at Amy’s hotel. The metros were open for business again, so Pat and I hopped on. I definitely fell asleep so thanks Pat for waking me up when we arrived. Took a shower around 5:30am and then crawled into bed at 6am. Woke up around 9:30 thinking that someone turned the lights on but it was just the sun shining through the windows.

Weirdly didn't feel exhausted because I was still in that window of time where it was a nap status. Anywhere between 1-3.5 hours of sleep is a nap. 4-6.5 hours of sleep is a bad place to be because I'm groggy from a nap and not well rested from a night of sleep.
