Was planning on chainsawing a fallen tree in the back of the property today. However, saw the radar around 7:00 this morning and a line of storms was headed our way. Cancelled all outdoor plans.
At 10:30 AM l she suggested we gourmet-up a frozen pizza, open a bottle of wine and have a quiet day together today. (We always do.) Yes ma’am. Nothing I’d rather do than spend a day with her. She’s retired & I work from home. But my 8 - 10 hr day “at work” is so damn regimented. I hate the job and will request a transfer to a different dept next month.
It’s not quite 12:30 PM and we’ve made an offering (figuratively) out of the pizza & have destroyed almost a bottle of red while the storms pummel the backyard. Heaven. Absolute heaven. I thrive on serenity and peacefulness.
Cleaned out a bird feeder this morning before the storms hit. Showered and washed my hair. All squeaky clean. 💕
Now, the rest of the day I have to bang on guitars, have plenty of weed, I always wear less clothes than she does around the house, open a 2nd bottle of wine later, bang on guitars some more, take a nap, repeat.
I’ve mentioned D/s to her, but we are so both “givers” and have been together approaching 10 years. So I have my internal satisfaction of pampering my bronze island queen.
Our combined ages are over 130 years. She saw Hendrix live.
Spontaneity, but responsibly.
