After so many months of traveling with Jaskier, the Witcher had become used to the casual affection and the touching. He had gotten used to listening for the bard and, unintentionally, keeping track of where he was and what he was doing. Merely always aware of Jaskier and what he was doing.

It was something that he had picked up within the first couple of days of knowing him.

Which could explain why he barely gave any reaction to the footsteps. Already bracing himself for what was about to come before chuckling at the arms being thrown around him. Ilya glanced over his shoulder, the corner of his lips twitching upward. "Did you see something that you liked?" The bear shifted in Jaskier's arms to turn more toward him. "There are many... Interesting things here."
