Nice to see you're finally on the DuckTales 2017 wagon. For the first episode, thoughts so far? How'd it do introducing the main cast like Scrooge, Huey, Dewey, Louie, Webby, Donald, Launchpad, and Beakley? How interesting was it seeing Scrooge's own feelings on family here so far and growing to warm up to them here?How was Donald done with his expanded father figure relationship with the nephews and potential conflict with Scrooge?How was Dewey's plot on wanting to impress Scrooge in adventure?

It was a pretty solid opener! Does a good job of establishing a lot of characters and their unique personalities/dynamics, though I'll admit I'll probably be struggling for a while to distinguish between the triplets. I'm pretty terrible at that sort of thing, not to mention that I don't exactly have the best memory.

Scrooge was pretty great! I love how much personality he has. I went in expecting him to mostly just be an old curmudgeon, but he was so much more than that, even in the first episode. You can tell that he still wants to live that life of adventure even if he feels a bit washed up. Despite the rough start, it seems the boys coming into his life is just the thing he needed to pick himself up and get back in action. I'm also looking forward to learning why his relationship with Donald is so strained.

I think I'm torn between Donald and Webby for my favorite character so far. Donald because I find him extremely relatable. I try to always stay calm in public, but I can very much relate to feeling the urge to completely freak out over a minor inconvenience that just really gets to you. And Webby because she's really adorable. Her voice was driving me absolutely crazy, because I knew I recognized it somewhere. Never expected that it was the voice actor for Sadie from SU. Beakley is also a runner-up for favorite character. I like that she absolutely refuses to take any bullshit from Scrooge. Very inspiring.

Launchpad was also pretty fun! He didn't get a whole lot of screentime, but I already vibe with him a lot. Very glad he managed to get his chance at piloting.

I hope we get a good amount of Donald going forward. I really want to find out his history with Scrooge, and what happened between them.

To be honest, I don't recall noticing that motivation for Dewey XD. Probably a side effect of struggling to tell the boys apart. I'm sure I'll notice more and more of their distinct personalities as I go forward.
