#bday boy sakyo event
derireo · 3 years
Note
Sakyo wakes up on his birthday to find the Akigumi boys "acting" like he's their dad (maybe similar to what happened with Itaru in the Spring Year 1 arc?)... Bonus points if they somehow convinced Izumi to play "Mom" instead of Omi, for one day only 😉⭐ (btw sorry if this is too detailed 😅 I got super excited)
Tumblr media
𝐩𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐰. . .
Tumblr media
It started once Sakyo opened up his newspaper and sat at the head of the table.
“Morning, dad!” Taichi said like an excitable puppy when he danced his way into the kitchen (he street dances when he has the time, leave him alone), Omi following after him.
There was an oddly ominous feeling to the tallest member of the troupe as he smiled and gave Sakyo a salute.
Sakyo jutted his chin in greeting.
He ignored the nickname Taichi tacked on at the end of his own greeting and took a sip of coffee from his cup, shaking his newspaper like an old man would as Taichi popped some bread into the toaster.
“Nanao.” He said, indifferent.
Taichi pouted at Omi who chuckled.
“Hey, pops.” Banri strutted in with a crooked smile and caught the apple that Omi tossed in his direction, teasingly wiggling his fingers at Sakyo who was grimacing at the weird nickname.
What is going on.
“Dad.” Juza greeted softly with a polite bow towards Sakyo who pursed his lips; just a little unimpressed.
Omi handed the oldest Hyodo brother a plate of pancakes and began to start on Izumi’s breakfast before she arrived.
“Hey, Ma.” Banri said with an endearing smile when Izumi entered the kitchen after a while, still disoriented and sleepy even though she took ten minutes in the bathroom washing her face and brushing her teeth.
“Mm.” She mumbled tiredly and rubbed her eye with a yawn, patting Juza on the head who was already digging into his pancakes.
“Mom! Do you know what today is?” Taichi shouted from the other side of the kitchen where he was toasting another few pieces of bread.
Sakyo frowned at the weird atmosphere Taichi and Banri were creating.
Mom? Dad? What the hell are these kids thinking?
Izumi squinted at Taichi who was now slathering an ungodly amount of butter onto his finished toast, running a hand through her hair with another yawn.
“What is it?”
And with her answer did Taichi suddenly break into a gasp, a hand clutching his chest as he stared wide eyed at Izumi who was trudging towards Sakyo who was glaring at the kid over his newspaper.
“MOM. I know your relationship with pa isn’t that good, but you can’t tell me you forgot his birthday!” Taichi cried out loud, shoving his toast into his mouth due to his stomach growling. “Don’t tell me this is just the tip of the iceberg.”
“You two are divorcing?!” Banri shouted equally as loud much to the dismay of Sakyo, Izumi rubbing a hand down her face as she tried to make sense of it all.
Banri slammed his palms on the table while Juza continued to shove his pancake into his mouth, eyes exaggeratedly sad as he looked at a barely coherent Izumi.
“Who’s taking custody?” Omi was asking the real questions, but it didn’t matter when the whole situation happening right now did not make any sense.
“Will you guys shut up?” Sakyo groaned, too annoyed to even feel embarrassed. What the hell kind of skit was he taking part in this time?
“You’re all brats.” Izumi sighed tiredly and placed a hand on Sakyo’s shoulder to soothe the angry man, slipping her hand beneath her shirt to scratch at her stomach.
Lazily, she leaned down and went to greet Sakyo with a kiss to his cheek, her lips warm on his skin.
“Happy birthday, pops.” She said casually, voice still laden with sleep as she brushed her nose along his cheekbone before placing one more kiss to his temple. “Be nice to the kids.”
Sakyo froze, nearly dropping his cup of coffee. Thankfully Izumi decided to steal his mug though, and she sipped at the hot beverage while trailing her hot palm along the back of his neck as she walked towards where Taichi and Omi were slapping each other’s arms.
“Wow.” Banri whistled. “The outcome was even better than I expected.”
Juza nodded in agreement and smiled at Sakyo whose face was burning up.
“What the fuck.” Azami stood at the doorway; having witnessed the physical affection. “What the fuck.”
Izumi looked over to where the youngest member stood and smiled lazily, waving Azami over.
“Jealous? Does my little one want a kiss too?”
“No fuckin’ way in hell.” Azami seethed, pink dusting his pale cheeks as Taichi raised his hand with a bright smile.
“I want one!”
Izumi laughed faintly and ruffled Taichi’s hair, making the kid bend down so that she could kiss his forehead while Sakyo pinched his nose between his fingers.
“I’m literally a head taller than her.” Azami complained as he sat down beside Juza who was raising his hand too, Banri also waving his hand.
Azami cried into his hands when Izumi started handing out motherly kisses to everyone else in the troupe, Sakyo watching on with an amused (and in love) expression.

Commentary:
It really hart breaks mAh hart tasuku mAh boi is the lowest for the whole run
I am shock from first to last Itaru keep his position as 1st along with masumi being 2nd their fans are big
Itaru is so close to reach 2k
Also in the final ranking I am shock to the increase like juza
Wait *squints* even the last 20 mins there is changes in rankings! Banri closed his way from 7th to 4th and defeated sakyo! Also tsumugi carrying the whole fuyu!
Through out the event tsumugi is carrying his team then Hisoka rise at midgame to end
Also I guess misumi triangle cult are late raiser but they managed to keep the 3rd position position through out the event it's amazing like the SANKAKU GOD has planned this!
The 4th position was being fight over by certain 2 aki members which is amazing (please don't include the early game aki fans are late raiser too I included lol)
Wait *squints* omg the 7th place was shared by Sakuya and Chikage!
And in last game I am shock to the increase of 1k border line too bad Omi is so close enough to reach it
So yah actually looking at this makes me excited lol it's like I am watching a basketball game that takes 12 days to play aaaaudufjehfhghidudf
Anyway for overall trope count there is no changes in numbers through out the game
In short with strong players like itaru and masumi of Harugumi carrying the whole team holding the 1st and 2nd even tho our dear citron is one of the dead last Bois
Next is akigumi as ya can see there are a lot of aki fans
Even tho there are big changes at the middle ranking
Natsu is 3rd thanks to misumi carrying the team tho it's not enough (aki fans team work Is strong lol)
Then fuyu is ded last I actually sad cause I am surrounded by fuyu fans I guess also they are my second fav troupe (aki will forever 1st lol)
Look how azuma and Homare never reached 15th
And tasuku and guy being ded last through out the game ಥ‿ಥ
Poor guy will never have ssr bday
What I learned?
Next time imma make a dummy account dedicated for this for better and more accurate data gathering!
------------------
Here is the sheet careful not to edit if ya got edit permission I'm still figuring out google sheets
Tumblr media
That's all
Thanks for your time reading this see y'all in next up anniv poll in JP (which will be in 3 months)

Hi there!
Once again, I don’t have any of the event cards for this event so I get no extra bonuses besides the ones provided by Hisoka’s bday SSR and the guest actors.
Due to how sporadic some of the guest actors have been for me and also because during improve events I always try to go for the guest actor that has his Ad-lib Skill at level 4, I have two different team options for one of them.
Comedy:
> Option 1:
SSR Muku + SSR Sakyo + [Lead] SSR Kazunari + SSR Homare + SSR Yuki + [Guest] R Event Omi
>>The link skills in effect here are:

For the birthday event can I have izumi taking sakyo out on a date? ⭐
Tumblr media
𝐬𝐡𝐞'𝐬 𝐬𝐨 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐲
Tumblr media
It wasn’t like Sakyo was panicking (he was) with the way he was fumbling around for his phone when Izumi called him. And his voice absolutely wasn’t shaking as he answered her with her name rolling off of his tongue.
What was he? A damn teenager?
He was sitting patiently at the corner inside of a food stall as Izumi rattled off her apologies in his ear, telling him that the theatre she was working at today had kept her behind to help with some stuff. Her breath was shaky and Sakyo could hear the sound of her feet hitting the pavement as she ran, the worry in her voice apparent.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t think they’d keep me for so long.” She complained into the phone, mumbling a curse under her breath that had the man chuckling.
His nerves were at ease now. He knew Izumi wasn’t the type to bail on excursions like this, and he was glad that the phone call they were sharing reinforced that fact.
“It’s okay. Just make sure you don’t run past the food stall like an idiot.” He sighed into the receiver. Izumi hummed a soft laugh as her answer, and they both said their goodbyes when she told him that she was finally crossing the street.
And really, Sakyo didn’t know what to expect when he’d see Izumi today. They left the dorm at different times so he didn’t know what she was wearing. Considering that she invited him out to their favourite food stall, he wore his usual garb, the black turtleneck, grey suit jacket and black coat.
It was just Izumi treating Sakyo to his favourite food stall for his birthday.
So why was she looking so pretty when she walked inside? Her hair curled in loose waves as she wore high waisted slacks that matched the colour of his own? And God, please answer, why was she wearing a cropped turtleneck that perfectly matched his own?
What was she doing?
All the air that was in his lungs had left him when her head turned in his direction and her hair fluttered and bounced with the movement. She was so pretty for just a normal day out together and for what?
Sakyo couldn’t breathe.
“Good evening.” Izumi bowed towards the owner of the stall with an exhausted smile and hung her grey blazer over her arm, her feet carrying her towards the birthday boy who was clutching at his slacks like they were the only things that were grounding him right now.
Her sparkling brown eyes made him dizzy when that smile was now directed towards him, and he could barely speak when she sat across from him, cropped turtleneck hugging her figure well.
“Hey, Sakyo.” She greeted, fingers brushing through her hair to smooth out the tangles. “I hope you didn’t wait long.”
She placed her blazer on the back of her seat while Sakyo stuttered out a quiet ‘no’ (like a liar). Izumi smiled at him a second time and nodded to accept the fib, raising her hand for the owner to see.
“Two orders of ginkgo skewers and two orders of chicken skewers please!” She called out sweetly to which the owner saluted. “And two cans of beer!”
One of their regular servers came by to hand them the requested beer and Izumi sighed happily, sliding Sakyo his can while she opened her own with a single hand.
“I know you don’t like celebrating your birthday because of the cost, but I’m really happy you accepted my invitation tonight.” She said, already taking a sip of her beer while Sakyo watched and stared as she licked the alcohol from her lip, his fingers curled tightly around his can.
“It didn’t look like you were going to take no for an answer.” He sighed.
He flicked the tab open to his beer with ease and let his purple eyes wander, gaze admiring the way Izumi presented herself although a bit messy due to running here.
“You look nice.” He commented. Izumi grinned.
“Thanks. I tried to match what you usually wear.” She said brightly, straightening her back with squinted eyes as their food finally arrived, the owner of the stall greeting them enthusiastically.
“I haven’t seen you two in a while!” The owner said, passing them their paper plates with a jovial hum. “I was wondering when you two would return. It gets lonely without my favourite couple around.”
Ah. That again.
As much as Sakyo enjoyed being mistaken as Izumi’s partner, he hated putting her in uncomfortable positions like this, so he denied their relationship whenever if he could.
He was going to do the same thing again when the owner looked down at him with a knowing look, but Izumi beat him to it, the words leaving her mouth causing Sakyo to once again, stop breathing.
“Sorry. We’ve just been so busy lately.” She pouted, reaching across their small table to curl her hand around his wrist. “I’ve been planning this date for so long. I’m real thankful you decided to open tonight when I asked.”
The owner waved his hand, eyes curving into crescent moons.
“Absolutely no problem. Anything for my loyal customers.” He laughed heartily, slowly starting to go back to his grill. “Have a good evening. Lovely matching outfits by the way.”
“You- you lied?” Sakyo asked, confusion riddling his features when Izumi turned back to him and grabbed a chicken skewer, already digging in. Her hand didn’t leave his wrist as she ate, and she shrugged.
Her fingers burned at his skin as she licked her lips thoughtfully.
“I don’t think I did.” She said, absently brushing her fingers along the length of his wrist until the tips met his palm, her lithe digits dancing along his slack hand as she stared back at him, innocent.
“We’re on a date.” She confirmed without Sakyo asking, and it felt like the man had just died and gone to Heaven.
Her damn fingers were distracting him as she scratched her nails down his fingers until they began twitching, and he pressed his lips into a thin line when she clasped their hands together. Suddenly, she was wearing a bashful smile.
“Unless you don’t like it?” She mumbled through her chicken skewer.
“Uh, no. I- I like it.” Sakyo said quickly and tightened his hold on her hand before she could pull away, flattening the front of his suit jacket. He cleared his throat awkwardly and sat straight in his chair now that he understood what was going on, ears red as cherries as he grabbed a ginkgo skewer and bit into the food.
His eyes were hesitant to meet hers again, and Izumi could tell.
She sighed in adoration of the adorable man in front of her and sipped her beer, an embarrassingly warm, fuzzy feeling taking over her body.
“Happy birthday, Sakyo.”

May i request sakyo celebrating his birthday with izumi and his mom? ⭐ Thankyou 💕
Tumblr media
𝐦𝐚𝐦𝐚'𝐬 𝐛𝐨𝐲
Tumblr media
Izumi was fidgeting.
"You could've said no." Sakyo frowned as he watched her fiddle with her longskirt for umpteenth time.
They were currently at his mother's house sitting on the floor by the table. There was a good arrangement of food to be seen; clearly indicating that there was a celebration today.
"How can I say no to your mom?" She whispered, turning her head to give Sakyo a disapproving frown.
"I'm glad you could make it, Izumi." A mild-mannered voice came from behind them.
Sakyo's mom was bringing in his favourite snack as the last dish, and her motherly smile made the director beam happily.
"Of course! Anything for you, Mama." Izumi said, sugar lacing her tone.
Sakyo whipped his head towards her. Mama?
Since when was she so close to his mother?
Izumi looked back at him with a curious expression while his mother cooed affectionately and placed a hand to her cheek.
"Why, you've always been such a cute girl. I'm so happy Sakyo has someone like you in his life."
Izumi laughed softly and grabbed the plate Sakyo's mom was holding and placed it on the table, her cheeks warming.
"I'm getting old, Sakyo." His mom scolded him, making the man awkwardly place his hands on his knees. "You should be getting married soon."
"Mom." Sakyo sighed in exasperation, having heard this conversation way too many times already.
"If you fail to put a ring on her finger I will rise from my grave and ruin your life."
Sakyo paused.
Well. That was new.
Izumi sputtered out a laugh and covered her mouth with a hand, waving at Sakyo's mom to dismiss the threat.
"Let's have this talk another day." The director giggled. "We aren't together yet."
Sakyo's mom hit the table.
"Yet?"
"Mom, please."
"I'll talk to him about it later, Ma... Let's eat, okay?" Izumi was grinning from ear to ear as Sakyo stared at side profile, helpless (but a little hopeful?).
"You better give my son an earful. I don't care if it's his birthday." She said.
Izumi winked. "Of course."

how about sakoda going all out for the boss' birthday with autumun troupe's help ? 💫
Tumblr media
𝐀 𝐍 𝐈 𝐊 𝐈
Tumblr media
“Hey, Boss Lady!” Sakoda barged into the kitchen, causing Izumi to scream with shock and drop her unopened water bottle on the floor.
“Jeez! Warn me before you go and give me a heart attack!”
The frightened look on Izumi’s face made Sakoda pout and he stopped his trudging around to politely walk up to her and grab her hand with puppy eyes.
“Can ya help me? I wanted to celebrate Boss’ birthday today at the Ginsenkai house, but needed some assistance.”
The pleading face he wore made it difficult for Izumi to decline and she frowned, scratching her cheek. “I don’t know...”
“Please? Plus, I think Big Boss would love to see ya!”
Ugh. And if there’s another thing Izumi couldn’t say no to, it was Patriarch Izumida.
She waved her hand dismissively and nodded, pain etched on her features.
“Fine. But I’m bringing Autumn Troupe with us.”
Sakoda whooped and clapped his hands with his shark grin, dragging Izumi into a bone-crushing hug.
“Aw, yeah!”
Tumblr media
“You’re tellin’ me we gotta do all this for that damn geezer?” Azami griped as he hauled some huge ass letters that spelled Sakyo’s name with Banri. The pair were trudging towards the wall with some gorilla tape while Omi was carrying a ladder behind them with ease.
Taichi and Juza were running around trying to help set up the large tables with food while Izumi assisted the other members of the Izumida Clan with where to put the decorations, Sakoda excitedly running back and forth with more and more supplies that he had picked up a while ago.
“Dude, tell me ‘bout it. Sakyo’s gonna fuckin’ freak.” Banri mumbled tiredly, thanking Omi who set up the ladder for him. “He’s gonna get mad..”
“Tell me about it.” Azami groaned, hauling up one of the letters onto the hall after sticking tape on the back. “Spending this much money? Sakoda’s gonna get it.”
Omi chuckled at the conversation the two Sakyo haters were having and held onto the ladder as the two young boys stood on it.
"Hey, they won't know if you eat one." Taichi whispered to Juza who was staring at the cupcakes at the other end of the table.
Izumi butted in before the devil on Juza's shoulder encouraged him even more. "Do not do that."
She handed Juza a lollipop before he could send her a dejected look and the boy smiled slightly, unwrapping the sweet and popping it into his mouth while Taichi pretended he was doing something else.
Izumi sighed.
Tumblr media
Sakyo checked his phone to see what the time was.
Ugh.
Five minutes late.
He hoped Patriarch Izumida was in a good mood tonight, because he normally didn't let tardiness get past him.
If you were late, you'd usually get lectured for a good five minutes. Albeit short, it was very effective.
He hurried inside of the building with quick steps, not even minding that the lights weren't on. He just needed to get to the meeting room before Patriarch Izumida called him and—
"SURPRISE!"
Suddenly, the lights flashed on and Sakyo was met with the whole Ginsenkai Clan and the Autumn Troupe, party streamers and poppers being thrown and sprayed at him as all the men in the room cheered for Sakyo.
"BOSS FURUICHI IN THE HOUSE!" Sakoda whooped into a microphone that was connected to four speakers at the front of the room, Patriarch Izumida sitting at the head chair as each member clapped their hands.
Sakyo froze in his spot like a deer in headlights, the centre of all the chaos that was happening inside the house while Izumi and Taichi jumped up and down with excitement, Azami & Banri begrudgingly clapping along while Juza was getting distracted by Omi who was giving him another lollipop.
"I'm so glad you were able t'make it, Boss!" Sakoda said as he ran up to Sakyo with a huge grin on his face. "Yer not normally this late so I got kinda worried! Almost called the cops to search for ya!"
Sakyo was then wrapped up in a tight hug with Sakoda's face pressed into his chest.
"I— wha— ugh." Sakyo sighed in exasperation, head hurting with how much decorations he saw littering the clan's house.
God. Why.
"Happy birthday, Sakyo!" Izumi cheered beside Patriarch Izumida who was grinning like a father would at his own daughter. She was waving at Sakyo while she held onto Izumida's hand while Azami stood on his other side.
"How much money did you spend on all this?" Sakyo griped as he gently pushed Sakoda away, straightening his clothing.
"Details ain't important when it's for the Boss! Come on, let's get the party started!" Sakoda waved his hand before Sakyo could get mad and bounced towards the laptop that was set up beside one of the speakers, tapping the space bar to get his personalized playlist for Sakyo going.
Suddenly there were beers and hard liquor being passed around to all of the adults (apple juice for the boys under twenty), and they all cheered in the name of Sakyo who was trying his best not to feel embarrassed.
He his his face behind his hand and raised his bottle of beer to the air, and everyone roared.
"Cheers to Sakyo Furuichi!"

Yuzo stopping by and finding out it's Sakyos birthday so he buys him a drink and talks about how much he's grown idk I can't think of anything right now.✨
Tumblr media
𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐚 𝐤𝐢𝐝
Tumblr media
“Oh? What’s this?” Yuzo had walked in on Izumi, Matsukawa and Tetsuro (don’t forget Kamekichi too) giving Sakyo a gift that they had gathered to buy together.
Sakyo would have hated it if he got individual gifts from all of them, so they decided that working on one present would please him much more than annoy him.
Izumi’s head turned towards Yuzo when she heard him and gave him a sweet smile, gesturing towards Sakyo who was inwardly groaning at the presence of the old geezer.
Tetsuro answered for Izumi, his eyes glinting when his gaze met Yuzo’s and the former Mankai actor nodded, crossing his arms over his chest with a crooked grin.
“I see. Well.” Yuzo checked the time on his watch and pursed his lips. “Sakyo. Get ready to leave in ten minutes.”
Sakyo rubbed his face.
Tumblr media
“Why’d you invite me out here?” Sakyo sighed exasperatedly as he watched Yuzo personally pour him a shot to the brim, the clear liquid teetering at the rim when the older man slammed the bottle onto the bar.
“I was told it was your birthday.” Yuzo said with an annoying grin.
Sakyo wanted to throw his shot at him.
“I’ve got things to do, Yuzo.” The blond frowned and held the glass to his mouth, downing it in one go without so much as a wince.
Yuzo’s eyes glimmered with amusement. “You say as you take the shot.”
The little jab makes Sakyo purse his lips and he lets Yuzo refill his glass, licking drying lips to keep himself from talking anymore. The person across of him seemed to accept his silence, and Yuzo drank his own shot.
“I just wanted to have some time to take a good look at you.” He said honestly, clearing his throat with a high whistle as the alcohol burned his throat, hand coming up to slap Sakyo on the shoulder.
“You’ve grown, boy.”
With a grimace, Sakyo let himself get hit.
“...I know.”
“You used to only reach my hip.” Yuzo chuckled. “You were a small boy. And to think you’ve become a man in such a short amount of time.”
Sakyo thumbed over the rim of his little cup and sighed, shaking his head. “It’s been almost twenty years.”
Yuzo downed another shot and barely raised his eyebrows, tapping his finger against the bar. “Has it?”
“I’m thirty-one.” Sakyo murmured, running a hand through his hair.
Yuzo scoffed. “Well I’ll be damned.” The man scratched at his scruff with a grin.
“Thirty-one and still haven’t made a move on my little girl, huh?”
Sakyo choked on his spit.
“Don’t think you’re so sly with those glances, kid.” Yuzo chuckled, pouring Sakyo one more shot. “Izumi’s too air headed to notice though. I’m surprised you haven’t done anything after all these years.”
“Yeah. Well.” Sakyo shrugged and gladly took the drink, squeezing his eyes shut as his throat burned. He slammed the glass back on the bar with a light sniff and started to bounce his knee.
“The time isn’t right.”
“Using your brain as always.” Yuzo sighed, nodding.
Then the former actor pursed his lips. “I’m glad you came back when the theatre needed somebody the most.”
“...I didn’t do much.” Sakyo said honestly. It was Izumi who did all the work. He was only doing his best to support her when she needed the help.
“Uh huh.” Yuzo said, unconvinced. “I don’t think you understand how thankful I am for you. I’m glad you’re chasin’ your dreams again, boy.”
Sakyo was slapped on the shoulder again and he audibly grunted.
“I’m countin’ on you and Izumi to make Mankai the best theatre out there on Veludo. Happy birthday.”

For Sakyo's birthday: Banri wants to give him a present but doesn't want to do it directly 🌟
Tumblr media
𝐬𝐢𝐤𝐞! 𝐥𝐦𝐚𝐨𝐨𝐨
Tumblr media
Banri hated the thought of walking up to Sakyo just to give him a gift.
God, if he could he’d throw it at that old man’s face and call it a day, but he was told to be nice. He doesn’t remember who said that, but he was going to shake some sense into them if the name pops up into his mind.
He paced back and forth in the lounge room with Izumi watching him with boredom in her eyes, the gift in his hands shaking as he impatiently waited for Sakyo to leave his damn room.
Honestly, he could have just left it outside of his room and done a doorbell ditch kind of thing, but Banri wasn’t a kid (he is, but hates when Sakyo calls him that).
“Just sit down.” Izumi groaned, her head falling back against the couch. “You’re gonna wear down the floor.”
Banri frowned and swivelled around to face Izumi who was staring back at him.
“What is taking him so long?” He groaned back and flopped down beside the director when she patted the spot next to her.
Izumi shrugged and curled a comforting arm around the student’s shoulder, patting him to calm his nerves.
“He’s probably finishing up some work in his room. Chill.”
And just as Izumi said that, the familiar footfalls of everyone’s favourite dad was heard coming down the hallway.
Oh god. Oh no.
Banri was going to throw the present at his face and make a dash for it.
But before he could, Sakyo was already in front of Izumi and Banri and young man nearly cried with agony.
Izumi looked at him expectantly, but Banri frowned.
“Here.” He said quietly as Sakyo looked at him with a curious frown. He held out the small box to him with a defeated sigh, and just as Sakyo was about to reach out for the gift and thank him, Banri quickly retracted his hand and gave the gift to Izumi who froze.
“SIKE. It’s not for you. Bye, Oldie.” And with the relief of handing off the present to Izumi, Banri gave a shit-eating grin to Sakyo who was rolling his eyes and stood from the couch, bolting down the hallway to run into his room to bug Juza.
“Um.” Izumi said as Sakyo plopped down her with a sigh.
“Idiot.” The blond muttered under his breath and kindly took away the gift, slightly endeared by the little note that was obviously written in Banri’s writing.
And damn, was Banri truly an idiot because that dumbass bought Sakyo a whole new fucking wristwatch.
Just because he broke his old one didn’t mean he asked for a new watch. Rich kids and their damn money.
(Sakyo thanked Banri with a rough pat on his back.)

“You can’t be serious.” Sakyo rubbed a hand down his face when he saw the CD cover Izumi was holding up.
"Wha— come on! The original one isn't actually that bad." The director pouted, waving the case around.
Sakyo would love to beg to differ, but he'd never actually watched Cats before, neither the newest one or the original one.
"Fine..." Sakyo sighed again, shaking his head as Izumi grinned and scurried towards the CD player in front of the TV, inserting the disc as Sakyo went to turn off the lights.
"We'll watch some others too. I know you really wanted to watch Hadestown because the music was awesome."
"We don't have tickets to Hadestown." Sakyo said, dubious. Hadestown was an in-person experience only, and the man knew that Izumi didn't have the guts to watch bootlegged videos of stuff.
"Then we'll just get some." She said nonchalantly while they both sat on the sofa together, Sakyo leaning into the corner with one leg on the couch, Izumi scooting back into his chest.
"Tickets are expensive." Sakyo frowned, watching the back of Izumi's head as she made herself comfortable and navigated the menu to the musical of Cats.
"Then we'll watch Starkid after Cats." Izumi shrugged. "Or Les Mis?"
Izumi turned her head to glance at Sakyo who had his lips pursed, and she started the musical once he curled his arms around her waist.
"Les Mis first." He mumbled as the first scene rolled by, chin hooked atop Izumi's head. "Starkid last to lighten the mood."
Izumi nodded.
And well. As enjoyable as the music in Cats was, Sakyo was way too distracted by Izumi's comments.
"Oh my god, Rum Tum Tugger." She sighed softly and ran a hand down her face. "Oh, Tim Curry."
"You're looking at a cat, right now." Sakyo whispered.
Izumi waved her hand to dismiss him.
"Wow. I can't stop staring at their boobs." She laughed under her breath.
Sakyo facepalmed.
"Izumi."
"Ugh, it's not my fault." She groaned.
Sakyo rolled his eyes and began to push Izumi forward until her feet touched the floor. "Go switch it to Les Mis, you pervert."
And unfortunately for Sakyo, Izumi wasn't immune to Jean Valjean.
"Really?" He groaned. "Him?"
"Stop judging me!"

Taichi accidentally calls sakyo dad after receiving his gift was great 🌟

What.
What.
Taichi gaped at the new deck that sat atop the coffee table.
It stared back.
What was this doing here? Why is it here? Did one of the Mankai members steal it and bring it home? Leaving it out in the open like this? Who else skated in the company?
Did. Did Taichi steal it? In his sleep or something?
“What are you staring at it for?” Sakyo griped as he walked into the lounge from the kitchen with a thermos full of tea. He saw Taichi enter the lounge and stop in his tracks but didn’t make a move to pick it up.
Waiting wasn’t an answer, so Sakyo used his presence as a prompt for Taichi to inspect the deck closer.
“Um. I don’t know. It’s just there.” Taichi pouted at the scolding tone and took a step toward the coffee table, eyes silently grazing over the wicked design that trailed along the board.
“Yeah. It’s for you.” Sakyo sighed, holding his thermos in one hand while gesturing towards the new skateboard deck. “It’s your birthday present.”
Whipping his head towards Sakyo, Taichi’s eyes had grown wide.
“What? From who?”
“From me, idiot.”
“From you?” Taichi couldn’t believe his ears. Sakyo buying him a gift on his birthday?
THE Sakyo Furuichi?
Buying Lil’ Ol’ Taichi a present?
If Taichi could, he’d probably cry.
“So...it’s really mine?” Taichi brushed his fingers along the paint on the board and looked between the gift and Sakyo who had his lips pursed.
“Yes. You kept talking about wanting a new deck to put your trucks on, so I bought that with the help of Banri.”
“No way.” Taichi gasped loudly and reached out for the board, immediately hugging it to his chest with a wobbly pout. “Thanks, Dad!”
Sakyo pushed his glasses up his nose. “No probl--”
“What.” Izumi tripped on her way to the kitchen when Taichi said it and whipped around in surprise.
Sakyo turned his head to Izumi, glancing at her.
The two adults stared at each other for 30 seconds while Taichi stood there frozen. Slowly, seconds passed, Izumi’s pleading eyes waiting for Sakyo to realize the situation.
“Oh.”
“Yeah.”
“Taichi...what did you call me?” Sakyo turned to the redheaded boy again, expression unreadable.
“N-Nothing...”
“Hey, it’s okay if you see me as a father figure...”
“I didn’t call you dad!” Taichi screamed all of a sudden, ears red as Izumi and Sakyo were stunned into silence. Taichi began to turn around to run back to his room.
“Taichi, it’s okay--”
“I CALLED YOU BAD! YOU’RE BAD!”
Taichi then ran down the hallway to barge into his bedroom with the new skateboard deck, accidentally slamming his door on the way in.
Izumi sputtered out a laugh while Sakyo sighed.
“Thanks, Bad.” She teased and poked the man who playfully swatted her away.
He guesses that conversation can continue another time.

LEMME KISS THIS MAN ON THE CHEEK BECAUSE GOT CAKE ON IT 🥺🌟
Tumblr media
𝐧𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬!
Tumblr media
Sakyo was far from being a messy eater, but sometimes there were exceptions.
The cake Omi had baked was nice and all, but the icing just like to get everywhere, and unfortunately, left Sakyo’s hand more than a little messy.
He had wiped his fingers with a tissue before he began to dig into his cake, murmuring his compliments to the baker as it wasn’t too sweet for his own tastebuds.
Of course, there were sweeter confectionaries made by Omi for the sweet tooths of the company and both you and Sakyo ignored them so that Juza, Muku, Hisoka, and Azuma could have more.
It happened when you was pushing his glasses up with the back of his hand, and a bit of the frosting that he forgot to wipe off ended up on his cheek.
Both you and Azuma noticed it and you two even shared a knowing glance when Sakyo went back to eating his cake without noticing what he had just done.
“Go for it.” Azuma mouthed at you with a cheeky smile to which you smiled devilishly.
You sidled up to the man like you always did, scooting close to him on the sofa as he spared you a glance. He nodded to acknowledge your presence but continued to eat and didn’t turn his head until you called his name.
“Hey, Sakyo.” You said, a hint of urgency behind your voice.
He was about to answer with a tired ‘what’, but was totally caught off guard when he turned his head, your mouth meeting his cheek in a playful kiss as the frosting that was on his skin tapped your lips.
“Uh-” He said, flinching at the warm touch as you pulled away with a pleased smile, his pupils shaking as he watched you swipe the frosting from your lips with a flick of your tongue, Azuma giggling behind his hand in the background.
“You should work on your manners, Sakyo.” You scolded him, the corners of your mouth trembling as you tried to keep a straight face. Sakyo’s face was so flushed that you felt like you were going to burst if you held back your laugh any longer.
You leaned over again to place a more meaningful kiss to his cheek, getting rid of the rest of the frosting that you missed.
“Wipe your face, okay?” You laughed.
Sakyo had to hide his face behind his hands while the other members of the company began to ‘ooh’ at you two.

💫💫💫for omi's birthday can we get autumn making him a birthday cake that doesn't turn out very well aesthetically
Tumblr media
𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐩𝐢𝐬𝐚
Tumblr media
“Why the hell is the cake lopsided?” Sakyo groaned as he walked into the kitchen with some of Omi’s favourite candies he bought with Izumi not too long ago.
Banri, Juza, and Taichi were working on the cake as he went to buy some stuff to decorate with the frosting, and he came home to this. A cake that was falling apart and three teenagers who were barking at each other, fighting over what colour to make the frosting.
“An orange tint! Doesn’t that suit Omi?” Taichi complained while holding up his orange food colouring that he was on the verge of spilling into the white frosting without permission. Banri knew what he was planning though and snatched the capsule away from the smaller boy with gritted teeth.
“No fuckin’ way. Let’s do red.” Banri said, keeping his lovely aesthetic choices in mind, while both Juza and Taichi cringed at the terrible suggestion.
“Can we just keep it white? We don’t need to be flashy.” The purple-haired boy muttered, staring at the cake as it sadly drooped on one side.
Taichi was too hasty and wanted to pile the cakes on top of each other when they weren’t even fully cooled yet, so it was inevitable for the thing to look so...depressing.
Juza didn’t even protest when Sakyo talked about how ugly the thing was; he agreed.
“Here. Strategically put these on the cake when you brats are done choosing a colour.” Sakyo muttered and threw the plastic bag in his hand on top of the counter.
“Why are there pistachios in here?” Taichi scrunched his nose, holding up the package to which Sakyo quickly snatched the small bag from the kid’s hand.
“Those are for me and Izumi.” Sakyo sighed. “The cashews are for Omi.”
Banri made a disgusted sound. “You want us to put cashews on the cake? Like fuckin’ maniacs?”
The man with the glasses braced himself against the doorway of the kitchen with a deep inhale, holding himself back from bashing his head against the back of his hand.
“There’s M&Ms in the bag, dipshit.” The blond gritted. “Use those.”
“Wow. Why didn’t ya just say so?” Banri grinned and grabbed the bag of chocolate when he found it, nodding at Juza as he split open the wrapper. “We’ll keep the frosting white to save time.”
Juza nodded back and began to frost the cake as best as he could without making the tiers collapse more than they already had, Sakyo watching the three teenagers from the doorway as they bickered and threw chocolates at the spots Juza had covered with the frosting.
“God, that is so ugly.” Izumi whispered beside Sakyo when she took a peek over his shoulder, gently prying the pistachios from his hand to start munching on them as the trio in the kitchen screamed when the cake leaned just a liiiittle more to the side.
“If it’s from the heart, I’m sure Fushimi will like it.” Sakyo shrugged and snatched a pistachio from Izumi’s fingers.
And the old man was right, actually, because despite the overload of candies on the cake and despite half of the cake already collapsing by the time Omi entered the kitchen with his dazzling smile and very brotherly greeting of ruffling the hair of each boy, the man really did love it.
Some parts really were undercooked though, deeming the cake kind of inedible, but Omi loved the effort that was put in it, and he absolutely loved the messy writing that wrote out ‘Happy Birthday!’.
It was kind of lucky that the man had brought home a bakery bought cake to share with everyone though. It was sitting on the coffee table.
Juza still ate the messed up one (don’t waste food as Sakyo would say).

Happy bday Banri even tho u annoying we still love u. Can request sakyo being kind to Banri lmao

Tumblr media
“Uh. What.” Uneasy, Banri scooted further away from the man who sat beside him on the sofa.
“Happy birthday.” Sakyo said kindly while handing Banri a gift card and a keyring that held a bunch of personalized coupons on them.
Suspicious, the teen snatched the coupons from Sakyo to squint at whatever ridiculous offers were there on the flimsy pieces of papers. With each coupon he flipped over, there would be an even more outrageous sentence. It honestly felt like Banri was dreaming.
“This can’t be right.” Banri laughed incredulously, reading over the last coupon.
‘One free fight against Omi’. Seriously?
“You know I don’t fight anymore.” Banri complained and flopped against the sofa. “And that other coupon? I get to use your credit card on whatever I want? I don’t believe it.”
Sakyo’s expression didn’t change, but Banri could feel the flare in his aura when he mentioned ‘credit card’. Figures. It seems like someone else had made these coupons.
“These coupons are awfully generous coming from someone like you.” Banri accused. crossing his arms over his chest. No way in hell this man came up with this many coupons. He might have to snatch that credit card one though.
The two Autumn members had a stare off for five seconds before Sakyo began to roll his eyes and tilt his head back with a sigh, his body sagging.
“Izumi.”
“Izumi?” Banri echoed. “Damn, she really knows what I like.”
“She told me to be nice to you today so I agreed.” Sakyo sighed again, fixing his posture on the sofa to harmlessly glare at Banri.
“There must’ve been some incentive. You never agree that fast.” The teenager wagged his finger at the older man who made a stank face and shook his head in annoyance. Banri knew too many things. It was a little annoying.
“We’re goin’ out later.” Sakyo mumbled gruffly.
“Oh, you are so lovesick.” Banri gagged. “Let me come with.”
Sakyo made another face. “Unless you wanna play my kid or somethin’, no.”
Banri pouted then noticed Izumi emerging from the hallway. He perked up at the sight of her and gave the director a lazy salute.
“Yo, Izumi. Can I join you and Sakyo on your date?” His smile was charming but it was ineffective. Izumi spared him a single glance before heading to the kitchen.
Wow. So much for telling Sakyo to be nice to him.
“It’ll be like a family going on a casual stroll through the neighbourhood! Wouldn’t I make a cute son?” The teen fluttered his pretty lashes at Izumi who came back to brace herself against the back of the couch, water bottle in hand.
With a blank face, Izumi took a swig of a water then looked at Sakyo who was staring back at her, helpless.
“He can charm the ladies at the market and we can get things for cheaper.” She shrugged to which Sakyo pinched his nose.
Goddamn. She was right.
“It’s his birthday too. We’ll get extras.” Izumi whispered, nudging Sakyo’s shoulder with her water bottle.
And when Sakyo and Izumi finally agreed, Banri whooped loudly and left the lounge to get ready for his excursion with the couple (they weren’t together, but they were always mistaken for a married couple).
Sakyo watched as Banri left before turning back to Izumi with a frown.
“My credit card?” He griped.
Izumi smiled, shrugging her shoulders.
“Gotta learn how to give, Sakyo.”

🌟Something must be done about the lack of requests! Could you write Sakyo begrudgingly gifting Juza a calligraphy set?
Tumblr media
𝐩𝐚𝐩𝐚'𝐬 𝐠𝐢𝐟𝐭
Tumblr media
Sakyo sighed as he stared at the calligraphy set that sat in the passenger’s seat of his car.
He remembered hearing that Juza grew up learning shodo (the way of writing) and that he was skilled in it. It was even apparent in his signature, neat, but distinctive writing.
Sakyo rarely saw Juza practice it anymore and he figured that it was because of his time being spent in Mankai and other circumstances like his high school experiences.
Sakyo didn’t have a lot of time getting to do the things he wanted to do when he was younger, and the art of writing seemed to be a good way to relieve any stress that Juza had.
He was reluctant in buying the gift though. Juza was hard to read at times, and Sakyo would be a little embarrassed if Juza were to show no interest in his present.
“I think Juza would appreciate it if it came from you.” Izumi encouraged Sakyo over the phone when he was at checkout, and honestly, that was all the push he needed to go through with the payment.
The older man sighed and left his car with the present in hand and marched his way towards the dorm with false confidence, bracing himself for the confusion and silence that would happen between them once he he’d bumped into him.
“Hyodo.” Sakyo called out when he saw the teen relaxing on the couch with a lollipop in his mouth, a candy that Izumi had passed onto him just a few minutes ago.
“Mm.” The kid grunted and threw his head back against the sofa to look at who was calling for him, the stick from his candy poking out from his mouth as he rolled it around his tongue. His eyes were half open; showing Sakyo that he was probably half asleep.
“I got you a present.” Sakyo sighed and looked at the black box in his hands, the gold decal shining attractively underneath the lounge lights as he approached the boy with slow steps.
Juza perked up at the prospect of receiving a gift from Sakyo and turned his body halfway to face the man, eyes still half lidded with the candy hanging from his mouth as he eyed the black box.
“A shodo set?” He muttered through his stick and held his hands out when Sakyo motioned for Juza to take it.
“Yeah. The set you have now is old, right?” Sakyo’s fingers almost forgot to let go of the box when it was taken from his hand and he shoved his hands into his own coat pockets once Juza started to curiously examine the gift.
“Haven’t used it since my last year of middle school.”
Sakyo nodded his head and jutted his chin at the box. “Figured. So that’s yours now.”
And really, Juza didn’t know what to say.
He looked up at Sakyo, dumbfounded, only to receive a ruffle to his hair from the adult.
“Just don’t make a mess with the ink.” The blond muttered and quickly took his hand back to save himself even more embarrassment.
Juza mustered up a smile and nodded, once again going back to admiring the box in his hands.
“....Happy birthday, Kid.”
