Oh, you must have missed my posts on the message board! I announces that I was going to take them down. It gave me physical anxiety when I saw that people voted or commented on the stories that I wasn't happy with.

Mind you, I wrote them from when I was 13 — 17, so the earlier stuff (the stealer, crazy for you, the hybridz, Stockholm syndrome, dollhouse, whiplash etc) are absolutely not what I want for people to read of me now. When I was younger, I didn't have the same type of thinking that I have now, resulting in me writing things that I'm not proud of today!

I did still very much enjoy stories like The hotel (although that might have been a little too much for a fanfiction), Titanic (after i rewrote it), taken by the mafia (after I rewrote it), tame her, and heroes & villains. I'm probably forgetting some, but you get the point haha — the newer stories.

I still like all the general plots and ideas for the books, but the writing and some scenes is what made me take them down — and especially since they're fanfiction. If you look at an ask I replied to under, you'll see that it's a possibility of the books coming back, but in another way!!<3

my honest opinion is that if people gave it a chance, the witcher could survive without henry. i think the rest of the cast is incredibly talented and they would be able to carry the show. if netflix got the recasting right (and this is the bit i am unsure about) i think the show could survive in quality. however, and this is the big thing, i'm not sure how many fans are going to give it the chance. recasting your main lead is incredibly difficult and a death blow to a lot of shows. i think there will be a lot of people who don't give it a chance without henry - and i do understand that because he is such a prominent part of this series. i know i will give it a chance because the scene stealers for me have always been anya and joey, but a lot will hinge on how liam picks up the role. at the moment i believe they've been greenlit for two more seasons (so that's up to season 5) and i think they'd be full length seasons as they're suggesting doing two back-to-back. however, this is netflix and anything can change depending on the reception to season 3.

i'm uncertain about how blood origin will fair, correct me if i'm wrong, but i believe it has just been planned as a stand-alone prequel spinoff as in, there is not going to be a season 2. it also concerns me that i believe it was originally commissioned as six episodes, but it's been cut down into four. i do think people will check it out simply because of the allure of jaskier (which to be honest, is a very clever marketing move), but reviews have not been great. i don't necessarily think the critics are an honest view of audience enjoyment (in fact, i think they're wrong a lot of the time and overly harsh to get clicks), but this along with it being cut down does make me concerned about whether it will feel 'rushed' and not a fully developed show.

Hi! Wanted to ask if 911 is worth watching. Looking for a new show to watch.

Heyyyy! 💕💖 The short answer is yes, lol.

Obviously I'm a big fan of the show, so I'm definitely biased; however, I do love the show and think it's really, really good. It actually surprised me. I went into it because I'd seen too many buddie gifsets, and I couldn't ignore it anymore. So I specifically started the show bc of buddie. Oddly enough, while I love buddie, they are not the reason I LOVE the show. It's a very grown up show that tells grown up stories about life, love, loss, and growth amidst the background of emergency responders. It's very deep (not that I like every plot line), and the character growth has really blown me away. I went in for buddie, but I fell in love with the firefam and every single character. I almost never like or care about everyone in a show. Usually I have a few favorites, and I'll suffer through everyone else's arcs. But not here. I care about each one. Bobby's story is so lovely and heartbreaking, and his journey is so beautiful. Athena and Michael's relationship and growth completely blew me away, and Hen and Karen are relationship goals (Hen is my fave). Oh gosh, and Bobby/Michael shenanigans are my fave! So long answer, yes, I totally think it's worth it if you're into long term, multi-seasonal storytelling about real life problems adults face. It can be gory at times. I have definitely watched a few episodes with my fingers in my ears, chanting, "Lalala," with my eyes closed. I don't do blood, violence, or gore, and I still love the show--the stories are that captivating. Oh, and each episode makes me laugh. They're really good at mixing comedy into the serious stuff, just great comedic timing, and did I mention Angela Bassett yet? Bc she's on the show, and she's an absolute goddess. Scene stealer.

Okay, sorry. This is a very long answer, but I really do love this show and could go on and on about it. I also watch 911: Lone Star, which is the Texas spin-off. It's also really good, and the cast is overall younger, so their stories are different bc they're in different places in their lives. Some people like both. Some prefer one to the other. I recommend both, but i personally like the og better.

I'm just gonna throw this in here bc you said you were looking for a new show... If you're into fun, campy good times with a lot of magic and idiocy, I highly, highly recommend Merlin. It's been off air 10 years almost, and the fandom is still going strong. I ADORE this show. It's a feel good romp that just makes me happy, and again I love all of the characters. Merlin gave me such Xena vibes, and I loved Xena growing up. It was my favorite show. Anywho, I hope this is helpful and not too much. I don't watch a lot of shows bc i have to balance writing, reading, and watching with real life, so I'd happily recommend others, but I don't know what genres you're into or what you've seen. Catching up on both 911's, if you so choose, would keep you busy for awhile. 😆😌😌

and this problem has been around for so long. like Joker obsessed fans for example. the Jokers appeal is that he's a despicable villain. in fiction. so when you love him and think he's awesome, you think that he's awesome for a character. but if he was real you wouldn't be thinking "oh but like, he's right tho"

I've called this man many things. from "my baby" to "a fucking creep". both are true. I love this fictional character. he's one of my babies. not the highest in comparison to others, but he be up there. he's just such an appealing character. he's hilarious, he's a scene stealer, he's p hot, he can be adorable.

but he's also insane, a creep, an um... well, id actually debate about that but he's... well irl he'd defo be labelled a pedo, lets be real.

ofc I'd want someone like that irl to not be allowed to see daylight :'D

but Hisoka is so specifically fictional, he's so fictional. that's his appeal. the story he's in is super anime-esque, and he is anime-esque.

if I fangirl over Hisoka, its bc I'm enjoying his character.

but people pull their love for these characters into real life, debating their morality and how they're not really bad guys. that's insane to me. absolutely insane. Hisoka would and should be locked up if he was real. tho like I said, someone like Hisoka is so SO. FICTIONAL. he's not like a real person.

so looking back on my old liveblog of this and the seasons I watched, I constantly reiterate the same things

that I have no big connection to SnK. its a good show, its emotional (even if I've no emotional attachment), its well written, gorgeously animated, fantastic voice acting, superb score, etc etc

I've no hardcore ship, but Levi/Hanji has always been up there AS the fave

I've no fave character but there's some I like more than others (and it hasn't changed apparently, they're the exact same characters

but I've noticed I mention Levi quite a lot. from how fucking beautiful he is (painfully so), to how interesting he is

I'm an anti-hero girl. idk if Levi qualifies as one, bc I dont think he fits into any category. He's pretty unique, a scene stealer, him doing the mildest thing is interesting.

Levi/Hanji is my SnK OTP, but its never been like, a big one. And Hange I always considered as my fave, but Levi is defo up there

I thoroughly understand his popularity. He's so well written. He's perfect and flawed

Even if by the end I end up hating him (it could happen), I'll document it along the way if something changes for me. It can happen, and there's nothing more disappointing, but with Levi, it'll be fun to analyse
