What would jamie in therapy look like?

Jamie really enjoys talking about things he likes and is interested in, and he's drawn to therapy by the idea that he would have someone to talk at about his day-to-day woes, so I think his first couple of sessions would mostly just be him talking about football and complaining about the problems he's having at Richmond (ie everyone hating him.)

Sharon suggests trying to show his teammates that he's sorry and open to changing through day-to-day actions instead of words/gifts, and it totally works, which builds a good rapport and makes him more willing to open up

After a few sessions of successfully working through some of the surface-level issues he has with the team and Roy and all that, Jamie feels more comfortable with Sharon and mentions that he's nervous about playing City in the semi-finals. And of course she's like "that's understandable, the stakes are high" and whatnot but he's like "no, I'm nervous because my dad will be there, and he's going to be a dick."

So they start scratching the surface of the abuse and enmeshment and setting boundaries and all that (very vaguely - "he's a prick," "he drinks," "he's on my ass all the time," "I take care of him," etc) which is where you get "I'd rather them not" and "Don't speak to me like that." But once Jamie's comfortable breeching the subject of his dad, it's like the floodgates open and they talk about his parents almost every day

They mostly talk about James and PTSD management, but they also talk a lot about Georgie and Simon, and sometimes Keeley and Roy and Ted

Jamie tells Sharon about the time James took him to Amsterdam as like. A positive memory, because his dad showed up for him and did something nice for him for once even if it "ended bad," and she honors his feelings about what happened but also tries to help him understand that what he experienced was rape & covert incest and shouldn't have happened

akito is probably one of the funnier project sekai characters just as a concept because he takes himself so seriously and is like ur typical “I’m cool and tough” teen boy character but the game itself is so unserious & so is everyone he knows so he’s constantly getting stuck in Situations. His best friend is fairly serious but also is like the no.1 reason he gets dragged into shit. If I could choose one character to learn about the other unit sekais it would be akito because I want him to experience the wxs sekai so badly.

First and foremost, Mikasa is a hopeless romantic. Picnic dates, matching phone cases, doing each other’s makeup, matching clothing, hair ties in each other’s cars, bike riding together—name any cute, cliche coupe activity and it’s likely on her bucket list. She doesn’t (rarely) always vocalize this, but the desire is there.

Actually waits to binge/watch shows with you lmfaoo. Sometimes she’ll start a series and realize it’s something you’d be into, and then tries to convert you into watching it with her together (this also provides opportunity for her to lay on your lap).

Strange relationship with PDA. She’s not against it, but at the same time she’s not… actively trying to make sure everyone within a 40 mile radius knows that you’re dating. There are things she’s firm on—insists on holding hands when you can, won’t let you leave her for the day without a forehead kiss—but others are a kinda play it by ear situation. If you’re so caught up that you want to kiss her in public, she won’t say no to that; and, if the moment is right and you two are bit more cuddly than usual on your date, then so be it.

100% an enabler when it comes to things you want to buy. You don’t even need to tell her what it is, she’ll say you should get it. In fact, get two so she can have one, too, you know she’s got a thing for matching with you.

Queen of inconspicuous pictures. A third of Mikasa’s camera roll is dedicated to pictures of you, and honestly she’s got a good eye for photography. She doesn’t show you all of them—likes to look back on them occasionally when she needs a little pick me up.

She wants you to meet/get along with Eren and Armin, but she knows they can be…. intense. If you guys aren’t all friends before, then it’s actually Eren you get introduced to first for three reasons: 1) Mikasa can and will beat him up if he’s acting rude, 2) Mikasa knows Eren isn’t the most… social being and might need extra time to warm up to you, and conversely she knows he comes off a bit strong to some and wants you to have ample opportunity to actually get to know him, 3) Eren is more nosey, so he would have gotten to you first anyway. She’s quite happy that you’re all friends in the end, she thinks it’s cute when you guys hang out alone and when Armin or Eren get concerned about you on her behalf.

She’s… getting better at cooking. The basics were always there, but since getting together she’s been experimenting with new dishes and it’s going well! She doesn’t always have the time to cook, but acts of service is her love language, so being able to do anything for you brings her joy.

Big spoon? Little spoon? It changes, let’s say that. She does like holding you and really, really likes it when you fall asleep first, but she also adores falling asleep with her head in your lap in particular. Something about it is so comforting to her, and she finds herself seeking that comfort out more and more frequently :(( you just make her feel really safe, which isn’t always something she’s been familiar with.

the THING about Disloyal Order Of Water Buffaloes is that, #1, it is one of the most melodically satisfying songs I've ever heard and that's why it was one of the first FOB songs I actually listened to of my own free choice, and #2, it makes people crazy insane bc so many of the lyrics simply make zero sense on a surface level EXCEPT "I'm half doomed and you're semi sweet" which IMMEDIATELY gets across its point and acts as a thesis statement to the song, thus allowing an understanding of the rest of the lyrics to fall into place
