ok we watched the barbie movie and i must be ovulating because the emotional levers were successfully pulled and i did cry but i was also mad part of the time.
i'd say i have a few thoughts and questions about the depiction of ruth handler lol but i haven't put it into succinct enough words yet
interesting they'd do the jokes about earring magic ken and growing up skipper and uh whatever pregnant midge was called and do a joke about ruth handler's...tax evasion? did she really do tax evasion? but they didn't touch on bild lilli. maybe they can't
sooo barbie is a god and mattel are her... stewards. lmao? what the fuck is gonna happen in barbieland if god is not in her heaven... whatever. just like in preacher when god goes missing (yes i watched part of the preacher amc series with my mother). i feel like the "barbie is a god, she is every barbie and every barbie is her" would have been the explicit focus of MY barbie movie (what can i say, i love a good story about a god becoming human, it's the christianity i've been steeped in) but they kind of don't do much with it
actually ruth handler = god, barbie = jesus?
ken becomes a ... men's (ken's) rights activist. lmao?
anyone else think the car chase was filmed like a car commercial. like weirdly obviously so? i feel like product placement has come farther than this
they want people to say it's a gay or trans allegory sooooo bad between the birkenstocks and the "you don't get permission, it's something you discover about yourself" they want it sooooo bad ok you win i'm saying it. but i know you wanted me to say it. you won fuck off!!!!!! or maybe i'm reaching because it's easy to read the emotional journey of coming out to yourself in a general coming of age tale. but come on. i'm not that smart so if i'm picking up on someone wanting me to think something, they probably do. the only way this movie could have been gay would have been if the weird barbies led a new society.
so was this their way of saying they're debuting a line of kens with jobs...?
i liked the comedy of 2001 monolith barbie and the barbieland physical comedy stuff. maybe i should have rolled my eyes but i'm easy. rollerblading executives also killed
i liked the little twist that barbie's crisis was precipitated by being played with, not by a maturing child, but her mother. kind of in line with how the movie itself is an ad for the barbie brand for adults. there's quite a few moments that i thought had to be intentional references to the function of the movie itself in the real world, and they all felt weird and bad, like someone screaming "let me out!!!!!" i've forgotten a lot of them now because i'm adding this bit in an edit the next day.
*guy who has only seen south park voice* getting a lot of imaginationland vibes from this
i kind of expected for there to be like a joke about allan being in unrequited love with ken but i now think there probably was in an earlier draft and it didn't mesh with the final product and they had to nix it. or like surely someone floated it at least
you know they tried to save it from being too much about ken by having someone literally say "what about barbie's ending?" and then doing barbie's ending but...it was still kind of more about ken i think. he did a dance number for christ's sake. i almost forgot that barbie got to dance too, but barbie's dance was also mostly about ken wanting her to notice him. "he's just ken" "kenergy" "i am kenough" come on. i think the biggest laugh in the theater was actually the kenough hoodie. biggest laugh for me personally? sasha saying, (and i'm paraphrasing of course bc i'm not bothering to look it up) "are you two shining?"
i got SO close to killing the mood when we walked out by saying "hey lets google mattel factory working conditions right now" but i decided that was too far / probably in poor taste for me to flippantly use in post-movie discussion
the feminism 101 stuff was whatever. it made sense within the setting of the movie since america ferrera as a human had to introduce ideas into barbieland for them to take hold, and ideas just kind of manifest whatever happens in barbieland, but i'm very surprised they didn't do a joke like "gee i wish it was this easy in the real world" like how did they miss that opportunity, it would have worked. or maybe they did and i missed it because i had my hater goggles on
sooo velveteen rabbit?
all in all, as a member of the moviegoing public, i guess i got what i wanted. an experience that left me with something to think and talk about.
p.s. this was, for me personally, an ad for ryan gosling. i didn't find him interesting until now. they really got me there.
p.p.s. obviously any criticism i have of the like existence of the barbie movie is hypocritical because i haven't said it about gundam (yet)

Gonna log my reactions and choices for my first run-through of Epic Road Trip here
Okay, yes, I do think going to a performing arts school instead of a real school is an unwise decision, especially if you're not entirely sure that you want a career in the performing arts. But, I like Brooklyn more than Ken, so I'm undoubtedly gonna be picking stuff that leads to New York
Okay, I know what I just said, but I'm picking dreams over destiny bc that feels more in line with Barbie (both Barbies, it feels a little ooc to have Brooklyn lobbying for destiny)
Oh, Skipper, baby, you shouldn't be trying to work when you're this young- especially since you're rich and don't have to- but I'm glad you have dreams
I'm assuming aliens is a possible ending
Express route, we're supporting Brooklyn's dreams and careers over Ken's sight seeing
Skipper's GPS. Hopefully faster and I want Skipper to feel helpful
Barbie, no offense to your mom, but I do not trust her to program a self driving car, especially in a rural area, considering how self driving cars really work
Keep driving, again, Ken can sight see whenever
Dancing, both bc we already know Magnifico from It Takes Two and bc Skipper wants to and I love her
Oh, my god, the DJ's back
Play it cool, Brooklyn and Skipper are right
Pancakes, this poor waitress
Brooklyn, I know you want to save time, but we need to support Skipper's dreams too
Holy shit, Vegas to Chicago is a big jump
Popcorn. No real reason
This very serious woman being a reused character model of Epiphany is very funny
Ken, you know the reason people love Erica and Dominic so much is because he was willing to put their romance on hold for her to follow her dreams, right? Long song
? Their act is called The Barbies
I am gonna repeat this choice tho just to see what the other song is
Oh, that was very bad, there's no point in doing the short song, I've gone back to the "long" one
Malibu looks so sad that he didn't come watch her perform though :(
Oh, he did come! Just late and missed the performance
Oh my god, all that bullshit with Otto Phoenix and they get a record deal just like that?
Oh, that's an ending. Okay. Going back and playing out the short song anyway
The power of letting me choose whether or not to make karbie canon! I'm choosing taking it slow just to see what happens
Is that Poppy Rheardon in New York?
Subway
Ha! You don't even get an ending this way it just makes you go back and run for it
Is Flip the Script the only song in this movie? It doesn't even sound like the girls
This ending doesn't have a jump back to the last decision, so that's where I'm ending it tonight. I assume the canon ending is gonna be Malibu staying in New York but having long distance with Ken. To my knowledge, this isn't the end of the vloggerverse, so it is odd that they have such varied endings as moving to London, when that's undoubtedly going to be contradicted
I hope it's not the end of the vloggerverse anyway. I love this version of Barbie and Brooklyn is my favorite thing that's happened to Barbie in years

Hey! Irl sailor here, LOVE your pirate HCs! Just have a few cool things I thought you might be interested in adding if you want me adding fuel to your pirate obsession lol.
Another really cool crew position that's important in racing (or just when you're against the clock bc tides!!) you might want to assign someone is the sail trimmer. Their entire job is just to make sure the sails are the best shape possible for maximum speed. It's super involved, on average (in my experience!) about 10-15 different ropes will affect a single sail and if you pull one an inch it'll affect all the others so it's a job for someone who has a real eye for detail and fine tuning, also for delegating if you're on a large vessel. Plus, you can never let up for a moment because the wind is constantly shifting!
Another cool thing is the navigator tends to stay below decks and pass instructions to the skipper, tbh these days everyone has digital charts so this is less of a thing but traditionally the navigation table is below decks and every crew has a designated navigator en route. This is different from passage planning which the skipper/captain is absolutely involved in, but for the most part the navigator then passes instructions/headings to the skipper and they steer accordingly. Just another underrated but super important job that sometimes people forget about, in my knowledge it's the sort of thing that would be shared at least partially with 1st/2and mate at any given time but every crew will have a navigator.
Also, we actually can and do sail by the stars at night!
Big hugs! Xoxo
0O0
Bro you just amped up my love for pirates by 10 fold and you should have never done that!!!!! I know have more knowledge!
Using that knowledge, I see Amanda as the sail trimmer. Something about her makes me think she is one of the most detail oriented people in that pack. So she would really good at that job. (Also she gets to work with Christen-)
Thank you for giving me this I will now just day dream about this.
But really thank you again. Now you are obligated (if you want to it's totally your choice) to talk pirate and sailing with me.
Side note: I can imagine David/Asher/Milo teaching their mates how to sail using the stars at night. And it ends up as them star gazing and listing off stars they know. Hagdhakkakab
Hugs all the hugs you need all the hugs from me!

(1/3) I’m just curious, and I’m not trying to come off as combative, but how many main characters would you want for Dreamhouse Adventures? I don’t think what Mattel is doing is “tokenism” but more so if you have a ton of main characters you can’t evenly distribute the screentime. Rn you have Barbie, Ken, Daisy, Renee, Nikki, Teresa as the main group of friends; then her family, Skipper, Chelsea, Stacie, George & Margaret. Then the necessary villains Trey, Poppy, Whittaker, Tammy, Ned & Ted.
(2/3) not to mention there’s also Harriet who is a recurring friend character who is in charge of the stables. That’s a LOT of characters for a TV show to be able to give everyone screentime at all! Let alone have everyone have even amounts of screentime (which Mattel doesn’t always do a great job on) but with the dolls they can make as many as they want and kids can see themselves as a doll more now than they EVER could before. Also there’s multiple POC characters!
(3/3) Nikki, Teresa, & Renee are in pretty much every episode and Ned & Ted are guaranteed to be in any episodes focusing on Trey! So I don’t think it’s truly fair to say Mattel is doing “tokenism” when they have a lot of POC on the show as well as a lot of diversity in their doll lines. That’s a lot more than any doll / children’s animation tv creators are doing at the moment
I’m going to answer this and then frankly, I never want to talk about DA again, ever. I am not joking or speaking hyperbolically, I genuinely don’t want to keep talking about this show when I have nothing nice to say about it. There’s no fucking point.
Anyway, I have said it before many times, but it wouldn’t feel like tokenism if any of the characters of color felt real and fleshed-out. And they don’t. None of the characters on DA do. I can’t stress this enough. Barbie’s friends wouldn’t feel like tokens and props if we, like, saw their families and they had lives and plots that didn’t revolve exclusively around Barbie. And not even just her friends, bc point of fact, it took 41 episodes for Ned and Ted to be named. Literally for 41 episodes they were just a white boy’s nameless buddies, and granted they weren’t in all of those episodes, but they existed for THAT long before they got first names. That’s literally, what, 2 full years of the show? That’s unacceptable to me, and I’ve been saying that for a long time now. They don’t treat their characters of color well, they don’t write them any storylines with depth--they don’t write anything with depth for that show, but their characters of color feel especially flat.
Also, Daisy exists. Daisy fucking exists. Barbie has a white girl in her friend group... why, exactly? If they’re pushing diversity now? What’s the point in Daisy being white? So Barbie has 1 Black friend, 1 Mexican friend, 1 Chinese friend, and all her bases are covered? She doesn’t need, idk, any Indian friends? Vietnamese? Or what about Colombians? Brazilians? Haitians? What about Native Americans? Literally anybody else of color could have filled Daisy’s spot, but they felt comfortable enough with their tokens to put a white girl in her squad. They did. They erased Harper from the vlogs and put in Daisy instead, and I’m supposed to just think it’s not tokenism to have 3 girls of color in as props in Barbie’s story? When Daisy’s there and symbolic of everything wrong with the show? I refuse to accept that! I’ve stated it many times! They can talk all they want about diversity, they can put out all the hordes of nameless fashionista dolls they want, but they are not reflecting ANY of that in their media. They’re not! And I’m going to call them on it, I’m not going to be satisfied when they’re literally not even doing the bare minimum. All the characters do is exist, they don’t do anything interesting, they don’t have interesting personalities, they just exist to make Barbie look hashtag woke and I’m SICK of it.

ok ive been wanting to do an OC redraw/redesign for a while now and uh, well here it is !!! top is obv the revamp and bottom is these three’s original designs ,,, the bottom pic is 9 years old (holy smokes) so i made them during my middle school emo/scene phase when i was like 12 so thats why they're.........Like That lmao but left to right in both pics is jude, elliot, and skipper!!! this was? so fun honestly
ummm lots of info/backstory about them under the cut lol
so in the original pic/designs… if I remember correctly jude and skipper were in police academy training to be cops and elliot was some punk ass kid theyd end up seeing around a lot cause he was in and out of holding for Delinquent Things, and ofc they magically became friends. Im pretty sure they were all 16/17 when I first made them which makes no sense at all (teen cops??? Ok) but like when ur 12, teenagers are Practically Adults BUT none of that is Canon TM anymore. In their redesign they range from early to late 20’s; I usually peg jude around 26-27, elliot is probably 23-24, and skipper is 21.
jude was the very first oc I ever made so shes always had a special place in my heart… I started churning out rapid fire ocs when I was in middle school that id toss when I was bored with em but shes the one that always stuck around!! Shes been a big honkin lesbian ever since her conception, so id use her a lot to express BabyGay feelings I didn’t really know how else to process. design wise I kinda just simplified her look; I have no fucking clue why she used to have an eyepatch and cat ears (I mean, I do, its because I was a weeb) but I got rid of those along with the scene hair and gave her longer hair with more natural waves and some freckles from spending a lot of time in the sun. her gray eyes and hair were always kind of her signature, so those got to stay! She mostly just wears anything that’s easy enough to move around and get work done in; tank tops, loose long skirts, etc. think futch hippy. anyways jude is now just a simple plant witch who uses her skills and connection with the elements to run a modest local farm, and even though shes fairly content in her lifestyle, she wants nothing more than a gf/wife that she can work hard to give a good life to :3c shes a hopeless romantic and has a bad habit of falling a little bit in love with every woman she meets, but shes mad shy when it comes to flirting, so more often than not shes just a sweaty ball of pining and infatuation. Whenever shes feeling some type of way about a girl she either obsessively takes on projects around the farm or house to distract herself or rants to her plants about how shes too afraid to express her feelings. RIP useless lesbian jude. Anyway shes the oldest of the trio, so shes very protective of elliot and skipper in a mother hen kind of way. She gets embarrassed when she realizes shes lecturing them like a cranky old maid, but they secretly don’t really mind it and often come to her for general life advice. I think her sign would be Taurus :3c (and probably an air moon since she’s kind of a space cadet)
elliot was REALLY FUN to redesign bc I honestly just wanted him to look like one of those people who had a HUGE scene phase way back when and just… never completely grew out of it lmao so I gave him the two-tone mullet he deserves, grown out roots hes definitely not gonna bother to re-bleach and re-dye, and piercing scars under his lip from where he used to have some tacky ass snakebites that he probably had to take out to get a job or something lol. he couldn’t completely give up piercings though, so the labret and gauges got to stay. Dudes not COMPLETELY stuck in 2007, but he does still enjoy a lot of the OG emo/punk bands and the fantasy of making it big in his own band and touring the country in a fashionably clunky van. He doesn’t exactly have a band, but hes working on that. Hes halfway decent on vocals and a guitar so he spends a lot of time combing through the local college town he lives and works in in hopes of finding some people who’d wanna play some gigs with him. But in the mean time, he works as a barista in a local café, which usually hooks him up by letting him do some acoustic sets at night every now and again. Hes a very warm and upbeat person, and will happily engage and talk the ear off of anyone close enough for him to do so, stranger or otherwise. He also regularly reminds jude and skipper how much he loves both of them and how glad he is that theyre all friends; He doesn’t really have much in the way of embarrassment or apprehension when it comes to what hes feeling. Hes the official unofficial “plan-maker” of the friend group and is able to bring them all together for quality time, because hes not at all passive like jude or skipper, and… usually has the most free time out of all of them lol. elliot is pure Leo and that’s about all there is to that
And finally, congratulations to skipper, who against all odds, looked normal enough that I didn’t really have to change anything at all about his design! Just had to ditch the uniform for your typical Tired Gay mustard sweaters. Skipper is an English major in his sophomore year of college who, like most people in their 20’s in liberal arts programs, is desperately trying to figure out what he wants out of life and also doesn’t know what sleeping or self-care is. He really enjoys writing, but doesn’t really know if he wants to do it for a living or if he even could. He grew up with pretty cold and distant parents, so on top of knowing they don’t really approve of his major, he pretty much always operates under the assumption that if hes not working himself to death hes not justifying the space hes taking up or the air hes breathing. Emotionally speaking hes more emo than elliot will ever be and his blood is probably 75% caffeine. He having kind of a rough time tbh but hes gritting it out in hopes that things become more clear eventually. He’d be way worse off if he didn’t have jude or elliot, who hes more thankful for than he can ever bring himself to express. They were essentially his first real, close friends, and despite skipper being incapable of asking for help, they always seem to know when he needs someone to talk to or even just a brief distraction; Jude has an open door policy for her farm and will let him come over and cuddle some rabbits or sit and talk over tea on her porch whenever he needs to, and elliot cant remember the last time hes made skipper pay for anything he ordered from the café, or the last time he even had to ask skipper what he wanted. Because hes the youngest of the three its sometimes their instinct to protect him, which embarrasses skipper out of his mind, but he knows they mean well. Hes the physical embodiment of Just Doing His Best and is a stone cold Capricorn
They’re still besties but basically met just from living in the same town; jude and elliot met when jude started providing the café’s local roast from the coffee beans she grew on her farm so elliot saw her fairly regularly and of course was like Oh Friend? Jude always liked how forthcoming elliot was as it complimented her generally reserved nature, and elliot always thought living on a farm and growing your own food was pretty punk rock and therefore pretty dang cool in his book. They both got to know skipper because he came to the café every. single. day. to ingest ungodly amounts of espresso and study all day, and when elliot took an interest in skipper, jude suggested he invite him to one of his gigs since the poor guy kinda looked like he needed a break. Skipper initially kind of politely shot elliot down, but jude took a chance and found skipper later to tell him how much itd mean to elliot, and that if it made him feel better she’d go with him, since going to events like this was different for her too. skipper apprehensively agreed at that point, and the rest is history !!! they all kinda hit it off after that

‘less weird hairs,’ pics of me, real life questions, seasons thoughts, kpop stuff, ‘are you a boy’ erhdfnv, tutorial questions, edits, ‘safe’ cc, and umm yeah never go camping in the actual woods ok
Anonymous said: Can you do Less weird hair? I Like how good Mesh You make but all styles look Really Weird I never Would use them. I just want Usual hair? Thanks you
Firstly, thank you for the meshing compliment, but tbh I think I make pretty simple hair styles? Like I don’t do many crazy things especially recently? Idk, I hope you like some of my hairs and can find something that fits in your liking :/
Anonymous said: Hi I really love you content and I was wondering if you’d ever do a “goddess locs” hairstyle?
Ok I am gonna be super straight forward about this, making hairstyles like this is really challenging for me. I have tried a ton of times and I just can’t get the meshes to work out the way I like. UV mapping is a pain in the ass, making the hairline match well, and making sure none of the mesh strands are broken is next to impossible for me. Most creators that make hairstyles like this do them from scratch or spend a long time working on them for them to look right. I’m not saying ‘no’ because I am going to try to play around with some seasons meshes (I have hair ideas) but no promises :(
Anonymous said: BLACKPINK COMEBACK
i know omg jennie snapped, I wasn’t planning on buying the physical album but I ended up caving in and getting the pink versions ;-; I hope I get Jennie or Lisa photocards
Anonymous said: i know your theme is by gukthemes, but what is it called?
PAPILLON by GUKTHEMES
Anonymous said: Are you ever gonna do a face reveal?
I have posted a pic of myself before in one of these ask posts, here are three more from the past few months :P

Anonymous said: Fav kpop group(s)???
1). LOONA (bias Kim Lip) 2). BLACKPINK (bias Jennie) 3). RED VELVET (bias Joy) 4). CLC (bias Yeeun) 5). DREAMCATCHER (idk their names but the rapper)
Anonymous said: You play pokemon go still?
Yes! I collected cards/figures growing up and watched the show before school every morning. I’m not a ‘game’ fan but the mobile app is fun. Actually I played the Wii U Pokemon tournament game but it was boring so :/
Anonymous said: are you going to buy seasons? do you think it is worth it?
I got it from CDkeys for $25 lmao, so yes :P I can’t run the live mode so I kind of am just getting it for the new CAS assets :/ but I think the pack looks really good. Everyone always says ‘it looks like the best EP so far’ every time something new comes out so I’m not gonna say that but we will see :D
Anonymous said: whats ur skin blend called?
Fruitpunch! You can get it here
Anonymous said: when are you going to be done camping?
I am back home now lmao I assume you sent this when I posted about not having service there :P but I was camping for 3 days? I know it was 2 nights at least refdbv also omg some camping stories:
► I didn’t have my voice for the entire trip bc I got sick with laryngitis, and now koby (the guy i shared a tent with) has it too erfdbvc
► It was blazing hot like omg I was dying, there werent showers, bathrooms, anything with AC. The tents were boiling hot, the ground fucking hurt, and it was just hell ok this isnt even a story I just need to complain.
► There was a racoon family outside the tents the first night, and we thought it was a bear bc we were literally in the middle of the woods, like it wasn’t a campsite with other people, it was the forest ;-; anyways we were legit so freaked out and up for 2 hours just listening to them walk around the tents and god it was so scary rfbdv
► As I said, I had no service so I missed the larvitar community day in pokemon go -_-
► I suck at cornhole so I was the cheer leader for a team UwU
► A deer jumped out right in front of the fucking car like RIGHT IN FRONT OF IT omg we were so close to hitting it like... it was fucking scary
► We went walking on a trail that was down a mountain and once we got down we discovered that the chairlift up was CLOSED so we had to walk back up and it was a nightmare bc we had all just drove like 30 minutes to shower in crappy no pressure no heat showers and we were all sweaty again by the time we got back to the top ;-;
dont go camping
Anonymous said: Your last edit creeps me out.
LMAO why? It isnt meant to be sexual or scary?
@achinghearts88 said: I really love Sims 4 cc but I constantly struggle with finding safe sites and have accidentally downloaded a virus trying to get cc before so I'm kinda frightened now. What advice do you have for getting safe cc? Thanks!
Hello! I use an adfly skipper + adblock, and if both of those don’t work then I just don’t download the cc. For some creators (nolan-sims, simduction, isjao, ivo-sims, and others) I will turn them off because I know these creators aren’t ones that use the sketchy adfly stuff, but for others that I don’t know well I leave it on. I use: U Block origin and adfly skipper (both on firefox)
Anonymous said: I couldn't find a "contact me" thing but your AHarris00Britney has a broken mesh I think.
??? idk what this means im sorry ;-; what hair are you referring to?
Anonymous said: an amazing creator and a loona fan???? i stan
My mind... your mind... our mind..
@chocooosims said: hey, I love your cc, you are such a good creator! :) I'm not sure if someone already ask you that, but have you ever considered making a tutorial where you show us how you create maxis match hair? I mean, I know that I can already find on Internet  tutorials about frankenmeshing hair. But the thing is that you are one of the only creator who do more than simply merge 2 EA's hair together. So, I would really love to see a tutorial of how you are creating your cc! :) Thx for your time!!
I am making a BIG tutorial right now of me making a hair from start-finish and it is around 3 hours not speed up. My guardian angel is going to edit it for me tonight and then I will try to have it posted next week sometime
Anonymous said: what university are you going to?
Radford :D it is in Virginia
Anonymous said: Just wanted to let you know you're a king
thank you lmao I wish it were true, stan loona or be beheaded
Anonymous said: r u a guy or girl or non binary etc. also are you lgbtq+ at all? not to judge, just wondering :)
uuh, I’m a gay guy lmao idk about all the other terms like cis/bianary ;-; i like the anatomy exclusive to the male body
edit: rip so someone messaged me asking what I meant by “anatomy exclusive to the male body” and I was like ?? bc I meant i like d**k, and i explained that i didn't like using cuss words on my blog bc my account got shut down/deleted/reported last year and was completely gone for two days while I emailed my butt off to get it back. Also, I was trying to be funny by sounding proper and using big terms like anatomy/exclusive instead of just saying “i like penis” bc that just isnt as fun to say imo. My anatomy teacher never used words like v*gina/p*nis and would say stuff like that, and I always found it funny and I guess that was another reason I worded it that way. Anyways if you think I was being transphobic, I apologize. I hope you don’t think that I am transphobic bc of that? If you want to message me and talk to me about how I can word stuff better then I am around 24/7 mostly, but I’m not going to fight with anyone who is just looking to argue because that is childish. I am sorry to those that got offended but I got one message about this so if something like this happens, message me like this person and ask what I meant so that it isn’t blown out of proportion. Again, I did not think that it would be taken that way and I am sorry if you felt that I was making fun of a trans person. <3
Anonymous said: What do you see in the corner of your room when you get sleep paralysis  (;
James Charles with breasts on the beach and im not sharing this photo anymore it is demonic OK
Anonymous said: hi! i installed your non-default eye recolors but i'm having a glitch with them. my female sims lose their face in cas and it's just like an empty spot where the face should be. i have the default eyes installed too so i know it's not an issue with a missing mesh but i'm not sure how to fix it.
Hello!! I don’t think this is my eyes because I’m not experiencing this glitch? Did you run a S4S batch fix over everything? I think that causes this glitch sometimes but I am unsure. Try repairing your game and if you have the “no EA eyelash” mod then redownload that and replace the old file.
@sephirajo said: I found your sims 4 mods and I love the hairs! They're so amazing and pretty.
thank you so much!
Anonymous said: In your collab with wildpixel, I F**KING love the Ivy hair; do you have any recolours of it or any of the other hairs in the collab?
all the hairs in that pack are recolored in the anathema and sacharinne palette :) and I reblog all recolors of my cc over on @aharris00britneyrecolors

So in your opinion why would someone who is part of a fauxmance go visit someone in a random part of NC or go to a family wedding? Why would that be part of the PR contract if there is nothing to gain from those visits? Also why would he defend her in the comment section of her insta I’m honestly just curious. I don’t like her either bc I think she’s a fame whore but I’m starting to wonder if the easiest thing to do is just believe what is being presented as true not everything is a conspiracy.
First let me clarify that when I mention going with the flow as to what we are presented with I’m only referring to the Maestro narrative and the engagement. Skipper, there’s no way in hell I can believe any of that was ever real. Ever. So with that out of the way, the anwers to all your questions would be the same, the contract must have stated a number of “public” appearances together gig style ot make it all more believable. The problem is when you have to leak those appearances and you leak them all to the same troll you automatically lose any credibility. Same goes for the public defending (and it took him long enough didn’t it), what boyfriend would say nothing, if you are playing that role there’s a minimum standards you gotta meet (notice how S didn’t get far from those standards).

6, 9, 22, 28 for the music asks pls!!! (◍•ᴗ•◍)
ty for the ask!! sorry it took forever to answer, #9 got me stuck
6. your current “on repeat” song
ohh man lately i’ve been listening to phoebe bridgers’ ‘punisher’ album on repeat and ‘i know the end’ is my fav and on repeat! not just bc of the fiveya vibes but the intro/outro give me two very distinct feelings and i go wild over it
9. a song that captures your aesthetic (can be ideal!)
actually i have no idea what is meant by ‘aesthetic’ like my personal style in the way i dress or something that represents me?? well i’ll try to answer it best i can. (i thought about it all day LOL) my aesthetic is probably like the sunset at the beach were everything is a warm orange glow and the air is still warm and your feet are in the water and everything smells salty and crisp and the sky is bleeding purple into the night and you are completely content. a song that captures that feeling... maybe st lucia’s ‘closer than this’! bc it’s upbeat but also in a chill way?? idk
22. a song you related to in the past and present, but for different reasons
mmm regina spektor’s ‘two birds.’ my last serious relationship, i was super depressed (not bc of the relationship specifically but because of multiple things that happened while we were together) and my ex was kind but definitely enabled my depression self-loathing and inability to do things. he empathized but almost too much bc i clearly needed help but he couldn’t give it to me. while i was depressed i definitely related to the bird in the lyric that says he’s going to fly but lies about it and nowadays i don’t feel the same. i see it as how two similar people can hold each other back bc of the desire to stay together (whether romantically or platonically) and sometimes you just need to let go. sorry that was unexpectedly heavy oops.
28. a song you always skipped, but ended up loving once you listened to it
ohhhh man in high school i was a CHRONIC song skipper, i only wanted to listen to the few songs off the album that i knew were good and had no real desire to listen to anything else. so this can apply to a lot of songs tbh. but i distinctly remember always skipping ‘jackie and wilson’ on hozier’s first album bc i didn’t really care for the way the song started. but once i gave it a chance, i found it was very good!

Travel Pre And Post Internet
Travelling Pre Internet:
I've been travelling for over 40 years - simply by thumb in my early days, by boots in the Scouts, any Lambretta came next and then my first old banger followed by newer old bangers to the beaches of the Acantilado Brava.
Tumblr media
My thumb, boots, bikes and bangers procured me all over Europe and the UK before finding that some sort of charter flight to Spain on an old 'Connie' gets me to the beaches and bars a lot quicker and allow longer to enjoy the local travel opportunities by horse and carry and the occasional bus and train.
'Go West together with Prosper' seemed to be a good idea so instead of taking an 8 an hour flight I took an 8 day transatlantic traversing from Tilbury to Montreal on the Stephan Batory involving Polish Ocean Lines ensuring that jet lag did not problem my travel plans. Some years later I entered the pond again on a ship but this time it was five times bigger and I travelled in style on the QE2 and dined in the Queen's Grill somewhat removed from my earlier practical knowledge. I highly recommend ocean voyages but cannot see me on one of the modern cruise ships going from port to be able to port with constant line-ups to get on and off to buy tonneaus. However , I have done 10 Windjammers and a Star Dog clipper cruise in the Caribbean which were all memorable (let's intend Windjammer Barefoot Cruises recover from their woes). But I just digress. I had read that Canada is a spectacular united states, from sea to shining sea, and my appearance into the St. Lawrence River to Montreal and then really going west in an old Econoline van from the Great Lakes, ponds, across the Prairies to the Rocky Mountains before ending up whale watching off of the Pacific Coast of Vancouver Island was obviously a trip of wonder to a bloke from London. Now the scenery is still spectacular and the best way to go continues to by road so rent or buy a car, mobile home or motorbike, take the train or tour bus keep in mind the maps, a fly rod, good boots and hurry. My favorite part of Canada / USA for adventure vacation has to be Northern BC / Alaska, to hike the very Chilkoot Trail in the steps of the goldseekers of 1898. The Northwest Territories to canoe the Nahannie Lake and the Yukon to drive from Dawson City to Fowl, Alaska. If you like the outdoors and can put up with a few bugs, team a fly and scale a few hills or get on endless dirt roads sharing the space with moose, caribou, elk, bears and eagles, then these are the main places to put on your list. The pleasures and goes through in driving to Inuvik on the Dempster Highway or even to Prudhoe Bay on the Dalton Highway or even the Canol Roads can only be felt by doing them. I would have brought up the Alaska Highway but now it is an easy drive compared with the aforementioned. Today the costs of driving these distances may perhaps mean that sharing the journey with others is required, yet RVing or simply vanning and camping is a great way to discover beyond the horizon. Some enroute adventures now has to be booked in advance whereas when I hiked Denali and the Chilkoot Pass it was just a case of turning up, registering along with the local ranger office and heading on out. Even more00 planning is needed for today's traveller and cost issues to consider of lengthy flights or drives have to somehow often be countered with more careful planning. In the days of reasonable petrol prices I would not even consider the driving or flying expenditures and have driven to Key West from the northwest shore, down the west coast to the Baja and to the actual west coast from New York. I once even travelled my 1946 Fleet taildragger from the Pacific to the Ocean and back using around 5 gallons an hour connected with avgas. Before the oil and credit crisis I had from Rio de Janeiro to Lima, down to Tierra del Ignición and back to Rio covering over 15, 000 distance of spectacular scenery and with no consideration about the expense of gas. South America should be on your itinerary too! Some other terrific drives that may now require a mortgage with the gas providers include London to The Nordkapp, Norway, Skippers Canyon around New Zealand and the loneliness of the far north with Australia and the amazing coast of Western Australia visiting at Monkey Mia and Wave Rock. We tend to fail to remember that the real cost of travelling is often less today as compared with over the 40 years of my travels. In 1977 my favorite round-trip airfare from Canada to Australia cost in excess of $1700 in 1977 dollars so today it is much less to fly, even with the airlines gouging for power, extra baggage, no service and no pleasure. The 'Big Mac' method of price comparison as developed by The Economist papers gives us a good gauge for most expenditures of today as compared to yesterday but my $1500 cost to get a private aircraft pilots licence in the 1970's seems cheap by comparison to now, but obviously not when using this Big Mac standard. Other travel costs are also far cheaper today but this absolutely should not mean that travellers should disregard the many methods of protecting costs that can then be put to extended or better travel experiences
Travel Post-Internet:
In my 40 years of take a trip I have had to use travel agents to make even the simplest for reservations and buy tickets, not even thinking to ask them if they happen to have "been there, done that? " It was just a instance of there being no other options to buying travel. Now we have indefinite choices and can seek out better travel agents, better prices, significantly better selections and information about anywhere in the world for our travels - without leaving home.
The Internet now gives travellers ideas and selection of Where to go, When to go, Why to go, What to do, Who for you to book with and How to save money and offset costs. We will search and find experts for every travel option. If we are usually comfortable with the Internet we no longer have to go to a travel agent in making reservations and buy tickets except to book with some of your larger travel companies that still produce glossy flyers and offer all inclusive packages or tours that only sell in the agency system. The Internet also allows those of us who are brilliant enough to know when to seek out a top travel agent with experience, experience and expertise (KEE skills) of destinations as well as activities about where to find them. There is no longer any really need to only use our local agents when we can find a person somewhere else in the world. When we do not need 'the knowledge' and can practice it ourselves we simply surf the web so that we can book immediately with tour and travel operators wherever we have went.
Some travel agents operate their own tours, some are both below wholesale and retail, some limit consumer selection by exclusively selling their 'preferred' suppliers and some have professional brokers with years of experience invested in gaining knowledge, experience and also expertise and are worth their weight in gold to the savvy traveller. Beware while, as some are also called destination specialists and some of these designations merely require the agent to take a rudimentary examine offered by tourism offices, destination marketing groups or even visit operators and in my opinion can harm the reputation of the travelling industry. A specialist is not necessarily an expert.
Travel is probably the a lot of used commercial aspect of the Internet and if retail agents prefer to harness this exciting medium to offer 'the knowledge' and the 'kee' skills to a global audience, not just their people, they must embrace the changes that are happening. Travellers now have the capacity to seek answers to the 5 W's of travel as well as important
'How to' save money
and offset costs injury lawyer toronto information just a click away.
And then it occurred to me that also internet travel prices often include a commission element regardless of whether sold directly to the consumer. If we book directly with workers we should not have to pay full retail prices as we are generally doing for ourselves what a retail agent would ordinarily do for us. A dilemma for the operator is that to indicate a both a retail and a cost price method could deter many agents from selling the services like travellers could use an agent for free advice and book instantly with the operator to get a 'net of commission' price. Of course this two tier pricing is not often available nevertheless travellers who do not need advice should also not be penalized by simply retail pricing. A new way had to be found and I think I have found them!
The need for
Deals Points
is why I developed the superior Travel Voucher program at The Top Travel Club and I possibly found a dot com for it. All travel solutions on the site are at 'net of commission' prices for users who handle there own travel arrangements directly with the travel operators linked on the club website using our voucher method.I am inviting travel operators from around the world to join the program, from B&B's, Motels, Hotels, Luxury Lodges, Eco Destinations, Beach Resorts and Tour and Adventure Operators who wish to promote their products and services to travellers who are at ease direct bookings and reservations.I am also inviting Travel companies with knowledge, experience and expertise of destinations along with activities to showcase their skills to a global crowd of travellers and to the members of this new go club. I am leery of 'specialist agents' and only really want experts to showcase their services. This opportunity can be found to the travel trade at no cost except for them to offer world-wide-web, wholesale or outlet prices to club members in addition to visitors to the website using top travel vouchers. I believe this method offers fairer fare prices to direct-booking travellers. The exact operator would normally be paying commission anyway now travellers get the savings because they make their own arrangements.

Currently, you can get savings on accommodations, adventure travel, boat charters, culinary tours, hike, bike and dive tours, auto and RV rentals fishing lodges and guides, safaris, vacation rentals, single travel, women only and dude ranches. Members get the vouchers free of charge by paying an annual membership fee and non-members can buy the vouchers on the internet at Top Travel Sites at deeply discounted prices to the face-value. The way I have traveled and the way I see travel is that consumers should have unlimited access to every travel opportunity with the ability to do their own due diligence or to find a professional who can offer quality advice and services at fair prices, and to find all of this without needing endless hours of searching.

TLB thoughts/liveblog condensed in one post bc I didn’t want to spam and more importantly I didn’t feel like typing out all my tags multiple times
how is this cruise for Margaret’s job and not George’s? doesn’t she literally work in an office?
so the cruise is not specifically for her birthday, it just happens to line up with her birthday... that mitigates some of my earlier complaints but also, again, how does this connect to Margaret’s job
literally any time George and Margaret try to parent the girls I just fucking laugh. if you cared that much about your kids you wouldn’t let them, idk, take cross-country trips without you. just a thought.
they changed Margaret’s eye color??? this far into the show? I’m gonna scream
“teens and tweens only, no single digit ages” so does that exclude Stacie too or nah? LITERALLY WHEN ARE WE GONNA LEARN HER AGE I’M DYING OVER HERE
Arrrlene I love you
how did this activities director even get fucking hired? who did that??? why would you hire that guy for THIS cruise? put him on something for adults or seniors only, don’t put him on a family ship! WHO the fuck does that?????
how did they cross the international date line so soon? it feels way too fucking soon, they’ve only been on the ship for like a day! and where is this cruise even heading? if they crossed the date line, they’re heading west, so... they’re going to Asia? I guess? without stopping? I don’t know much about cruises but a quick google shows at least one cruise going from LA to Japan which takes 22 days, 10 of which are before the dateline. and also there’s a stop in Hawaii before that. so literally what the fuck is happening... they can’t even have a montage showing the passage of time? oh right bc that wouldn’t facilitate these shenanigans and this stupid activities director who wants them off the boat, which again, he should not have been hired for. what is this worldbuilding
I know timezones are confusing as all hell but how is Barbie 17 years old and not knowing about the international date line? or like, idk, why wouldn’t George or Margaret explain it to them? how did NOBODY see this coming, apparently? in the real-life cruise itinerary I linked above, it’s literally laid the fuck out for you so you don’t even have to guess! they did it all for you! AND NO ONE GLANCED AT THAT BEFORE LEAVING?
I’m sad Arrrlene isn’t the captain but I also love the actual captain very much. unless she was the one who hired the fuck up guy in which case I will never forgive her.
LITERALLY HOW DID YOU FUCKING FORGET ABOUT THE INTERNATIONAL DATE LINE, MARGARET? IT SEEMS INCONCEIVABLE TO ME
it is so hard to get into this story when it feels like I have to accept so much bullshit to even get to the part where the story starts
the animation on this parrot is really good, I’ll give them that. it actually looks like a real animal not a stylized monstrosity. the seagulls look pretty good too.
so like... this island isn’t real, right? it’s a journey in her imagination or some kind of dream or something, right?
kinning that vampire dude on the beach
gonna be real and say those spider designs still creep me out, even with how much they toned it down. I just hate spiders so much I’m sorry
showing a scarlet macaw flying around what should by all logic be a pacific island? I have to laugh. less so if it turns out this island is all just some imagined bs but if that’s supposed to be a twist they’re failing at it. (not gonna mention the talking animals bc that’s pure fantasy.)
surprisingly, plumbago is a real genus. itchissorious is made up, tho, naturally. altho to be pedantic, plumbago don’t appear to look like those at all, it looks closer to a type of sunflower which I swear is what Chelsea called the talking one. anyway they should have used helianthus instead. (would be again misplaced wildlife, but literally they don’t care at all so that wouldn’t matter.)
why have Barbie carrying oatmeal and not calamine lotion? if it was about the visual, calamine is literally pink so the splotches would still stand out. stupid.
I already wasn’t vibing with the random tiki shit onboard the ship but “Tiki tyrant” just feels like a yikes.
oh so the oatmeal was for seagull shenanigans? cool. I hate it.
I wish you would eat them, tiger. then this movie would be over and also this continuity and I could live my life in peace again.
after Darbie and Lacie I was wondering what they were going to do with Skipper and... Snipper... sure is a name alright. good imagination, Chelsea.
also, I know this is a total fantasy scenario with a talking purple-striped tiger but having Snipper say she’s a vegetarian feels like it perpetuates the myth that cats can be vegetarians and I hate it. I hate it SO fucking much.
“you remind me of my family,” Chelsea says to her talking animal friends which represent herself and her sisters but weirdly not her parents at all. I guess they’re not her family? cool.
so the island... is fake... like, manufactured fake? excuse me? first the ecological disaster of the cruise itself and now an artificial island? Barbie Sure Loves The Environment
“she’s way too smart to wander off alone on a jungle island” no offense, we all know I love my girl Chelsea, but WHAT in her life makes you think that Skipper adskjsdnfkjdnfgfg
do you think the order in which Chelsea met her animal friends is like her internal ranking of her sisters? obviously she loves Barbie the most so she found Darbie first, but then it was Lacie and then Snipper. I probably could have guessed that Stacie outranked Skipper after the Halloween episode but it’s still funny to think about it that way lmao
the movie’s almost over but I’m still not over these animals’ winged eyeliner. that’s so much even for me.
“little kids can get big things done, if you let them” would be a great message delivered in another movie. in this one it’s nonsensical.
tourists (derogatory)
oh so NOW we get the parents showing up as animals, literally at the last part of this island thing. I see how it is.
“boy do I hate my job” THEN WHY ARE YOU HERE, DUDE... WHO JUST GETS HIRED ON A CRUISE SHIP IF THEY HATE IT SO MUCH
George dancing was like the only part of this movie to make me laugh
as sweet as it is for Arrrlene to adjust the height requirement, those exist for safety reasons... unless that was something the former AD made up.
still no idea why this movie was called “Barbie & Chelsea” when they spent 90% of the movie apart
I’m surprised there’s no moral at the end of the credits? I was expecting it to be “little kids can get big things done, if you let them” (which I still maintain is stupid but anyway)
still confused as to how this cruise ship connects to Margaret’s job... I guess she did some design work on it? or something?
okay so... Chelsea’s adventure was a dream? or was it real (somehow? somewhat?) and she just wished to go home? riddle for the ages I guess
overall I was bored and too caught up in trying to make sense of literally any of the cruise logistics to care about much else. not as enraged as I thought I might be but also not really entertained. shame.

Travel Pre And Post Internet
Travel Pre-Internet:
I’ve been traveling for over 40 years – by thumb in my early days, by boots in the Scouts, a Lambretta came next and then my first old banger followed by newer old bangers to the beaches of the Costa Brava.
My thumb, boots, bikes and bangers took me all over Europe and the UK before finding that a charter flight to Spain on an old ‘Connie’ could get me to the beaches and bars a lot quicker and allow more time to enjoy the local travel opportunities by horse and cart and the occasional bus and train.
‘Go West and Prosper’ seemed to be a good idea so instead of taking an 8-hour flight I took an 8-day transatlantic crossing from Tilbury to Montreal on the Stephan Batory of Polish Ocean Lines ensuring that jet lag did not trouble my travel plans. Some years later I crossed the pond again on a ship but this time it was 5 times bigger and I traveled in style on the QE2 and died in the Queen’s Grill somewhat removed from my earlier experience. I highly recommend ocean voyages but cannot see myself on one of the modern cruise ships going from port to port with constant line-ups to get on and off to buy t-shirts. However, I have done 10 Windjammers and a Star Clipper cruise in the Caribbean which were all memorable (let’s hope Windjammer Barefoot Cruises recover from their woes). But I digress.
I had read that Canada is a spectacular country, from sea to shining sea, and my entrance into the St. Lawrence River to Montreal and then heading west in an old Econoline van from the Great Lakes, across the Prairies to the Rocky Mountains before ending up whale watching off of the Pacific Coast of Vancouver Island was a trip of wonder to a bloke from London. Today the scenery is still spectacular and the best way to go is still by road so rent or buy a car, motorhome or motorbike, take the train or tour bus but remember the maps, a fly rod, good boots and take your time.
My favorite part of Canada / USA for adventure travel has to be Northern BC / Alaska, to hike the Chilkoot Trail in the steps of the gold seekers of 1898. The Northwest Territories to canoe the Nahanni River and the Yukon to drive from Dawson City to Chicken, Alaska. If you like the outdoors and can put up with a few bugs, cast a fly and scale a few hills or drive on endless dirt roads sharing the space with moose, caribou, elk, bears and eagles, then these are the places to put on your list. The pleasures and experiences in driving to Inuvik on the Dempster Highway or to Prudhoe Bay on the Dalton Highway or even the Canol Road can only be felt by doing them. I would have mentioned the Alaska Highway but now it is an easy drive unlike the aforementioned.
Today the costs of driving these distances may mean that sharing the journey with others is required, but RVing or simply vanning and camping is a great way to see beyond the horizon. Some en route adventures now need to be booked in advance whereas when I hiked Denali and the Chilkoot Pass it was just a case of turning up, registering with the local ranger office and heading on out. A little more forward planning is needed for today’s traveler and cost considerations of lengthy flights or drives have to somehow be countered with more careful planning. In the days of reasonable gas prices I would not even consider the driving or flying costs and have driven to Key West from the northwest coast, down the west coast to the Baja and to the west coast from New York. I once even flew my 1946 Fleet taildragger from the Pacific to the Atlantic and back using around 5 gallons an hour of avgas. Before the oil and credit crisis I drove from Rio de Janeiro to Lima, down to Tierra del Fuego and back to Rio covering over 15,000 miles of spectacular scenery and with no consideration of the cost of gas. South America should be on your itinerary too! Some other memorable drives that may now require a mortgage with the gas companies include London to The Nordkapp, Norway, Skippers Canyon in New Zealand and the loneliness of the far north of Australia and the amazing coast of Western Australia stopping by at Monkey Mia and Wave Rock.
We tend to forget that the real cost of traveling is often less today than over the 40 years of my travels. In 1977 my round-trip airfare from Canada to Australia cost over $1700 in 1977 dollars so today it is far cheaper to fly, even with the airlines gouging for fuel, extra baggage, no service and no pleasure. The ‘Big Mac’ method of price comparison as developed by The Economist newspaper gives us a good gauge for most expenditures of today compared to yesterday but my $1500 cost to get a private pilots license in the 1970’s seems cheap by comparison to today, but obviously not when using this Big Mac principle. Other travel costs are also far cheaper today but this should not mean that travelers should disregard the many methods of saving costs that can then be put to extended or improved travel experiences
Travel Post-Internet:
In my 40 years of travel, I have had to use travel agents to make even the simplest of reservations and buy tickets, not even thinking to ask them if they had “been there, done that?” It was just a case of there being no other options to buying travel. Now we have unlimited choices and can seek out better travel agents, better prices, better selections and information about anywhere in the world for our travels – without even leaving home.
The Internet now gives travelers ideas and options of Where to go, When to go, Why to go, What to do, Who to book with and How to save money and offset costs. We can search and find experts for every travel option. If we are comfortable with the Internet we no longer have to go to a travel agent to make reservations and buy tickets except to book with some of the larger travel companies that still produce glossy brochures and offer all inclusive packages or tours that only sell through the agency system. The Internet also allows those of us who are smart enough to know when to seek out a top travel agent with knowledge, experience, and expertise (KEE skills) of destinations and activities about where to find them. There is no longer any need to only use our local agents when we can find one somewhere else in the world. When we do not need ‘the knowledge’ and can do it ourselves we simply surf the web so that we can book directly with tour and travel operators wherever we have decided to go.
Some travel agents operate their own tours, some are both wholesale and retail, some limit consumer selection by only selling their ‘preferred’ suppliers and some have professional consultants with years of experience invested in gaining knowledge, experience, and expertise and are worth their weight in gold to the savvy traveler. Beware though, as some are also called destination specialists and some of these designations merely require the agent to take a rudimentary test offered by tourism offices, destination marketing groups or even tour operators and in my opinion can harm the reputation of the travel industry. A specialist is not necessarily an expert.
Travel is probably the most used commercial aspect of the Internet and if retail agents want to harness this exciting medium to offer ‘the knowledge’ and their ‘key’ skills to a global audience, not just their local community, they must embrace the changes that are happening. Travelers now have the ability to seek answers to the 5 W’s of travel and the important ‘How to’ save money and offset costs by having information just a click away.
And then it occurred to me that even internet travel prices often include a commission element even when sold directly to the consumer. If we book directly with operators we should not have to pay full retail prices as we are doing for ourselves what a retail agent would normally do for us. A dilemma for the operator is that to show a both a retail and a cost price option could deter many agents from selling the services as travelers could use an agent for free advice and book directly with the operator to get a ‘net of commission’ price. Obviously, this two-tier pricing is not often available but travelers who do not need advice should also not be penalized by retail pricing. A new way had to be found and I think I have found it!
The need for fairer fare prices is why I developed the Top Travel Voucher program at The Top Travel Club and I even found a dot com for it. All travel selections on the site are at ‘net of commission’ prices for members who handle there own travel arrangements directly with the operators linked on the club website using our voucher program.
I am inviting travel operators from around the world to join this program, from B&B’s, Motels, Hotels, Luxury Lodges, Eco Resorts, Beach Resorts and Tour and Adventure Operators who want to promote their products and services to travelers who are comfortable with direct bookings and reservations.
I am also inviting Travel Agents with knowledge, experience, and expertise of destinations and activities to showcase their skills to a global audience of travelers and to the members of this new travel club. I am leery of ‘specialist agents’ and only want experts to showcase their services.
This opportunity is available to the travel trade at no cost except for them to offer net, wholesale or outlet prices to club members and visitors to the website using top travel vouchers. I believe this program offers fairer fare prices to direct-booking travelers. The operator would normally be paying commission anyway but now travelers get the savings because they make their own arrangements.
The Top Travel Club opened in mid-April 2008 offering thousands of top travel vouchers for travel in over 70 countries with around 150 travel operators onboard. Every week we add more travel operators with more choices for members. The future growth will include restaurants, travel clothing, travel insurance and the opportunity to access air ticket consolidators who want to deal directly with consumers.
The way I have traveled and the way I see travel is that consumers should have unlimited access to every travel opportunity with the ability to do their own due diligence or to find a professional who can offer quality advice and services at fair prices, and to find all of this without needing endless hours of searching.
