WHEEZING WHATS SO FUNNY IS THAT I HAVE BEEN. STARING AT A WORD DOC ALL DAY TRYING TO <- Girl who is so dead from her job

To start w what the delightful @hitheeprithee said to me earlier that made me. Absolutely fucking insane. But Scar gifting one of his canes to Grian in the post-DL return to HC because he's having trouble with both just walking bc of the aches in his body and the dizzyness caused by the disorientation of being shouted apart. And grian tries, really, to be appreciative, but scar's cane doesnt sit at the right height and he's awkward with it so he just stays in bed and then a few days later Scar sheepishly shows up with a custom made cane for Grian that's the right height and has feathers carved into it and just. hhhh.

But its like. Grian having to learn to rely on others. And I mean this in like the. I am physically disabled and im still learinng. You are always learning how to do this. Every day is a new day for failures and learning in this task. And its grian who doesnt want to get out of bed, who's never felt his body be in such constant misery, not even after third life or last life. He went out - bad. I don't have the brain power to elaborate rn maybe I'll reblog this tomorrow but tldr: I headcanon that the deaths in the life series and way different to deaths on hermitcraft. They're permanently debilitating in some way, but the players keep coming back because they learn to cope, they hold tight to the love for each other that radiates through every time they go through it - anyway. This warden death hurts - and Scar is feeling it too, but not as bad, not as Severely, and furthermore he has coping skills in place already for chronic pains and aches and fatigue. Grian doesn't.

It's Scar showing up and adjusting Grian's pillows to help him sit up, nursing him to health with some food and water, an ice pack, a heating pad, some potions from Cub to help with the pains, to help manage. Its Scar teaching Grian to use a cane, to trust his weight to this inanimate object, to learn to use it as an extension of himself. Helping him learn the walking pattern. It's Scar opening up the bedroom window or whatever the fuck the equivalent is in Grian's base to help get some white noise and teaching Grian to focus on it to make the worst of the ringing go away, to massage the muscles in his head to help with the headaches and migraines.

Scar teaching Grian how to pull his weight up with other people, how to get up from the floor with his back hurts so much he can barely move, to shuffle around the room a little bit just to get the blood flowing in his legs.

And then its like. It's Grian leaning his head against Scar's chest and crying from frustration because his body wont cooperate and he's never had to deal with it before and he doesn't know how. And grian apologizing because he's just complaining about things scar lives with always. And Scar soothing Grian's worries and anxieties becaue he knows why grian's frustrated and its not guaranteed to help but by god he'll try, he'll try so hard to give grian the world back if he can.

but the good thing is that he always repays you back in some way for the simple act of kindness to him of all ppl. you know that meme/phrase where its like “ *character* will remember that ”? yeah, that's stan marsh.

he doesn't automatically register when someone is speaking to him, so you prob will have to repeat yourself multiple times before he realizes that your even there lmao

kyle doesnt expect kindness/flattery to ever be targeted towards him, mainly bc his friends are kinda dicks (AHEM CARTMAN AHEM)

but when he does get this kind of treatment, he's pleasantly surprised. especially when he's at his at most limit (which is pretty frequent), being able to hear that little positive thing said about him will help kyle rest peacefully for the rest of the day.

don't worry though, a genuine nice response will almost always come in exchange. (unless the poor boy is having a really bad day, then he'll prob just act like you simply don't exist)

kyle is very good at nick-picking certain specific quirks, behaviors, and traits of the ppl he adores. like with his baby brother ike, just one little head jerk or hand movement from ike, and kyle will instantly know exactly how his baby brother is feeling.

so, in relation to you complimenting him, he now is, of course, fond of you. (ex. your eyes look a little droopy one day at school? “ hey, (name), i brought some coffee in my bag, you can have some if you want. ”)

𝐘𝐎𝐔'𝐑𝐄 𝐈𝐍 𝐄𝐍𝐆𝐋𝐈𝐒𝐇 and it's kenny's turn to read a section of the excerpt the class is assigned. none of his three best friends have this class with him, so he's practically mute for most of the period. you never hear his voice other than a few “ hey ”s, “ mhm ”s, and “ what ”s, so a tiny part of you is lowkey excited to be able to hear the orange hooded boy speak a full few sentences for the first time. he isn't the fastest reader in the class, and definitely not one of the loudest, but something about his soft tone relaxes you. kenny's voice is strangely soothing. after he finishes, you decide to point it out.

you tap on his desk to get his attention, “ wow, i didn’t know you sounded like that, kenny. ” since you didn't elaborate, he stares at you with a blank expression in his big baby blue eyes. he slowly squints at you, silently asking for an explanation. you chuckle, “ i think your voice sounds nice, mate. you should run an asmr channel or something. ” kenny's eyes avert from left to right for two rounds before he becomes a popped bubble full of agressive cackles. the entire class stop whatever they're doing to figure what's going on, but you just give kenny a huge toothy smile.

small talk isn't kenny's thing so after you say whatever you wanted to say he'll prob instantly go back to blocking you out like what he does to his parents when they fight

but after a while of processing what you said, he's truly touched, sometimes he'll even tell karen about how much you made his day with that little comment alone

here's a plus, if kenny thinks your cute enough, he'll start lowkey flirting with you, complimenting you over literally everything you do (sometimes he's a lot more straightforward, but he tries to keep it as discreet as possible)

That was something he said to you one night, unprompted

Of course you both had a vague idea of what was happening to him; but neither of you had answers... let alone fully understood

Of course, he knew more than you. He was the one living with this... curse.. and he had it before the two of you met

But even now, it was showing how ugly things could get, and it was only the beginning

Obviously; his appearance was changing. His skin became.. cold, veins were showing, he simply looked like he was dying. Obviously, he had pits for eyes, which were constantly dripping this cold black ooze. His ears and teeth were now pointed, and his fingers ended in claws. But other than that; he more or less looked like a normal person, if you overlooked those silly details

Oh, his tongue.. no matter how you may feel about it, the process of how he "obtained" the monstrous thing is horrifying.

To spare the details, his original tongue essentially split into the half dozen tendrils it is today

Not good stuff, and he felt all of it

And of course there's the psychological and behavioral effects of the curse; to get the big bad out of the way, he can no longer eat normal food. No need to elaborate. Good news is, as of now, he doesnt need to feed often. But when he does, he runs the risk of losing control, almost becoming animalistic in the way he behaves

That's his main fear

He's expressed that those frenzies happen he finds it harder and harder to contain himself, or come back down

He worries that one day you'll be the one getting chomped on

Really, there's nothing either of you can do to stop this or lessen the effects of the curse

Bro only has two options; suck it up and become a monster that can't resemble anything of this world. Or die

There already were some nights where he may have snipped at you. He didn't mean to be aggressive, but he was trying so hard to keep it together. He needed you to leave the area and stay away for a while

Some days his memories begin to cloud, that's probably the scariest for him. It'd be scary for everyone, obviously

I dont typically like writing angst without adding some sort of comfort, or happy ending, but that sort of thing just. Doesnt exist here. Jack's fate is pretty much sealed, and what sucks is that he didnt ask to be dragged into this

This is all sorta based off that spin off backstory jack got (though tbf I dont recall if it was even made by his original creator, though my take is in a silly au), where he makes friends who are (unbeknownst to him) in a cult and had plans to use him

Bro didn't want this, and really the whole thing is tragic

Of course, I'll still try to add some comfort, as it feels wrong to just drag this man around like this

Smells seem to have a positive response

Makes sense; its said that the brain ties smells to memories, and associating it with certain things

So if you wear a certain perfume or use a certain detergent to wash clothing, he'll definitely remember and recognize it. It seems to help him come down after a bad spot

Journaling can help him keep track of the days; though you'll need to give him some time on that... hard to hold pencils when you have claws..

And of course, comfort him; be there for him

hi i know this was a few days ago but i just saw your post about the rottmnt fandom parentifying raph and i reckon you hit the nail on the head. esp since raph is literally 1-2 years older than his brothers????? this isn’t a case of “eldest sibling left to take care of far younger ones in lieu of responsible parent”, this is “eldest sibling looks out for slightly younger siblings because that’s just what siblings Do”, even if he’s leaning a bit on the overprotective side.

see that wouldnt bother me as much if it didnt come at the cost of erasing all of Raph‘s personality.

bc it probably is true that he picked up some slack, that he gained an overprotective streak in a clumsy attempt to help Splinter so he wouldnt have to worry as much. Splinter is no saint; depression and trauma changes people, you get lost in your head more often than not, some days you dont even wanna move, but you have to bc there are four little lives depending on you. but to take this part of Splinter and make it his whole personality completely erases the fact that he loves his sons fiercely and it is that love that keeps him from committing to their training fully since a lot of grievances are tied to his upbringing under the Hamato name.

obviously ppl are free to project and cope with media how they like, that ain’t any of my business and thats what fanworks are for, but it‘s gotten to the point that it‘s become such a widely accepted fanon that ppl perceive as canon and THAT is what grates on me. Raph looking out for his brothers and being worried about his father‘s increasing distance from them has somehow turned into „the bros call Raph Dad and Splinter doesnt care about them“ which is literally one of the WORST cases of media illiteracy i had to witness. it‘s like ppl cant accept that Splinter wasnt 100% perfect or 100% evil and literally just is an okay-ish parent who‘s trying his best and made a lot of mistakes but there is no question that he genuinely loves his kids very much.

so i havent spent an extensive amount of time thinking about this (my brain really saw the pocket of s1e11 downtime for luxury lads and went 'you will consider no other canon time period') BUT actually i do have an abandoned wip that was an extension on me and @grasslandgirl sav's headcanons from like. 2021? eaaaarly 2022? on the bad kids birthdays and i like to think that riz's birthday happens when theyre in prison and he just. doesn't tell them. so later like in the summer when they find out they, firstly, riot, and secondly, throw him a big party because he has FRIENDS and they LOVE him 💚

otherwise. with the large grain of salt of me not having seen freshman year in quite some time so this may all be contradictory, some thoughts fresh off the dome

of course the luxury lads, especially kristen and fig, are very accustomed to living together and being around each other all the time so they cope considerably better* than the others

*this is basically cancelled out tho bc riz is case spiraling and kristen is worried they're gonna call her parents. fig is chillin tho, being in prison is so punk

fabian puts on a brave face but fully inside of a week he's like. im going to die here

gorgug sort of loses his mind with everyone so close and loud all the time so he and adaine spend a lot of time trying to figure out how to mage hand his headphones out of wherever they keep their shit and into the cell so he can not be on the verge of a rage constantly

fig and gorgug try to make the most of it and have band practice in the cell because theyre bored anyway, but that gets shut down real quick on account of the Loud. they do end up writing stuff together tho

adaine gets put on fabian duty because shes the only one that speaks rich, is kind of annoyed but secretly glad to have a distraction/something to channel her anxiety into so she doesnt lose her own mind

kristen: you know this is kind of like camp

fig: you know thats like, really sad, right?

kristen trying to convince the bad kids to let her teach them how to make friendship bracelets out of her own hair, absolutley no one lets that happen

spoilers inbound after this point!!

there are many, many reasons ive fallen in love with them and their dynamic, but ill try to condense them into a more readable format

the sections will be as follows:

 their parallels and how they compliment each other

their kindness and affection towards each other

how they treat the other differently to the others in the mansion

more surface level dynamic things i like

the things that got me attached to them in the first place

parallels!

i feel like every noelashe fan understands their parallels somewhat but im insane so im gonna go in depth

they match and contrast each other in so so many different ways, down to even design (i actually made a post about that before it shouldnt be too hard to find)

their personalities are one thing, energetic and tired, extroverted and introverted, loud and shy, cruel and kind, fake and genuine, manipulative and naïve, i could go on but thatd be WAY too long so i'll just mention these

but thats just on the surface, they actually match each other a LOT more than you think

how ashe is more introverted than what meets the eye, not liking people out of distrust, and noel being tons more talkative and social, adoring people and barely being able to hate anyone

noel being smarter than he appears, willing to lie and manipulate for what he wants, and ashe being really easy to fool sometimes, immediately believing anything he thinks can bring back his family

and of course the obvious, their wishes

the same wish, the same pain, they go through such similar trauma with different ways of dealing with it

or so you think, their coping is very similar and this is acknowledged in sirius's conclusion, the only real difference being if theyre violent or not. noel, has sworn off harming people but he's still not above using backhanded methods for his goals. ashe, despite doing awful things for his wants, still has noble(ish) reasons for why he does these things

neither are entirely innocent, but neither are completely guilty

they both just want the people they care for to live peacefully, alive

but both do some pretty fucked up things for this wish, noel lies to sirius and uses dorothy as a ploy, ashe well- i think we all know. ashe commits multiple varied crimes that range from theft to murder and noel's own negligence can be considered a crime in some cases.

they have an understanding no one else does and it creates a lot of interest towards them and develops them as individuals too

kindness

they care so much for each other its insane

noel has trouble seeing ashe as anything but kind and ashe cant help but feel attached to noel even if he doesnt want to, which makes them get close each time and it makes them feel for each other a LOT more than they need to

the times where noel is sick and ashe takes care of him, ashe saying he lied so noel wont feel bad, noel letting ashe confide in him and ashe even trusting him enough to say his worries in the first place, the list goes on

they just have an instant bond bc they want someone to care and help them (even if both have trouble admitting it) and they want to help each other, which just makes them care more

it always ends in kindness between the two and it's one of the ways we get a happy ending

theres a lot of reasons why i love them but theres a few very specific things that got me attached

most obvious is that theyre both my favorites, im extremely attached to ashe and i loved him from the start, i didnt start liking noel until a tiny bit later but he very quickly gained my love

i also relate to them both heavily so seeing them care so much for each other gave me comfort

its a huge pattern that most of my ships are of the character i got immediately attached to and relate to and other character i relate to who cares about the first character

the fate line. its just so gay i was like "thats kinda gay" and while i didnt always think of it like it was super important it always stuck in my head like "yeah i could ship them"

but the real thing that started this all was the wine scene

its when i realized how much they cared for each other and then the floodgates opened, and here we are now!!

its still by far my favorite scene of the two it just makes me so happy its so adorable

conclusion

i have an extreme love for noelashe and just seeing them can make my entire mood better

i dont think many people have analyzed them as much as me so its sad to see how much stuff with them goes unnoticed

theyre genuinely so great for each other, platonic, romantic or anything in between, they deserve to be happy with each other

Boone in love

(it may be a little sad but I wouldnt call it an angst bcs good ending ig)(I used she/her pronouns) SWF

Bruh I can just imagine Boone being scared to love again. He would stuggle to open up, face his feelings, let go of his past. It would take a while to Boone to trust anyone again, to love anyone again. If he finally gets cought by love, He will deny it, avoid the person. Then the Courer is upset, worried. Did she say something wrong? Is Boone okay?

Boone will become less open, less talktive(even more than usual)

If he falls in love long after death of his wife he will be less stressed about it, but never stops. He will hope inside that she will confess to him first, but Courier doesnt want to do that, see shes worried that Boone still mourns and loves his wife, she doesnt want to intervine.

The confess would happen when Boone drinks a little to much and says it randomly, she would just stare in shock, hoping that it wasnt a little 'my bad i was drunk i didnt mean it' accident. Courier will confront him after he gets sober, hoping he remebers what he said. When asked he will get extremly nervous( but she couldnt tell, he always has the same blank face)

If Courier decides to confess her feelings, he will be silent for a while, not sure if he heard that right. She wants him? The bald depressed guy? He always thought he wasnt enough for her, charming strong lady(or not lady idc) could have any guy really. He says that he isnt sure what he feels and he needs time to think.

In reality he just doesnt know how to cope with this, he has been unlucky this past few years and now she feels the same way he feels? He Just doesnt know how to react really.

Later he will silently say something along the lines "i love you too" Courier would be do happy that love of her life feels the same way! If she is the type of person that loves hugs he would be a little stiff at start but warm up to them quickly🥰

Overall Boone seems like good husband material, will take care of you,but will be worried 24/7 and is going to shoot in head any person even thinking about being mean to you and will try his best to compliment you(if you have other love language he will adapt very fast ^^ ) 7/10

i think k'oto has a lot of trouble asking for help bc he doesnt want to be a burden he's supposed to be the HERO who helps EVERYONE ELSE so he just kinda tries to be independent and take care of himself most of the time...half assedly healing his own wounds (they always scar because hes terrible at spellcasting and can never do it the whole way) or powering through colds and such to keep working and hes so confident and charismatic he can usually get away without worrying anyone bc hes just so good at playing it off but unfortunately the omnipotent wizard who is always watching him and keeping track of his condition down to the very aether that makes up his soul is not so easily fooled and WILL force his help on him. k'oto tries to be like 'haha no im good i swear' but emet will touch him where he knows hes hurt and catch him when he stumbles in pain and direct him to sit down and take off whatever he needs to in order to take a look...k'oto fidgets while hes being healed bc hes not used to the feeling of a proper treatment but emet always keeps one hand on his back rubbing it reassuringly until its done and then kisses where it was to finish it off...if its not too bad of an injury he'll let him go but keep an eye on him and maybe check in on how its healing once or twice but if its smth like a broken bone or smth else that might reopen or otherwise get worse with strain he will insist k'oto stay in bed at least for the rest of the day if not a few if they can spare it,,,making him dinner and bringing it to him in bed and giving him aether massages and making sure he rests by laying with him and cuddling with him....🥺 he does, in classic emet selch style, huff and puff a bit about """having""" to do it but then also any time k'oto tries to get up and do smth himself he teleports him back to bed and scolds him for getting up <3 🥹🥹🥹💜❤️💜❤️🫶 its the same kind of thing when k'oto is sick instead of injured and its so nice having an immortal boyfriend who cant get sick to stay by his side and help him take medicine and hold him at night and rub his back while he sleeps...w.ahhh

tw : familial abandonment, drug use & dealing (doesnt go into huge detail but its mentioned), manipulation/shitty friends, depression, self-worth issues, self-destructive behaviour

so mack (it/any btw) is a character who is very convinced he has already gone through his Character Arc(TM) and doesn't need any more help with his issues. and like, he absolutely got over a lot of issues he used to have, but a lot of other ones were just... pushed down to a place where it can pretend those problems don't exist anymore.

mack was shunned by its whole family when they were turned into a vampire at 15 by their manipulative and shitty vampire "friends", and ran away shortly after. they almost immediately fell into a group of shady people, since that was what it was used to. mostly, these people broke a lot of laws to have a lot of quite-dangerous-in-retrospect parties. illegal fireworks, irresponsible drug use, dares like "play chicken but with cars instead of swings", that sorta thing. mack knew at least 2 people who died at these things and it was not uncommon for them to wake up six blocks away with a memory gap of several hours

this went on for 2-3 years, im not quite sure, until one day mack watched One More person die at a party and was like . hey . maybe this isn't a good use of my life. and he just... ran away again? not in the same way, but he just ghosted everyone she knew and had to start over. it had a lot of shady/sneaky skills from times it used to help w drug dealing, so it put those skills into working on not-super-legal issues but in a significantly safer context (essentially scamming billionaires).

at this time, around age 18 or so, Mack was also loitering a lot at a cafe frequented by university students. at this spot was where Mack met the then-20 and extremely optimistic (lmao) James, a first-year theoretical physics major. when James (Sufferinf w/ rent) realized mack was homeless, he offered to let it stay with him, and mack then officially had a living space ! hurrah. this was the point where mack went "okay so clearly i am now okay. i have a house, food, a less-illegal-than-before job, and am not actively and dangerously using drugs or doing horrifically reckless things. im normal!" and shoved all their issues under the rug

those issues included the fact that by this point mack was just. incapable of showing negative emotions, bc they thought no one would love them if they did bc they'd be too much of a burden. (this is heightened by the fact their chronic pain started at 17.) then there's also the insistence that their constant exhaustion, apathetic feelings, and deep fear of getting close to people is Normal And Fine, their fear of any person who presents themself as a parental or otherwise familial figure, their feelings that it's not worth anything if it can't make others constantly happy, and her inability to cope with anything that she doesn't know how to bullshit through.

by the time the story starts, Mack and James have collected 2 more roommates (Leah and Spacey) (and they will get Val next ofc). James is... significantly more tired and significantly less optimistic, which also makes Mack feel more like she's in control (like, see, even JAMES is doing bad! so surely it's just the average stress of life. i'm ok. never once does he consider James is just also crumbling till like halfway through the book, and that is actually a tense side of their friendship). mack is very very convinced that since it's not actively putting itself in danger twice a week, it's FINE, and no one has to WORRY, and--

then val comes along and kinda. forcibly makes him realize he is not ok. and funky story things ensue :3

Some more angst for the adoption au

Max gets into an argument with Toto and Lewis right before Christmas break, and it’s a silly little argument that they don’t think much of but suddenly Max informs them he’s not coming home for Christmas and he just stops responding to their calls and messages entirely. He’s not talking to Lance either and Lance is heartbroken because that’s his big brother. And he feels like he’s done something wrong and Toto and Lewis don’t know how to deal with the situation bc Max won’t answer and Lance is inconsolable.

Lance skips class one day (which he never does!) and takes the train to go see Max. And when he gets there he can see something is really really wrong. Max doesn’t want to open the door, Charles is the one that opens when he hears it’s Lance. And Charles looks so stressed out and worried. When Lance finally sees Max he looks absolutely terrible, dark shadows under his eyes and his cheekbones are more pronounced than they should be. And Max just looks so unhappy. He doesn’t even smile when he sees Lance he just turns around and continues studying.

Charles ends up pulling Lance out of the dorm when Lance starts tearing up and just quietly whispering that Max is putting so much pressure on himself and he’s completely burnt out. He’s not eating or sleeping, he just stares at his books all day.

Lance calling Lewis and he’s crying asking them to please come help, something is wrong with Max. Toto and Lewis being so worried because Lance sounds terrified and they don’t know what’s going on.

Max is completely apathetic towards them when they get there and he doesn’t really acknowledge them. Lewis just carefully hugging him and telling him he needs to take a break but Max straight up refuses. Charles cant seem to care that this is how he meets his boyfriend’s parents, he’s holding a crying Lance while also crying.

Charles calls the school counselor to have his exams be diverted and Toto and Lewis takes their boy home. Max has to do a lot of therapy over the winter break before he can go back to university. And they get him anti depressants and anti anxiety meds to help him cope. But they’re all really reluctant to send him back because they’re so worried it’ll happen again

PLLLSSS POOR BUBBB ((we are really torturing Max in every verse today huh ksks)

Toto and Lewis knowing that something is not quite right with max and they try to talk to him but Max just explodes and gets so mad! Hanging up the phone angrily and later texting Toto and Lewis that he wont be coming home for the christmas break. Ofc Toto and Lewis are sad but Lance is just inconsable, he hasnt seen Max in months and misses him so much, and now Max isnt coming??

Lance tries to call Max a million times but and texting him so much too but Max is not replying... Lance is just so worried and needs him so bad that he decides to go to Max to convince him! Lance hates going by public transport on his own and the train to Max is like an hour and a half and Lance is just fidgeting, feeling bad about skipping class and lying to his papas, and bad about Max not replying...

Charles just being part relieved when he sees Lance because maybe it will help Max! Although he is a bit worried about Lance having come here alone. But Lance just starts crying when he sees Max cos Max doesnt look okay, looking exhausted and thin and not reacting to Lance, not calling him his teddy bear and not hugging him, and Lance thinks its a jojke at first until he sees how worried Charles is too.

Maybe Max ran into Jos? And Jos told him he was his real father and that he thinks Max grew up way too soft, that he isnt tough enough, not good enough, and it just hurt Max so much. Poor thing is trying to prove to himself that he isnt useless and stupid, but he is struggling with his classes too and it just gets too much, until he is only focusing on school and barely taking care of himself.

Lance calling Lewis and Toto crying and they come as soon as they can, hating how apathic Max is and how he only reacts, angrily, when they try to take his books away.

Lewis trying to hug Max but Max wont really hug back, and Toto is just resolutely packing a suitcase for max and calling the student councilor to let them know that Max is leaving early and to postpone his exams. Charles just hugging Lance and trying to soothe him and both are just crying cos they hate seeing their maxy like this... Toto just hugging them both close for a moment, nosing Charles and asking if Charles wants to come back with them for a bit, and after Charles says yes and tells them he has all the time cos he cant go home to his family for christmas this year, Toto just decides he is staying with them the whole break ksks

Max having a lot of therapy and slowly becoming more like himself again, seeming relieved to be with his papas and Lance again, and even more so when Charles is also there! And Charles sometimes stays with Max in his room, but sometimes will wordlessly snuggle up in Lance's nest instead when its just too much for Max.

And slowly things get better, but its still really difficult when Max goes back to uni... But maybe he stays living at home for a while longer with Toto and Lewis driving him to his lectures!

SO! blondie in the middle is called andi. she is captain of a ship called the black beauty. she ran away from home at the age of 19. her brother died when she was 15. girl got buckets of trauma. loves her crew. was voted queen of the seas a while back. pansexual. bit of a whore but we love her

the one kissing her head is ryka. she is the princess of aeria and she joins andi's crew for a brief time bc she wants to find the heart of the ocean (theres so much more lore but its like i dont wanna give too much away). the reason she's the only one really interacting with andi properly in the drawing is bc they are endgame. shes a lesbian but was arranged to marry a man (not bc the world is homophobic, its just she hated the rest of the suitors her parents approved of)

next to ryka is lukas. he was andi's childhood friend and first love. they were together at the age of 13-14, but eventually broke up bc best if they were friends (loved each other platonically not romantically. thats why hes further away than the others). however, when andi gets with iris and aria leaves, they fall out and he eventually goes to find aria. at the timeline in the story, he is dead

laying on andi's lap is rosa. she is actually one of my favourites to write. a girlboss. an icon. she is a prostitute, but like shes knows what shes worth and wont take shit from anyone. her and andi don't love each other (hence the reason u cant see her face), but andi is like her fav client and shes andis fav whore i guess (that sounds fucked up but like they genuinely are friends and care about each other)

on the floor is syrena. shes a mermaid. and like she is completely and utterly in love with andi (they have slept together) but it is one-sided. andi cares for her as a friend, but isnt in love with her. thats why shes on the floor and looking up, showing her devotion as such, but how unrequited it is. the definition of the other woman. shes actually really sweet (despitr always suggesting to eat ryka so andi doesnt have any problems)

the one looking up at andi is aria. she wasn't friends with andi as long as lukas was, but was still a childhood friend. she met lukas through being andi's gf at the time. they went out for a few months when they were 14, but then aria said she wanted to focus on training and they broke up (andi was starting to fall in love with her but understood and was ok being friends). after andi started spiraling, she left and joined the navy for where they are from (i cant remember what i called the place and my notebook is god knows where)

then last but certainly not least is iris. she is a priestess for the deities. she got with andi just after her brother died (andi doesnt have the best coping mechanisms) she knew of this prophecy about the heart of the ocean and whilst she did care for andi, she was kind of manipulating her for the deities so this prophecy could be fulfilled. andi worshipped her. i wouldnt say it was love bc of unhealthy it was but she was obsessed. when andi ran away, they said goodbye and broke up but yeah. shes really powerful. she does care for andi and then in the future helps them find the heart and fix all the problems that come with the heart

yes i cried over merlin s2ep9 and i will admit it bc i need to talk abt it to express just how much it was bc im so emotionally traumatized that there are only two things that will make me cry literally only two in very extreme amount but this shit right here did it for me anyway

i saw somebody a while ago say smth abt merlin definitely actually wanting to leave a few times freya being one of them bc hes been so repressed that just being allowed to be himself without hiding anything makes him fall in love with a girl in two days so much that hes gonna abandon his destiny and his friends to go live with her and be who he is, they are the ‘holy shit for the love of jesus christ our lord and savior get me the fuck out of here’ to each others ‘literally please im so lonely im surrounded by ppl but they all would want me dead if they knew’ and that is just beautiful it is a whole new level of crazy to someones crazy it is going insane to someones going insane and that is magnificent

also the part where she recognizes him while shes a beast tormenting the town that she runs away they need to save each other so bad that it can fuck up some old roach’s curse

AND THEN thats right im not done AND FUCKING THEN at the lake when merlins holding her and shes all like “oh u save me i am loved now i die good ehe” then she dies like that its so heartbreaking bc its like yeah she got saved bc she got to die with that but what abt him she just fucking left him like that to keep livin la vida loca (bad) with all the shit he almost managed to run away from

AND THEN (last one) when merlins doing stuff for arthur and he walks in and sits next to him to see whats up (literally beautiful that a prince would sit his royal ass on that floor next to his servant to make sure hes ok) and he has no idea abt freya so he treats it like a normal ass situation so merlin kinda acts different then falls into normal rhythm

(new paragraph it woulda been too long i have so much to say abt this) i was thinking abt how merlin handles certain situations bc like how is he not literally imploded rn then i realized the way id handle that shit is sit and think abt it but he doesnt do that, hes actually rly rly smart he just goes thru too much shit to actively and consistently be smart so he does like he did in this one and falls into a routine so that he doesnt think he just goes and keeps livin la vida loca and doesnt even worry abt it cuz hes not thinking abt it bc thats how he copes is not thinking abt it cuz hes smart

so i think arthur unconsciously knows this which is why he just comes in and fucks with merlin a lil bit then lists off the things to do so merlin definitely feels better bc it helps him not think but at the end when hes like deciding a facial expression hes thinking then and hes thinking “shit man im never getting out of here i gotta fuckin live like this goddamn that sucks ass” bc he knows its gonna be years till uther dies and years after that till arthur accepts magic and all that time he has to keep hunting his own kind and being an ally in the war literally against what he is and keep being praised for it (reference to s2ep8) and doesnt have a choice bc as hes recently learned fate will not let him run away with a girl and give up his destiny so he can live a good healthy life
