That last BatIM reblog just reminded me how Funny it is that Bertrum is canonically described as being a BIG BURLY BEAR OF A MAN, and lots of fans took that and ran with it

#bertrum piedmont #bendy and the ink machine #dizzyisms #I don't even remember if I gave him a specific height hdndkd #I just know that at one point I described him as being ''a few inches shorter'' than my OC Dizzy #who is *5'7''* #SO NOT THAT TALL LMAOO #(tho tbh that particular bit of writing is like a year old at this point and I've reworked a lot of details so #I might just retcon him into being *slightly* taller #but just. listen. nothing is funnier to me than characters who think they're SUCH hot shit and have an ego the size of Jupiter #and are also the Least physically imposing people imaginable #honestly it kinda works for Bertrum #if he didn't exactly have much of a physical presence then I can totally see why he'd pour so much effort into building up his reputation #like ''by God I WILL make the world take me seriously'' #...but also also I love the mental image of my Joey (who is one of the tallest outta my JDS staff headcanons) condescendingly leaning down #to talk to Bertie #.......now that I think about it I'm kinda biased towards making characters Short #bc I myself am a fuckin Shortass #my Henry is literally the same height as me (5'3'') hdhsbsidjsjs
