The silly pilot's license I mentioned in my post the other day just arrived! It's from this Etsy listing, and it turned out just as cool looking as I'd hoped. The seller was great to work with and let me use the unusual combined glyph for ae in my name, and it arrived stupidly fast. Now I'm going to be looking for excuses to bust this out when we're at Galaxy's Edge, lol.

In the background of this pic is the project currently on my sewing table, what I've dubbed the 'scrappy sweatshirt', which I'll be wearing under my Batuu vest unless the day turns out to be just obnoxiously warm. This bit right here is some detail from the lower section of the sleeve, but really the project deserves a whole post in its own right. I want to finish up the other sleeve, iron both of them, and take a couple pictures of everything, then I'll probably do a post sometime later tonight.

Six days and counting to my birthday trip to Galaxy’s Edge!

Deciding whether to Batuubound or wear my Bad Batch T-shirt and Backpack and carry Lula to rep the guys because it will be Wednesday. If I Batuubound it’ll be my Jedi one it will be too hot out for my jacket I use for my rebel gear.

I can go anytime I want for the most part so I can easily go back for photos in Batuubound with my lightsaber after I build it.

Every year since Galaxy’s Edge East opened my daughter and I celebrate by going to a full day of Batuubounding, droid building, and drinking at Oga’s.

This year I’m finally going to go for it an build my lightsaber. I kept putting it off because of the price and the difficulty of getting a reservation close to the date. I live here and don’t usually plan out days at Batuu.

But I’m doing it. Countdown 46 days. I need to decide which type I’m going with.

I also want to master the obi-ani and be able to sight read auberesh. We’ll see how much I get through.
