- Baking Soda - Block busting, cleansing, protection
- Orange Peel - Attraction/prosperity
- Appropriate prayers/petitions/psalms
Instructions:
Light insence and pray over each individual ingredient for the above aspects, repeating the prayers/petitions at least 3 times over each ingredient before moving to the next. Add each ingredient into a pot of water and heat it up over the stove. Say more prayers/petitions, or pray a psalm over the mixture repeatedly. Ask that the heat from the stove heat up the work and continue to pray over it. Let it come to a boil and boil for 10 minutes, then strain out the solids. (You could also put them into a cheesecloth or reusable tea bag if you have that on hand.)
Let it cool to room temp
You can either use it all at once, or portion it for however many days you want to do the working for. The more days you do this for, the more powerful the working typically, as repetition compounds the effects
For the actual bath, you can either add it to a tub full of water, or you can take a shower and at the end of the shower pour it over your head. Either way, you need to be praying for it to cleanse you and strip away any blocks, any negative energies that are stuck to you, any unwanted energies. Then pray for protection from said energies and protection from any baneful or malefic magic that may be thrown your way in the near future, and finally pray for prosperity, wealth, blessings, and abundance. Also pray any psalms that you are drawn to that would work for this purpose
I hope this one gets circulated honestly, I don't think there's a lot of people that realize that a spell/working can have more than one purpose baked into it. I hope this one helps some people, too. More than that, this bath could also be used in your mop water or on your doors as well
August 25th was the day of Opiconsivia, a festival held in the honor of Ops, the goddess of plenty. Associated with abundance at the time of harvest, Ops is a goddess of transitions as the seasons change. Choose an August night to take a bath and bring about some changes in your life.
Blend the herbs into the Epsom salts and fill your bathtub with comfortably warm water. Add the herb-salt mixture and climb into the tub. Close your eyes and relax, and think about the changes you need to make. What do you need to do different to bring about transformation? Say “Life transitions and rearranges, starting today, everything changes.” Repeat this as many times as you like while you sit in the water. When you're ready to get town, drain the tub, dry off, and get started with the next phase of your life.

“Daily Spellbook for the Good Witch: Quick, Simple, and Practical Magic for Every Day of the Year,” by Patti Wigington
Two days ago, my entire body was sore beyond belief from working two days in a row for nearly eight hours each doing my new job. It’s highly labor demanding and includes doing tasks like squatting nearly constantly, carrying crates and pushing floats, lifting heavy objects both up and down to guide them into specific places, etc. Because I’m a artist/editor and mainly spend my days at home watching cartoons and making silly indulgent YouTube videos I quickly realized just how out of it the shifts had made me, so after that last shift I decided to do something about it.
I thought to myself, ‘Aphrodite is the queen of all things self love and taking care of yourself outside of physical conditions (since Apollo is the god of health/ailments/plague as well as the sun and poetry and music and prophecy etc) right?’ So, I decided to buy some various self care products and cast a small bath spell to help heal my body and take care of myself under Aphrodite’s influence. Keep in mind that a part of the spell I did included putting eggshells into the bath, to represent my “cracked” or “broken” body that I was asking Aphrodite to help me amend/put back together myself so I can come out of my recovery period stronger then ever.
I should’ve worded myself a bit better there, either that or what my body needed to recover actually did need to include more pain then relief.
The next morning I wake up only to find my period had started, and not just started, full on fucking drowning me in waves of blood and agony. All throughout the day I was having my usual terrible cramps that only stopped after I did things like eat, drink water, and take painkillers. The entire day I was cursing at myself and my body for doing this to me literally the day after doing such hard work, since my legs and back were still sore as all hell from my job on top of the period cramps. However, I’m just now realizing that this may have been brought on to me so suddenly not only because of how I worded a part of my bath spell, but also because Aphrodite likely sensed that I was due for my time of the month anyway and is trying to get my body to let it all out in her own way so I can feel better later down the line. I feel like it’s also notable to say that the pain has been feeling better when I took care of myself.
Alright, alright. You made your point here, Lady Of Love. Lesson learnt. Tonight I’m going to bed with blue lace agate, dream amethyst, and my rose quartz in a pink pouch under my pillow along with my garnet bracelet just for you. And maybe to also help me feel better from your lesson by the time I wake up nfndfnbfjwoqnfkfnskndmfd

The first thing uses a snippet from the It's Nice That article where they interviewed the main three of the cast of DHMIS in 2016! I couldn't get the idea out of my head so I had to sketch out my interpretation of the image I had in my head! This is the result:
Also misc. Shrignolds, a Batman reference, and a funny Brain Friends image!

Feeling tired? Have you slept 8 hours, 12 hours, napped, drank coffee, slammed red bulls, but you just… can’t keep going on? I know I am. And I don't just want energy, or a buzz. I need real rest and real vitality. These baths will help promote that!
Part one - Rest
Exfoliating sugar scrub
Brown sugar
Ground oats - not instant
Shea butter or coconut oil
Bath Mix
2 drops Lavender oil
2 cups milk (let it come to room temperature, but don’t leave it out long!)
4 tablespoons honey
Half a cup chamomile loose leaf tea
Optional - Melatonin bubble bath or melatonin spray
Quickly wash your body/hair, exfoliate using the scrub and rinse. Then enjoy a nice relaxing bath! If you have music you usually use to fall asleep, listen to it. I personally lit candles and turned the lights off. It was very relaxing. Just soak for a while. Enjoy it.
Ideally the first bath will be done at night before bed. Then, in the morning, take the rejuvenating bath.
Part 2 - Rejuvenation
Hang fresh eucalyptus above your shower head, and run the shower as hot as possible to steam up the bathroom before filling the tub. Play a good morning or feel good playlist, maybe open a window if you can to get some fresh air.
Bath Mix
Full Moon Water, as much as you have
1 drop lemon oil
1 drop bergamot oil
Epsom Salt
A bath bomb! Preferably a fresh scent or peppermint bomb, no chamomile or lavender
It's super important to make time to take care of yourself and nurture your soul. I created a simple self love bath ritual just for that! Remember, the most important aspect of any ritual is your intention and the energy you bring to it. Trust in the power of self-love and allow yourself to fully embrace the experience.
Ingredients:
Rose quartz crystal (for self-love and healing)
Epsom salt (for relaxation and cleansing)
Pink candles (for love and emotional healing)
Fresh roses or rose petals (for love and beauty)
Your favorite bath oils or salts (optional)
Your intention and positive energy
Instructions:
Begin by setting the mood in your bathroom. Dim the lights, play soothing music, and create a serene atmosphere that promotes relaxation and self-care.
Fill your bathtub with warm water. As the tub is filling, add a handful of Epsom salt. Epsom salt helps to draw out toxins from your body and promotes a sense of relaxation.
Light the pink candles and place them around the bathroom. Their soft, gentle glow will create a calming and loving ambiance.
Take the rose quartz crystal in your hands and focus on your intention for the self-love bath. Visualize yourself surrounded by unconditional love and acceptance. Feel a sense of warmth and compassion emanating from the crystal.
Gently place the rose quartz crystal in the bathtub. As it comes into contact with the water, imagine its loving energy infusing the water, filling the tub with healing vibrations.
If you have fresh roses, scatter their petals on the water's surface. Alternatively, you can sprinkle dried rose petals in the bath. The roses symbolize love and beauty, further enhancing the self-love experience
Step into the bath and submerge yourself in the warm water. Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths, allowing yourself to relax fully and release any tension or negative thoughts.
As you soak in the bath, meditate on self-love and self-acceptance. Repeat positive affirmations such as "I am worthy of love and happiness" or any other affirmations that resonate with you. Visualize any emotional wounds healing and being replaced with self-love and compassion.
Stay in the bath for as long as you desire, enjoying the peaceful and loving energy. You can also use this time to journal, reflect, or simply indulge in self-care activities.
When you feel ready to end the ritual, thank the rose quartz crystal and roses for their healing energy. Blow out the candles (if safe to do so) and take a moment to express gratitude for the experience.
Once you've finished your bath, drain the water, and rinse off any remaining rose petals. Take a moment to ground yourself, feeling the loving energy you've cultivated within you.
For water witches who long to be home. Can be used by anyone to bring calmness and relaxation.
You will need:
🐚Big sea shell
🐚Sea salt
🐚Blue or ocean scented candle (can be sea spray, drift wood, etc.)
🐚Small sea shell
🐚Beach sand (optional)
🐚Ocean Jasper
🐚Pearl
🐚Sea water (optional)
In the large sea shell, combine the above mentioned ingredients and focus your intent into it. If you are using sea water, rub your candle with a drop or two as well. Visualize the waves crashing, hear the roar of the tide, smell the salt in the air. Charge your candle the same way. Light your candle and place both candle and spell shell next to your tub. Run a bath and add some sea salt. Take your bath and meditate on the ambience of the ocean. I personally play nature sounds of waves crashing, maybe a thunderstorm as well. Do this whenever you need to unwind and recharge. Let the 'ocean' take you away from reality for a while.
* I'm weird, but I like to visualize swimming around in the deep with all of the marine life. It gives it an extra boost, for me anyways.
