🌲Hello friends :) 🌲
I have returned from hibernation to offer you the crinkliest of un-ironed linen co-ords featuring my vintage tablecloth apron and my green ticking op 🌱
🌲Green ticking op made from thrifted ikea bedsheet, self draft pattern. Styled with selfmade vintage tablecloth apron, refurbished woven bag and thrifted wool cardigan from next.
That cute little apron is made of damaged leftovers from the apron I made for my friend 💖

Dear Reader
I hope you are all doing well in this first month of the year. I am here to announce that I have started a new series on YouTube entitled, What's The Deal With Parisians? / Paname Obsession Series. With this series, I am aiming to bring a new respect to French fashion culture, lifestyle and history by giving more context to their references and shedding a light upon the ideas and people which have influenced it. This is something I feel is important to discuss because at surface level many it appears that many people overlook the depth of these references and do not really appreciate the impact they have had on the international outlook on fashion, art and culture. In this series, I explain some of the significance these references have on the contemporary fashion and lifestyle landscapes.

In the first episode I talk about Jane Birkin as a starting point who is undoubtedly at the core of this culture as a pioneer and an everlasting muse. I hope you enjoy these videos, and please let me know what you think. I would love your input, and I look forward to keep on inspiring others to be persistent in what they believe in.
Sincerely
Skirt Editor

Today’s (and always) inspiration is Jane Birkin.
The French beauty established an elegant yet playful and chic style with easy to find pieces.
Her statements are: white shirts, mini dresses, basket bag, short shorts among others, being these the most iconic ones.
