Do you see that giant chive? It’s an absolute monster - it made it through the winter and now it’s kinda …. A mascot. It’s so big and everyone marvels at it. Sometimes a leaf with collapse under its own weight so I’ll harvest that and it serves dozens of salads. There’s a bunch of little pathetic chive seedlings at its feet, with this giant looming over them. It goes up to my hips and each leaf is much thicker around than my thumb

This is my repousse drawing/carving of the photo I took of the basil in my grandmother's garden. I actually drew it by freehand directly onto the surface. I was pleased with how it came out, giving that it was a space of 5"x 5." :-)

I have not been doing much photography lately and that greatly saddens me, also the fucker in the pot is named Jeremiah and he’s a bitchass basil plant who doesn’t want to live. I bought him from the supermarket

Also the strange cauldron of chicken leg and onion is me boiling scraps and making chicken stock! That pot alone made 14 cups of chicken broth!!! Very happy :)
