Is being "underchallenged" in school even a thing that actually happens to people? Like my entire time in middle and high school counsellors and administrators kept pushing me to take more classes and AP classes under the assumption I wouldn't be depressed or act out if I was doing twice as much schoolwork and I literally cannot imagine a single scenario in which that'd help anyone.

#Even the people who signed up for those classes willingly were mostly there cause their parents pushed them to overachieve #The one exception was AP English but AP English's extra homework was 99% assigned reading so it was like #basically just a book club for classic lit and if you're into that it's def easier than regular English
