Drew Barrymore meets her ex Corey Feldman on her show - Times of India
Earlier this week, Drew Barrymore had Corey Feldman over on her show, The Drew Barrymore Show. The two met after 25 years and remembered the good old days when they dated for a few months as teenagers. “We partied, we didn’t party,” said Barrymore, while Corey replied in the same light vein: “We got sober together, we got un-sober together.”Both at that time were child actors in Steven Spielberg…

The brilliant silent & talkie movie actor John Barrymore starred in two different adaptations of Herman Melville’s 1851 novel Moby Dick - both produced by Warner Brothers. The first was the 1926 silent movie The Sea Beast directed by Millard Webb starring Barrymore’s his second wife-to-be, the beauteous Dolores Costello. The second version was made only four years later in 1930 and was directed by Lloyd Bacon, co-starting the delightful Joan Bennett. I love both versions, and am completely swept away by #Barrymore’s range as an actor and his ability to transition from silent to talkies in such a short period of time. Untitled (Moby Dick III), ink and acrylic on canvas, 24x36 ins, 2022, #HomaTaj. (at Nantucket, Massachusetts) https://www.instagram.com/p/CguDbDrrEsk/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

I spoke to my dad who's been on strike a few hours ago, and he said this is absolutely true. The studios were still hoping they could starve out the writers, and didn't expect the general public to be so strongly on the union's side still 5 months in.
He's lived through four WGA strikes, and he says the energy and solidarity he's seen both inside and outside the union has been far beyond what has ever been present before. The internet ate Drew Barrymore alive for scabbing, and within days the studios were back at the negotiating table giving in to almost every demand.
Thanks guys. This really was a team effort ❤️❤️ #eatthefuckingrich
