I really appreciate the comments on my recent Sandy Cheeks drawing so I gained a little confidence to upload some art I’ve been working on.

Introducing my ideas for THE ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW ANIMATED SERIES.

This is just for fun but I imagine it would be done in the style of the old Scooby Doo cartoons, with a laugh track and everything. Will have to be black and white of course.

 A little Loony Tunes slapstick thrown in for extra measure but not too much of it, obviously. Will stay true to the original show with character driven storylines in favor over ‘’jokes’’. 

These are just my designs for some of the male cast… I forgot Opie so will have to draw him later. I might try some of the other characters. Will draw The Girls later.

Waluigi is a persona made by him to gain relevance in the Mushroom Kingdom. He based his new personality on Luigi. What if Waluigi was never used to be tall and used a stretcher to make self lanky, like Luigi?

I know you probably meant like a medieval stretcher but I'm imagining something more like this.

Andy stated in an interview in 1986 that, ’'The background relationship of all these characters in this little show is love. Gomer and Barney loved one another. Maybe they’d get angry with one another, but they loved each other.''   And that pretty much sums it up. Barney and Gomer argue but they always hug and make up.   ❤️

This is a random thing but I was thinking of Barney and Thelma Lou from The Andy Griffith Show and what a hot mess that relationship was??? Like, beneath the iconic moments where they'd get caught together and Barney would have lipstick all over his face, he was generally an awful, awful boyfriend who never made Thel a priority and actively cheated on her throughout their four years together. Why exactly do people remember them fondly? All I remember feeling during most of their episodes was blind rage toward Barney, and extreme relief when they finally called it quits and Thelma Lou married someone else.
