one difference between Kepler and Stellina that I find really intrigues me is the barking: Stellina loves to bark. She was a VERY barky puppy. When she wanted something, when she didn’t like something, when she was too excited - BARKBARKBARK. it was one of the main challenges of her adolescence and continues to still be something I have to stay on top of, especially when in new environments. if she gets AT ALL over her excitement threshold, she’s barking.
kep will do a little barking when he’s playing around in the yard, or if Stellina has a treat he wants, or when he’s very very amped up, but overall he just. doesn’t. it’s just not his go-to response like it was for Stellina. and I can’t figure out if that’s normal, if he’s quiet, if she’s very loud, or both. but I’m definitely not complaining.
Tobey sometimes has trouble expressing his inner feelings towards Becky. Fortunately, he’s built a little friend to help accompany the strum of his heartstrings.
Fond memories of being accused of gatekeeping shelties for saying that if your idea of stimulation is a quick stroll around the neighbourhood then maybe there are other breeds better suited for that than a miniature sheepdog
