Wanted to figure out some art stuff so I messed around a bit with my beloved @banhbeotim 's fanfic stuff...y'all are missing out, I'm gonna go reread it suckers.
Tumblr media
It's kinda funny ya know? I was finally thinking my art looks like what I expected it to...and then I remember I'm mainly a traditional pencil artist since I was a child...maybe we will see style changes teehee♡

Hey it's me again! How are Maxie and Archie in your AU? Will they be based more on the games, hcs, manga, etc. Also, what's their relationship? ;p
Hello again!
I made a post on Archie and Maxie here but I'll give you some more information as well! :D
My inspiration for Archie and Maxie's personalities is a mix of game and popular fandom interpretations. I originally planned to make it entirely game based, but over time I realized that I loved certain things the fandom has come up with and incorporated those!
The plot for them though, is heavily inspired by PokeSpe. It's no where near exact, but a lot of the plot ideas came from certain plot lines there.
As for their relationship, they were best friends, then started to wonder if they could be more, then realized they totally could but were cowards who wouldn't confess, leading into their big fight that created teams Aqua and Magma.
When the RR event/main story happens, Archie is ready to be back to the "best friends but maybe more" situation. Maxie, however, is a bit skittish around Archie. Part of that is Archie's fault, but some of those nerves come from other sources.
TL;DR: Game and Headcanon personalities, with manga plot. They were friends pre-games, and when the main story begins they're on good-ish terms again, with some heavy hardenshipping undertones, but they've got PLOT to deal with first.

I don't know if you're still doing the happening in canon meme but... Jeff having sunstroke in the desert?? because he's more susceptible to that stuff bc he lives in Winters? where the sun don't shine??
Send me a scene that happened in canon and I’ll write in detail how my muse felt in it - No Longer Accepting
Jeff hadn’t known much about Eagleland before he’d crash-landed in Threed. He knew a little from television and books and movies, though it was probably mostly stereotypical, but one thing he’d never really thought about was the weather. Threed had a nice fall breeze and a little sun (when it hadn’t been, well, overrun by zombies), and Grapefruit Falls had been a little warmer than Jeff was used to, but nothing worth complaining about.
But this was his first time experiencing a desert.
And yes, he knew that the two biggest deserts were on the poles, and thus weren’t hot and that hot wasn’t a prerequisite for a biome to identify as a desert, but he meant the hot kind.
Jeff, Ness, and Paula were the only ones on the bus to Fourside now passing through what the driver referred to as Dusty Dunes Desert, and Jeff had his head in his hand as he rested his elbow on the windowsill, watching the arid landscape fly by as he tried to ignore the headache he was getting. Even with the bus’ air conditioning lightly blowing his hair out of his face, it was still hot and sticky and Jeff wished he’d brought the shorts that came with his uniform. Ness was sitting next to him, reading a comic book he’d picked up from the Threed drugstore, and Paula was asleep in the row across from them.
The heat was making him sleepy, but he didn’t want to fall asleep with their destination so soon, so to distract himself, he looks over Ness’ shoulder to see what he’s reading. Next to the superhero comic was a full-page advertisement for a video game he hadn’t heard of, the illustration featuring a boy with spiky red hair, a blonde girl, and a girl with glasses and a helmet in a large spaceship. Ness notices him looking and turns the comic so he can look, too.
“Do you think you could make something like that?” He pointed at the spaceship.
Jeff smiled a little.
“I could try. What’s the ad for? ”
“It’s this new game for the Super Nintendo. I think you’re this guy with a sword, and you go through time, or something? It looked cool, I saw an ad for it when I went to Blockbuster with my sister a few months ago, but it doesn’t come out for a while. My neighbor made fun of it, though. He says Nintendo’s for babies.”
Okay, now Jeff was interested. He and the other boys on his floor have had this argument about once every two weeks. “Everyone who has a Mega Drive says that, but even though Sega had 16-bit first, I still like Nintendo games better--”
He was cut off by Ness dropping the comic book and furiously shaking his shoulders. “Dude, no way! Why didn’t you tell me you liked video games sooner?! What games do you have?”
Ness and Jeff were halfway through an excited discussion about Super Star Wars when the bus came to a screeching halt. Both boys scrambled to look out the window, and besides the bright desert sands and the dusty highway, there were more cars than Jeff had ever seen in his life. That had to be the world’s-longest traffic jam.
After twenty minutes of not moving, Ness woke up Paula and they got off of the bus, and the heat of Dusty Dunes Desert hit Jeff for the first time.
He immediately regretted agreeing to walk the rest of the way to Fourside.
Because Jeff had spent his entire life in a place where it snowed year-round, he’d never felt heat like this before. It beat down on you, and his cheeks, though usually rosy to contrast his pale face anyway, were bright red. He’d already folded up the jacket to his uniform and kept it in his bag, but as he followed behind Ness and Paula, weaving through the stopped cars on the highway, he unbuttoned his sleeves of his dress shirt and rolled them up. That didn’t do anything at all.
The headache he’d gotten while on the bus had intensified, and he felt a little nauseated, and every time he looked at the sunlight reflecting off of the desert sands he had to close his eyes. He could vaguely hear Ness and Paula mentioning some kind of… slot machine… but he was more focused on putting one foot in front of the other. He was starting to get a little dizzy, now that he thought about it. Jeff closed his eyes one more time, trying to ignore his throbbing head.
When he woke up, he was on the wood floor of a cabin.
He tried to immediately sit up, his head throbbed in protest and he groaned, laying back down. The fuzzy figure of who could only be a sunburned Paula was above him. She probably took off his glasses.
“Morning, sleepyhead.” She joked lightly, clutching tightly to her teddy bear.
“What.. what happened?” Jeff slurred slightly, his accent thick with sleep. He put a hand over his face to find it was hot.
“You passed out big time. The guy who owns this house says it was sunstroke.”
Jeff made a noise and turned his head away from Paula, feeling guilty. “Sorry… I probably wasted a lot of time. We could’ve been in Fourside by now--”
“Jeff.” That was the tone that Paula used to reprimand any enemies or Jeff and Ness whenever they were being unreasonable. The tone of someone who had to handle rowdy preschoolers every day and not get paid for it.“You’re from a place that snows all the time! You probably haven’t been to a place where the temperature was above, like, 80.”
Jeff was too tired to convert that to Celsius. Paula got on her hands and knees and leaned over so Jeff was forced to look at her. “Am I right?”
“...Yeah. But I’m still sorry, anyway.” Jeff squinted up at Paula, and she handed him his glasses. He poked himself in the eye trying to put them on, rubbing his eye as he finally sat up straight. “Where’s Ness?”
As if on cue, the rickety door to the cabin opened and Ness walked in, carrying two large paper sacks.
“You both’re redder than a lobster!” He laughed, tossing Jeff something and he fumbled to catch it. It was a wet towel, which he gratefully put on his head. Much better. Ness also grabbed three Skip Sandwiches out of the bag, passing them out, then three bottles of water. He then sat in front of Jeff, crissed-crossed.
“And I have a special surprise for you, Jeff!” He said lightly, handing Jeff the bag. Confused, Jeff pulled out its contents: a red tee shirt with a pocket on the chest, and a pair of black shorts. “Your outfit totally sucks for the heat, and I saw some clothes in the drugstore, so I thought that’d be better. Maybe you won’t pass out on us again, huh?”
“Ness.” Paula had that tone again.
“Sorry.” Ness snickered, and Jeff stood up, thanking Ness, and quickly found the cabin’s bathroom to change. The clothes were a little big for his gangly frame, but he appreciated the thought too much to say anything. When he returned, Ness gave him a thumbs-up, and that was the end of it. Jeff still felt a little guilty for slowing them down, but he had to admit, it was nice to take a break and eat lunch together, even if they were on the splintery wooden floor of an old shack in the desert. If he had to get sunstroke and pass out in front of anyone, Ness and Paula were pretty good options.

A wrapped gift arrives at Chrome's door. An attached slip reads: "To Mr. Lebedev. I asked my Commander what to give someone who needs some color on their face. This is her suggestion. Rest assured what I've gotten you is of top quality. Warm regards, Cyrus." Inside is a deluxe makeup kit directly imported from Kalos.
Chrome was slightly confused when he opened the present and saw what it was. Was it delivered to the wrong person?
Tumblr media
Ah, well the slip cleared that up.
“I asked my Commander what to give someone who needs some color on their face.”
‘From one pasty bastard to another,’ Chrome murmured. He would have to give his counterpart something in return the next time they saw one another. Perhaps Banh Cyrus would like a bottle of wine.
In the meantime though, Chrome was certain that Rose would be very interested in getting to experiment with the makeup kit. So perhaps Chrome would indulge him in allowing himself to be dolled up.

Is it okay if I ask an ic ask? If yes: What is Porky's favorite food?
Unprompted asks | always accepting
His favorite food?  Oh man, where to start... though Porky tends to reserve eating for special occasions since it tended to make him sick to even attempt it nowadays.  Damn immortality.  Even if he had to deal with that, he still had some specific tastes in food.  He still hated steak.  he still had the typical tastes of a fat, 13 year-old Eagleland boy-- that would never change.  They weren’t exactly refined tastes because of that; that was more reserved for alcohol than anything else.
Tumblr media
❝Eh... I think if I wanna celebrate, I usually buy either a really good pizza or a really good burger, so probably one of those.  None of that cheap shit, I mean the good stuff.  I deserve to treat myself, you know?  Not like anyone else is gonna appreciate me for me.❞

Yo can we get Maxie saying "jinkies" or Cyrus just delivering flat sarcasm to the group (or just being completely and unnecessarily practical)?(Kicking myself over this Mystery Gang AU lol)
“C’mon, say it!”
“No.”
“Saaaayyyy it!”
“No!”
“Maxie.” Archie looks at him with what was supposed to be serious, if not for the biggest shit-eating smile on his face. “Maxie. C’mon. Please? For me?”
The redhead looks up from his book with a scrunched face, as if someone had fed him a fistful of especially sour gummies. “I said it one time, why is this so funny to you? And why would I do anything for you two?”
“Because one, it’s fuckin’ hilarious.” Guzma’s smile could rival Archie’s. “And two, because you loooove uuuussss.”
Cyrus snorts, not bothering to glance over from the typing on his laptop. “He loves you like how someone loves a hole in the head.”
Lysandre chokes, attempting to hide his chuckles in his foam cup of coffee, while Giovanni rolls his eyes as he sorts through his papers. “Girls, please, behave.”
Maxie only sighs, pushing the book to the side, levelling a glare at the two. “If I say it, will you leave me alone? Seriously?”
“Yeah, yeah, totally.” Archie grins, Guzma nodding alongside him.
Maxie leans back, groaning and rubbing his temples with his fingers. “Fine! Fine.”
A moment of silence. The two troublemakers smiling expectantly, as Maxie states in a flat tone.
“... Jinkies.”
Guzma cackles and wheezes of “holy shit I can’t breathe” and Archie’s bellowing laughter and slamming his fist on the table could be heard from outside the room.

@banhbeotim replied to your post “<p>That ATLA AU... I've never seen AA, but that art 0_o...”
His NaME Is QUinOa Im DED
Fun fact ! I played Platinum in Spanish, and when I reached my mans (spent a lot of time in Diamond doing double battles at the tower years before, I was impatient to see him again) and saw his name I just sat there like “there is no way I read that right”
For contrast, Byron’s name is Acerón, which sure, is basically just Stéel, but it at least Sounds cool
(Quinoa seriously,,,,,,,,)
Ooh okay he looks different without his usual blue outfit
Yeah, between the clothes and the (lack of) hair, Avatar Gen looks quite different from his canon counterpart. I tried mitigating it by having him grow his hair, and wear a blue bandana with frayed edges as sort of a reminder of his hat, but he definitely looks the least like himself out of all the characters I’ve redesigned yet
Most of the other characters I just changed their hair color to something more fitting of this verse haha
Is Lucario his pet? Like appa/momo?
As mentioned in the tags of this post, Lucario is Gen’s flying bison. He is to him what Appa is to Aang, a friend and companion, an animal guide, and the last living reminder of the Air Nomads and their culture
Basically you’re not wrong, but Lucario (and conversely Appa) is much, much more than just a pet
Gen tends to keep his pain internalized and to not bring up things that don’t sit well with him, but if he were to ever lose Lucario, that would definitely be his breaking point
And is Akagi traveling alone? Does he have an Uncle Iroh or he's a loner
Akagi is a 27 years old officer from one of the noblest families in the Fire Nation. Even if his grandfather felt like accompanying him on a personal, mostly self-imposed (for now) mission, Akagi would simply rebuke him
On the other hand, he has very loyal subordinates who share his desire to shape the Fire Nation into something even greater. Which is probably the very opposite of what someone like him needs, in that no one will tell him off for his more amoral and/or outlandish plans, but it’s what he has
(yes I have Plans for Akagi’s character once the story gets going)
On a more “emotional support” side of things, he mostly counts on his birds. Especially Don, a raven-eagle and the largest of Akagi’s various trained messengers. Don mostly stands near Akagi and looks scary to impressionable young recruits though. He’s only ever used as a messenger if there’s something big and/or precious to send
