It begins. Jörmy is going to get a tank upgrade. Because he is going to get his brother’s tank. And his brother Lucius is getting a PALACE curtesy of toad ranch and their amazing habitats!
This has already taken a month of work. Future progress pictures will come.

do you know what this morph is? https://www.tumblr.com/everythingfox/715079346245746688/funny-looking-banana-via?source=share
Link for everyone - it's a video of a ball python that looks like a banana.
I'm not 100% sure of the morph - it can be hard to tell with ball pythons because there are so many morphs. But I think this is a pastel acid pinstripe that's visual for low-expression piebald and probably also clown.
Acid pastel pinstripes are really similar, they look like this:
And this snake has a section of white near their tail; piebald can cause color/pattern changes so I wanna say that's what's happening here.
The patterning around the head makes me think there's also clown in there, pinstripe clowns look like this:
The only thing I'm certain of is that this is a designer morph with a lot thrown in, so it's probably going to be difficult to tell what exactly it is without the breeder's say-so. If anyone's better with bp morphs than I am, though, I'm interested to hear what you think it is!

Sooo I acquired a sweet new banana recently and just used serpwidgets to measure him (awesome app btw). He is 3 ft 5 in!!! So big!!!! I can’t wait to see Daisy in person again so I can measure her too.
His name is Gerard “Gerry” “Nana” “Nanners” “Bananaman” Nichols. He is very sweet, but not super used to people or just being a regular snake in general. With some work I think he’s gonna be a wonderful little man, and he’s already a great eater so I lucked out there!

Just because. In no particular order. I couldn't decide one for Muriel tho
Asra: I was thinking just Faust but there's a morph called Mystic Potion and I had to
Nadia: Sunset
Julian: Black Head Cinnamon Pinstripe (I think?? This pic is supposed to be one but the pattern doesn't look like a typical pinstripe)

there's been a lot of talk about ball python morphs that do wobble but what are some reccomendations for ones that Don't typically wobble? more ethical breeds that are aesthetically pleasing but not at cost to the snake's wellbeing
I can absolutely recommend some of my favorite wobble-free ball python morphs! Going to put my recommendations and pictures under the cut. :)
Honorable mention: plain ol normal! Nothing at all wrong with a normal ball python!
Albino: I'm biased, since my own sweet ball python is an albino, but it just doesn't get much better than this. I love those soft yellows.
Pied: a pied, or piebald, ball python just has big splashes of white! The amount of white can vary between almost none to almost a completely white snake!
Banana: one of the most popular morphs for a reason. These cuties get freckles as they grow up.
Axanthic: heck yeah? Heck yeah.
Pinstripe: For if you want a similar look to a spider, but it's a completely separate gene, so no wobble.
Mystic potion: one of my personal favorites. Frankly too pretty to be legal.
BLE: blue-eyed leucistic. White snake with blue eyes.
Similarly, a super fire: almost-white snake with black eyes and tiny yellow patches. You can find some with big yellow patches and some pure white ones, but they all have black eyes. Shows up in a snake that has two copies of the fire gene!
GHI: stands for "Gotta Have It." I mean, look at it!
Butter: the cutest babies. I just love that rich color.
Remember, though, if you don't like one of these - there are thousands of ball python morphs, so there's bound to be one you like out there!

I'm glad you're enjoying some cute ball pythons! Do you have a favorite morph or combo? Mine's axanthic x piebald, tho axanthic x anything is usually awful pretty.
axanthic is a good choice! personally i LOVE banana ball pythons, they're so colorful! my fav are the vivid bananas with hints of oranges and purples. for patterns im pretty fond of anything with pinstripe or similar cause i like how it breaks up the pattern and complements the shape of the snake. mojave is great tooball pythons are SO pretty!! the only morphs i don't like are the ones that cause actual problems for the snake tbh

Call for Photos
Hi all! I'm putting together a guide on how to identify common base morphs and I need your help!
I am looking for people willing to submit exceptional photos of specific single gene animals. I need multiple examples of the following genes:
Albino, Axanthic (please describe line), Banana/CG, Butter/Lesser, Black Pastel, Cinnamon, Enchi, Fire, Hypo, Mojave, Mystic/Phantom, Orange Dream, Pastel, Pinstripe HRA, Spider, and Yellowbelly.
SINGLE GENE ONLY! The photo must belong to you. You will receive credit in a caption on the guide, with a link to your facebook page, blog, or website (your preference).
To be clear, the photos must be focused, full body pictures with good lighting.
This guide is going to be a publicly accessible resource.
Thank you!!
even if you dont have these morphs, a boost can go a long way :)

Happy World Snake Day!!!!! Check out this dope picture of my baby boy Sqishy!!!!!!! He’s a Banana Pinstripe Yellowbelly Royal Python. That’s three separate genes in one GORGEOUS baby snakey!!! 😊😊😊😊😊 Here are some fun facts about Royal (Ball) Pythons courtesy of the internet! Fun Facts 1. These snakes are called ball pythons because of their defensive posture of coiling into a tight ball with their heads protected in the center of the coil. 2. The ball python, known scientifically as Python regius, is highly revered in some parts of Africa. It’s a python species that’s endemic to sub-Saharan Africa that thrives in warm, tropical regions. 3. The name royal python is believed to be derived from the fact that many African rulers were known to have worn live pythons as jewelry. 4. Ball pythons are non-venomous constrictor snakes that are the smallest of the African pythons. They have bold, blotchy patterning that helps to camouflage their bodies and reduce the risk of predation in the wild. 5. The royal python is America’s most popular pet snake. There are currently 5300+ ball python color morphs. Captive-born ball pythons are free of parasites and healthier than wild-caught snakes. 6. Ball pythons are believed to live the longest of snakes species in managed situations, with some individuals living into their forties.
