to be honest, i'd rather not have perryshmirtz be actually canon.

like, would it be cool? yeah! has DTVA been teasing it for months? yeah!

...would it also involve the perryshmirtz tag being filled with people going "eW WtF whYYY DisNeY i neEd eYebleAcH" [plaintext: "ew wtf whyyy Disney i need eyebleach] from people who haven't seen the show since they were ten? yes! that is 100% a thing that would happen!

and i don't want that to happen. sure, some people would have their "come to the dark side we have cookies" moment, but how many more won't? how many more will be harassing us for a ship? the pnf community is pretty chill with the whole "don't like don't read/YKINMKATO (Your Kink Is Not My Kink And That's Okay)/curate your space to your comfort and ignore/block what you don't want to see" thing but with the revival it's gonna get to a larger audience, and the larger the audience, the less nuance there is with that sort of thing.

i just want my subtext. let the ones who ship come to us.

Best part of the phineas and ferb special “night of the living pharmacists” is that it makes it super clear who everyone’s most beloved/favorites are by who reacts to who being zombified

Dr D - freaks out when Vanessa and Perry get turned

Phineas - freaks out losing Ferb, Isabella, and Candace (interestingly, not his parents lmao— and he didn’t think of Perry much but why would he know what it does to animals? I don’t think he ever realizes)

Buford - freaks out losing baljeet.

And they all get dramatic “Nooooo!” moments.

Other notable “look how much they care” moments include Isabella to the fireside girls, ferb to phineas and Isabella, Candace seeking out phineas and ferb.

One winter break morning started like non other, phineas Flynn and his step brother ferb fletcher sat in the backyard. Ferb wearing a black sweater with sewed on star’s and wrenches and such. Phineas on the other hand..did not want to wear a sweater or normally..pants. He wore what he usually worse since it wasn’t as cold for him. His shorts and striped shirt in the comfort of his own home too.

He swayed his arms up in the air huffing out as you could see his breath “ferb I don’t know what we’re gonna do today” he said shuffling himself to face his step-brother whome’s eyes were directed at phineas. The main course of attention, he smiled at sight, looking away as he played with his hands “ever wonder what it feels like to be a puppet?” He asks before.. ding! “Ferb, I know what we’re gonna do today!” He said swiftly jumping on his own two feet “we can turn ourselves into sentient marionettes!” He says with a wide smile as ferb struck a thumbs up “great!” He turned around and almost as if on que Isabella Garcia came in scene hair almost frizzy as her pink sweater was a little bigger than her. “Hey phineas, whatcha dooing?” She asks swooning a little, he turned his attention to her wide smile almost shining like the sun “We’re turning ourselves into marionettes!” He said “wanna join?” He asks tilting his head.

Isabella hummed a little walking towards her one and only beloved “sure!” She said happily stuffing her hands in pocket quickly. “Great!!” The red headed boy exclaimed arms quickly lifting in the air “get the gang and me and ferb will start!” He said turning around and running to grab his toolbox.

With one quick writing the hours quickly passed the Marionette machine was done. “Hmm felt pretty quick dont you think?” He asks ferb, who was just as confused. “Writers surely don’t have the time to get into detail perhaps?” The British said. Phineas gave ferb a very confused look, he obviously didn’t know what ferb meant by details or writers in this fact. But Before he could even speak, Buford interrupted “what is this dinnerbell?” Buford asks, “we’re turning ourselves into marionettes! Care to join, Buford?” He asks a little too eagerly as he waved his hands back and forth. Buford who was holding baljeet like a suitcase faced his gaze to baljeet “what’s our schedule.” Buford asks his nerd As Baljeet looked at a piece of paper “nothing” he said casually as if this was a normal occurrence to be held like a suitcase and be a simple calendar. “Great! Ok!..hey where’s Perry?” Phineas looks around raising an eyebrow in confusion.

Heinz doofenshmirtz laughing out maniacally as his nemesis was trapped “ahh Perry the platypus. As you see your bosses screen wasn’t working. Yea?” He asks cheekily leaning on Perry’s pretty spacious trap. Perry the teal platypus, raised an eyebrow at Heinz in ways to say ‘no shit Sherlock’

Heinz rolled his eyes playfully “well I introduce you, the GONE-WRONG-INATOR!” He yells, dramatically uncovering a brand new shiny inator “you see Perry the platypus, you were sleeping last time I monologued. I’ve always had bad luck. Also proven by my entire house exploding” he rambled out of context before snapping right back “besides that. I had given myself good luck for a day. Great by the way” he said chuckling “but I’ve decided why not give everyone a taste of everything they do going wrong!! What it’ll do is whatever they’re doing will go horribly wrong at that exact moment!” He said cackling. Putting his hands on his hips “but i am out of buttons so it’s just set at random shooting..” he sighed turning around “but it’s not like we haven’t shot random beams already!” He shrugged off. Perry rolled his eyes looking around of ways he could get out.

And atlas! There was. Heinz forgot to lock the cage. He swung the door open in a calm matter as Heinz turned his gaze “huh..” he let out, resting his chin on his hand “I knew I was forgetting something” he said eyelids lowering as if he’s feeling remorse for himself. Quickly he was kicked in the chest by a platypus. Letting out a grunt he was not letting this get him. He got right back up and grabbed Perry by the hands “you thought you got me this time hmmm Perry the platypus?” He said pinning the platypus to the floor. “Well not this time!!” He said chuckling out. Perry growled out trying his most to squirm out. Heinz being as tall as he is picked up Perry by the hands “watch as I cause pure chaos in the Tri-state area!!” He said walking to his inator and pressing a button. The inator powered up coming to life, turning its nob around and right to a neighbourhood.

Phineas was starting up the machine too ferb who was more then willing to become a puppet first. “Alright curb try not to- move?? To much!” He said happily.

He walked over to Buford baljeet and Isabella watching the machine warm up and prepare itself. Watching the machine with proud in his eyes he felt dread wash over him.

Something wasn’t right and it felt awful to phineas. The machine was perfectly ok but it felt wrong. “I’m..” he muttered out before walking over to ferb and pushing him out of the targeted ground “actually..something..” he proceeded to mumbled looking at the machine.. minutes..it would only take a press of a button to complete the process. But phineas felt lost about this dreading emotion “somethings wrong.” He said Turing his gaze to the rest of his friends. Buford and baljeet looked at each other concerned “just a second ago you were all happy about this” Buford proceeds “suddenly the vibe feels off-“ Buford adds placing baljeet down. Baljeet noted the thick atmosphere.

Phineas shrugged “I’ll just analyze the machine before we shoot ourselves with it . Make sure there’s a chance to turn back y’know?” He said.

Silence felt deafening. But before Isabella could mutter a word out a purple beam hit the machine catching everyone’s attention. The machine shook and let out zaps of electricity “that can’t be good” baljeet proceeded. The machine started breaking down which of course was not expected “I guess we could always make another I mean didn’t take me and ferb that l-“ interrupted by being shot by his own creation. And with of course an initial amount of fear because his machine was now in many random pieces “uh oh-“ he simply let out before shrinking in size.

He was now a perfectly fine marionette done with no way of turning back.

As long as I'm venting about Phinabella, here's a couple more thoughts:

I appreciate that Dan and Swampy and co. took the time to give us the Phinabella moments that they did in the season 4 specials, particularly AYA. They didn't have to, especially given that they had to know that not every fan would be happy with the results. I tip my hat to them for going there anyway, and the kiss at the end of AYA really was wonderful.

Having said that, the rest of my thoughts may be a tad less complimentary.

Phineas and Isabella deserve a quirky love song (or even just best friend song) duet where they get to be happy. As affecting as What Might Have Been was, it was so depressing! It was a whole meta duet about how they had both squandered their teenage years by not focusing on each other enough and not telling each other directly how they felt sooner. It hurt so much to hear and see, and frankly doesn't fit their characters. Particularly the part where Phineas sings about his summers being misspent, while we watch him focus on gadgets instead of on Isabella. This had the feel of the jerk boy who focuses on video games instead of his girlfriend, when in actuality, every one of his inventions was created to help or entertain his friends and family, especially Isabella herself!

What if they had a duet where they explain to each other how much they mean to each other, and talk about all the things they have done for each other over the years, revealing the love they had tried to show through action, that wasn't recognized at the time? What if that happened in the context of wondering why Phineas has the emotional bravery badge?

If AYA stays canon, something like the fic Pairing Up Time is the retcon Phineas and Isabella deserve. Also if they are doomed to not figure out their relationship on their own, if someone has to meddle, plenty of fics out there demonstrate quite compellingly that Ferb or Buford or even Candace would be excellent choices for who should be the catalyst in making Phinabella reality. Not Baljeet. Not in an offhand comment. Not like that.

I love the idea of Phineas and Isabella both confiding in Candace and turning to her for advice as they grow up. I love the idea of Ferb being both of their ultimate wingman and agent of chaos/man of action as he gets tired of their emotional flailing, such as in the fic "this is about a girl, isn't it?" I like the idea of Isabella confiding in Buford, and him providing tough yet tender counsel and perspective. Any of these 3 characters would provide a much more compelling and meaningful catalyst than Baljeet did in AYA.

With what I'm describing above, I feel like this could be turned into something of a slow burn story, and it would be wonderful. I know this is incredibly unlikely to happen, but would anyone else watch a spinoff show or miniseries just following these kids growing up? I'm imagining something in the vein of Boy Meets World. I would watch the heck out of that series!

no because even though there's so many things I dislike about aya there is one thing. one thing that absolutely baffles me every time. I get that this was meant to be a cutesy lowkey depressing rom-com esque episode but WHAT.

when Phineas finds out from Nana Shapiro that Isabella is leaving that day for college, he immediately runs to the restaurant and when Vivian tells him that she left already, walks back home dejectedly.

the most obvious problem in that moment (for me, at least) was that Phineas Flynn, extraordinary inventor, our "the only thing that's impossible is impossibility!" dude, just went "oh no she's gone ig I'll never get to tell her that I'm in love with her too :(" I think that might just be me but that has always seemed out of character to me. but then-

may I remind you that Phineas and Isabella canonically have cellphones? BOTH OF THEM. technically, couldn't Phineas just have called Isabella and asked her to come back and see him before leaving so he could talk to her privately instead of the sequence we got instead (not necessarily complaining about Isabella coming back on her own and the little "oh my gosh it's you" longing stares we got but they could've had them reunite quicker with potentially more screen time for the confession)?

but even then. Baljeet used his cellphone during aya I'm-

now I'm not saying that the kiddos would voluntarily put themselves in the path of Isabella's rage by telling her that they kinda sorta let one of her biggest secrets spill but seeing that almost everyone was acting out of character in this episode anyways they actually could've gone down that road if they wanted to Baljeet really couldn't have called Isa or texted her? just a simple 'hey phineas wants to talk to you about something' instead of having all the gang go and plan a date without Phineas and Isabella's inputs?? he really couldn't???

basically in short they all have cellphones and they could've just used them to directly communicate to each other this entire time and ajbdkahfkahfm thank you MML for rendering the timelines so that this was just one confession possibility

OH ALSO I had an idea where Candace teaches Phineas and Ferb how to drive (which you would think wouldn't be necessary cause of all their driving space ships and stuff but driving a normal car without any tech is HARD) and how cute that would be. And like, you'd think Phineas would be a speed demon and bad at driving but its actually Ferb who wants to go like 90 in a 45 and Phineas has driving anxiety and is actually so SO careful. I just wanted to tell you about that that's all <3

You and me are on the same wavelength forever and ever, my friend!!!

Listen, remember "My Ride from Outerspace?" Ferb is like that with a normal car all the time! His speeding is worst than anyone else in the family, AND he's always his friend groups chauffeur, unfortunately. He and Isabella split the difference, actually. The boy is a man of action, and his action is trying to go faster than the speed of light in a regular, non-modefied station wagon. Because of this, Linda and Lawrence have forbade him from getting a motorcycle.

You're completely right, Phineas is the most careful with major anxiety, he won't even have the radio on just in case he gets distracted. (Ferb always has his on full blast, Isa has her radio on a normal volume, Buford listens to podcasts in different languages when he's on his electric scooter, and Baljeet alternates between academic lectures and full blown, full bass hard rock.) Phineas is the most careful and drives like a little old lady, which actually little old ladies of Danville find annoying as hell.

Candace is such a backseat driver when teaching her brothers, she's trying her best to be supportive, really. She starts with Phineas parallel parking in front of the house, like Lawrence did with her, and it's the most careful, slowest, tiny adjustments, parallel parking of her life. Ferb does it in one go, perfectly, but somehow there are fast tire marks on the asphalt.

Perry is in the backseat with whoever isn't driving at the moment, because for some reason the mindless platypus wouldn't let them leave without him. (Perry wants to see his kids succeed! He missed a lot of big Candace moments like this because of OWCA, he refuses to miss any of Phineas or Ferb's!) He almost breaks cover twice, once when Phineas was driving, just to sign to tell him to speed up, once when Ferb was driving, so he could write a new Will, just in case!

rewatching pnf season 1 and here are some of the neurodivergent highlights!

“obsession rocks!!!” said at a moment when candace and stacy were gleefully bonding over their love of the bettys. the joy of new hyperfixation!!!!

“fossils! dun dun dun…” my man lawrence vocal and audio stimming let’s go!

perry crashes in, heinz doesn’t react, perry goes over to heinz and pokes him in the nose, revealing heinz is an inflatable decoy. perry immediately pokes the inflatable nose several more times! autism is stored in the platypus

jeremy tells candace he’ll call her soon, so cancace goes into waiting mode the next morning and tries to find the exact meaning of “soon.”

candace (scared of heights) on a ferris wheel. jeremy asks her what’s wrong and candace wordlessly indicates the drop. she contonues not to speak after jeremy comforts her. loss of speech!

phineas usually displays empathy, but when buford loses biff, phineas shows annoyance and doesn’t seem to empathize. nevertheless, he helps buford both with emotional support and by working to solve the problem. this is because i’m projecting fluctuating empathy onto him and also because empathy ≠ kindness.

baljeet owns a lot of books on a seemingly uninteresting topic (shoelaces). conclusion- he fixated on the topic in the past and got all the information he could find at once!

one of dr. d’s schemes is entirely because he considers the noise outside his building to be too loud and he can’t concentrate. he gets off-topic in conversation and apologizes, blaming his lack of focus on the noise. it’s harder to act neurotypical when you’re sensory overloaded, ok?

at one point heinz tells perry that there’s a tin cup inside his cage for him to play with, specifically because of the sound it makes. perry proceeds to move this tin cup around for a while.

vanessa sensory overloaded by the sound of heinz building vs heinz making incoherent sounds while he builds (vocal stimming!). in a different episode vanessa uses earbuds to deal with her dad making noise.

honorable mention: stacy and candace reading all of sherlock holmes in one night / dressing as the characters the next day

this is kind of a cursed headcanon depending on how you feel about sexuality in the context of children's media properties but I did just have a burst of inspiration about the Phineas and Ferb future, and I feel compelled to write it down

It's really easy for me to read Phineas as asexual, given his just like total lack of interest in girls or boys compared to the other boys in the cast, who all have various moments of immature attraction to one person or another. Baljeet has his christmas kiss thing, Buford has some kind of weird partial crush on Candace, Ferb likes Vanessa, etc. Phineas seems to like romance for other people, but not be very driven to think about it in terms of himself.

On the other hand, Isabella has a very active fantasy life and knows her own desires thoroughly, and she's still interested in dating & in Phineas when we see her as a mature teen. So she pings to me as allosexual.

So if they get together in college, I'm imagining that Phineas is super inexperienced compared to Isabella. Isabella has probably dated some other people after she gave up on waiting around for him, and I imagine she isn't shy about asking for what she wants from a partner. More than likely you end up with a situation where Phineas is Ready to Try Anything Once, ever enthusiastic for new experiences, but mostly approaching the topic of having sex for the first time as an interesting new thing to do (with Isabella who he loves spending time with.)

The problem with sex is that, like, man if you're not attracted to someone it's really hard to stay engaged. It's a lot of repetitive motion on hip and hand muscles that don't get a lot of workout otherwise, and I mean Phineas probably has decent finger strength given he's a machinist, but it's still a lot the first time you have to do it.

So he's losing steam, increasingly bored, distracted, and I'm gonna be honest with you that's not an ideal state for someone trying to maintain an erection. I told you this thought was a little cursed, I'm sorry, I warned you. Anyway, you've got Isabella increasingly frustrated because this is always how it is with her and Phineas, he gets distracted and she feels inadequate. I imagine she probably says some mean things out of frustration. But they're dating now, which means they have to fucking communicate. So after Isabella has a chance to cool down and realize she was being a bit of a dickhead, they sit down and talk it out. Phineas wants to make her happy, but he's really not into the sex thing and he doesn't think trying again is going to fix the essential problem. Isabella is into the sex thing, but more than anything she just wants to be with Phineas. For any average couple this would probably end with "okay, we just don't have sex" and roll credits.

But this is Phineas Flynn. He doesn't settle for average. He is going to build the best and coolest and most tricked out sex machine ever, with 600 vibration settings and self-heating gel and a back-massager built in. And it's a little weird, but Isabella is happy because in the end, Phineas is still holding her hand :) sitting six inches to the left of the world's horniest fuckmachine :) monitoring the settings

Hello! and Welcome to this blog!

(sorry if the picture doesn't look good lol i suck at traditional art and i didn't have access to my digital medium for drawing at the time.)

This is a blog dedicated to an AU but not just any AU, its a blog dedicated to a phineas and ferb AU in particular like lets say maybe-possibly Phinbella couldn't happen some way in the episode Act your Age and Baljeet somehow ended up having a crush on phineas which led to them dating and hitting it off(and lets be hinest here they would totally work) and which then led to them starting a life of their own? Well this AU is here to explore just that!

And for the reasons being 1. I and some others ship Phinjeet. 2. I see waay too much phinbella in the fandom like im not even trying to hate on the ship or shippers it can just get tiring when a fandom ships and bases most ship content on just one ship plus just a few two others like e.g bujeet and perryschmirtz.

Now im trying to make this quick so let me speedily introduce everybody

SOPHIE TJINDER FLYNN

A 14 year old girl who has a rather calm or in her own words chill personality. Like phineas she doesn't freak out even if bad stuff happens and tends to just stay calm and go with the flow. She's also pretty nice for the most part.Her favorite thing to do is performing stunts which rarely ever fail because she calculates them pretty well. Another one of her hobbies is reading Physics books and solving math and calculations. And surprise surprise shes also REALLY smart.

CJ (CANDACE JUNIOR) TJINDER FLYNN

Named after her aunt candace due to her having a similar head shape, being a red head and also having blue eyes. She is a 16 year old girl that rather freaks out a lot at the smallest of shit as she inherited that trait from baljeet. She is neat and organized plus has a lot of health problems since she was a child plus has a lot of allergies which includes dairy. She is extremely health and safety over-conscious, carries a sanitizer with her wherever she goes and refuses to go outside most times. Her hobby is reading sci-fi comics,playing video-games and watching scifi movies and cartoons. She is also very emotionally attached to her dads since childbirth due to her having health issues and having to stay by their side for a long time and spends most of her time with them even when they might oppose at times part of the reason why she refuses to leave the house. Her nickname is also Candy.

JASMINE TJINDER FLYNN

A 15 year old girl who has a- um how do i describe this? Like she acts like an edgy teenager kind of personality. She can sometime be a tad bit mean and is also goth as well and doesn't really express much emotions most times although she does still have her moments. Her hobby is writing stories and songs and she also enjoys listening to music and playing it.Her nickname is also Jazz.She is also a HUGE grammar nazi and will not hesitate to correct any grammatical mistakes anyone makes no matter the situation.And well yeah thats it...

ANNABELLE TJINDER FLYNN

A rather aggressive girl for a 6 year old. She gets angry or frustrated very easily and when she does its really funny and cute because her cheeks puff up and her whole face turns to match the colour of her hair lol. She can also be sarcastic a lot of the time and a bit rude but is still nice. Her favorite activity is playing sports(any kind). She is also really well behaved and doesn't really go against rules apart for the occasional times where she breaks a couple stuff while playing sports. The twins also like purposely annoying her for shits and giggles.Her nicknames are Ann, Annie, Anna, Red, Firecracker.

LYNN AND MARILYN TJINDER FLYNN(THE TWINS)

The 10 year old twins are a handful thats for sure and they are pretty much basically reverse phineas and ferb in the sense that they usually fight(but still get along) and are always getting busted no matter how much they try to hide their messes. They can't build for shit but they still throw random stuff together as a result of inspiration from their dad and Uncle Ferb which usually ends in explosions or property destruction of some kind. They work as a duo and usually get into fights with either each other or Annabelle. They both have a lot of things in common especially the fact that they're both silly goof offs but they have parallel insterests like Lynn being a tomboy is more interested in "boyish stuff" as she would put it while Marilyn is interested with things she considers to be girly.

PHOEBE TJINDER FLYNN

A 5 year old girl that is rather odd to say the least. She talks A LOT which mostly includes infodumping people about the history of art or the life stories of some famous artists not forgetting to push her glasses up before doing so along the way. She is a huge fan of Leonardo Da Vinci and takes in Phineas's creativity. She is also a really nice and obedient girl who doesn't really cause trouble. She is frequently seen doing weird stuff all in the name of art like i dunno shit that phineas himself has done like maybe bringing in a gigantic baby head to supposedly use for her creations something like that.She also enjoys reading books about art or famous artists no matter how boring they may seem and she is also REALLY good at art for a 5 year old like im talkin she creates Da Vinci tier art.Her nickame is Pheebs.

God this is definately the most ''different" thing i've done thats for sure lol i don't even really expect to even get any questions at all but what the heck, its good to try am i right?

Really really bad AU sorta crossover thing that I was ashamed of the moment I thought of it

Detective Conan but Phineas And Ferb

I reason I ended up thinking this up is because I was thinking about Detective Conan while listening to music and Us Against The Universe from the Phineas And Ferb Candace Against The Universe came up and my first thought was that both shows have 5 main kids and that was the only connection but my brain still went from there.

This is Detective Conan characters being put into Phineas And Ferb because I have no idea how it would work the other way around.

Obviously,

Conan and Ai take the place of Phineas and Ferb, Ayumi takes the place of Isabella, Genta and Mitsuhiko take the place of Buford and Baljeet.

Those are the 5 kids but my brain said we could do more.

Either Ran or Sonoko take the place of Candace, whoever doesn't takes Stacy's place. And again, depending on who takes Candace's place, probably either Shinichi or Makoto takes Jeremy's place(I think Conan and Shinichi would probably have to be separate people here).

And here is where my brain stopped working, mostly because I forgot most of the other Phineas And Ferb characters but also because dinner was done and I wanted to eat.

Why did I even write this? Why did I even think this? I don't know but I also suddenly got the urge to share it with everyone who sees it.
