Fake News Alert
Is Germany's Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock really a traitor, doesn't care about Germans and works for Ukraine?
What happened?
Germany's Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock attended the 26th annual Forum 2000 Conference in Prague. She also was part of a podium discussion where she talked about Ukraine, Germany and the German support.
Later, Russian Propaganda Accounts and Kremlins published a ~54s long clip (it also exists a shorter (~30s) clip), claiming that Baerbock is a traitor, doesn't care about Germans. They also claim that Baerbock works for the Ukrainians and admits it in this clip.

So, is it true?
No.
The published clip was only a part of Baerbock's answer, so it was edited. It was also highly taken out of context - cutting away her explanations.
The whole answer can be found here (German subtitles, she speaks English in the clip):

Why is Annalena Baerbock a target for Russian Propaganda?
Since the outbreak of war, she stands with Ukraine, supports them in several speeches, condems Russia and Russian war crimes She also received lots of praise for a very clear, honest and frank communication as well as several remarkable speeches. Baerbock is also advocating for support and weapons. An especially remarkable positions, since her party (Die Grünen / The Greens) are known for their "no weapons" stance and not involving Germany in other conflicts. Baerbock was also one of the first German politicans who advocated for Ukraine to receive EU candidate status.
She was also on the first high-ranking German officials who visited President Zelenskyy in Kyiv before Chancellor Scholz' visit.
In the past, she also stood up against Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov, warned about Nordstream 2 and the German depency on Russian energy / coal / oil / gas, already supported Ukraine and condemned Russia and their actions since 2014.
Her party also has a history of supporting Ukraine. They condemned the annexation in 2014, warned about energy depency, critized Nordstream 2, spoke out against Putin several times and advocated in the past to support and help Ukraine more.
Currently, she's also one of the most loved and popular politicans in Germany. Many Germans support her actions. She was one of the Chancellor candidates during the last election, but lost since her party didn't get the majority in votes. After Chancellor Scholz was appointed to office, he received much critism, especially during the war in Ukraine and his stance and actions. Because of that, Baerbock gained support and love from Germans.

„Erkenne dich selbst“ bleibt eine vergebliche Aufforderung an die meisten Mitbürger. Besonders in der Politik – wo es um Geld und Macht geht – bleibt dies ein vergeblicher Appell; da tummeln sich eher Paradebeispiele für das Dunning-Kruger Syndrom. Continue reading Untitled

German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock publishes a video to congratulate Ukraine on their Independence Day
Germany's Foreign Minister Baerbock posted a video, sending congratulations to Ukraine. The video was published with Ukrainian subtitles.
In the first part of the video she talks about the current reality - many Ukrainians not being able to celebrate peacefully and with their friends and family. Baerbock says, that Germany mourns with the families too. She continues: With its brutal war of aggression, Russia is trying to destroy everything that this day stands for - safety, peace and freedom. She emphasizes, that this is Ukraine's land. Adding, that Ukraine has - like any other country in the world - the right sie decide their future in their own.
Baerbock pays tribute to the courage of Ukrainian and their fight for "common values" and a "common European peace order". She adds, that Germany is standing strongly with Ukraine - today, on this Independence Day, and every following Independence Day.
Repeatedly she also addresses Ukrainiana as "Europeans".
German Chancellor Scholz' government, of which she's part of, has been under constant critism since the start of the war. Scholz and main parts of his governments got critized for how they're dealing with the war, mainly because of an Pro-Russian approach, appeasing Putin, lacking support in the past and currently and not delivering or delaying weapon deliveries. Surprisingly so, Scholz published a video to congratulate Ukraine, finding strong words of support and promising more help. The video and more about the critism can be found here.
Foreign Minister Baerbock was most of the times not part of that critism. Since the outbreak of war, she stands with Ukraine, supports them in several speeches, condems Russia and Russian war crimes and is advocating for support and weapons. An especially remarkable positions, since her party (Die Grünen / The Greens) are known for their "no weapons" stance and not involving Germany in other conflicts. Baerbock was also one of the first German politicans who advocated for Ukraine to receive EU candidate status. In early summer, parts of an interview with her received lots of attention. In the excerpts it sounded like that she hinted a possible stop or decrease of German support due to a possible energy crisis in winter, including no more weapons for Ukraine. Germany is largly dependent on Russian energy, gas, coal and oil. As it later turned out, these parts of the interview had been taken out of context.
She was also on the first high-ranking German officials who visited President Zelenskyy in Kyiv before Chancellor Scholz' visit.
Her party also has a history of supporting Ukraine. They condemned the annexation in 2014, warned about energy depency, critized Nordstream 2, spoke out against Putin several times and advocated in the past to support and help Ukraine more.
The Greens are currently part of the German government, next to SPD (Chancellor Scholz' party) and the FDP.
