Okay, so I’ve never really seen people talk about how bad the English voice acting in the Dual Destinies and Spirit of Justice cutscenes is (although tbh it’s mostly DD, SoJ’s is a bit better). I wouldn’t necessarily encourage you to watch the cutscenes if you haven’t played the games bc there’s probably plenty of spoilers, but if you have played the games or don’t care about spoilers, please go watch them again. They bring me so much joy.

But for those of you who are familiar and feel the same way I do about them, allow me to introduce you to Case Trailers.

They are short previews of every case in the Apollo Justice Trilogy and this was the first one I saw:

So I literally tried to watch Amber Heard's new movie In The Fire and it was so boring I turned it off halfway through. Also, watching Amber Heard try to act is like watching teenage girls in a school play try to act, and think their killing it.

No wonder she doesn't (and definitely won't now) get big Hollywood movie roles. I 100% percent believe Johnny got her the role in Aquaman. No way she got it on her own lol. She sucks.

Henry Cavill is a bad, boring actor

IDG his appeal beyond being good looking, he should've just been a model. I've never seen him do anything not bland. Like in the Witcher, the guy playing Jaskier and the woman playing Yennefer act circles around him. He's not even 'so bad it's good' he's just so boring. The actual game version of the witcher is more expressive than him. He was also the most boring part in The Man from U.N.C.L.E and Armie Hammer(despite being a creep apparently) and Alicia Vikander and Elizabeth Debicki out-act him easily.

Audiobook reader of the Demon King is killing me slowly. Her voice is so good at the narration where she has an American accent but for some reason she decided to try different vaguely English sounding accents for most of the characters??? It’s a fantasy world so alright but … she’s so bad at it. A character will start speaking with a BBC accent that slowly slides in to cockney and slips out the other end as Australian, sometimes with a brief hint of Scottish. And there’s literally no reason for it. Most of the characters with this bizarre accent so far are stand ins for native Americans and Appalachian folk. She could have just not. I don’t know if I can survive three books of this.

Does this whole car crash scene not look almost exactly like the car crash scene in Devils Trap (the s1 finale)?? Like, they can't come up with anything on their own... jfc. And why did they make their vampires so... over the top and cliche?? One thing about vamps in spn was they were so human passing. Yea they were rough and all, but this feels like caricatures of spn vamps. You can hear Rich's voice in there too and I know LS is supposed to be in this ep and I tried to pause on the band and see if it was them but the two background guys playing guitar are wearing wigs that may be worse than that Sam finale wig and I can't tell who they are. Then showing someone warming their hands over the fire (of what is presumably a burning body) much like Aaron (Adam Rose) commented on the brothers doing in Everybody Hate Hitler. And the dialogue... jfc they need to fire all the writers... I mean, "there's a monster out there who needs hunting, lets go hunt"? RIVETING.

Is there a way for a train wreck to get worse? I mean, wow! And there are how many more episodes? This show should not have made it past the prepaid six episodes. (Technically, it shouldn't have been made at all, but unfortunately we're beyond that now.)

The acting alone is terrible. All the lines are delivered with the most uninterested tone, and, like you've shared, there are no original ideas: "You sing a song tonight, someone burns, and the curse is lifted?" Um... that's pretty much the plot of BTVS Once More With Feeling (though the curse wasn't lifted until the person didn't burn.)

No matter how much they try and make it like Supernatural, or Buffy, or Scooby-Doo, it will never be any of those because they're trying too hard to imitate successful shows that their own show fails to have it's own identity. The sooner TW is canceled, the sooner the fandom can move on and pretend it never existed.

So in order to get this excruciating scene with Harry and Florence, it took at least two combined takes, as his hair changes position between the cuts and whoever was doing continuity was clearly like fuck it, these are the only two vaguely decent ones we had so put it together like this.
