I love how Dani said that they got a baby and how excited she was. Because she's right, they're family, and that baby is going to be so loved. I wish we got a scene where JT tells everyone but we were robbed.

Found family! Found family! They are absolutely their family and baby tarmel will be so loved. They were all so excited!

We probably didn’t have a scene where JT tells them because Frank Harts (JT) had to be on quarantine for possible exposure to covid so he could not film the episode.

JT and Malcolm:

I don’t think that JT meant to insult Malcolm, he did have legit concerns. Malcolm is a good boy but he doesn’t sleep, suffers from night terrors, doesn’t eat, doesn’t have stable relationships outside of his work or his immediate family, doesn’t have any friends, has a complete disregard for his personal safety, and has no real control over his own life besides his work and obsession with murder. These are some seriously big things that can’t be overlooked- JT is scared that if he doesn’t turn out like the perfect father- his child might suffer the same fate as Malcolm- he respects and likes Malcolm, but he is an example of what happens when a father destroys their family. While that would never happen, JT is a good man who loves his wife and would never screw up being a dad, he also probably has Malcolm’s mantra in the back of his mind- “We’re not born broken, we’re made” and that is an Adult Fear I can understand.
