In your own opinion, what would think ARC-V's version of Jack Atlas' thoughts of he were to ever meet Yusei Fudo from 5Ds and witness his deck?

Okay so this is where it gets fun I'm not actually fully thinking I'm just writing this.

So, considering Arc-V's shit writing is on the table here the Crimson Dragon actually has some ties to Arc-V Jack for some fucking reason, therefore I can say that Arc-V Jack has some cosmic ties to 5Ds Jack, bigger proof is that he was friends with Crow like 5Ds.

So, we have a Yusei who's very much alone in this scene who is confused that Jack is acting weirdly and is pretending not to know him, and let's presume that this is final 5D's Yusie or at least like past Dark Signer's Yusie, he's stubborn and motivated, wants to know what's going on and wants to wake Jack up from whatever made him forget him and thier life together, so he challenges Jack for a duel, as per Yugioh tradition a duel reveals true intentions of the heart and strengthens friendship bonds.

And Jack is very confused cause to him there is this very crazy sounding but really really familiar stranger in front of him, and he's very curious and wants to duel can feel Yusei's power and familiarity there's a strange fragile bond there. So he accepts he's a bit enthusiastic but doesn't show it at all, he acts royal and arrogantly as per usual for Jack.

They duel, and the more they duel more and more familiar feelings starts to manifest. Now considering ARC-V Jack's decision and rise to power was to build himself from where he was he sees Yusei's cards the "Junk Warriors" and understands Yusei build himself up too, rose from the junk and harshness of his life and made power from weak cards, so now you have respect from Arc-V Jack, which rises all the more as Yusei wins (possibly like in 5Ds where they go through whatever Crimson Dragon Fuckery where they went to the past/ other dimension or something, this will take more thinking honestly)

So now Arc-V Jack is curious and accepts Yusei staying with him o understand what's going on, wants to know Yusei more cause now whatever fragile bond there was got stronger to the point that it feels like he's known Yusei all his life, and there is nothing that's gonna stop him from understanding this stranger and strangeness that he carried with him. There is an odd acceptance in his soul in his dragon.

That's basically how I think it would (should) go

@violent-kurumi I have only chosen the opining hands for Yuri and Yuto and I'd happily announce that while yes Yuri could disturb Yuto's plays considering he has Quick Spells to add predacounters Yuto has enough comeback ability in his deck to return his monsters to the field and Xyz summon. So really given the chance yes it would be really possible for Yuto to beat Yuri, so I am hopping to get at the very least a six turn duel or more until I can get Yuto to the emotional state I need him to be. If anyone wants to ask me anything on @ice-queen-rin or @azure-witch13 please ask and make my day <3

Eh, this year is just shit for me. I know other people have worse off but it's hit me hard.

My family pets are passing away, I don't know why so many this year, they're all going due to old age, though two of them did have cancer for a while (is it a coincidence? I dunno). It's just been a lot more death these past months.

As sad as it is, I'm dealing with it.

Hmm, I grew up with anime, we had a channel called Spacetoon that would just dub anime.

I've watched HunterXHunter, Code Geass, Death Note, Dragon Ball, Z, Super... Fullmetal Alchamist both 03 and Brotherhood, (Does Castlevanial count?) these are like the ones at the top of my head

Yu-Gi-Oh! 2021 Rules Update

Have you guys heard? The OCG rules have been updated to the TCG a few days back.

The following rule updates & clarifications (some of which have already been in effect) are in effect at in-person and remote duel events at all levels. These will be incorporated into an upcoming rulebook update.

Fusion, Synchro, and Xyz Monsters can be first Summoned from the Extra Deck to any of your Main Monster Zones. They do not have to be Summoned to the Extra Monster Zone or a spot that a Link Monster is pointing to. You can still Summon a Fusion/Synchro/Xyz Monster from the Extra Deck to your Extra Monster Zone if you want to, though. (The restrictions requiring an Extra Monster Zone or Link Monster pointing still apply to Link Monsters and Pendulum Monsters that are Summoned from the Extra Deck.)

If a monster’s Trigger Effect meets its activation conditions, BUT hasn’t yet had a chance to actually activate yet (because it’s still in the middle of a chain or card effect, for example) and is therefore being “saved for later”, BUT its location* changes between the time its Trigger Effect activation is met, and the time it actually has a chance to activate, its effect does not activate. [*On the field, in the Graveyard, in the hand, banished, or in the Deck.]

The restriction of “you cannot Normal or Special Summon the turn you activate this card” only refers to monsters that were successfully summoned. Same for “you can only Special Summon X once per turn” restrictions.

Trap Monsters that say “This card is also still a Trap.” do not occupy both a Monster Zone and a Spell & Trap Zone. They are only in the Monster Zone (where the card actually is) and do not take up a Spell & Trap Zone.

Page 51 of the rulebook, under “Leaves the Field”: “When a monster on the field is shuffled into the Main Deck, or becomes an Xyz Material, it is no longer a card on the field, however its effects that activate when it “leaves the field” will not activate.” “Main Deck” should be “Deck” (and therefore also includes the Extra Deck).

The more he tries to stay in control, the more he slips into a state where he acts like a machine after all, he was crafted to be a tool and he can’t turn into a fragile, emotional human now.
