MASTERLIST
Outlaws
Run, run like the devil's behind us
Run to where no one can find us
[...]
Run 'cause we're guilty as sin
Run 'cause we know we won't win
[...]
You'll never face a judge without me
You'll never battle the gavel alone
And if they lock us away
Then I'll be still here, proudly waiting to kill more time
With you
“Dean, pull over.” Said Sam, all of a sudden. They had been traveling back from Rivergrove in silence, each thinking of the very weird night on their own. Emily had ended up shedding a couple of tears earlier, while Sam was sleeping: Dean had glared at her through the rearview mirror, but didn’t say anything. Sam’s words were almost the first sound that was heard since then.
“What?” Answered Dean, still very focused on the road.
“We need to talk, pull over.” Seeing that Sam was insisting, Dean raised his eyebrows and slowed the car down next to the river. Sam was the first one to rush out of the car, so nervous Emily could feel his emotions crawl inside of her.
The more the time passed, the weirder their power became. It started out as just being able to mentally communicate with each other, but in just a couple of days it quickly evolved in feeling some of his emotions. She could only guess it also happened the other way around. As exhausting as it was, there seemed to be no way of escaping it.
She didn’t get out of the car right away. By the time Sam was out of the vehicle, Dean was looking back at her, looking for an explanation.
“I don’t know, don’t look at me.” Emily exhaled. Dean got out of the car as well, sighing. Sam walked back to the car and knocked on his sister’s window.
“You coming or what?” He asked, impatient. Rolling her eyes, Emily climbed over the seats and got out. She leaned on the fence that was dividing them from the river. Dean did the same, but faced the river instead of the street. Sam stood in the middle of them.
“So. Last night. You want to tell me what the hell you were talking about?” He said, looking at Dean. Emily glared at him, but he didn’t reciprocate.
“What do you mean?” Asked Dean, promptly opening a beer Emily didn’t even notice he had grabbed.
“What do I mean? I mean you said you were tired of the job. And that it wasn't just because of Dad.”
“Forget it.”
“Forget it?!” Repeated Emily, frustrated. “Forg- Dean, you can’t pull that crap and then say forget it! Talk.”
“Come on man, I thought we were going to die, you can't hold that over me.”
“Stop calling me man and dude, com-” Sam gestured her to let it go and she lowered her voice, muttering profanities to both her brothers. With a nervous glare, Sam went back to the conversation with Dean.
“Talk. Now.”
“And what if I don't?”
“Then I guess I'll just have to keep asking until you do. Or maybe I’ll just tell Emily to go all out on you. I’m sure she’d love to punch you right now.”
“Not just now. Most of the time.” She commented.
“So you wanted to punch me even while I was dead? Because I heard otherwise.”
“Bite me, Dean! You know what, you-”
“GUYS!” Interrupted Sam.
“I can't tell you. I promised.” Dean scowled at Emily while he kept his conversation with Sam.
“Who?”
“Dad.”
Emily scoffed, shaking his head. Dean saw her.
“Hey!” He said. “You have something to say about dad?”
“Oh, trust me. Plenty of things.” Emily didn’t turn to look at him and instead ruffled in her pockets to get out the wrinkled pack of cigarettes she had in her jacket. “But it’s probably better if I shut the fuck up.”
“Where are those from?” Asked Dean, visibly annoyed, pointing at the cigarette she was lighting up.
“The gas station.” She raised her eyebrows. “What? You have whiskey, I have this. Give me a break.” Dean and Sam shook their heads, but kept going with their conversation as Emily smoked.
“Dean, What are you talking about? What did dad say to you?”
Dean hesitated for a moment, catching Emily’s attention as well.
“He said that he wanted me to watch out for you, to take care of you. Both of you.”
“He told you that a million times.” Answered Sam.
“Not about me.” Guessed Emily with a sigh.
“I’m sure he-” “No, Sammy, she’s right.” Dean cut his brother short very soon. “That was a first.” He quickly gazed at Emily, who looked back at him and nervously took a long puff of nicotine and exhaled, sad. “But that’s not all he said. He said that I had to save you.”
“From what?” Asked Emily, almost outraged.
“He didn’t say.”
“Dean.” Emily pointed an accusative finger at him, the cigarette still between her index and middle finger, sure he was lying.
“He didn’t say!” He repeated. “But he did say that if I couldn’t save you, I’d have to kill you.”
“Kill us?” Asked Sam, interrupting Emily before she could start swearing at Dean. “What is that supposed to mean?”
“I don't know.” Dean exhaled.
“I’ll explain it to you, Sam.” Said Emily, sarcastic. “Dad probably thought we’re supposed to go dark side.”
“Did he say anything else?” Asked Sam.
“No, that’s it.”
“Really?” Asked Emily. “You sure?”
“I swear.”
“Dean, why didn’t you say anything?” Questioned Sam. Emily flicked away the finished cigarette. She pushed away from the fence.
“Dad begged me not to.”
“Oh come on!” Yelled Emily. “Who the fuck cares about dad?!” Dean’s expression hardened when she mentioned John. “I’m sorry Dean, but he’s been a dick over and over, up until the minute he died!”
“Don’t talk about dad like that!” Dean exclaimed, outraged.
“Or what?!” She crossed her arms, challenging him. “What will you do?”
“I’ll tell you what I’ll do-”
“ENOUGH!” Sam interrupted both of them. Dean and Emily stopped talking, but kept staring at each other, angry. “Stop! This thing- The- the constant bickering, the buttheading, it’s annoying! Whatever problem you two have, solve it. I don’t want to hear it anymore!”
“We don’t have a problem!” Said Emily and Dean at the same time. Then, very vexed, Emily lightly pushed Dean away.
“You think I wanted this? Huh? I wish to God he'd never opened his mouth. Then I wouldn't have to walk around with this screaming in my head all day.” He stated.
Emily was about to answer, but Sam's expression suggested otherwise and she decided to drop it.
She looked at Dean as Sam spoke: "We need to figure out what this means."
"We do? I've been thinking about this, I think we should just lay low. You know? At least for a while. It'd be safer. And that way I can make sure-"
"What? That I don't turn evil? That Emily doesn't stab you while you sleep?"
"I never said that."
"Might as well." Whispered Emily.
"You don't get it, do you?" Dean asked, angry. "Emily, you think this is a game? Can't you see this whole thing is spinning out of control? You're immune to some weirdo demon virus, and I don't even know what the hell anymore. And you're pissed at me, I get it. That's fine. You've always been and probably always will, I probably deserve it. But we lay low until we figure out our next move, okay?"
"Forget it." Said Sam.
"No." Emily turned back towards the river and laid on the fence. "This isn't just a random case: this is Sam and I- and if dad was that worried it must be big."
"Please." Begging. Dean was begging.
Sam looked at Emily and exhaled. Then, he looked at Dean and nodded.
Emily scowled at him.
What the-
Trust me. We'll talk about this later.
Reluctantly, Emily nodded and then shook her head.
For the entire duration of their remaining journey, she thought about ways she could investigate why her dad thought she was going dark side. Did it have anything to do with her powers? Was it all just the ramble of a dying man?
She came to the idea of running, but it wasn't easy fro multiple reasons, one of them being not wanting to leave Sam behind, who was as much knee-deep in shit as she was and with which she was finally starting to build a relationship.
As rocky as it had started, sharing powers had actually brought them back together, so much that Emily didn't feel comfortable leaving without him.
Later that night, Emily was woken up by someone shaking her. As she regained consciousness, she heard Dean's snoring loudly filling the room. Above her, Sam. He was holding both his and her backpacks.
"What-"
He signaled her to not speak and pointed to the door. Confused and still half asleep, she went out of the room and into the street. Sam quickly followed and he quietly closed the door.
"Sam, what are we doing? Why do you have my backpack?" She asked, getting back her stuff from him.
"Dean doesn't want to look into this whole 'save or kill' thing, so we'll do it ourselves."
"Sam, you know- I knew you were rebellious to dad, but I wasn't expecting you to be rebellious to Dean as well."
"So, wait-" He said, visibly confused. "You're not gonna fight me about this? You're just… on board?"
"Hell yes, let's go." She smiled. He complicity smiled back and they started walking. "Where should we go first?"
"First of all, we need a car."
"What about that one over there?" She pointed to a black car parked not far away. He nodded and soon, they were inside.
Sam was the first to drive, then Emily took over for a bit. When they finally parked in front of the Roadhouse, the sun was already high.
"Where are we?" Asked Emily, impatient.
"Harvelle's. Ellen, the woman who runs this place, is a family friend. She'll know how to help."
"Is this like a hunters' lair?" Emily said, entering the small room.
"Yeah, something of the sort." Answered the woman behind the counter. She smiled at Sam. "Hi, guys. Sam, how you doing?" She put a glass in front of him.
"I'm fine, thanks. Ellen, this is Emily, my sister."
"Oh, I heard a lot about you- But enough with the chit chat, your brother has been calling. He's worried sick!"
Emily rolled her eyes. Ellen looked at her and raised her eyebrows. "What's going on guys?"
Sam quickly glared at Emily and cleared his throat.
"So, umh- how's Jo?" He asked, trying to change the subject.
"Well, I don't really know." Answered the woman, filling the glass she had previously places with beer and doing the same with Emily.
"Sorry, who- who's Jo?" Asked Emily, curious.
"She's my daughter, she- she decided to pursue the hunting life. I tried to talk her out of it but we- we fought and she left. She sends postcards." Ellen explained.
"Why did she decide?" Inquired Sam.
"Well, it was that job you worked."
"I'm sorry, Ellen."
Emily, full of questions, finished her beer as Ellen and Sam kept talking for a while. After explaining what they were looking for, people their age with similar pasts, Emily and Sam were left alone in the pub.
"So, while Ash is working, wanna play pool?" Asked Emily, seeing the pool table was finally free. Sam shrugged and nodded.
"I guess it can't hurt."
They approached the pool table. Emily rearranged the balls in their triangular shape and passed a cue to Sam. “You break.”
As they started playing, Emily’s phone started ringing for the seventh time that day, showing Dean’s name on the screen. She exhaled and placed it back in her pocket.
“Is it Dean again?” Asked Sam, moving away to let Emily play.
“Yup.” She made her move and stood back.
“Can I ask you something?” Sam leaned on the table. Emily shrugged and nodded. “Do you have any plans of making things right between you and Dean?”
“There’s nothing to ‘make right’.”
“You sure?” Asked Sam. It was Emily’s turn.
“I mean- We’ve always been like this. It’s been three years. I doubt we’ll become best friends any time soon.” Sam didn’t answer, just limited himself to staring at her, eyebrows raised and a smug smile. “What?” She asked. “Oh, is this about what happened in the hospital?”
“Well-”
“Uh-uh, no Sam, you can’t use that against me! I thought he was going to die!”
“I haven’t said anything about that, but if you want to talk about it-”
“I don’t.”
“Of course you don’t.”
“What is that supposed to mean?”
“You remember when I said that the reason you and Dean fought so much was that you were too similar?”
“Yeah- And I already told you, it’s not true.”
“Of course it’s not.” He giggled.
“You find it funny?” She said, trying to remain serious.
“Actually? Yeah. Extremely funny. And… I won.” He holed the last ball and widely smiled at Emily, who rolled her eyes, smiling.
“I’ll shove that cue up your ass if you don’t quit trying to make me and Dean be best buddies.” She giggled, threateningly pointing her own cue towards him. At that very moment, Ash emerged from the room he had disappeared in, holding a stack of paper. Sam and Emily exchanged a look and returned serious, approaching Ash.
“That was fast.” Commented Sam.
“Well, apparently, that's my job. Make the monkey dance at the keyboard.” Answered Ash.
“What you got?” Asked Emily as Ellen also approached them.
“I have some names, all different ages, but all with the same background.” He handed Emily a piece of paper. Sam leaned in closer to read.
“I don’t know if it’s a coincidence, but there’s only people from two years: ‘85 and ‘83. There's also some people born in 2003, as you asked. Also…” Continued Ash. “...everyone from ‘85 except her…” He pointed at Emily. “All dead. And they weren’t pretty deaths.”
“What do you mean?” Emily found her name on the paper and it was in the middle of the other three, all striked out. A little above, there was Sam’s and in the list of people born in 2003, Alex.
The amount of people that were already dead sent a shiver down Emily’s spine. Especially all the names of the people her age.
“Have you got an address for this guy?” Sam pointed at Scott Carey, whose name was the only one striked out in the list of people born in ‘83.
“Kind of. The Arbor Hill Cemetery in Lafayette, Indiana. Plot four-eighty-six.” Answered Ash.
“Do you know how he died?”
“Stabbed. Parking lot. Fuzz don't have much, no suspects.”
“All right. Thank you.” Emily and Sam gestured at Ash and walked to a table on the other side of the Roadhouse.
“What are you thinking?” Asked Emily. “Do you know the guy?”
“No, but we need to start somewhere, you know? People your age, all dead. People of Alex’s age are still too young, so I guess we can start from people born in ‘83.”
Emily didn’t answer and supported her head with her hands, exhaling. “What do you think it’s going on?” She asked.
“Honestly? I have no clue. But maybe this guy’s death has something to do with it.”
“You wanna go now or do you want to wait until tomorrow?”
Sam looked at Ellen and frowned. “Let’s go now. She probably already told Dean where we are.”
“Figures. Alright, let’s scram.” Emily stood up and they went to greet Ellen.
“Where are you going?”
“Indiana.” Answered Sam.
“Sam? I've gotta call Dean, I've gotta let him know where you are.”
See? We better go.

How would your OCs react to their GF/BF having a bad day? Like really shitty rainy bad day
James "Dix" Dixion
Dix would immediately try to make you laugh. Probably telling you a story of something stupid he did as a teenager.
He's so animated when he tells you too. Making up voices, using a comb as a mustache.
"And Josh's dad was so pissed at me! It's okay tho Mr. Vaughn can't resist me, he forgave me after a week. Moved all his old trophies though."
He'll keep you laughing until your bad day is completely forgotten.
Joshua Vaughn
Josh would offer you an oversized sweater and some boxers while he washed and dried your clothes. No one wants to hang out in sopping wet clothing on top of their already shitty day.
"Tell me about your day, baby."
He'd just sit and listen to how shitty your day was. Once you tired yourself out he'd ask
"Do you want a ride home or a sleepover, baby?"
"Sleep over."
"Yeah, I figured. Up to bed, I'll tuck you in."
Everett Reed
Everett would be so pissed on your behalf.
"Next time you tell Patricia from accounting that if she has a goddamned problem then she can take it up with me. What the fuck is she talking about? 'yOuR sLaCkInG'. Shut the fuck up Patricia."
He'd be pacing back and forth cursing out whoever made you cry.
Devon Reed
He'd see your tears and your soaking wet clothes and immediately pull you into a hug.
"Do you want to vent, be distracted, or have a problem solved?"
Whatever you decide he'd be all too happy to help.
He'd cuddle you the whole time too, helping you relax.
"Do you wanna hear a new song I wrote?"
Ryker Jones
"What's wrong? Talk to me."
She'd listen as you talk about the shitty Karen who ruined your day, massaging your scalp.
She'd have to resist the urge to hunt down that Karen, but ultimately she knew that it wasn't something in her jurisdiction.
She'd give such light kisses all over your face, helping melt away the stress.
Ava Reyes
Runs you a bubble bath with nice-smelling candles and makes your cocoa.
"Listen, they can only bother you if you let them. At the end of the day, they are just bitter. You are stronger than them for not reacting out of aggression or jealousy."
She'd definitely wash your clothes for you and provide some nice PJs to sleep in.
"Do you wanna watch a movie with me?"
Magdalyn Rose
She'd take you in her arms and soothe your crying.
"Come, my love, prep breakfast for the shelter with me. Cooking is as good as therapy, no?"
You would act as her sous chef as she instructed you on prepping the meal.
The longer into the meal prep the more your worries were forgotten.
She served you up some nice hot biscuits for dinner, instructing you to eat.
If you crashed out at her place, she'd take you home in the morning.
Aaron Jones
If you came to Aaron after your bad day, he'd pull you to his reading nook, serve you up some coffee and sit with you while you talked about it.
"Feeling better?"
"A little."
"Good. You're not allowed to be sad in my presence. Only happy thoughts."
He'd kiss your forehead, pet your hair.
"How about I make you forget your worries?"
Samuel Lowe
Sam would cuddle you, let you cry it out.
"Let's watch a movie. You can tell me all about it when you're ready."
He's very patient, but usually very tired. He'd want you to talk about it, but knows patience is key with you.
"Can we just go to bed, please?"
"Of course. Anything to make you feel better."
Greyson Reyes
"You know, typically I'd think your tears are hot, but I don't think that'd fly in this situation."
He'd sit you on his lap and soothe you. Offer his advice.
"You need a hot meal and to rest."
He'd check on you throughout the night to make sure you were sleeping peacefully.
