in my last post i said there would likely be an R version of Love Sagittarius, Q-Pits PR. that is because there is already an R version of Aurora Pegasus and the other two PRs! (they came with the little swing holder keychains). 

R aurora pegasus has a completely different dress!! its still absolutely aurora pegasus, but. not premium. 

also, you can see the difference in detail between the R pastel mix cat sidhe, and the N pastel mint cat sidhe. same basic design, but the rarer one has more details and looks way nicer. 

(this is why glossy peridot is so ugly. glossy ruby was nice but already pretty bare bones, but thats an R, so they had to make it worse for the N version. so.... solid olive green leggings. which i better what i thought they were, which was like. bicycle shorts basically.)

Kingdom Hearts Disney Character Daemons

I’ve finally done it, and made a list of all 59 human Disney character’s Daemons that appear in Kingdom Hearts.

I’ve listed them in Game Order and then World Order, with Worlds appearing in subsequent games only listed in the first game they debuted in including all characters, even if they themselves didn’t appear in that game (eg. Olympus is only listed in KH1, but includes Meg). I’ve added notes as well for a ‘quick analysis or things I’ve found out while researching the animals, names or characters.

Since it’s a monster of a list, I’ve saved everyone some Dash space and listed everything under the cut.

Kingdom Hearts

Wonderland

Alice: Unsettled, usually in the form of a cat. Jacob (Dinah)

Queen of Hearts: Anna’s Hummingbird. Basil

Notes: I wasn’t sure if I was going to include the Queen or not- but I decided to, since there isn’t anything that says she’s not human. I chose a hummingbird for her for her frequent mood swings due to the fact that (male) hummingbirds can get very aggressive.

Olympus Coliseum

Hercules: Pegasus (he’s half mortal so, they’d be extraordinary)

Megera: Ferret. Creon

Notes: I’ve found myself with a stereotype that if I can’t find a particular animal for a Daemon, I simply make them a mustalidae, but I think it works with Megera as she gives off a fem-fetale confidence.

Deep Jungle

Tarzan: African Fish Eagle. Juana

Jane: Jewel Beetle (Chrysochroa fulgidissima). Iain

Clayton: Sabor

Notes: These were some of the hardest Daemons I’ve had to place, since I could not think of what to give them (apart from Clayton). But looking closer at Tarzan and Jane’s personalities, I chose what I feel are fitting Daemons, with the Eagle being a symbol of bravery, and the Beetle being a symbol for intellect and quirkiness.

Agrabah

Aladin: Sadaf (Abu)

Jasmine: Arabian Mau. Dara

Jafar: Jacqueline (Iago)

Notes: I did almost give Jasmine Rajah for her Daemon, but wanted something smaller and less imposing, but equally as outgoing, so I decided to keep in the Feline family. Also, TIL; Iago is Welsh for Jack.

Monstro

Gepetto: Fidela (Figaro)

Notes: I do want to say that I think that once Pinocchio becomes human he would get a Daemon, and that Daemon would be Jimminy, granted by the Blue Fairy. But considering Jimminy’s role in the KH franchise, I thought it would be weird for him to be traveling with Sora + co.

Neverland

Wendy: Unsettled, Mostly takes the form of a Bluebird. Geoffrey

Peter: Unsettled, usually the form of a Cuckoo. Ceil

Slightly: Unsettled, usually in the form of a Vixen. Jackie

Cubby:  Unsettled, usually in the form of a Black bear cub. Thea

Hook: Slender Mongoose. Adelaide

Mr. Smee: Mallard duck. Deryn

Notes: Smee’s Daemon was going to be a Schipperke (a small black dog) until I looked up Smee’s name and found it was a common old name to call Waterfowl (mainly ducks and Smews), and his personality fit!

Land of Dragons

Mulan: Cri-Kee

Le Shang: Pallas Cat. Ushas

Shan Yu: Hayabusa

Ling: Japanese Macaque. Binh

Yao: Hamadryas Baboon. Jie

Chien Po: White-Cheeked Macaque.Yu

The Emperor: Indochinese Tigress. Indrani

Notes: I based Ling, Yao and Chien Po on the three wise monkeys in terms of Daemon themes. The White-Cheeked Macaque isn’t the best choice, however, since it was only recently discovered..

Beast’s Castle

Belle: Eurasian Jay. Clarus

‘Beast’: Wild European Sow (Boar). Addison

Notes: I wasn’t going to give Beast a Daemon at first- she’d only appear in his human form at the end credits scene anyway, but I chose to give him one of his design inspirations, since the personality matched.

Port Royal

Capt. Jack Sparrow: Sparrow Hawk. Wyleye

William Turner Jr: Arctic Tern. Vilma

Elizabeth Swann: Barnacle Goose. Aaron

Capt. Hector Barbosa: Great Skua. Rossa

Notes: Yes, they’re all birds because all of their names (apart from Barbossa) were names of birds. I changed Jack’s from just ‘Sparrow’ to ‘Sparrowhawk’ since I think that suited him more. Also, Skuas may look like a drab seagull, but they are mean little things that rob other birds for food and eat chicks!

Enchanted Dominion

Notes: I’ve already talked about the Fairies before and haven’t changed their Daemons. Aurora is an owl because owls are stereotyped into two things: being knowledgeable, and being tired all the time. Disney themselves play to this trope a lot too.

Castle of Dreams

Cinderella: Jaq

Lady Tremaine: Lucifer

Anastasia Tremaine: Lion Tamarin. Bion

Drizella Tremaine: Peacock Pheasant. Felix

Notes: I chose the sister’s Daemons for specific reasons. They’re both prideful in their looks, singing voice and being ‘better than’ Cinderella. the two most common animals that symbolize pride is the lion and the peacock. giving these animals as Daemons to the sisters gives them a falseness about them. They may see themselves as all these good things, but in reality- they’re nothing but a sham.

Dwarf Woodland

The Queen/Witch Hag: Panther(leopard)/Rook. Gunnar

Snowwhite: Bluetit. Vardan

Notes: When matching Daemons to characters, I like to do research on those characters, and as it turns out- the Queen was going to be given a black panther as an animal companion in early drafts of Snow White. This was changed to a crow that lives in her potions’ lair later on. I gave her two forms, because I could foresee her using magic on her Daemon to make the disguise more complete.

Notes: I don’t have much to say here other than Pheobus’ Daemon was chosen based on his name alone, since they are small birds with a very bright crest that looks like sunshine when it catches the light.

Notes: I did this very late on and very quickly due to me forgetting that Sam and Kevin are humans in this world! even at a quick look, I think I got them right.

Notes: I only really had trouble with Flynn’s Daemon, but landed on a magpie because they both like shiny things- like enormous piles of money.

Kristoff: Svalbard Reindeer. Bae

Hans: European Wolf. Gerda

Notes: I based Elsa’s Daemon from the early concept of Frozen, where she was going to be an evil queen with a coat of living Ermine. Other than hers, all other Daemons are based on the original Book’s characters, with Hans’ Daemon being named after the main character, which further amplifies the end twist.

San Fransokyo

Hiro: Japanese Beetle. Kei

Gogo: Hedgehog. Hwan

Honey Lemon: Bumble-Bee. Benigno

Wasabi: Mediterranean Mantis. Ginger

Pony prom 2020

The arrival- Featureing Aurora from @ask-acepony

The carriage ride to Silver Shoals was rather uneventful, all things considered. A landscape going by outside the window? All standard fare in the life of a Royal Guard that travels on occasion, but the destination for this one was far from uneventful. This year’s Pony Prom was promising to be its most romantic yet.

For the occasion, the guard wore his golden mane back in a braid and steeled his icy blue eyes on the pretty unicorn mare that was even now adjusting his blue suit and light pink boutonniere. A smile pursed his lips as his silvery magic affixed a lilac and purple corsage to her golden bracelets. Despite being ‘late’, the two were more than happy to take this time to make sure they looked their best before they arrived. It's a fashion pony thing.

His date’s multi-colored mane was already amazing as it usually was, no need for anything too fancy, not this time. He liked her mane in its natural state anyway. She agreed. Besides, when you have accessories as intricate as she wore, your hair is likely the least concerning thing. Her deep blue feather dress was ‘simple’, the gold accents were not. Not only did they look pretty, they also hid the secret harness she was wearing as well as her mane framed her face. Said harness was holding a pair of hoof crafted wings of their design. Blue bleeding into orange was the color of her feathers, and they twitched and moved like any set of pegasus wings should.

Before, they were but ‘simple’ accessories, but when the two Unicorns put their heads together they made something extraordinary and she has been wearing it a bit more frequently to get used to the feeling of having that extra weight swinging around. She gave it fashion, he imbued it with function. Together, they made functioning prosthetic wings that can look just as good as the real deal for pegasi, and for non ponies they made a fashion piece that had no equal!

Truly their partnership was able to flourish for those in the know, but alas the details had to be kept under the rug. This was a TUMBLR matter, so they had to be careful with it. But that didn’t stop them from trying them out and experimenting until they had perfected the design in their free time. Maybe someday the public at large in her world will know about these? But today was probably not that day.

No it was definitely not today, as they had a Prom to attend. It's not often their busy schedules allow them to meet up like this, much less spend at the very least two days together. That's why they took the time to bring out the best they had to offer. It was a special occasion for many reasons.

With her work done and them both satisfied with appearances, the two returned to their seats and let out a long sigh. They actually managed to finish preparations before they arrived! That was quite the rarity when it came to their conflicting schedules.

One unicorn turned to the other and commented, “I see you have gotten used to the wings, Aurora. Tonight will be the true test of their enchantments.”

The other unicorn, Aurora unfurled one of ‘her wings’ and examined it closely, “I cannot say I´m completely used to them, Platinum. Flapping them still feels awkward. It’s like having a second horn and third horn, except… Floppy.”

Platinum found himself smirking once more as he leaned in his seat, a hoof holding up his head as he looked her over for the fourth time tonight, “I spent weeks in the lab working on it. If they break again, I will eat my armor.”

“Knowing you, you probably could cast an edibility spell on it.”

His smirk became a grin, answering the question before Aurora had even asked it. The Unicorn was shameless when it came to his enchanting ability. Probably the only thing he ever gloats about. Otherwise he is always prim and proper, respectful of others. On his shoulders was the pride of his homeland, and he carried it with the pride only a true fashionista could. She admired that about him. Actually, she admired a lot of things, he just happened to be a lot of those things too. There were millions of stallions out there, her brief experiences with Tumblr worlds beyond her own through Ace suggested as much, but there was only one like him. Just like her, he was distinct, original. Bold!

She supposed that, if it weren’t him going to the prom with her, it probably would be another tumblr pony of sorts. Ever since she met Ace, there was hardly any looking back at the ‘normal’, It was all looking forward, sometimes literally. Not that she complained too much. She enjoyed the present she lived in and the future more than she did dwelling upon her past. She just sometimes wished there wasn’t that much crazy, but tumblr ponies like Platinum. 

He understood how crazy their worlds can get. He has seen it. That’s probably why she is this at ease around him. Not only do they have complimentary professions, but he understood her in a unique way that a lot of ponies just can’t even begin to describe, including herself. His looks were also a contributing factor, but his understanding perhaps held far more weight to her.

As the carriage rolled on, she couldn’t help but wonder what kind of ponies she will get to see this time around. What other ponies can share in their understanding? What unique ideas can inspire her this time? He was just as eager as she was to find out as they sat together and looked out the window at the Port town appearing off in the distance.

the second swing Aikatsu Planet bestowed on me... was the Campaign Rare version of Aurora Pegasus!! how lucky to get to see it on Milk in my first game!! obviously the level isn’t as high as the PR, but thanks to it I didn’t have to worry about losing any games, and the coord itself is identical.

I tried to take a photo of the swing in the arcade next to the sample PR to show silver vs. gold, but they both look gold, don’t they. you can see a difference in how much metallic detail is on it, at least.

later I caved and bought another, which turned out to be the Pastel Mint Cait Sith! so there’s the whole gang from the arcade together.

it seems like mao ruli kyoko and shiori are going to be the core friend group, and the first big hurdle mao is going to have to overcome is ayumi. why do i say this? is it because flying tips is the most epic-sounding, and thus, must have an equal amount of stakes?

certain swings have powers like, if your oppenent is a R, +2 level, if your opponent is music +1 levels, etc etc. 

love sagittarius, q-pits PR, is a level 9 swing, the highest level there is. q-pit is the hardest idol to beat in the arcade game. 

aurora pegasus (PR), is a level 8 swing that has the skill, if your opponent is horoscope-type, you get +2 levels. 

aurora pegasus (CP) (from the idol recommendation dressier campaign) is a level 6 if your opponent is horoscope, then fairy-types +1 (so, if you are fielding a full set of fairy types, thats plus one to each) 

aurora pegasus (SEC), which has live action mao on the back instead of hana and the dress, is a level 8 swing that says if your opponent is PR Love Sagittarius, your level +3. 

A DIRECT TARGET TO SPECIFICALLY PR LOVE SAGITTARIUS. SPECIFICALLY TO Q-PIT, WITH MAO ON THE BACK, WHICH MAKES IT SEEM. RELEVANT. 

also, if you are confused why they would have to signify PR love sagittarius, its likely there will be an R love sag that has a less fancy version of that same dress.
