I decided to watch The Nevers after I saw this gif...

Somehow it reminded me of Sherlolly... Here Maladie also kinda resembled faux-bride Moriarty in TAB lol.

I feel like this show is made for me 😁 it has Victorian setting, sci-fi elements, and magic of its own.

Am I the only one who think that Penance-Augie has this Simon-Kaylee vibes? Give and take.

At first I didn’t really get the opening (what I like to call) sexposition (when they intercut a sex scene with exposition and I can’t just skip it) scene in The Nevers episode 5 with Amalia and Horatio and the allusion to Desirée and some other guy but now I do

It specifically focuses on Penance’s reaction to both of those things because she doesn’t feel that (not sure if she’s asexual or not, but she is in my headcanon) for Augie, but her peers and those around her ARE experiencing that, so she feels awkward BECAUSE she doesn’t

Very long winded way of saying that Penance and Augie are both ace and also they want to kiss each other so bad it makes them look stupid sometimes

I can't seem to find the old headcanon post? So, I'm going to re-write it! Or write it out for the first time??? Whichever the case may be. Nonetheless! As a group, we have collectively decided that Prim does not die, Hugo doesn't die- though it does make for good plot armour- nobody fecking dies that's touched because f canon! After the purists (people that hate the touched.) raid the orphanage/home for the touched, Augie offers to buy them an estate in the countryside where they can distance themselves from the purists and maybe set up a better defence protocol instead of being in the cramped space of London. With the open air and all the space they can use! Being that the other building was basically destroyed and they had nowhere to go, I'd say they stayed at the Bidlow estate for a while until Augie buys a separate building for the touched. He continues to run the Bidlow business- whatever that may be. they never specified. But they are very well-off people. And he now takes over Lavinia's (his late sister-- mighttt be at his own hand xD she deserved it!) jobs and social interactions as well as funding for the touched.
