An interesting thing about this shrine is that they have set up selfie stands around the tree so people can take selfies. Atami is known for its hotsprings. The town is built around catering to guests who come to bathe.

熱海の鳥たち 30分程ボートでぶらり。鳥たちを間近で観察できた。 観光客からのおやつを目当てに、かもめがついてくる。 近い。入ってきそうな勢い。 Birds in Atami, Japan 30-Minute boat trip game me a good view of flying birds. Seagulls were following boat. They expect snacks from the tourists. They flew so close to us. I wondered they might come into the boat accidentally. It would be chaos if that happens.
