Iodine (53)

Iodine is a useful non-metal element needed by the human body to live. Iodine is most known for being added to many commercial table salts to help thyroid functions and it's radioactive form used to treat thyroid cancers. Iodine forms a lovely purple liquid just above water's boiling point. We do love an element with color and the ability to keep us alive. Though they may leave quite fast due to sublimation.

Astatine (85)

Astatine is a hot and radioactive element named via greek for it's instability. Astatine is so radioactive that barely a gram exists at any one time, and any visible amount would nearly instantly vaporize itself. Not much is known about it's chemical properties otherwise, but it would probably be analogous to it's competitor Iodine, with some extra metalloid characteristics. Very unstable? Yes! A hot date? Also Yes!
