This one is a collab with the incomparable @deheerkonijn (who is probably going to get a mention in all these asks, because the beauty of fandom flow is that even on stuff you aren't actively working on together, talking about stuff All The Time leads to a lot of ideas for both people!). She also titled the document, hehe, which I think is a great compliment for how much impact I have had on modverse.

A thing about me is that I love fake politics. They haven't made it into the stories yet, but I have the modern forms of government roughly sketched out for I believe all the major kingdoms we visit in modverse (Mirkwood, Gondor, Erebor). DHK patiently lets me ramble about the one single poli sci class I took in undergrad a whole lifetime ago, and it's very fun for me. But this story, despite the title, is not actually 100% about politics!

One thing that's fun about modverse is thinking about how different things from the canon might map onto this fusion universe. We decided that in this world, the way Legolas and Gimli met is that they were both volunteering for Aragorn's political campaign! This story is a meander through that time, and right now all it is is a series of snippets of each of us contributing moments we wanted to include, and it has lain dormant for a while now, but I'm determined that one day I'm going to come back to it and we will finish it!

“do you like women” yes, sometimes! i’m grey aroace and what little i do experience is for women only— but very rare. i write a lotta romance for a person that does not really jive with dating LOL

ah, good eye!!! i wondered if someone might comment on that. it was quackity, yes! 🎊🎉 i’ll avoid going on an insane tangent about the nuances of why leaving specific indicators of Wilbur’s bisexuality/previous interest in both men and women in this fic— when that’s something i usually don’t do— was VERY important to me, but just for the record: it was REALLY intentional, simpbur is our bi rat king amen 🙏

Alright, here's the idea.

Imagine having been Alivebur's ex-spouse from before L'manburg had started, the two of you having divorced when you walked in on him and that damn salmon together in your own home.

You eventually made your way to the DreamSMP years later, looking for a new place to call home. That's when you run into him, the ghost of your ex-husband who apparently doesn't remember his mistress or the fact that you two aren't together at all. As far as Ghostbur is concerned, you two are still happily married.

You tried telling him several times as gently as possible that no, you two aren't married anymore, but he just doesn't seem to understand or want to. He keeps showing up in your new home, acting like nothing had changed at all. You even keep waking up to find him in your bed next to you in the middle of the night.

You even start spending less time at home, hoping to avoid him and hoping that he'll take a hint, but he keeps following you around. He keeps asking why you're not at home, and telling you that if you need something he'll get it for you. He's your husband after all, he can take care of you!

When you try to talk to anyone else about trying to get Ghostbur to back off, he shows up out of no where and gets even more clingy somehow. He keeps asking why you're talking to them, why you need them around when you have him.

One day you just can't take it anymore. You snap and you yell and cry and just beg him to leave you alone he's not your husband he hasn't been for a very long time. Surprisingly, he leaves you alone for the rest of that day. You don't see hide nor hair of Ghostbur, and while you feel bad about getting so angry at him, you mainly feel relieved.

That relief vanishes when you wake up with one wrist tied to your bed, and Ghostbur gently placing a kiss on your lips when he realizes you're awake, asking if you've slept well. -Top Hat Anon

I'm sure someone has done this before but the hybrid members showing you affection following their animal traits-

Quackity letting out coos and chirping everytime you stroke his wings just right and his 'serenading' being his way to woo you when you two first started dating.

(Many have mention this but I gotta give a shoutout-) Phil stealing shiny and pretty objects he finds during his adventures and just gifting them to you saying it reminded him of you.

The two of them liking to run their fingers through your hair as a way to preen you and them sometimes making a nest full of soft things the two of you own just to cuddle in.

Fundy liking to tackle you into a hug and sometimes playfully nipping at you in the process. Him bringing you food from his and Niki's bakery whenever there's extra and just being happy to keep you fed.

Techno being very protective of you like a piglin with their chests. Often having to have you calm him down when someone touches you even by accident. Him liking to see you in gold and gifting you golden armour or weapons because one, it makes him happy and two, the voices choose to calm down a lot and coo when they see you like this. Decked out wearing and carrying the armour and weapon he made and enchanted especially for you.

Schlatt of course gently headbutting you by instinct whenever you're even close to him. He always says that he does it when he's super annoyed with someone and that is sorta true. He is pretty annoyed that you get him feeling so soft and mushy. The opposite of what he should be.

OH GOSH UHHH FKSKFNSKFK okay, i’ll be honest: i do not like, let alone REREAD my works, ever, but i think my favorite on the conceptual level has to be imagen de espejo! my audience didn’t particularly enjoy it (which is fine!!) so i didn’t continue writing it, however i do love the idea to its core! meanwhile, my more “popular” fics are actually some of the ones i dislike the most 😭🤚

oh! that’s an interesting question!! and very unexpected i will admit ^^” to be honest, i’m really not a collab person—i’m controlling and want things done a particular way, so it frustrates me (AND everyone else) to try to work with others most of the time unless it’s, like, rp 😭 but there’s no one i wouldn’t interact with that i know of! minors writing r18 content are the only people in the community i have issues with, as far as who i know of right now. i’d love to meet and interact with more authors, there just aren’t as many of us around now as when i started originally ☹️
