Why do you still like HTTYD and other things similar to it when you’re as old as you are?

Asking because I’ve never been able to understand even though you taught me how to not let my childhood slip away from even myself lol.

I don't think there's ever an age where you have to stop liking something. Are dragons real? No. Are they fun to see on screen and theorize about? Hell yeah. This also goes for many of my other favorite fantasy movies like Brother Bear, Lilo & Stitch, The Incredibles, and the list goes on. I don't think I'm some weird anomaly, I think the anomaly is that I'm not ashamed of liking these "kids movies". lol

Why I chose this username: ok so back in 2015 i wanted to change my blog bc my parents kept finding my blogs and i wanted to do a complete switch (also bc me and a friend were breaking contact w/ some shitty people). so at the time also i was super into this one book adn tehres a character in it named ‘tick-tick’ and i wanted something that was similar to her name... so i thought of things that started with tick and i was like hey what if i do blood sucking arthropods? so tick, flea, mosquito.

Happy Pride Month!

Thanks, I guess? I'm not a big fan because of how dramatic it gets. Yeah I may get attacked for that but I'm just being honest. I really don't give a damn about how you live your life, that's up to you. I just have a problem with any month being so aggressively active. Hell, I even hate December because it's all Christmas for 25 fuckin' days. XD

What is on your “Reminders” or “Ideas” sheet? What’s your favorite out of the bunch and which ones do you have yet to think more on or bring to life?

(Example of what I mean is when I said “Drunk Lions” and you went to write it down saying it gave you an idea.)

@oneshotreker Oh gosh, there's not a simple answer for this. lol Well let me see what my 5 most recent ideas/notes are. Let's see, I've got: → Likely a short story about that Drunk Lions idea that created (yup this is gonna be a thing) → "Mourg" from when I typo'ed "mouth" who I want to make a character out of now → "Cicon" is another typo that looks like a name and gave me a bunch of ideas → "Shadoe" is, again, another typo that just automatically sparked an idea for me. And finally, → I watch a body language analysis channel (Observe) and this line reminded me of two characters: "I don't believe that a bad parent can fully create... this." He was referring to Ed Kemper blaming his mother because of a bad relationship they had as part of the reason he did the things he did. I really want to do short stories for the two it reminded me of; they were both raised in loving environments but even I don't know why these two characters turned out as monsters, so when I saw the video I was really inspired to look deeper into the chars and see what I could do. Been kinda working on those, but they wouldn't be ready for a while yet.

What made you come up with the idea of httyd toothless talks curiosity are just for a good old laugh

One page of THW book combined with one scene in the movie made me want to do the series. In the movie, the Light Fury roars at Toothless as he approaches; hissing at the ground. When I first saw this I was like "what is she saying?" When I later found the picture book that literally gave her a translation, I knew I wanted to make a video where all of her growls, hisses, and coos were translated. It was actually originally going to be what the Light Fury was thinking, but I decided to do the whole movie instead. So, yeah. The Light Fury is the reason Toothless Talks exists. That's gonna get me a fair amount of hate, but, I'm just being honest. XD

What do you think of SoD adding the Cavern Crasher??

I hope it's a sign that there will be a land-based race course soon. As for the dragon itself, I quite like it. It's on par with Deathgrippers in terms of its perceived "evil" due to eating eggs. Also, can't forget it can manipulate its bones to fit through tight spaces. <3
