I love Pico and adore that he's adopted Todd as his dad! I am very curious as to why he doesn't like Mikey though, if you want to share that or waiting to do something with it later. No pressure to answer, but I'm wondering if it has anything to do with that episode where Mikey ditches Todd to hang out with Meat Sweats?

That episode is the sole reason why he doesn't like Mike. Pico in his eyes sees Mikey as a I wanna say threat/danger to Todd's life, even if Todd doesn't see it that way cuz he's too nice and optimistic for his own good (bless him), Pico doesn't wanna risk losing the only caring figure he has in his life cuz he wouldn't know what to do without him. So yeah he's gonna be quite rude and standoffish to anyone he deems as a threat to his dad figure/family. He doesn't understand the appeal of idols, cuz from Pico's pov Mikey disregarded his friendship and left him for a sleezeball who's tried to eat him and his family on MULTIPLE occasions. I don't think any excuse is gonna make him feel better.

what was your first ps oc? what was their personality/design like?

(oh my god it's been my THIRD TIME having to rewrite ALL of this because I keep accidentally wiping it..BUT IM NO QUITTER!!! And 3rd times a charm!! :3)

After thinking through and having to write this multiple times now, I've come to the conclusion that my first Pico's School oc actually started out as just a concept, then became a fully fledged oc only after I already made a few others, but I think the title still goes to them!

As a concept, they were a spiteful ghost. Not sure why, where they came from, nor did I ever decide literally anything else about them. Their whole thing was that they were this spiteful ghost who was also kinda silly? All I really remember was that they liked messing with Pico and enjoyed the thought of everyone in the world meeting a horrible end? Strange, I know. But don't worry, it gets worse, LMAO!!

When I brought up the idea to my best friend and got a mixed review, I immediately dropped them out of embarrassment, just to bring them back to add something to another PS oc of mine who I made with a whole batch of them (All of which I still have and TREASURE because they all mean so much to me)

Their name is Noah, and their whole character (at least at the time since they're DRASTICALLY different now) was that they were super shy, EXTREMELY timid, and depressed. (And also dinosaurs!!) And remember the first oc I mentioned? Well, their name is now Glass, thanks to the same best friend, and their whole existence revolves around making Noah's life a living hell.

The whole story behind the two was that Noah got bullied when they were younger and obviously at a different school and got forced to go into the boiler room that was rumored to be haunted?? Henceforth, Noah got semi-possessed by Glass.

Nearly everything about Glass revolves around Noah, so it's a little hard to explain them by themself, but there are a few things about them that are particularly interesting.

Their silliness and spitefullness are now split into two completely different personalities, but both with the ultimate goal of getting Noah to 'self-destruct' (I swear its for a reason but GOD that sounds so bad to the point its funny) The spiteful side did so by telling them horrible things and just making Noah hate themself in general. The silly side did so by making sure that any peace Noah ever found never lasted by being atrociously annoying.

Also they shapeshift, because they can. And that's cool. So yeah!

They don't have an exact story behind why they are the way they are. They've gone from 'kid who got murdered' to 'ghost with no chill' to 'weird other dimensional being that wants humanity dead' to 'demon who wants to wreak havoc on mankind'.

And as of now, I don't know what to do with Glass, both in terms of character and appearance wise, since I really haven't worked on them whatsoever for what feels like years, and like I said I completely reworked Noah, character and all, and their entire existence revolves around them, so I think it's only right that I completely rework them and maybe even finally give them a solid backstory and character.

As for what they look like actually isn't too hard even if they do shapeshift since I gave them this sort of 'normal' or 'standard' form, which itself has two different versions depending on which personality is talking. Heres my most recent take on what they look(ed?) like (and I mean recent as in literally right now LOL):

I think it's obvious on its own but left side is 'meanie' right side is 'silly'

The pictures around the edge are OLD OOOLD doodles I've made of them (some of them have Noah's old designs in them too :3), but basically 'meanie' is pretty boring, but they do literally all of the shapeshifting, meanwhile 'silly' is ribbon-like? And they have a mouth and arms. Smaller differences are the cowlicks and whatever the hell you call that strand of hair in the middle of their face

Anywaysss! I could talk all about Noah and literally EVERYTHING about them, but that's probably for another time considering how long this already is!

Pico Jugo

Who doesn't like drinking a fresh juice at a sunny day? Pico, like the rest of his family are Fresh and juicy, typically Pulpy.

He's a very conyo character yet lives in a Latino- Filipino household alongside with Roseberry. He has problems with his Spanish and is very addicted to games. He somehow is very good at Mathematics. which lead him finding a part time job at Cafe Mellowood during his senior years in school.

Don't let his smile fool you, he's mischievous and likes causing Trouble< thankfully it's the playful one. He loves eating lemon, weird.

Whenever i see your Bassclef au stuff, it always gets me curious about literally every character's lore and the art really helps conveying it- if that makes sense?-

For instances, who's Slinger?

GAH !! I ALWAYS GET SO EXCITED WHEN PEOPLE ASK ME QUESTIONS ABOUT THE BASSCLEF AU !!

To explain Slinger’s story I’ll also have to briefly go over the overall plot of the au so here goes:

“Bassclef” is a robotic replica of Boyfriend, commissioned by Daddy Dearest and sent to literally kill the actual Boyfriend because DD is evil like that and also despises the relationship between boyfriend and girlfriend. The robot succeeded. He killed Boyfriend as he was ordered to, but was bot-napped directly after the event. This lead to the robot boyfriend being sold and rented and bot-napped repeatedly until shit went down (being vague here on purpose) and eventually he found his way to Pico, who took him to be repaired by Watts - a friend of Pico’s from his old school.

Cut to later in the story, while Bassclef has now been living with Watts for a while. His face had been all over the news at that point - horror stories and reports about the “man-killing robot clone” flooded the media and pretty much made Bassclef a celebrity (to his dismay).

So, due to how unbelievably popular this situation had become, someone had the idea to make a copy-cat Bassclef incident in order to achieve the same scale of infamy that Bassclef had. So this anonymous buyer commissioned the same person who had made Bassclef - Dr. Olivia - to create another robot replica - this one being of Pico. However, before it was completely finished, the buyer cancelled the commission due to insignificant funds. They couldn’t pay for it.

Dr. Olivia finished the robot anyway. He named it “Slinger” (as in Gun-slinger) and gave it one mission, which is to find Bassclef and bring him back to the Doctor in order to be reset and repurposed.

Unlike Bassclef, however, Slinger doesn’t have the same memories as the real Pico. He has no connected whatsoever to Pico other than sharing an appearance. Slinger is his own character completely, unlike how Bassclef is literally just Boyfriend robofied, sharing the same memories as the Real boyfriend and all that fun stuff.

Plant Portraits

(pst- psssssst!- Hey, hey you. Yeah, you! Want to see something cool? look at this post by @hellishgayliath. It's about the characters shown here! They worked on it for a week straight, so check it out!) . . .

Hi, yes, hi, hello. Yeaaaaaah- steering away from the angst me & Helli brewed while I recover from crying. This was inspired exactly a month ago from this ask I made to Helli ask bout their oc's fav plants. I wanted to try out a new rendering style & thought this be a good opportunity + plant practice

Pico; He likes cinnamon plants/trees & likes to knaw on cinnamon sticks. So I did cinnamon plants! Specifically Cinnamomum cassia, or known as Chinese cassia, that is the most commonly sold cinnamon in North America (yes you are getting plant facts this took longer to research than to draw mainly because I like learning but that's besides the point and I wanna share knowledge) I really like how the leaves came out! Twas very fun. His plants are well maintained, healthy, & green (maybe too green lol) which shows his craft in gardening & care. Luci doesn't have teeth, so she can't really 'knaw' on things, so she didn't like trying Pico's snacks when she stole one. She was coughing on cinnamon for the next hour after. Pico laughed at her, obviously Ingenuity: the quality of being clever, original, and inventive

Bao; He likes wisteria flowers, the purple variation (my fav colour)! I loved loved LOVED coloring these plants, but it feels the most empty out of all of them (Clem is all over the place lmao) but I also kinda like it. Like it reflects their personalities this way, like he's the most upkept in society (despite his utter lack of gardening knowledge). Apparently, American wisteria is a host plant to native butterflies and moths! Add that to another reason Luci likes Bao lol. I feel like anytime she comes to the tea shop, Bao would bring her to the garden he & Pico would be working on. And everytime he's show her the plants he managed on his own they'd be drooping and dying lmao. Bao would be so confused & Luci is just unsurprised. And yes, I did think of & look at the wisteria in demon slayer Versatility: the ability to adapt or be adapted to many different functions or activities

Clem; She likes (take 3 seconds to guess) citrus fruits!! Like her name. So I of course did citrus fruits, lemons & oranges. She has my FAVORITE pose, her reaching for the fruit while juggling some in her other arm is adorable. And of course that cute face of hers! Her plants are just EVERYWHERE & is the only one to touch the ends of the canvas (that I wanted to avoid but oh well, it didn't look good otherwise). Besides, it shows her big personality and chaotic energy children have. Apparently, they're sometimes called 'Christmas oranges' because they're in season in winter months. I thought that was interesting. Does Clem like the cold, Helli or does she despise it like Pico lol? Apparently, they are also those cuties or halos oranges I use to devour as a child lol. And because of said memory, I say that Clem does too. I like to think Luci learns to share, like a child, from Clem, a said child. Luci sells back people's stuff overpriced all the time, and only shares things with Repo. She obviously isn't sharing anything with Pico & she mainly hangs out with Bao at the tea shop so she only buys things. She stole Clem's fruits in front of her once. Let's just say a bunch of sad faces and crying, not only bleed her earholes, but made her feel bad (but she'll never admit it). Does she share things now? Kindaaaaa- no. No, not at all. Only Clem & Repo Affability: the quality of being friendly and easy to talk to

aaaand my inspo board just cuz I was going to draw Vera, I really was! (I was so FRICKIN EXCITED to draw the plant with the braided stock next to the pink flower) but... one look at her head and the pose I chose, I said "No."

Bao was already troubling enough I don't need to build up hate to a character I barely know & already like by getting frustrated with their head (again). So no Vera, Helli, sorrys. Her descriptor was going to be 'nobility' btw
